The Jiang’s started their holidays on the 29th, meaning to say that the annual party would be on the last day of work. The Jiang’s employees, with their vacation already started, were much more relaxed when it came to drinking.

There were no observations of superior and subordinate during events like this. Even Jiang MingYuan, who had always been solemn, was fed a lot of alcohol. As much as he could hold alcohol, he was still very drunk by the end of the evening.

The drunk Jiang MingYuan didn’t look too different than usual. His cheeks were not red, nor he did not slur in his speech. He looked just like normal and did not sway when he walked. The hotel where the annual party was held was a ways from Jiang MingYuan’s apartment and was a twenty-minute travel by car. By the time they have arrived at the downstairs of the building, Jiang MingYuan, who looked normal just a little while ago, had already collapsed in the back seat.

Qi Shan and the chauffeur got out and, the two of them got Jiang MingYuan out of the car together. Jiang MingYuan, being woken up from that, frowned and casted them a glance before he pushed the two of them asides and stood on his own while using the car to support himself.

The one who was asked did not respond to that at all. After standing around for a little while, he took a step forward. He walked very slowly but steadily. He looked alright. Qi Shan walked out of the elevator and accompanied Jiang MingYuan into his apartment before he turned his turned the lights and start a pot of hot water to make him something that would help alleviate symptoms of being drunk.

When he finished and put the soup on the coffee table, Qi Shan asked in a low voice, “Would you like me to stay and take care of you, Boss?”

Jiang MingYuan pressed his thumb against his temple and, withstanding wave after wave of headache, shook his head and said, “No.”

That was the same answer he has been getting every time and Qi Shan wasn’t surprised by it. He reminded Jiang MingYuan again not to forget to drink the soup and took off.

The chauffeur was still waiting downstairs and started the car after asking about the boss’s wellbeing.

With the gas pedal depressed, the car started getting farther and farther away from the apartment. Looking the apartment that was getting farther and farther away, Qi Shan suddenly noticed a light from a different floor.

“Hmm,” he responded to the chauffeur, then, as though something had just occurred to him, he picked up his phone, looked for a number in his contact list and placed a call.

Cheng Huan had just finished with her mobile game and was about to go to bed. Her phone range the minute that she put it down.

She took a look at the caller idea and answered the call dubiously. “Hello?”

“Hi, Miss Cheng. This is Qi Shan. Do you remember me?”

“Of course. How can I help you?” Cheng Huan sounded a little bit worried. She knew that Qi Shan was Jiang MingYuan’s assistant. Did something happen to Jiang MingYuan? Was that why Qi Shan was calling?

“Well,” Qi Shan was being very straightforward. “The boss is drunk and is now home alone. I want to ask if it is alright for you to go and take care of him a little. Nothing much, just make sure that he drinks the soap that I have made him will be sufficient.”

“Alright.” Cheng Huan agreed to it after just one second. She hung up the phone, changed, grabbed the key, and went upstairs.
