"What?!" Mi Young couldn't stop herself from shouting as she heard what their professor just said.

"I know you're shocked, I am too, but we can't do anything about it anymore since it's already decided by the school panel. However, I do know some techniques and weaknesses of the other party's members so you won't have to worry." Professor Nam says as he gives Mi Young a reassuring smile.

Mi Young slumps back in her chair upon looking at the nonchalant face of their professor.

"Is there any problem, Miss Kang?"

All Mi Young can do was shake her head as she excuses herself from their professor's office.

Before going out, Professor Nam even shouts "good luck and I hope you practice well!" right after Mi Young closes the door.

"What happened?" The voice of Shang Min suddenly says as she appears right next to Mi Young.

"What did Professor Nam tell you?" Another voice says as Mi Young starts to walk away from the professor's office.

"Nothing. He said I'm going to be the leader for our team next week." Mi Young answers weakly.

Jong In beamed highly at her before he said, "That's really cool, Mi Young! You don't know how much the others are vying for the captain position."

"I don't really need that. All I want is answers…" Mi Young whispers as she continues walking towards anywhere.

"Answers for what?" Jong In asks.

Mi Young looks up at him before she answers with a slight smile. "Nothing. I just needed some fresh air."

After that, the black haired girl starts to walk faster and away from the two students who were both looking at her with puzzled looks.

Mi Young doesn't know why her feet dragged her towards the swamp but she sighs in relief when she is finally met with silence.

Everything is just confusing her.

There were lots of questions swimming in her mind, from the fact about who let her and Se Heon travel to the past? Who was the voice talking to her during her visions and calling her Fireheart? What was that thing that told her about the prophecy? And who was the maiden the prophecy was talking about?

All these questions kept on swarming inside Mi Young's mind, causing her a huge headache.

All she could do was heave out a deep sigh before she slumps on the ground.

Mi Young toys with the wolf fang she was wearing as she speaks to herself, "Why is the world filled with so many questions?"

Just as she was about to close her eyes and welcome the silence, the Basilisk Dragon suddenly appears in front of her and starts licking Mi young's whole body, practically covering her with its saliva. "Medusa~!"

The younger Basilisk Dragons started licking her as well. Mi Young noticed that they were as big as her already in just a span of two months. "Oh you cute little creatures."

Mi Young stayed right there, playing and relaxing with the savage beasts until she saw the surroundings starting to darken.

She bids the Basilisk Dragon a small goodbye before she starts walking towards her penthouse once more.

The black haired girl spent her week practicing the two battle techniques from the book the chief of the dwarves gave her.

Although she hasn't called out her Geo element yet, she still manages to cultivate using the Geo technique written in the book.

The secret Pyro technique was also a huge help. It wasn't really an offensive technique but it was quite a tricky one and can be a great help when escaping during a fight. Mi Young thinks she will only use it if she needed to since it causes her a lot of Pyro mana.

After a week, Mi Young finally stopped looking for answers and so she spent her days practicing and cultivating so she could catch up with the others. She puts all of her time and effort preparing for the upcoming class battle so she could be a great help towards her team and her class.

Mi Young walks towards the academy building to meet with her classmates.

When she entered the class, their professor was already waiting for her.

"Oh Mi Young! I'm glad you're here already." Professor Nam starts to say. "I want you to listen to the rules first before you go out in the arena."

Mi Young nodded her head as everyone else inside the classroom quieted down to hear what their professor was about to say.

"Actually, these rules are far different than the other class battles, I don't know why they changed it but it's a good thing that you get to hear it first." Professor Nam starts to read the contents written on the paper he was holding. "First rule is that a student must be a registered student of the academy in order for him or her to participate in the class battle. Second, no cheating is allowed. If one is found out cheating, he or she will be immediately expelled from the academy. The last rule is that all you need to do in order to be announced as winners is to take down your opponents within thirty minutes. If both parties are still up after thirty minutes the judges will consider the one who had lesser injuries as the winner."

"Is that all, Sir?"

Professor Nam nodded. "Yes. That's all."

"Now, I will call out the names of the six people who will participate in the class battle and represent our class." Professor Nam says. "Jeon Ho Shi. Lee Jong In. Jeon Shi Yun. Kim Moon Byul. Park Ha Ru. Kang Mi Young. Please step forward you six."

All the six students whose names were called start to walk up in front of the class.

"I want you guys to remember that winning is important, but if you really can't stand the enemy, don't push yourself. It's okay to yield sometimes." Professor Nam gently says. Mi Young was expecting him to say something ridiculous but she somehow felt relieved that the professor wasn't pushing them. "All I want for you guys is to learn and experience battling with others."

Mi Young and the others all nodded their heads in anticipation.

"Good. Let's go."

Professor Nam's class arrived at the arena where the other students were all waiting. There were hundreds of people watching and sitting from the bleachers and Mi Young felt like a heavyweight was once again looming on her shoulders. She wanted to protest and stop but she didn't want to disappoint anyone from her class, so she swallowed the huge lump in her throat before she steadied her breathing.

Jeon Shi Yun bumps Mi Young's shoulder to calm the other party. "Hey, it's okay. Just stick to our plan and nothing will happen to you."

"He's right, Mi Young! We're here for you so you don't have to feel scared, okay?" Jong In suddenly interrupts. This caused Shi Yun to look at him with a glare. The other party chuckled before he started to look everywhere but the raven haired boy.

Mi Young chuckled at her friend's goofiness. Somehow, she can feel the heavyweight in her shoulders start to disappear.

They were right, she's not alone so she shouldn't feel any pressure at all.

"Hey!" Upon hearing that oh so familiar voice, Mi Young's worries start to come back once again. "Hey, Mi Young!"

Mi Young sighs deeply before she turns her head towards Se Heon who was smiling at her like they aren't going to face each other in the battlefield in just a few minutes.

"Why are you so tense? Loosen up!" Jeon Se Heon says as he starts massaging Mi Young's shoulder. "Loosen up or you will scare your opponents even though the class battle hasn't begun yet."

When she heard what the other party said, that's when Mi Young realized that Se Heon must have not known.

"Se Heon, do you know which team you are going to face first?"

The other party shook his head. "No. But I'll tear them down to pieces."

Mi Young only looked at him before she stayed silent.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Se Heon asks.

Mi Young just shook her head as she offered the other party a small smile. "Nothing. I hope you don't take this class battle seriously."

Se Heon only answered with a laugh.

Mi Young was about to tell him what's running in her mind but someone from the Geo team called Se Heon so the boy excuses himself before he runs back to his own team.

Mi Young only smiled sadly while looking at the retreating figure of Jeon Se Heon.

"Are you scared of hurting him?" Another familiar voice says behind her. Mi Young doesn't need to look at Jeon Shi Yun to know that the other party is glaring at her.

"Why are you so hot headed when it comes to your brother?" Mi Young asks while turning towards the other party.

"Brother or not he's my enemy so I will do anything to eliminate him."

"Eliminate? That's a strong word don't you think?"

Shi Yun didn't answer her as the MC starts to announce the start of the class battle.

Mi Young lets out a huge sigh before the MC announces the first round of participants.

"From the Geo faction, please let us cheer for Jeon Se Heon's team!" The MC announces through the speakers. There was a huge roar from the crowd when the first team showed up.

Then, it was time for their team to go out.

"--and from the Pyro faction, please give it up for Kang Mi Young and her team!"

When Mi Young and the others went out to the arena, the first thing she saw was Se Heon's confused eyes.
