German Red Prince

The area around the building was deserted, with no other buildings nearby. This seemed somewhat strange in Frankfurt's prime real estate, the solitary building standing there appearing independent and mysterious.
Its exterior looks quite ordinary, and it's not much different from other buildings in the city.
The building is publicly claimed to be the headquarters of the City Management and Law Enforcement Bureau of the Kingdom of Rhine, responsible for managing city security and reducing the occurrence of terrorist attacks.
In the future, this department will be further subdivided into armed police and special police, but that's a story for another time.
Official name: Rhine Kingdom Urban Management and Law Enforcement Headquarters Building, abbreviated as "Urban Management Building".
Although it is an official department, only a small number of people can be seen coming and going each day, and the screening is very strict, prohibiting unauthorized personnel from entering.
Unlike other government departments, this place is not grand and spacious. The people inside are also very low-key, giving people a gloomy feeling. Various factors have shrouded this new department in mystery.
To everyone else, these urban management officers' daily work is simply to ensure urban safety.
For example, they direct city traffic, assist the police in managing city order, and maintain the city's appearance. However, some unsubstantiated rumors suggest that this group is not as simple as it seems.
Later, declassified archives revealed that this building was actually the headquarters of the Stasi and the Special Events Response Force before the German Revolution.
Thorne suggested to his father that a new department be established to deal with these terrorist attacks.
On Thorne's advice, Otto ordered the formation of this new urban management department.
Prince Otto appointed Thorne as the de facto head of the city management department, which surprised Thorne. He had thought he would only be able to manage one of the branches, but he did not expect his father to trust him so much.
This trust granted Thorne considerable power, allowing him to carry out his activities quickly and without being hindered by others.
But this also put a lot of pressure on Thorne, who had to be constantly vigilant and responsible.
Otherwise, if something unexpected happens, he would not only betray his father's trust, but Thorne would also feel extremely guilty.
The Stasi and special forces he formed are not separate entities; both belong to the special public incident handling branch of the urban management department. Thorne put them together for easier management.
After all, these will become famous in the future, and their names alone will be the talk of the town. The mysterious departments that appear extensively in various movies and novels are still in their infancy, just beginning to grow.
The Stasi were now under the leadership of Thomas and Heydrich, with Thomas responsible for training spies and collecting foreign intelligence.
Heydrich was in charge of internal affairs, oversaw the domestic environment, and eliminated any destabilizing factors lurking in the shadows.
Both of them were exceptionally capable, one inside and one outside, supporting Thorne's entire massive intelligence system.
Even Thorne privately praised the two: "When in doubt about foreign affairs, ask Hans (Thomas' nickname); when in doubt about domestic affairs, consult Halley (Heydrich's nickname)."
Fred is now the captain of the Red Right Hand Mobile Task Force.
This is the first special forces unit in all of Germany, and arguably the world.
The size of this unit is still very limited, with only about one hundred people.
The composition of the troops is also quite complex. The people in the troops are all elites selected from various troops in the entire Rhine Kingdom. They not only have to undergo physical screening, but also cultural screening.
These individuals had to undergo rigorous political vetting to ensure their loyalty and reliability, leaving them with absolutely no stain on their record. They also needed to be fluent in at least three foreign languages, proficient in radio and various types of machinery, and possess strong psychological resilience. This is why the entire army could only select such a limited number of people.
If Fred hadn't possessed a certain talent and hadn't diligently studied under Thorne's guidance every day, he might not have been able to manage this group of arrogant soldiers.
After all, those who can come here are all top-notch, and they are all elites. In any case, these people are among the top three in terms of ability and quality in their local army.
This force of less than a hundred men was a treasure in Thorne's eyes. So, in addition to the expenses paid by the kingdom, Thorne personally took out a large sum of money to subsidize this army.
He practically wore out his treasure chest in his efforts to gather the best equipment for this unit.
