His improved skills honed in the game have also significantly enhanced his dodging abilities, leaving him unharmed except for a few unlucky players who were injured by car debris.

"We must stop those aliens from attacking innocent people." Steve was temporarily relieved to see the response from the New York crowd, but the aliens were still wreaking havoc and they needed to stop them.

"Yes, Captain," Hawkeye replied, and the fighter jet accelerated to fire at the Chitauri aircraft.

Several aircraft were shot down unexpectedly, and at the same time Iron Man and Thor joined the battle, and most of the first wave of Chitauri were shot down.

However, this is just a drop in the ocean for these guys.

The second batch immediately rushed out of the portal, even more than the first batch.

"That's a lot! I should have made a grass-cutting game before so that ordinary people could practice." Fu You, who was hitching a ride on the plane, looked at the densely packed aircraft and realized for the first time how exciting it would be to see the grass-cutting game scenes in real life.

Hawkeye is indeed a very strong agent, and he's also a very good pilot.

But who knows, the enemy's plane shooting skills are pretty good too.

The Chitauri's aircraft were extremely agile, unlike Earth's aircraft which could not perform such maneuvers in the air.

Hawkeye's plane was shot down by several Chitauri using guerrilla tactics, leaving him no choice but to land on the ground.

The hatch opened, and the men had no choice but to come out and fight it themselves.

"Hawkeye, go shoot those guys down from the sky," Steve ordered Hawkeye, pointing to the enemy in the air.

Then he looked at Black Widow: "Let's go help the people on the ground."

“Fu You, you…” Steve paused, as if he had never seen Fu You fight before and was not sure about his combat strength.

"I still have some things to take care of, so I'll be leaving now." With that, Fu You slipped away.

Steve shook his head as he watched Fu You's departing figure.

Indeed, in such a battlefield, those without combat capability will only be sent to their deaths.

However, Steve was unaware that Fu You stopped after running to the corner not far away.

"Hey, Tony. Can you hear me?" Fu You connected to Tony's private communication.

“Okay, where did you go? We were in a team fight here,” Tony replied.

"It's nothing, I just need your help. I have a plan." Fu You activated the twin-tail bracelet.

1. As usual, I'm asking for all sorts of things.

2. I'll rush to finish the draft for you guys later, and try to get it out during the day. I was supposed to be working yesterday because of my exam, but my boss made me work an extra 4 hours today to make up for it. ...My plans are disrupted, but I'll still be able to work past midnight.

3. Regarding the readers who complained in the comments about my infrequent updates, I need to explain. After all, I'm not a full-time author; I have a job. Also, I have a lot of things to do at home. For example, this morning I spent the whole morning airing out the refrigerator and using a hairdryer to defrost ice. Updates might occasionally spike, so please bear with me. I'm under a lot of pressure too.

Chapter 88 Insufficient Faith, Younger Brother (2/3)

The Chitauri invasion has begun. Although the Avengers are trying to stop them, quite a few have managed to escape.

These escapees caused significant damage to New York, leaving the city in a state of chaos despite no deaths.

Just as a Chitauri was firing his aircraft, he suddenly felt something hit the aircraft and it jolted slightly. He couldn't help but turn around to look.

Peter Parker, Spider-Man and a beloved friend of New Yorkers, makes a dazzling appearance in his iconic red and blue suit.

The Chitauri was furious. Someone actually jumped onto his car, took off his mask to reveal a hideous face, and roared at Peter.

Then he got his face covered in spider silk.

"If you're ugly, don't scare people. Put your mask back on." Spider-Man nimbly dodged the Chitauri's wildly waving arms and simply put the mask back on his face.

The mask and spider silk stuck together, making it even harder for the Chitauri to see. Then he felt a sharp pain in his buttocks and was kicked to the ground.

“I’ll use your flying vehicle. Of course, I might not return it.” Peter skillfully seized a flying vehicle and began dealing with the other Chitauri.

It's probably because the Chitauri are simple-minded; their operating system is basically just a steering wheel, and Peter will be able to drive it very quickly.

