The clay spider was crushed into powder by the Golden Barrier just three inches in front of you.

"Afei," you said, flipping through the documents without looking up, "plant them at the entrance of Amegakure as decorations."

The man wearing the swirling mask suddenly emerged halfway from the floor. "Hey~ but I wanted to see Sister Konan fold paper cranes~"

Two pairs of scarlet Sharingan eyes lit up in the shadows of the corridor.

Uchiha Shisui leaned against the door frame and waved, the bandage under his headband fluttering in the wind. "Hey, Tanuki-sama! The proposal you requested, 'Using Genjutsu to Promote Harmonious Doctor-Patient Relationships,' is ready."

Itachi silently placed a stack of documents on his desk, with the top one titled "Ethical Review of the Sharingan Copying Surgery Procedure".

He glanced at Deidara, who was sculpting a chibi-style doll of himself with explosive clay in the corner, and sighed almost imperceptibly.

"Medical reform in the Land of Rain?" You tapped your finger on the table. "How about transplanting leukemia cells into critically ill patients?"

The documents Nohara Rin was holding scattered all over the floor. "Absolutely not! Last time you said you wanted to turn the wounded into Scorpion's puppets, that was outrageous enough!"

Tsunade slammed the sake bottle heavily onto the "Ninja Medical Insurance Fund Plan".

"Little Tanuki!" Her cheeks flushed with the effects of alcohol, she casually placed the "Kirigakure Seafood Trade Monopoly Plan" that Kisame had just handed her on a table leg. "Add another five percent to the casino's cut! And I'll help you appease Sunagakure's protests!"

Konan's paper spelled out the words "Yahiko & Nagato are away" in the air, and then a photograph fell down as if to complement it.

In the scene, Yahiko is directing Pain to carry a banner that reads "Congratulations, Lord Tanuki, on becoming the leader," while Nagato is squatting in a corner, carefully adjusting the angle of the banner.

"This is..." Your Eternal Kaleidoscope glows faintly.

"A surprise." Xiao Nan emphasized the word with a blank expression.

Kakuzu's trembling hand pressed two banknotes onto the desk.

"Overtime pay." His green eyes glistened with tears. "If you give me even one more penny, I'll go assassinate the daimyo of the Land of Fire..."

Kisame suddenly poked his head out of the window, "Boss! The Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki brat is here to challenge us again! This time he says he's going to blow up the Rainbow Bridge with a Tailed Beast Ball!"

Hidan immediately perked up, "Let me go! Let me go! I'll spread the gospel of Lord Jashin to—!"

Deidara's clay dragon has smashed through the ceiling! "Art is an explosion!"

"Give them all to me..."

Your Eternal Kaleidoscope suddenly bloomed, and the entire council hall was instantly enveloped by a golden barrier, freezing everyone into a comical, static image under absolute suppression.

Taking a deep breath, you grabbed Tsunade's sake bottle and took a swig. "I need to see the 'Feasibility Report on the Akatsuki Organization's Transformation into a Medical Charity Organization' in one hour."

"Now—get out!"

You slowly turn your head to look at Obito, who has somehow slipped back. "Is it too late to break the contract and join the Eye of the Moon Project?"

[Bad Ending] - Part 1 of "Martyrs"

The sound of falling snow is like the lingering echo of a world shattering.

The moment Madara Uchiha's fingertips touched your cheek, your blood froze into ice in your veins.

He saw the hideous hole in your chest, the edges still stained with the corrosive chakra of Black Zetsu, like a withered flower.

The snow falls on your eyelashes, not melting, as if even nature is acknowledging that this body has lost its warmth.

"Anagi...?"

His voice was hoarse and incoherent, and his fingers trembled as he stroked your cold face.

"Stop it...this isn't funny at all."

You clearly said you would wait for him to come back.

You clearly... hate people who break their promises the most.

Ban knelt in the snow, holding your body tightly in his arms.

His movements were almost reverently careful, his arm muscles tense to the point of trembling, yet he dared not exert any real force, as if you were merely asleep and that a slight tightening of the embrace would wake you.

"Blame me..."

His forehead rested on your shoulder, and his hot tears melted the snow off your clothes.

"I should have come back sooner... I should have..."

The choked sob that escaped Madara's throat sounded like the mournful cry of a wounded beast. When Izuna died, he could still sustain himself with the fury of revenge, but now...

Whom should he seek revenge against?

There isn't even one person in the world to whom he can vent his pain.

True despair... is when even the desire to destroy is drained away.

The snow is getting heavier.

Ban's tears fell on your face, mingling with the snowmelt as they slid down, as if you were crying too.

He carefully brushed the stray hairs from your forehead, and when his lips touched yours, he tasted blood and snow.

"Does it hurt..." he asked like a fool.

My heart has been hollowed out, how could it not hurt?

But you will never look at him with that helpless yet indulgent gaze again, never slap him when he loses control, never again...

Madara's chakra formed a barrier around him, isolating him from the wind and snow.

He stubbornly maintained the embrace, as if time would stand still forever if he didn't let go.

"Anagi..." His voice was so soft, as if he were afraid of disturbing a dream.

"In the next life..."

"We're not going to be Uchiha anymore..."

"Let's just be two ordinary people, okay..."

The wind and snow swallowed his pleas.

Madara sat with you in his arms in the snow, like two statues gradually being buried. His chakra unconsciously overflowed, freezing the falling snowflakes in mid-air, as if even time refused to move forward.

In the distance, the Nine-Tails' chakra violently clashed against the sealing scroll, but its master could no longer hear it.

The crisp sound of the teacup falling to the ground was like a death knell for some kind of ominous sign.

