The book was located on the highest level of the shelf. Mi Young was trying to reach for it but she's too small to do so. She tried again but ultimately failed. The young girl turned to look for the stall owner to ask for his help or just ask for a ladder that she could use in order to reach the book but when Mi Young saw the empty seat where the old man was sitting earlier, she was rather confused.

"Where did he go?" Mi Young whispers to herself. She returns her gaze towards the purple book once more and sees that it was just a few inches away from her. She really wanted to check it. For some reason, there was this huge feeling in her that was saying that she needs to take the book.

Mi Young pouts while crossing her arms and looking at the purple book just right above her. "Why am I small?"

"First, you throw yourself at me and blame me for being a pervert. And now, you're talking to yourself. Tell me a good reason why I should not throw you in the dungeons right now." A voice suddenly says beside Mi Young which caused her to jump from where she was standing.

When the young girl turned to her left, she saw no other than the arrogant and perverted Vice Captain of the Guards.

"Wow, you really think I am perverted? That hurts my pride." The Vice Captain says. Mi Young didn't even realize she said those words out loud. "Anyway, what got you so worked up, babe?"

"Don't call me babe and it's none of your business." Mi Young says while rolling her eyes at the blue haired man. She looks at the purple book one last time before she sighs and starts to exit the stall.

Mi Young was about two steps away from the stall when she heard that familiar annoying voice again, "You forgot this!"

The black haired girl turned around to see what the Vice Captain meant and she almost lost her balance when the other party threw something in front of her. She was about to shout at the man for almost hurting her when she realized what the item was.

In her hands was the book she had been trying to get since earlier. The purple cover of the book seemed more lively against the black haired girl's hands than earlier while it was lying alone on the bookshelf. To her, it looks like the book finally found its rightful owner. Mi Young hears footsteps approaching her and when she sees the Vice Captain getting closer she doesn't know what to react.

"Saw you trying to reach for it earlier." The blue haired man says with a small smile.

"Then why were you still asking me what I want then?" The young girl says while rolling her eyes at the man.

"Can't you just say thank you for once?" The Vice Captain questions in an irritated voice.

The young girl sneered at him before she looked away and mumbles a small, 'thank you'.

"What was that? I didn't hear you." The blue haired man says.

"I said thank you." Mi Young whispers, still looking away from the other party.

The Vice Captain leans forward while cupping his hands around his ears. "What was that again? For some reason I didn't hear you."

Annoyed, Mi Young turned to the man with a sour expression. "I said thank you, you pervert! Are you happy now?"

"Geez. No need to shout, love." The boy says while covering his ears, as if Mi Young's voice totally damaged his eardrums.

"Can you just leave me alone? I already said thank you, right?" The young girl says as she starts to walk away from the Vice Captain.

However, she was only four steps away from the man when the said male blocked her way, immediately making her stop from her tracks.

Mi Young glares at him while still holding her book on her left hand. "What now?"

"Do you really think I would just let you leave like that without paying me back?" The man says with a smirk.

Mi Young's eyes widen in surprise when she hears what the other party said. Then she realized she had no money with her. Her face suddenly reddens at the thought of telling the man that she has no coins or even anything with her but before she could even utter an excuse, the man starts to talk once more.

"So, instead of paying me with your money, why don't you just pay me in another way instead?" The blue haired man says in a very seductive voice. He also added, "What do you say?"

"You are a serious psycho and a pervert!" Mi Young shouts as she kicks the other party's legs before she starts to storm off.

The Vice Captain who immediately recovered from the pain, runs after the maiden who was still fuming in anger and embarrassment. The blue haired man didn't waste any of his time before he grabbed the young girl's arms and yanked her towards him.

"Woah woah. Why did you suddenly kick me? After I gave you the book you wanted all I got was a thank you and a kick? That's so low of you!" The Vice Captain says with furrowed eyebrows.

"Why don't you try and listen to your words. Let's see if you find it perverted or not!" Mi Young fires back while pushing the boy away from her. "And don't you ever grab me again!"

"Wait, what did you think of when I asked you to pay me back for giving you that purple back?" The man asks in a curious voice. When he sees the reddened cheeks and the way the young girl averts her eyes, his suspicions are confirmed. "You're the perverted one here for thinking that I would ask you to pay me with sex!"

Because of the blue haired man's sudden outburst, a few people who were walking around them heard what he had just announced. Some of them covered their children's ears while others threw a disgusted look at Mi Young.

The black haired girl felt scandalized and embarrassed at the same time. So she did what she thought was best.

Mi Young didn't even wait for the young man to finish his sentence before she started dragging him to a deserted alley between two buildings.

When the boy realized where they were, he threw a suspicious look at Mi Young. "So you're the perverted one here."

"Excuse me, I just brought you here because you were spouting nonsense and even caused a huge misunderstanding to the people around us earlier. Now, some of them thinks that I asked you for s-sex!" The young girl says with her eyes closed and reddened cheeks.

"Is that so? My apologies then." The man says in a very sincere voice causing the other girl to look at him in surprise. "Why do you look so surprised?"

"N-Nothing." Mi Young says before she starts questioning the man again. "Anyway, in what way should I pay you for getting this book for me?"

"Well, you look like someone who doesn't have money. So—"

"Excuse you, I just happened to forget them in my dorm since my clothes don't have any pockets with them!" Mi Young says in defense.

Upon the mention of her clothes, the Vice Captain's eyes couldn't stop himself from eyeing the young girl's body from head to foot. He hums to himself before he says, "You do have very nice clothes. And your figure isn't that bad either."

Then the blue haired man's eyes stop on her breast. "They will grow sooner since you're at the peak of your teenage years."

There was a loud smacking sound that came from when Mi Young's hands came in contact with the Vice Captain's cheeks. The blue haired man looks at her in shock while caressing his aching skin, "What was that slap for?"

"For being a pervert!"

"Okay okay! I'm sorry! God gave me eyes so I can appreciate the wondrous views he made for me!"

The black haired girl didn't waste any second before slapping the young man on his other cheek.

"Fine, fine! I'm sorry! Please stop! It hurts!" The Vice Captain says while eyeing the girl with guilt. "I won't do it again. I just can't help it, okay? You're pretty!"

This made Mi Young blush again. She was about to slap the young man once more but when she saw him close his eyes and flinch while waiting for her hands, she stopped midway.

The Vice Captain waits for the loud slap to come but nothing happens. Then a second later, there was something cold that touched his cheek, making him jump in surprise.

When the Vice Captain opened his eyes, that's when he saw the black haired girl's face just a few inches away from him. He was about to back off but then he felt that gentle touch on his aching cheeks once more and that's when he realized that the young girl was treating him.

"Ow." The young man says when he felt the slight pressure coming from the girl's magic.

"Sorry." Mi Young whispers before she retracts her hands. Then she looks at her doing and sees that the Vice Captain's cheeks weren't red anymore. "All done. We're even okay now?"

"What do you even mean?"

"You gave me the book and I healed your cheeks, we're even now." The black haired girl deadpans, about to leave the man again.

"You're supposed to heal it because it's your fault anyway." The Vice Captain says. "But enough about that. You have to come with me."

That's the only thing the Vice Captain said before he started dragging Mi Young out from the small alley.