"Wow! It's a pity there's no virtual air combat game. Trying it myself now is quite fun." Peter shot down several aircraft in a row and shouted excitedly in the air.

However, his actions were as conspicuous as pressing the kill button in Assassin's Creed, and soon several aircraft sweeping around the area spotted him.

Peter planned to use the same trick as before, using a web to catch the pursuers just like a spider catches insects, but after pressing the button, the web shooter only made a clicking sound.

"No way? It's gone again?" Peter looked at his web shooter with frustration.

He was just having a good time in class when the school suddenly exploded.

Amidst the commotion of cheering or screaming from the surrounding students, Peter sneaked out to stop the aliens attacking the school. However, he hadn't brought enough spider silk with him, and now that he'd run out, he was in a very awkward situation.

"The rest of the spare spider silk is on the side of my backpack in my locker at school, but I need to figure out how to get rid of these guys first," Peter thought as he dodged the attacks.

Suddenly, he remembered the skill of jumping down from a high place in the newly released game Assassin's Creed.

But he quickly shook his head: "That's in a game. In reality, how could someone jump from that height and fall into the straw and be perfectly fine?"

Peter had to stop the car as soon as he rounded the corner because another group of people was flying toward him from the other side.

The two groups surrounded Peter.

"Um...do you guys like pizza? If you can pretend nothing happened, I can treat you to pizza...though it might only be one slice." Surrounded, Peter raised his hand in fright.

Whether the Chitauri around him didn't understand or understood but got angry, everyone around him raised their guns and pointed them at Peter.

"Looks like I have no choice but to jump today..." Peter gritted his teeth and looked down, intending to find a place to land.

"Huh?" Peter was suddenly surprised to find that many handcarts loaded with straw had appeared on the streets of New York, and one of them was right below him.

"It seems all the necessary conditions for the experiment have been met." Peter said in a trembling voice. After all, even after being Spider-Man for so long, he had never tried jumping from a height of dozens of stories into a haystack.

The Chitauri around him pulled the trigger, and a rain of lasers shot out, instantly engulfing the aircraft Peter was in.

The thick smoke from the explosion blocked the Chitauri's vision, and they did not see that Peter had jumped off the aircraft.

"Oh shit! Faith! Faith! Faith!" The rapid feeling of weightlessness panicked Peter. There wasn't even a building around him that he could use as a foothold. He could only rely on a leap of faith.

"Thank you—" Peter trailed off as he fell from the sky into the haystack of the cart.

Clang—Crack—

With someone's impact, the handcart shattered into pieces, and the wheels flew far away.

“Ugh—” Peter, lying on the straw, almost couldn’t catch his breath: “Is it because it’s ineffective or because my faith isn’t strong enough… Thank goodness I’m not dead yet.”

Peter lay on his back on the haystack in a spider-like posture.

……

Turning their gaze to the other side, Fu You, who had broken away from the group, went directly to a relatively quiet underground level of a shopping mall.

Because the alien invaders have driven away all the customers here.

"Okay, that's fine." After transforming, Fu You equipped himself with his usual motion capture device and reconnected to Tony's communication.

"Tony, connect me to all the videos that can still be played within the affected area. I want to livestream."

"Live streaming now?" Tony exclaimed in surprise. "Is now the time to live stream? What are you planning to stream? Leveling up by fighting monsters?"

"I'm just trying to make sure that confused people understand what's going on." Fu You adjusted the equipment, loosening some of the tight parts.

"Anyway, you can just help me broadcast it live."

Tony sighed helplessly, wondering what kind of trouble Fu You was planning to cause.

“Okay, I’ll connect you. Jarvis.” In the end, Tony decided to let Fu You do it herself. Tony had always understood her amazing abilities; what if she could turn things around?

“Sir, the video connection is established,” Jarvis reported.

With Jarvis's report, the remaining communication equipment on the New York battlefield displayed the new type of broadcaster that had been the subject of much public discussion recently: Peco, a virtual broadcaster belonging to Stark Industries.

"Aloha, good afternoon, everyone!" Peco greeted the crowd watching from across New York on the screen.

