"I want it again...ah...Master, stop talking! Don't stop...kiss me..."
He felt her pulling him closer, first their lips touched, then the pleasure of lips and tongues entwined again. In a trance, the snake walkers at multiple points in time overlapped, and the images of multiple people and snakes merged into one. Struggle and sinking, delicate and weird, snake scales and skin, human body and snake body, confusion...
Feelings continue to accumulate in the disordered time and cause and effect, bringing more and more intense pleasure.
A snake tongue like a noose, a human tongue as soft as fat, and the long, forked tongue between them all entwined delicately around his, sharing each other's saliva. Simultaneously, his mouth was filled with sensations from different times, each accumulating and lifting him ever higher. One moment he wasn't kissing, the next, he felt every inch of his lips, mouth, and tongue filled with her fragrant tongue, a green snake licking, teasing, and kissing them. He knew she must have felt the same way.
First the lips, then the intertwined and rubbing bodies, and then it reaches the most sensitive area.
This accumulation of desire brought all the different actions of the entire process together at a single point in time, so even the slightest friction was like the last straw that broke the camel's back. The almost uncontrollable pleasure made them hug each other tightly, while emitting ecstatic gasps and cries.
The moment his lust for flesh and blood finally came to fruition, Cesar felt himself entangled by the green snake, falling into an abyss, sinking ever lower. He gripped her slender waist tightly, and she clutched his back, each of them carving blood grooves with their nails. His muscles tensed, the snake's head pressed firmly against her small opening, and he poured out a stream of slime that seemed to contain soul and consciousness.
The seed passed directly through the hole and poured into her body, the intense heat making her moan. The green snake, still in his ecstatic kiss, convulsed, her entire body arched back, letting out a distant, hoarse cry. Her body practically turned to water, limp in his arms, only her lower body continued to twitch. Her abdomen was even swollen, constantly overflowing with the seed of flesh and blood.
Then, they regained consciousness. Cesar stood up first, then reached out and helped the dazed Snake Walker to stand on his two feet.
"How long has it been?" She looked a little dazed, half leaning on his chest, not paying attention to the seed flowing down her thigh. "A few months? A few years? Has the tomb collapsed?"
"Old Milava has only taken two steps," Cesar reminded her kindly.
The Snake Walker pinched her jaw and rubbed it twice, quickly regaining consciousness. "I understand," she said. "It seems those unsightly tendencies have vanished, at least for now. Now I feel like I'm enveloped in the light of wisdom and rationality. Even walking on two legs is a simple and easy act."
"But they don't have many steps left to go," Cesar continued, "because young Milava has arrived with the real lord. From then on, the peaceful struggle will surely turn into complete destruction. To prevent the ancient prophet from getting the largest share of the inheritance, the Blood and Bones and the Wise will most likely break the seal and the True Dragon together."
"Is this also a form of exploitation?" She licked the corner of her lip. "But please rest assured, Master Prophet, I won't tell anyone about this."
“I usually speak up myself,” Cesar said.
"Really? But I still won't tell you. You know, I often overhear things I shouldn't have heard and meet people I shouldn't have met, but only I know what I've discovered. So, according to you, the legacy of the true dragon will be shattered and scattered like snow across the grave?"
Chapter 486: Inside the Ring
"It can be broken into pieces," Cesar said, "but in order for you to catch up with your ancestors, we need to get a larger piece. I hope you have your spells ready. Any accidents may happen next."
"Mage..." The Snake Walker picked up a piece of dark blue silk from the ground, tied it up casually, and wrapped her in it like a silk robe. "Actually, I prefer to wield chains and tear human bodies apart. But if you insist on pretending to be a mage, I can do it too," she said, tying her clothes tightly. "I'll use the snake skin I just peeled as my outer robe."
"Give me your hand now, Green Snake."
