Noticing that Nie AnAn was still being her normal self, everybody all stopped talking about Huo YanXiao. 

Over dinner, Mother Nie talked a lot with Nie ChengFeng and the atmosphere over dinner was lively. 

Nie AnAn understood that they were trying to distract her on purpose and very much appreciated that. Even so, as much as she understood that Huo YanXiao had been planning for this, she was still worried about him nonetheless.

In the next two days that followed, Nie AnAn had not received any calls or texts from Huo YanXiao. On the internet, stories about Huo YanXiao being critically ill were all over the place and continued to intensify. 

“Per a very reliable source, Huo YanXiao has been in the ICU for three days and the hospital has announced that he was in critical condition three times.”

“The Huo’s, without their leader, has been a mess. For the time being, Qin Hai had stepped in in handling the business operations in Huo YanXiao’s place. Should Huo YanXiao pass away, the company would be managed by Qin ZiMing.”

“Per other sources, Huo YanXiao had already transferred all of his assets to his wife, Nie AnAn, but that remains to be verified.”

“Qin Hai, the CEO of the Qin’s Corporation left for City Hai the day his eldest son had fallen ill and seemed to have aged 10 years overnight.”

“Qin ZiMing also left for City Hai and even went to visit Huo YanXiao despite the possibility of being infected.”

“We have just received news that Huo YanXiao will be released from the ICU tonight and the doctors might let the family members know to come and visit him for one last time!”

News after news about Huo YanXiao appeared on Weibo and all of Huo YanXiao’s fans from before all started posting their final prayers and blessings for Huo YanXiao on the web.
