Transmigrated Into The Book

"You kept on sighing? What's wrong?" 

William almost jolted his soul out the moment he heard Daniel's voice, it's true that he was feeling uneasy and he couldn't stop himself from thinking of Asher. He was so out of his mind that he almost forgot every little word and action he was making. 

Daniel tapped his shoulders "Do you want to take a break?" He was talking about resting for a while because William kept on cleaning and doing some unusual things today.

William quickly refused "No! No! I'm fine manager!" he exclaimed as he continued to wipe the glass walls. Maybe he was just acting a little weird because of Asher's decision to transfer to another class. He didn't get the chance to talk to him because both of their classes have different times,Asher wasn't even in the cafeteria during the lunch time.

"Are you and your friend okay?" 

William flinched again for the second time after hearing Daniel's question. "W-We're f-fine!" he chuckled nervously "I guess.." then he sighed 

Daniel finds his expression a little bit bothersome so he leaned closer and brushed William's hair. "Don't worry, everything will be alright" he comforted

William was stunned from the man's action,he almost blushed and froze. He gripped the broom he was holding to release the tension he was feeling because Daniel brushing his hair was a little bit comforting. Not until he saw a familiar student standing outside of the glass wall he was wiping a while ago.

"Asher?!!!" 

William almost yelled which made Daniel surprised as they both looked out on the other side of the glass wall. Asher was standing there watching them doing that kind of stuff, but his face was expressionless. 

William didn't know what to do when their eyes met, he wanted to tell Asher that it wasn't what he was thinking for,Daniel was just doing it to lift up the tight atmosphere. When he was going to open his lips, Asher walked away.

Leaving William dumbfounded and frozen, Asher secretly clicked his tongue in disappointment. Seeing William doing that kind of thing with other people wasn't really a big deal for him but doing it with Daniel made his heart race in rage. 

The truth is he wanted to see the male after class because he wanted to apologize for leaving him alone and thanking him for that night. But after seeing such a scene, it made him a little bit agitated that he wanted to punch the glass wall and pulled William towards his embrace. 

Asher once again strided the noisy and long road away from the place he didn't want to see. His heart started to feel uneasy that it made him clenched his chest. Did William get angry because he suddenly transferred to another class? It wasn't his decision, it was his father and leaving the male out of it is too much for him. His father asked him to stay away from William, Asher didn't want to do it but he knew how ruthless his father is, and he didn't want his only friend to get involved.

In the middle of the crowded place, with different noises invading his ears. He tugged his hood up to cover the expression he didn't want William to see, it's good that he managed to walk away before he breaks. 

The next day, usual and normal class day happened. William went to the library to study for their upcoming prelim exams. He got so many books on his table like he was going to drown himself until night, he also got no part time job so he can rest assured. 

"Okay, Where should I start?" he asked himself the moment he looked at the stock pile of books, he totally didn't know where to start because his mind was still occupied by Asher. They still haven't got the right time to talk about the things between them. Classes are ongoing and both sections are too busy. 

"Gaahh!!! Why am I even thinking about him!!!?" William grabbed his own hair in panic while erasing the bubble of his imagination containing Asher. He then opened up a book and decided to read every word just to clear his mind. 

In the middle of his confusion, William didn't know that there was someone staring at him secretly from a distance. 

Asher slowly put the book in front of his face so that he would be covered, he was just staring at William for almost a minute. It wasn't his intention but he didn't know that the male would also come here to study.

He couldn't stop himself from making a half smile after seeing the male panicking, it made him a little bit glad but bothered at the same time. William was a top student and he thinks that it wasn't the right time to make a move so maybe staring at him from a far can give him assurance at least that William was alright. 

After reviewing, William stood up. You can see his exhausted face from studying hard, he quickly returned the books to the shelves and exited the library. When he was about to make a turn….

"Yow!!!!" Nathan showed up from nowhere which made the male jolts in surprise. "What the heck!?" William exclaimed 

Nathan circled around the dumbfounded male. "Did I surprise you?!" he giggled "Want to come with me?" he asked

William gave him a puzzled look. "Where?" he asked

Nathan beamed in delight and dragged the male to his pace while exclaiming. "Let's go to the karaoke!! There are lots of beers there!!! It was my best friend's birthday and he asked me to come with another friend and because you are my beloved little Liam, I will grant you the audience" He said happily

William was not in the mood to drink but he thought that maybe this can help him to lift up his mind from Asher, he still needed to focus and experience other things. So he let the male drag him continuously. 

They ended up entering a pub with a limited person, Nathan's friend must be rich to reserve the place for his birthday. The two took the seat at the corner of the room, the area was almost bursting with music and the lights were a little bit uncomfortable for William's eyes so he decided to sit there quietly.

"Come on! Don't just sit there! Have a drink,my cute Liam" Nathan smacked him with a glass of beer in his hands. "I didn't bring you here to sulk in the corner" he insisted

William smiled nervously. "I don't think I can drink that much, I'm not really in the mood right now and my alcohol tolerance is very low" he said 

Nathan frowned "But you said that you want to forget someone!" he snorted "Come on man, I'm comforting you here" he added

And William ended up drinking with them until he couldn't take anymore....