"Green Snake?" She extended her hand and placed her emerald nails on his palm. "I haven't decided what to call myself yet. Perhaps I should wait until I observe the human world for a while and then decide on my own. Besides, I'm more than just a snake. Although I call you Master, I don't want to accept any random name you give me, Prophet. In this world, there are many kinds of master-servant relationships, and the one I emulate happens to be you and your mistress."
"I just need a name," Cesar said, holding her hand. "It's no longer appropriate to call you by your species name. You can consider it a nickname."
She was very reluctant, "But according to your human customs, this is what parents do to their children..."
Before the green snake could finish its words, Cesar had already responded to his body's call. When he opened his eyes, he had already fallen to the ground. The narrow crevice in the rock wall had vanished, replaced by a vast, boundless sealed space. However, the moment he appeared, the old emperor suddenly turned his head, as if he had been waiting for him for a long time. Their eyes met, and a magic circle suddenly activated above his head, descending from the sky with a series of intertwined rings, enveloping Cesar.
Already prepared?
Needless to say, the spell he encountered was the ancient spell that Jiralor had summoned from the tombs along the way. It was similar in purpose to the circle spell that sealed the real dragon, but on a much smaller scale. He could see the intricate runes and feel the all-encompassing blockade around him, every movement like a bound by invisible hinges, like iron chains tying a ship to the harbor.
Cesar slowly stepped back, feeling the invisible hinges restraining him. Even lifting his feet was a struggle, and with each step, his heart began to pound violently against his chest. He glanced at Ajeh from the side and saw that, having swallowed so much dragon flesh and blood, she was already unconscious. She crouched on the ground, completely devoid of her human form. She looked like a giant gray wolf, primitive and ignorant, her bared fangs even dripping with saliva.
Ajiehe has been eating randomly all the time, and this is not the first time she has gotten into trouble because of similar things.
Almost immediately after Cesar appeared, Sephora vanished within the magical circle that materialized from thin air. The Faceless One was also enveloped, a soulless object, falling into the distance. He fell to the ground not because someone had dropped him, but because the person who was supposed to carry him had vanished in an instant, and the one who was supposed to catch him had been exiled, leaving only a drunken giant wolf and a fainted human, limp and burdensome.
A responsive banishment spell... What are the conditions? His soul and Sephora's soul coexist in the same place?
With Kuna magic, it is not uncommon to do this, but the caster is so familiar with him and Sephora, and is so wary of the Faceless Spy that he knows to set up a responsive spell. The caster must be Jiralo.
They had been lingering under Jilalo's gaze for so long, and Jilalo had observed them for so long, that there were almost no secrets between them. If Jilalo himself didn't know he was being watched, didn't know he was part of the Kuna consciousness, then he was indeed a perfect spy.
The old emperor grinned at him. "Not everything will go as you wish, Cesar."
The green snake's lips hissed against his ear, and a secret voice came: "Since I can remember, Blood and Bones has been leading us to break the spell here. I can break it, but it will take some time, my prophet master."
Cesar nodded slightly, feeling a snake's tail crawling up his ankle. He didn't know where she had lost her human body again, but with her snake-sloughed robe draped over her, Cesar didn't want to ask further questions. The snake's tail licked his waist and abdomen like a soft tongue, climbing up his chest, leaving him numb. Meanwhile, her emerald green nails tore a wound in his chest, so fast that it was almost imperceptible.
Blood flowed down, and the snake's tail was like a feather pen dipped in blood, outlining a series of spell runes on his chest and abdomen.
The dragon's seal continued to expand. The rune-metal sphere, already immense, could fill the dome of an entire cathedral, threatened to overwhelm the Black Mountain, perhaps even shatter it. Thousands of metal rings whirled at a dizzying speed, and the one closest to them threatened to sweep past them, wiping them out of the area.
"Can you walk?" Cesar asked her.
"I can transform into a virtual body, but then I will be exposed to the eyes of the ancestor."
