As Dan was thinking, Sofia interrupted.

"Of course afterward, we are going to buy clothes for me."

'Ok, that makes more sense. Buying clothes for me is just an excuse. What she really wanted was to buy clothes for herself.'

Dan and Sofia went in and as Dan was looking at some of the clothes, he decided to look at the price.

'What the hell most of these cost around 500 dollars while some cost over 1,500. This is crazy.'

As Sofia was making Dan look at the suits, Dan started to get bored really quickly.

"Can't we just buy one suit and start looking for your clothes."

"No, you have to try them out and see which one looks the best."

'I swear, they all look the same to me and why do you even care how I look in these!'

Dan had to wear so many suits before getting one. He also got a couple more branded clothes because he was already at the store anyway.

Now came the hard part of the day. It was time to get clothes for Sofia.

Sofia took Dan around the mall.

They spent half a day in the mall just picking some clothes for Sofia.

'Please, let's just go back to the office. You can do your work while I keep cultivating.'

When Dan was about to pay for the clothes, Sofia interrupted Dan and said that she would pay.

Dan being the type of person he was, he stepped aside and let her pay.

As Sofia was paying for the clothes, she looked at Dan as if saying, at least you could have rejected once instead of just stepping away.

'Why are you looking at me like that? You are the one who said that you would pay plus you have so much more money than I do.'

All of the clothes combined costed over 20,000 dollars.

Dan and Sofia were taking their clothes and going outside when suddenly a voice called out.

"Hey Dan, is that you?"

Dan turned around and said, "Oh Ava, What are you doing here?"

"What else would I be doing here besides getting clothes."

Ava was Lily's best friend.. Dan got along with Ava pretty well and she didn't look down on him just because he was poor.