These people will become the future training team. They will not only be tested in various real combat situations, but also shoulder more important missions.
These people will become instructors in the future. The Stasi elite and the supplementary personnel of the special forces all need someone to guide them. They will train thousands of combat talents for Germany in the future.
As for Dudman, Thorne wasn't worried. He didn't need to worry too much about the guy; he was sure he would become a field marshal in the future.
These people are Thorne's only reliance at present; they are not large in number, but they are few and elite.
Thorne believed they would bring him unexpected surprises.
Heydrich looked at the assembled troops, each dressed in a jet-black uniform, with red armbands pinned to their arms that made the unit stand out from the crowd.
The weapons they carried were submachine guns personally issued by Thorne. Thorne's weapons for his forces were mostly specially supplied, which were perfect for this small but elite unit.
These people stood at attention, heads held high, chests puffed out, looking seriously at Heydrich standing in front of them.
Heydrich glanced at it and nodded in satisfaction. This was exactly the effect he wanted!
Before this, he didn't really know where he was, but now he could rest assured that this was the place he had always wanted to be.
"Let's go! Let those rats who only know how to hide in dark corners know that no matter how well they hide, they can't escape our eyes! I'll make those who only know how to carry out terrorist attacks tremble with fear whenever they hear our names from now on!"
Upon hearing Heydrich's words, the group tapped their boots together, making a crisp sound, and then set off in unison, disappearing into the night.
"dong dong dong"
"Who is it?" a man's voice came from inside the house.
"Open the door and check the water meter."
"Why are you checking the water meter? Didn't you say you were coming here?"
The man inside opened the door and complained that the water meter had been checked every day lately; this was the third time the door had been knocked on.
"It's getting cold lately, so you need to check the water meter frequently to see if it's frozen." That's the reply from outside.
He thought it would be the same as before, that the person who came would just check the situation. But when the door opened, the man who looked like a repairman smiled at him, which made him suddenly realize that something was wrong.
"you......"
The man reached into his clothes, about to shout something, when the repairman outside stepped back. Suddenly, several men wearing red armbands and black uniforms rushed in from both sides, snatched the gun from his hands, gagged him, and handcuffed his hands.
They took the man aside, leaving one person to guard him, while the rest continued walking into the house with their guns.
"Oh!"
The door to the room was smashed open, and the man inside was asleep. He was caught before he could even react.
"Who are you people! I'm calling the police! Why are you arresting me! Why are you arresting me!"
The man was pinned to the bed, but he was still roaring hysterically.
"Who are you people! You've broken into my home! Let me go, I'm calling the police!"
"Comprehensive law enforcement."
Standing to the side, Heydrich pulled out his ID and said coldly.
"You know why we arrested you. You bought the goods from Gust, right?"
The man who was still struggling widened his eyes after hearing him say "Gust" and stopped resisting.
"Discovered? How is that possible!"
"Thinking you've done a good job, huh?" Heydrich sneered. "Take him away!"
The house was cordoned off with police tape and a sign that read "Comprehensive Law Enforcement." Several armed men stood guard, their serious expressions sending chills down the spines of the onlookers.
"Look what's going on here?" the onlookers whispered among themselves.
"Who knows? Things are getting more and more turbulent these days." The person next to him sighed. "We'll just have to live our lives peacefully."
"Yes, yes, all I want is a peaceful life. If Charlemagne were still alive, that would be wonderful." The man sighed, reminiscing about the Rhine Kingdom under Charlemagne's rule, an era that countless Rhine people longed for.
Heydrich emerged from the room, followed by men escorting the prisoners captured in the operation. The prisoners were wearing hoods, and those around them did not recognize them.
"If you're going to arrest someone, why pull their pants down halfway?"
"You don't understand, do you? The head of the urban management department is His Highness Thorne."
"Oh, that makes sense then."
It seems the rumors about Thorne liking to strip people have spread, and there's no way to clear his name now. If Thorne had been there, he probably would have died by now.