"I'll take you there." He picked up the green snake's slender waist and retreated again, step by step, pulling the invisible chain to struggle to Ajiehe's side. The snake walker wrapped the snake's tail tightly around his waist, grabbed his shoulders with both hands and shrank back until he stood still. She still shrank behind him. She seemed to feel
If she stuck her head out, the sealing chains would pass through him and wrap around her.
Feeling the two hinges tightening, pulling him back, not just his limbs but his internal organs ripped apart, bleeding profusely, Cesar gasped. He had to clear his mind, especially his resistance to the experience of death. He took another step back, finally resting his back against Ajeh's wolf head. He reached out and grasped her fangs, feeling the wolf head as tall as himself.
The green snake's tongue hissed behind him. "This guy has a strange smell. I want to take a bite..."
"She's swallowed too much dragon flesh and blood, and is about to regress." Cesar grabbed her fangs and pried open her wolf mouth. "Look inside, do you see them?"
"I saw a lot of white frost seeping into her internal organs, just like snow piled on the ground," said the green snake. "She is drunk."
"Go in there and take as much as you can. It doesn't matter if you eat it all. This guy has to wake up."
"If she bites me later, I will definitely bite you back." As soon as she finished speaking, she slipped in like a snake. The robe made of her snake skin was still hanging on his back, and her tail was still wrapped around his waist, but her body was deeply embedded in Ajiehe's open wolf mouth.
The metal ring enclosing the dragon drew closer, spinning so fast it was almost invisible. Vast swathes of beastmen and knights were swept into it, like rice being crushed to dust by a rumbling millstone. Chunks of body parts and shattered armor were blown away, hurled in all directions, wedging themselves into the rock and ground. A near-death silence reigned. Only a few knights from Alranti, the snake walkers from Bloodbone, and the two Milavas remained, steadily advancing towards the enclosed dragon.
Everyone wants that incredible legacy.
"You fucking thing - Cesar, what did you put in my mouth!" Ajeh's eyes widened, she coughed twice and was about to bite off her sharp teeth and cut off the snake's body.
Cesar didn't reply, instead using his right arm to block her bite. With his left hand, he pulled out the green snake, which had swelled up to his abdomen. The creature swam back into its shed skin, crouched behind him, and transformed into a human. It even glanced at Ajiehe, its hissing tongue even stained with the white frost that Ajiehe hadn't fully digested.
This is what it means to snatch food from a wolf's mouth. Even if these two didn't have a grudge before, they must have one now. However, Cesar didn't care to pay attention to that. He grabbed Ajeh's sharp teeth and glared at her, demanding she see the situation clearly.
I'll come to trouble you next time. This meaning came out of Ajiehe's beast eyes, and then she threw herself into his body and disappeared like a shadow.
"The key to breaking the spell is complete," the green snake whispered in his ear, "but you have to endure the pain, Prophet—the chain will break on its own when it's pulled to its limit. You can endure it, right?"
The transformation had already brought on a sharp pain of flesh-tearing, the ripping of the chains noticeably more intense. Cesar managed a breathless breath, not bothering to adjust. He simply opened his wolf jaws and bit Aya, who lay curled on the ground. He turned and flung her onto his back, which was now over a meter wide, commanding the green snake to hold on tight. The next moment, he lunged at the approaching metal ring.
Leaping to his feet, the snake-walker muttered an incantation, then bit his ear with its fangs and injected a trickle of liquid. Cesar first felt a surge of longing, the same confusion and disorientation he'd felt earlier, their bodies intertwined. Then, he noticed time slowing down again. This fellow was quite perceptive, instantly grasping the subtle truths of Analik's path and applying the experience of intercourse to his magic.
Seizing the opportunity, he stretched his limbs, adjusting his stance as time slowed, and snatched at the passing rune fragments. The ring spun him along, the invisible chains tugging at his internal organs and body, straining them to the point of tearing him to pieces before snapping with a bang.
Old Milava turned his head sharply, his eyes wide open, but Cesar had already climbed onto the spinning rune fragments. He trembled with pain, then felt dizzy.
