Chapter 58 -  Horse-back Riding

The crowd pushed the magic box in front of him. 

Huo YanXiao lifted his beautiful hand and reached inside. Quickly, he retrieved a slip.

“Please text your loved one and say you are thinking of them right now.”

Huo YanXiao stared at the slip for a few seconds before he finally pulled out his cellphone.

He looked up Nie AnAn’s number. After he had clicked into her name, he gave his temple a rub before he continued. 

Everybody crowded around him, and Mr. Cameraman purposefully blocked Nie AnAn’s number and only filmed Huo YanXiao’s screen. 

“AnAn,” he typed, frowned, and typed some more. “I miss you.”

Finally, Huo YanXiao didn’t even take another look at it before he quickly pushed the “Send” button and put his cellphone aside. 

The entire time, with the exception of when Huo YanXiao had rubbed his temple and pinched between his brows, there was no expression on his face nor was there any fluctuation of emotions within his eyes. 

Everybody was holding their tongues. They wanted to tease, but they didn’t know where to start. 

The streaming channel exploded again.

“OOOOOOoooh, Brother Huo said he missed AnAn!!”

“Brother Huo said he misses me! Look at my alias! I am AnAn!”

“Seriously? How did you come up with that one?”

“Hehe. I have also changed my alias to AnAn and I have also taken a screenshot along with my alias. I am going to send it to my friend’s circle. Oh yea!”

“Why do I feel something’s off? Where has AnAn been?”

“Oh, that’s right. How come AnAn didn’t bring over her heartfelt crystal dumplings today?”

“That’s right! AnAn was there by Brother Huo’s side all day yesterday. How come she didn’t show up at all today? Did they have a fight?”

“So they had a fight, that’s why AnAn went out with Ji YunChuan? Brother Huo wanted to woo his little sister, so he took the opportunity of the game to send her a text?”

“But AnAn can’t use her phone! So she won’t even see his text till after the filming of the show!”

Nie AnAn was horse-back riding when the wall of texts was getting out of control.

She had never rode a horse before she had transmigrated, so she was pretty excited. 

As the horse was running on the grass field, Nie AnAn was enjoying the feeling of her body rocking back and forth as the horse galloped forward. She felt that she could fly. 

On one side, Ji YunChuan was pretty excited as well. He prompted his horse to follow Nie AnAn’s. 

Inside Yun Lai Inn, a guest saw someone’s WeChat with GPS location and exclaimed uncontrollably, “Hey, AnAn is horse-back riding!”

“Horse-back riding?” asked someone else.

“Yeah! I saw a video posted by some passerby. She was horse-back riding with Ji YunChuan!”

“Let me see!”

“Hahaha. AnAn is even cute when she’s riding a horse! Look at her pony tail going from side to side in synchrony with the real horse tail!”

“I know, right? She’s so cute. Isn’t that horse a bit too big for her? She looks like the book boy on the horse. And Ji YunChuan next to her looks like a fragile scholar!”

Someone thrusted their phone in front of Huo YanXiao as they were talking, “Take a look, Mr. Huo.”

Huo YanXiao took the phone from them. His gaze calmly fell onto the screen. He watched the ten second or so video clip three times, and his profound look gave away no emotions. 

He gave the cellphone back and picked up his cup of tea again. It was only when the tea cup touched his lips that he realized that he had already finished the entire cup.
