For the first 10 healing pills, only items that could be used immediately was used.

The village chief and the 2 most powerful families each got one healing pill just in case they didn't manage to get the batch of pills. 6 other pills were taken by the other smaller families and groups.

Surprisingly, one of the pills was taken by an individual that wasn't part of any faction but that didn't matter to Dan as he wasn't going to be in this world for very long but to the other forces in the village, it was a surprising matter.

Usually, a group would have more treasures than a single person so a single person winning against groups was very surprising.

Another unusual thing was that no one recognized who the person was but even with all that, the auctioned continued.

In the fight for the batch of 5 pills, only the village chief and the 2 most powerful families competed for it. The other groups had already given up knowing that they were never going to win.

The fight started with simple items that could be used immediately but as the auction continued, armors started to come up.

As the auction kept going the head of one of the two powerful families even said, "Why don't you two give up on this one and I will give 1 pill to each of you."

The other family head replied, "Do you think I am crazy? If we agree on this, your family will have 4 pills and we will only have two. If we were to ever fight, you would have a very big advantage."

With that little chat out of the way, the auction continued.

In the end, the family who had offered 1 pill each to the other family and the village chief but they had to pay a large price.

The family used a Level 4 gauntlet.

Dan had all of the items that he had gotten from the auction before him.

After that, the gauntlet disappeared and to Dan's surprise, it felt as if he wasn't wearing the gauntlet, he could feel the texture of the table that he touched.

Feeling a little surprised, Dan tried to hurt his hand with a knife but as the knife was about to touch his hand something blocked it.