The ring spun so fast it nearly flung him off the ground. Despite his desperate attempts to hold on, barely clinging to it, he still felt dizzy from the whirlwind. In a single breath, the millstone-sized rune fragment had carried him from the bottom of the Black Mountain to the top of the dome, brushing past the corpse-eater's bones. Of course, that was only a moment.
This guy stared at Cesar who flashed by with several pairs of bloodshot eyes and let out a low growl. He didn't look very intelligent.
Blood Bone wasn't dead yet? Was it the original Blood Bone, or the later cannibal noble of the Kasar Empire? It was all shrouded in mystery, and Cesar couldn't fathom it, nor did he want to. As the lust for flesh and blood enveloped his soul, he leaped from the outer layer of rune fragments to the inner layer, quickly passing through more than a dozen nearly shattering barriers and catching up with the Snake Walker Progenitor.
Although the distorted use of flesh and blood desires made his blood burn and his breathing heavy, and even the snake walker who cast the spell had a racing heart, pupils dilated, and saliva secreted in his panting, Cesar had experienced far more desires than she did and could still endure it. He could even continue to observe the environment despite this confusion and loss.
Even in the slow time scale, he had to be careful when moving along the metal ring. He had to cling to the direction of the runes. If he did it in the opposite direction, his body would be torn apart.
.
Cesar dodged paths that would have passed before Old Milava and Bloodbone, and also avoided the path of the Snake Walker Ancestor, lest the winged serpent dragon face the green snake behind him. He weaved and leaped through ring after ring, the deeper he went, the smaller the rings became, and the slower their rotation. Numerous gleaming metal spears hurled their way towards him. A careless leap would have pierced him, carried him into the whirling trail of rune fragments, and torn to shreds. From time to time, the old emperor's low growl could be heard.
He kept his nerves tense, listening and observing those seemingly slow but actually deadly threats, and finally approached the real dragon's shell first. He even passed the young Milawa, who also encountered many obstacles, and his path was almost paved with a forest of rocks full of spears.
Cesar finally grasped the dragon's shell, clinging on tightly. As an immature dragon, the original form of the Trickster Prophet, this creature was much smaller than the mountainous, dormant dragon, but still powerful enough to crush a tower. He had originally planned to wait and see, but the rivals for the inheritance were clashing and holding each other back, allowing him to reach the destination first. It was truly bizarre.
The dragon's body was now a bloody mess, its scales mostly peeled off, its skin incomplete, revealing muscle tissue and even visible bone in some places. He extended his claws, hooked them around the broken body, and grasped its spine with his hands, beginning to climb along its back towards its head. That place held the memories of the real dragon. He could discard the rest, but he desperately wanted to possess the memories, to give them to Diana and Fils to study carefully.
If used properly, not only could they escape, but they could completely master the Yestren School, the True Dragon Cult. Seeing a primitive wolf-born approach the memories of a True Dragon, old Milava aside, the hunched sage behind him had gone mad. The entire Black Mountain, enveloped by the sacred words of the Wall of the First Men, was plunged into violent turmoil and trembling, as if he would rather let the entire tomb take its toll than allow the Beastmen to approach the True Dragon's legacy.
Bloodbone suddenly opened its arms, and the Snake Walker Ancestor roared. A series of Snake Walkers were devoured by their ancestor, transformed into pure blood and nutrients. A group of Corpse Eater Shamans also raised their arms and let out a chorus of earth-shattering cries. Blood, mixed with souls, flew out from their withered bodies, and in an instant, it transformed into a dark, thick blood mist in Bloodbone's hands.
What a cruel sacrifice... The green snake behind Cesar was trying hard to suppress its desire, but when it saw that all its compatriots who followed the ancestor died in the blink of an eye, its heartbeat and breathing stopped all of a sudden.
The two sides have been confronting each other for so long, and finally they can't help but destroy the first person who gets close to the inheritance?
