"Where do you want to go this time again?"

Richard Dawson was facing the window, he parted the cigarette from his lips and glanced at Asher  "Why are you so eager to remember something, my son?"he asked 

Asher remained silent for a minute then he titled his head "Because my headaches are getting bad these days" he replied which made Richard show a worried expression "Are you taking your medicines properly?" he asked

Asher nodded vigorously, hoping that his father would let him go this time. Richard stood up and pressed the last piece of his cigarette on the ashtray. "Bring three of your gu---"

"I want to go alone," Asher quickly responded,not even giving time for his father to finish his sentence, though he knew it anyway. The truth is, Asher wanted to go to that place where he took the picture with the male beside him. The shady tree and the fireflies at night under the moonlight and stars. 

"You'd never listen to me," Richard Dawson commented, almost brushing his face in dismay. 

Asher stood up "Am I free to go now?" he asked, "Father, I will be fine...I promised!" he said with a big smile on his cheeks as he exited the door.

He excitedly trailed the hallways towards his room, he quickly slammed the door and jumped on his bed. He dialed a familiar number and waited for the other line to answer.

"Hello?"

Asher was delighted after hearing the voice on the line "Hi Liam" he greeted the male with a smile on his face. 

The other male on the line seemed a little bit astonished by the sudden call "Y-Yes?" he replied

Asher compressed the giddy feeling inside him before answering, it's good that they exchanged numbers the night he stayed at the male's place. "Are you busy?" he asked

"I'm at work"

"Oh! I see…" Asher then noticed that William was a little bit busy so he made the announcement quickly, "I want to go somewhere, can you accompany me?" 

"Sure,"

Asher sprang once again on his soft cushion bed after hearing William's answer "Then, let's go after your job" he stated

The phone call ended, letting the two agree to each other. Asher then put his phone on the drawer near his table and picked up the photo instead, he slumped back to bed and raised the photo card high above his arms while observing it.

He once again stared at the face of the male smiling next to him in the picture, it made his heart flutter going down to his stomach where the butterflies flapped their wings. A smile was drawn into his face as he stayed silent.

He wasn't thinking that different but there was inside him that's striking back every time he was with William, like a strong connection. Asher put down the thing from the air onto his chest then he rolled on the other side of the bed. He unconsciously constructed some words. 

"Are you my lover,Liam?"

'DING! LOVE METER: 95%'

"...Oh?!" 

William blabbed out unconsciously after hearing the love meter, he wasn't expecting it. He looked around and observed the other staff inside the cafe, making sure that no one noticed him. Luckily, he blabbed it out just enough to hear himself.

Did he finally remember me?

Why did he want to see me?

Where are we going?

Questions occupied his mind for the meantime while he was wiping the tables, the cafe was almost closed and they are just cleaning for tomorrow. He was wiping the same over and over again, so one of his co-workers tapped his shoulders and told him to wipe the transparent wall instead. 

William went to the part near the door, he didn't know what's gotten into him but hearing the love meter increased made him more assured a little more.

Will he achieve a happy ending this time?

There was only one thing inside his thoughts right now, he needed to see Asher as soon as possible to ask him directly. He wouldn't get another wink of sleep if the day passed by without them meeting. 

After wiping the transparent wall and helping the others clean, the cafe was now going to be completely closed. Daniel who just finished changing his clothes in the locker room saw the different smile on William's lips.

"You have a date?"

William immediately turned his head to the manager, he blushed from the words he heard, "N-Not r-really!" he replied, tucking the hem of his shirt towards his head. He changed to a simple shirt then he sniffed himself "Should I go home and take a bath first?" he thought 

Daniel saw the little gestures he was making so he chuckled "You seems to be very excited" he commented 

William closed his locker after changing and hung his sling bag across his shoulders, "Manager, stop teasing me!" he blurted out as soon as he noticed a teasing tone and smirk.

Daniel looked at him, "Give me the keys," he said "You can go to work late tomorrow, I want you to enjoy this special night" he said. William was delighted so he quickly handed the keys after saying his thanks.

He was humming a happy sound as he trudged the exit, Daniel was left there because the male asked him to go out first. Well, he was expecting that Asher was already there, waiting for him.

He wasn't wrong though, Asher was indeed there, inches away from the cafe. He waved his hands to William to catch his attention. 

They met under the lamppost.

William's heart was beating so fast at the moment, it wanted to burst out from his chest and jumped to Asher. He tried to control himself when the male smiled at him. 

When he was going to respond,footsteps behind him interrupted the quiet night between them.

"Yow, Liam...It's been a while"

Both of them looked around to trace the familiar voice, William got chills down his spine. The face he hated the most showed up, he stepped forward and slightly pushed Asher behind him. 

"What do you want?" His voice was sharp and cold.

The two men paused and then they laughed, "Is this how you're going to greet us?" One of them peered behind and scanned Asher, "How's your head, Asher? I thought I killed you that day" A grin crawled onto his face "My bad," he added

Yes, William knew the suspect behind Asher's sabotage. It made his blood boil more, making a hard compressed ball of his fist.