Not only were the New Yorkers stunned, but even the Chitauri were dumbfounded.

"I'm sure many of you know me, so I won't go into further introductions. I'm here to launch the new expansion pack."

As they spoke, a string of subtitles appeared at the top of the screen: "The Chitauri Invasion."

"This is the first big event! Hooray!" Petal effects began to appear on the screen.

People in New York couldn't help but exclaim inwardly, "This isn't a game! This is reality!"

But Fu You seemed to have activated mind reading, pointing at the screen: "Your next sentence will be, 'This isn't a game! This is reality.'"

"Huh?" New Yorkers were a little dumbfounded when they encountered such an amazing move for the first time.

“I knew you’d say that.” Fu You smiled. “It’s alright, Stark Games has prepared the necessary equipment for everyone.”

Where no one could see, Fu You pressed a button on his bracelet that he hadn't used since the upgrade.

That's a modified part from the Player Driver in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.

Just like the effect of scene switching, rings of data flowed outwards from Fu You's feet.

These data no longer solidified like a scene change, but gradually covered most of New York.

The Chitauri people within the affected area felt nothing, but the New York City residents who were also affected felt something different.

A boy who was locked in a stalemate with the Chitauri sweeping across the ground suddenly felt his mind clear, and his movements became much more coordinated. As he stretched out his hand, he moved involuntarily.

A perfect combination of punches slammed the Chitauri into the wall, where he was stuck and couldn't be pried off.

"This is!" The boy looked at his hands in surprise: "Motion guidance?"

Fu You continued in the video, "This device is called... Virtual Reality."

1. Asking for something, as usual.

2. Although I boasted that I'd be up until midnight, today I experienced all sorts of things: my hairdryer burned the refrigerator at 7 am, the delivery person couldn't find my building, the food was delivered to the wrong address, I had to start work 4 hours early, and I worked non-stop from 4 pm to 11 am like a pancake. Even if Aqua were healing me, I wouldn't be able to move! I owe you one more chapter.

3. Finished writing, finally no sleep. Goodnight.

Chapter 8 The Fourth Calamity

As the number of Chitauri increased, the battle intensified.

Even schools have become battlefields.

Although the Avengers shot down many Chitauri, some ground troops still managed to slip through the gaps.

When Peter returned to school, he saw several Chitauri people planning to invade the school.

“I don’t know if Gwen is still at school. I have to stop these guys from getting in.” Peter ejected the magazine from his web-shooter, which was now completely empty, and prepared to engage in close combat.

Although he doesn't play very often, he is still a veteran player of the Batman trilogy.

"Should we assassinate these guys?" Peter wondered, perched on the wall not far from the Chitauri.

But before he could make a move, suddenly a series of azure blades appeared around the Chitauri, and with a piercing explosion and a cutting sound, the Chitauri were instantly turned into small pieces.

Peter opened his mouth in surprise. Huh? What happened?

Peter looked around but couldn't find any attackers.

"Maybe it's a superhero passing by?" Peter wondered.

Looking at the pile of corpses on the ground, Peter was certain he wouldn't crave steak or anything like that for at least a month.

"Forget it, let's find the equipment first." Peter shook his head, deciding to focus on finding the equipment first, since there were more and more aliens flying around these days.

After he left quickly, a figure in a blue trench coat emerged from a nearby alley.

She took her phone out of her pocket and answered it.

“Hey, Gwen.” Vishir called Gwen: “I’ve found your boyfriend, he’s alive and well.”

"That sounds weird... Hmm... There are a lot of aliens here. Since Peter's alright, why don't you come over and help me out?" Gwen's voice sounded chaotic, clearly indicating that she had inherited the Spider Family's ancestral skill of fighting and answering the phone.

"Oh." Vishir pressed the hang-up button expressionlessly, then put his phone back in his pocket.

“Ah…” Vishiel paused, “I forgot to ask where it is.”

She took out her phone again and thought about it, but ultimately decided against calling.

"Wow, what an unexpected bonus?" A voice suddenly came from the high-rise building.