Only the young Milava, seeing Cesar's gaze, seemed to instantly see through him and recognize him. She quickened her pace and ran towards him, regardless. Honestly, if Milava hadn't recognized him, Cesar would have felt better. It was as if the scene was saying that even if he burned to ashes, Milava would still pick his ashes out from the other ashes.
In addition, as he thought, once they discovered that someone was approaching, the two sides of the confrontation would immediately lose control and release spells regardless of sacrifice or cost, even if the result was self-destruction and the demise of the clan, they would prevent the other side from succeeding.
The gradually unraveling True Dragon Seal spiraled out of control. The previously smoothly rotating, intertwined rings suddenly collided. First, the two rings collided with a deafening roar. Shattered rune metal collapsed in all directions amidst a roar like a mountain collapsing. Then, the entire metal sphere ceased to float and began to plummet.
Chapter 487: Ancient Memories and Knowledge
Cesar saw the light emanating from the True Dragon's eyes, a deep, azure blue. With the seal broken, and with the True Dragon's power largely absorbed and shattered by Milava and the Snake Walker, its memories had lost their surface, like a fruit core, seeping out from its eyes.
Light emanated from the hoarfrost exhaled by the dragon, shimmering like light through a thin mist, a sight that was enchanting. The light, formless and intangible, consumed his entire vision, a seductive allure that seemed to hold true knowledge, drawing him in and filling him with desire. He wanted to grasp it tightly, perhaps even devour it.
If the tomb's seal is the skin, and the dragon's flesh and blood is the fruit, then this true knowledge and memory is the core hidden deep within. To the Snake Walker Ancestor and the old emperor vying for the fruit, it seems weak and insignificant, unworthy of attention. But to Cesar, to Alanti, and to the Blood and Bones far atop the dome, the core is actually more alluring than the fruit itself; it is what they desire.
Cesar barely managed to maintain his composure, moving closer while suppressing his desire to swallow it. His thirst intensified; he found saliva oozing from the corners of his mouth, his hands itching to move, and his heart pounding. He reached out for the shimmering light, feeling like reaching deep into a glacier and grasping a thin fragment.
This memory of true knowledge is not heavy at all, but rather as light as a feather, and it seems like it will fly far away if you blow it with your mouth.
Seeing that Cesar had merely taken a fruit core, the old emperor and the Snake Walker Ancestor didn't react violently. Instead, the situation seemed to calm down slightly. Bloodbone, however, roared. That roar wasn't the furious roar of a wild beast, but the furious roar of a philosopher. A cacophony of complex emotions mingled on the corpse-eater's face, far beyond the range of its facial muscles' ability to express, resulting in an unsightly and eerie look.
That wasn't a facial expression a corpse-eater could make.
Though the old emperor and the serpent-walker ancestor had relented, their actions had already ripped the seal apart, tearing the dragon's flesh and blood. Its frozen body was being torn apart by two immense forces, its wings yanked straight out, leaving it like a miserable rag doll. Two greedy creatures clutched at the doll, each eager to claim their share.
At that moment, the right side of its body was tearing toward the Snake Walker Ancestor, while the left side was tearing toward the old emperor. Young Milava hadn't yet arrived with the consciousness of a true dragon to secure a share of life and existence for the ancient prophet, and these two were already planning to tear apart the legacy, each taking the largest portion.
"Cut off the dragon's head!" Cesar growled at the green snake. He held the hazy, gleaming core between his teeth, trying not to swallow it. His two wolf claws held the dragon's head tightly. "You cut it off. It doesn't matter how much you steal, but we're going to give the dragon's head to Milava. Do you hear me? Act now!"
"Command your orders, my master." The green snake hissed, unsheathing the longsword that held Alranti and stabbing it into the dragon's neck. Thinking she could seize her share of the chaos, her face lost its fear and instead took on a strange excitement. It seemed her people were all somewhat tainted with inhuman mental states.
