Sofia called in most of the security guards in the company.

After the guards got into the CEO's office, she told all of them to capture Dan.

All of the guards tried to attack Dan but Dan dodged all of the attacks without a problem, this happened for a couple of minutes or so until one of the guards decided to threaten Dan.

The guard took out his gun, aimed at Dan, and told Dan, "Stop moving or I will shoot."

Dan was about to stop but for some reason the guard shot. Dan wanted to dodge the bullet and given his agility, he could have done so but there were a couple of guards behind him.

Dan decided to just take the bullet head-on. The bullet wouldn't be able to hurt him anyway.

The bullet would do 10 damage but with the defense of 15 that Dan had, it would do no damage to him.

Dan had figured out that for some reason, no matter the armor you wear, the defense attribute of the armor would work throughout the body.

This meant that even if Dan only had two armor, the chestplate, and the gauntlet, and the bullet hit the leg, the defense attribute of the armor would still make sure that Dan didn't get any damage.

Just as the bullet hit Dan, it fell down leaving a clinging sound, it didn't manage to do any damage to Dan.

At that point, everyone was shocked as they all thought that Dan was going to die.

Everyone was still surprised when Dan started to talk, "Are we done with this test yet, or do I have to attack as well?"

Sofia managing to get rid of her shock told Dan that the test was done and he could be her bodyguard.

After that, she coldly started to ask the guard that shot the bullet, "Are you crazy? Why in the world would you fire a gun at him? I told you to capture him not to kill him!"

She ordered all of the guards to leave with the guard that shot the gun getting suspended for a month.

After all the guards left, Dan confronted Sofia, "Suspended for a month! If the person standing in my shoes was a normal person, he would have been dead."

Sofia coldly looked at Dan and said, "I decide what happens in my company. You aren't dead anyway plus you get paid 25 million dollars for three months of work so stop complaining."

'What the heck, I thought I had proved my worth.. I should have attacked as well.'