"Damn it, how come I'm always dragged into these things? Wasn't taking off half of my pants just to prevent them from escaping?"
"I'm sorry to have disturbed you all, you can leave now," Heydrich said to the crowd.
"It's not convenient to talk about the specifics right now, but you'll find out in a few days. We'll let you know."
After saying that, he put the prisoners into the car and left.
"Huh? That's it? They didn't even say why?" Everyone was dumbfounded as they watched Heydrich's convoy drive away.
They left without giving any reason? Who did they arrest? The police need a reason to arrest someone.
"What, what's going on?"
"I don't know, I only know he's very handsome."
Seeing the group of people swooning over him, the man could only roll his eyes. "So, being handsome means you can just grab people whenever you want, huh?"
Heydrich took these people to the Stasi's private interrogation room deep inside the building, a place beyond the reach of the law, where no humanitarian talk would be given.
"Hamond, should I speak or you speak?" Heydrich asked, sitting in his chair.
"I have plenty of time to waste with you."
There was a large lamp on the interrogation table, shining directly on Hammond, so bright that he couldn't open his eyes and could only squint.
He couldn't even see Heydrich interrogating him; he was hooded before he could even see the other man's face when he was arrested.
Landers was tied to the side, firmly secured to a bed, his face obscured. Water from a pipe dripped onto his forehead every two seconds from above.
At first he could hold on, but after a while he couldn't take it anymore and started to tremble. He went from struggling to screaming in agony.
Hammond swallowed hard as he heard Landers' screams gradually weaken and eventually turn into soft sobs.
Where is he now? How was he arrested? Why do these people know about his connection to Gust?
Hammond's mind was in complete disarray; he couldn't think straight here.
"Why are your eyes closed? Am I not pretty? Open your eyes!"
Because of the bright light, Hammond could only squint as he heard Heydrich's words, when someone next to him struck him with a stick.
"Open your eyes wide, or I'll slap you."
"Why don't you turn off the lights? Who wants to know if you look good or not!" Hammond cursed inwardly.
He had to keep his eyes wide open; if he closed them even slightly, the people next to him would mercilessly remind him with a stick.
The intense light caused his eyes to water incessantly, and he felt as if he was slowly losing his sight.
These people in black are terrifying.
Hammond was exhausted after an unknown amount of time, but the people around him were still watching him. He couldn't take it anymore; he had reached his physical limit.
"I'll talk, I'll talk," he said weakly to Heydrich, sitting in his chair.
"Don't rush." Heydrich smiled knowingly.
He had his men untie Landers and put him on a chair. After such a long period of torture, Landers was already somewhat delirious, his eyes were unfocused, and his hands were trembling.
"Snapped"
Heydrich turned off the lights. After such a long period of stimulation, Hammond was now plunged into complete darkness when the lights were suddenly turned off.
"Let's play a game."
Heydrich pulled out a revolver and placed it on the table.
"There's a bullet in here. Let's see which of you can give me a satisfactory answer. Randes isn't feeling well right now, so take a break. You go first."
He pointed the gun at Hammond. "Now, let's begin."
“I killed Gust. He was an arms dealer. We bought guns to resell to others, but he sold us defective guns. I killed him to get revenge.”
"Boom."
The firing pin was fired, but no bullet was fired, and Hammond's face turned pale with fright.
“One should be honest; I don’t like hearing lies.” Heydrich shook his head, slightly disappointed. “Looks like you’re in luck.”
He then turned to Landers, "Are you feeling better? Tell me?"
"I, I, I..."
"Thump!" Another shot was fired, but it still failed to fire.
"I don't like people who dawdle. Please wait a bit longer."
Two shots were fired and there were no bullets left. Hammond swallowed hard and began to tremble.
“We are members of the Unity of Germany party, and we’re buying guns from him.”
"Anything else?"