At first, the Snake Walker Ancestor and the Old Emperor were still unaware, subconsciously believing that severing a dragon's head with a sharp blade was wishful thinking. However, a moment later, the sword had sliced through the dragon's scales like grease, even slicing its millstone-like neck in half.
Zawulon got a sharp blade that could easily cut through the flesh of his own people.
This action immediately infuriated the contenders present. Like a massive ship anchor, the remaining dragon's body suddenly accelerated towards the ground. Cesar gripped the dragon's hide with his front claws, but the back half of his body completely lifted off, and the green snake, now in human form, soared into the air along with Aya, about to be thrown far away.
With a resounding boom like the collapse of a tower, the remains of the true dragon slammed to the ground, unleashing a hurricane that blew dust and debris in all directions. The sealed rune rings were impacted, plunging into even more dire disorder. A chaotic storm of metal whirled through the air, each rune moving randomly, constantly shattering, colliding, disintegrating, and destroying everything in its path. Except for the innermost ring where they were, which remained relatively intact, the entire Black Mountain was torn apart by the storm, becoming like a shattered honeycomb.
The green snake finally floated back with Aya. Cesar ignored her mouthful of frost, having ate the dragon's flesh and blood, and told her to continue working. By the time the contenders had lifted and torn the dragon's remains apart again, the green snake had already severed its head. However, there was a gaping wound at the back of its head, and a large piece of its brain was missing, the sword wound clearly visible.
"I learned it from you." She licked the corner of her mouth, pinched her throat which was swollen as if she had swallowed a huge thing, and swallowed the soft substance with force.
Cesar naturally understood that this creature, having listened to his initial threats, had developed a subtle interest in opening the skull and eating the brain. This green snake appeared mature, but her consciousness and personality were not. She had simply spent too long in the maze of time, mastered too much hidden knowledge, and her speech was a series of one-liners. When it came to social behavior, she was still meticulously imitating and learning.
Seeing the snake walkers pointing their metal spears at him again, Cesar didn't want to worry too much. He bit the dragon's head and raised it up, facing the direction of the snake walkers' spears. It felt perfect - it could also be used as a shield before throwing it out. He has always been good at making use of everything he can use in the environment.
However, the snake
The attackers' movements slowed as a winged snake-dragon descended from the sky, carrying the life force of its offspring and breaking through the chaotic metal storm. A muscular old emperor, also covered in dragon scales, crushed the ground and leaped nearly a hundred meters in a single step. First, he smashed a series of runes, then leaped out again, about to step directly on him.
Cesar calmly bit the dragon's head, twisted its neck, and threw it with all his might, right in the direction where young Milava was rushing towards him. He didn't care whether he could catch it or not, and leaped out with the man and snake on his back.
The next moment, the remaining dragon behind him was torn in two. The headless fragment on the right was swooped down by the Serpent Walker Ancestor, carried a hundred meters away, and held it firmly in its two claws. Then it tore off the dragon's wings and began to bite. Old Milava trampled the headless fragment on the left, creating a huge bloody hole. The broken dragon's bones sank into the devastated rubble. Bathed in blood, he roared at Cesar, a roar that contained the roar of a dragon.
It was a truly horrific scene, like hyenas sharing a meal. Although Cesar was one of the hyenas, he couldn't help but wonder: which ending would be better, or truly growing up and falling into eternal stillness?
Having already given the dragon head to Milava and obtained the ancient knowledge and memories, Cesar didn't want to worry about anything else, let alone stay in this place for a moment. He held the light of memory tighter, pressing it against his upper jaw, intending to take it back for Diana to study.
It was absolutely impossible for him to accept this alluring memory. He had already known and witnessed most of the alternating personalities. He and Sevra were still relatively human, able to get along harmoniously. But Xue Gu and Jila Luo were truly horrible, completely losing their identity amidst the alternation of multiple consciousnesses.
