The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 319 - 319 Silent Departure

319 Silent Departure

“Miss Kate,” Miss Scarlet suddenly called. She looked at this young woman who hide her face and felt a bit amused. When she herself was young, she was also afraid of meeting others.

But after growing up slightly, she simply didn’t care that much anymore.

“Yes, Miss Scarlet?” Kate asked.

“It’s rare to see powerful women. I would like to be able to meet with you and exchange some moves.” Miss Scarlet grinned.

Kate was taken aback and then shook her head. “Sorry, my moves are all killing moves. I can’t spar with you.”

“Killing moves? Are you kidding?” Mr. Lance was stunned when he heard that. He himself couldn’t guarantee that he would be able to kill others so easily, especially if the other person was so powerful.

“That’s the truth.” Kate didn’t know how to explain it.

Her ability was reverse healing and she could technically kill anyone who got too close to her. If she wanted to, she might be able to destroy all kind of living being around her without any qualms.

But Kate would never do that.

.....

Professor Bale chuckled. “She’s saying the truth. The tragedy in City H is quite famous and I don’t think it’s necessary to be repeated.”

“Tragedy in City H? Damn it, I’m lagging behind in news,” Miss Scarlet scolded. She was at the south, the areas with the less resources among them all. The south area was relatively dry and empty.

She had to worked her *sses off just to get stronger. In the process, there were already a lot of blood spilled here.

Thankfully, there were still some cities that could still stand under the brutal attacks of these giant mutated animals. She herself had also somewhat settling down in this city by now.

“I see.” Mr. Yami knew this incident too. Because he was trying to build a shipping company, of course the most important thing was for him to have enough information about what was happening in the area.
The tragedy in City H was actually fueled by the silent battle of the leader and that person…

He didn’t want to get involved.

Who would have thought that there would be an extremely strong reverse healer appearing during this chaos? And this reverse healer was also very ruthless as she killed countless people in City H directly.

Since then, they all understood that it was impossible to suppress these reverse healers anymore.

Those who sided with that person had been switching sides.

They were all afraid of what might happen if they accidentally offended these two big behemoth reverse healer. Even if they knew that this new reverse healer might not even side with the leader, those who sided with the one who abused her would definitely receive her ire.

No one wanted to die yet.

Thus, they silently moved sides.

“You’re well informed, Professor Bale.” Kate looked at the aged professor and smiled bitterly.

“I only know some things.” Professor Bale shrugged. “Also, if you’re interested, you can come to the east. There are more pieces of gems spreading on the ground.”

Kate arched her eyebrows.

She had heard from Kyle that the source of these gems were from the meteorite. It seemed that the direction was actually towards the east as it ejected a lot of its parts on the way.

Perhaps, this was also the reason why this giant mutated plant could appear.

“I will consider it.”

“Good.”

They switched topics and began to talk about other matters. Everyone was extremely bored in their place too. There was no longer any interesting entertainment that they could use like how it used to be before the red rain.

And meeting with these powerful people, they could also consult about their own training methods and advancement…

Alright, not advancement.

All of them advance directly due to the third red rain. It was estimated that no one else would have advancement as easily as them in the future.

When the meeting was about to be over, the leader said that they had to inform the businessmen they wanted to promote to communicate as the meeting will begin in half an hour.

“Finally, it’s done.” Kate heaved a sigh of relief. Having to show her face in a meeting like this made her really nervous.

“You don’t have to worry so much. Even if you said anything wrong, no one will blame you.” Kyle chuckled and patted Kate’s head.

Kate hummed. “So, did you sell those drawings?”

“Yes. The Leader will send the resources I asked and I’ll ask my father to take care of it. Unfortunately, Professor Bale couldn’t come here nor sending anyone, so we should just silently head towards that giant mutated plant.” Kyle shrugged.

“You’re not going to bring the others?” Kate asked. Usually, they would go as a team together.

“This time, Jake and Lotte should be given more time to prepare for their marriage.” Kyle didn’t want to disturb those two lovebirds. He had enough eating dog food and would rather just spend more time with Kate.

“Right.” Kate knew that Jake would definitely complain if his time were to be taken again.

“Let’s ask Marc and Lucy to come. Robby should also come along too.”

Kate nodded and texted the two of them while Kyle informed Dylan and also Mr. White about the meeting. They would be invited directly in their phone and asked not to spread the invitation link to anyone else. Kyle then informed his father about the ‘package’ that would come along with the things that had to be given.

After it was done, the two of them silently went to the seventh underground base.

<Marc and the others’ location>

Marc looked at the message in his phone and fell into silence. He turned to look at Robby, who was still being massaged by Lucy.

“Let’s go, we have a mission.”

“Wang?” <What? Another mission so quickly?>

Lucy also received the message and pursed her lips. Well, anyway, it meant that she could finally beat more giant mutated animals. That should be more fun rather than beating these metal dolls.