Mito Uzumaki's fingertips were still suspended in mid-air when the celadon cup she had just been holding shattered into sharp fragments on the ground. Scalding tea splashed onto her hem, spreading a dark stain on the deep red fabric like dried blood.

"I do not believe!"

Her roar shook the windowpanes, and her chakra went out of control, tearing the documents on the desk into scraps.

The kneeling figure, his forehead pressed against the floor, cold sweat soaking his back, had never seen the ever-elegant and composed daimyo display such a ferocious expression.

"Just back off."

Mito suddenly calmed down, her voice even more chilling than her previous rage. Anxi left the room as if granted a pardon, only to be stopped by a pair of hands that suddenly appeared at the corner of the corridor.

Hyuga Amane's Byakugan gleamed coldly in the shadows. "What did you say to the Daimyo?"

Her voice was soft, yet carried an undeniable pressure. She glanced at the silent Hinata Hatozaki behind her and whispered, "News has come from the Land of Fire... Tanuki was attacked and killed by an unknown creature."

The air solidified instantly.

Before Tenon could react, Hagiwara beside her suddenly began to tremble violently.

His long, slender fingers clenched tightly around his chest, his knuckles turning white from the force, as if something inside him was tearing at his heart.

"Brother?!"

Amidst Tenon's startled cry, Hagiwara suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Crimson liquid splattered on his snow-white clothes. His white eyes were bloodshot from the intense emotional turmoil, yet his gaze stubbornly remained fixed on the direction of the Land of Fire, as if he could see through the walls to the person he could never see again.

The woman who single-handedly defeated the entire Hagoromo clan on the battlefield, who silenced the daimyo of various nations at the negotiating table, and who freed him from the 'Caged Bird' trap... is dead?

Mito's chakra sensed the unusual activity in the corridor.

She slowly walked out of the room and saw Hyuga Hatozaki kneeling on the ground, blood constantly oozing from his bitten lips. Amane was frantically channeling chakra into him, but he pushed her away.

In the instant their eyes met, Mito saw in Hatozaki's eyes a madness identical to her own.

"She's dead." Mito's voice was as soft as a sigh, but her nails were already digging deeply into her palms.

Fresh blood dripped from between his fingers, mixing with the blood that Hatozaki had vomited on the ground, making it impossible to tell whose it was.

Seeing the terrifying expressions on their faces, Tianyin suddenly understood something.

Mito turned and walked towards the terrace, the wind whipping her long hair.

In the distance, towards the Land of Fire, dark clouds were gathering in an unnatural manner, with faint flashes of lightning—a sign of chakra running rampant to its limit, belonging to a man who had completely lost control.

"Pass the order."

She spoke into the void, her voice carrying a chilling quality that Tianyin had never heard before.

"I've gathered all the elite forces of the Land of Whirlpools; I'm going to personally see...my dearest friend off."

Hyuga Hatozaki staggered to his feet, wiping the blood from his lips. "The Hyuga clan... I'll follow."

The cherry blossoms in the Uchiha clan's territory bloomed out of season.

Pale petals fall on your eyelashes without trembling. You wear a brand-new assassin's robe, your black hair is tied up with a ribbon, and your pale fingers are crossed in front of your abdomen, as if you are just taking a short rest.

Madara placed you on a specially made puppet stand, with chakra threads wrapped around your joints, allowing you to 'walk' beside him as you did in life.

"Does A-Nagi want to eat red bean dumplings today?"

Ban asked softly, his fingertips brushing across your cold cheek, as if he didn't see the hole that pierced your heart.

Hashirama Senju's throat tightened, "Madara..."

Ban, however, seemed not to hear him. He walked straight to the chair by the window, carefully put you down, and even thoughtfully adjusted your position so that you could 'look' at the tribe's territory outside the window.

"Anagi wants to sunbathe."

He explained in a low voice, a gentle smile curving his lips, as if sharing a sweet secret.

Your body was completely wrapped in the assassin's robe, your pale face even had an eerie blood-red hue, as if you were just sleeping in his arms.

Ban's fingers would occasionally brush through your hair, as if checking if you were comfortable.

Tobirama Senju poked a hole in the document with the tip of his pen.

His gaze involuntarily fell on your clasped hands, which had once been able to form hand seals with ease and sever the throats of countless enemies, but now rested coldly on your knees, your fingernails turning an unnatural blue.

You are really dead.

This realization was like a dull knife, slowly stirring his internal organs.

"Uchiha Madara," Tobirama's voice was cold and hard as iron, "Do you even know what you're doing?"

Madara's Eternal Kaleidoscope slowly turned towards him, a mad yet calm light swirling in his eyes. "Of course I know."

He reached out and straightened your collar as if handling a fragile treasure, saying, "I'm with my wife."

Hashirama finally regained his voice.

"Madara! Elder Nagi is dead!" he practically roared, slamming his fist on the table, knocking over an ink bottle. "You should face reality!"

The air suddenly solidified.

Madara's chakra swept through the room like a storm, scattering documents everywhere and causing spiderweb-like cracks to appear in the windowpane. His face contorted for a moment, but then strangely calmed down when he looked down at you.

"Hashirama, you're too noisy."

He gently scolded you, his finger pressed against your lips as if afraid of disturbing your sleep.

"Anagi doesn't like loud noises."

The blood in Tobirama froze.

He saw Ban lean down and whisper in your ear, as if he were really listening to your response. He saw Ban occasionally adjust your position, as if you were just tired and needed a more comfortable rest.

Seeing the almost devout obsession in Madara Uchiha's eyes—

This man has completely lost his mind, but why... why does he find this scene so jarring?

As you left the council chamber, Ban carried you horizontally in his arms.

The setting sun cast long shadows of the two, merging them into a distorted whole. Passing Uchiha clansmen bowed respectfully to them, as if the clan leader's wife were still alive.