Alante shouted at the remaining knights to form a line, casting spells as she struggled to resist the Bloodbone. She called out to Cesar to hurry and use her magic to lead them to safety. The young Milava quickly caught up with him. The dragon head had vanished, but the shadow of the real dragon behind him had regained some substance, spreading its slender wings and stirring up waves of air, a breathtaking sight.
"My bloodline, my school, - my fate in this tomb is about to end." Alanti floated towards him, her eyes flashing with excitement, "Tracing back to the roots of the Yesterlen School, the greatest knowledge is here, in your mouth, my dear. Compared to flesh and blood, they are the most important." She stretched out her hand to Cesar, as if wanting to stroke his jaw, "Let me see those lights -"
The sudden appearance of light sent Alanthi flying, but it didn't look like the kind of light Alanthi had hoped for. Before the creature could finish his words, he simply reached out and was catapulted into the air by a flash of a fist. Unlike the green snake, which had managed to hold its balance, this creature was hurled toward the rocks of Black Mountain. Despite the protective spell, it crashed into the rock face with a resounding thud, showering the ground with rocks.
Cesar glanced up and saw Aya standing up with a bright light in her eyes. The light was dazzling, like sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees, bursting out from her eyes and obscuring everything else. It was undoubtedly the Kuna martial arts that Jiralo had been teaching the mute girl.
However, Aya seemed unconscious, so why did she stand up? As he pondered, Cesar's upper jaw moved. To prevent someone from retrieving memories that shouldn't be retrieved?
Is this also a responsive spell?
"Don't think you can stop me, old man! You're dying! This little trick won't do anything!" Alante screamed. Cesar looked back at Zavulon's sword, finding it in the hands of the green snake. However, not only could she not restrain Alante with her sword, she had to hold it tightly, whispering a spell to suppress it. A powerful force pulled Zavulon's sword, urging it into Alante's own hands. If the sword fell into Alante's hands, he would lose all control over the creature.
This guy pretends that he can't resist because someone has a sword, but that's not the case.
Cesar could only lick the corner of his mouth. "Very good," he said, "I'm no longer surprised by your revealing your true form, Alante, but why so soon, and why at this critical moment?"
"Do you really think I'm going to hand myself over to you, to my rebellious descendants to study and observe, like dissecting a mortal slave?" Alanti floated upward until the blood and bones made room for her. "Compared to your empty and meaningless rhetoric, the picture of the ideological plague is far more brilliant than anything else."
She was smiling, a truly sinister and eerie smile, even stranger than the green snake behind him, which wasn't good at expressing itself. "I've sat by the fire with Milava and discussed philosophy. We've supported each other in times of helplessness. We've threatened each other, helped each other, and shared countless arguments and reconciliations, understandings and agreements. At the most dangerous moment, my life fell in his hands, and his in mine. We explored the world, to the very edge of the land, and then back again. Aren't these experiences longer and more complicated than the hypocritical negotiations you and I have been through? But even so, even so..."
All of this meant nothing to her. Born from the personalities and memories of more than ten generations of ancestors, she was a completely evil creature.
"
Even so, you still found a way out that belonged only to you." Cesar gripped the ground with his claws. "In the final analysis, you and old Milava both pledged allegiance to the Thought Plague, but one stood closer to the beasts, the other closer to the ancestors. When it comes to evil, even the beastmen can't match you, and when it comes to arrogance, our old emperor is on par with the Kuna..."
"Leave behind the memories and knowledge of the true dragon." Alanti extended her hand to him again, and a chill ran down the entire mountain. "I can let you return to reunite with your lover, Cesar, but you'd better not take anything you shouldn't."
Chapter 488 Your Ridiculous Rhetoric
"You think you have the situation under control?"
"The battle for the inheritance has been settled," Alanti raised his eyebrows. "Both sides have been slain by the plague of thought, and there will be no more conflict between the contending parties. As for the true dragon's memories in your hands, besides me and Blood and Bones, who else would want them? No one, my dear. Old Milava doesn't need them. He has already accepted power and flesh and blood, so how could he accept memories?"
