"Don't take it so seriously. I was just joking. It's okay to use it as a table leg support."

Nicolas Flamel smiled. The second layer of the cabinet, which originally held the Philosopher's Stone, now contained several small bottles filled with blood-red liquid.

"These are the elixir of life, and the formula for it."

Nicolas Flamel took a bottle and a small piece of paper and handed them to Adam.

As Adam stared with wide eyes, Nicolas Flamel smiled:

"The existence of the Philosopher's Stone is not a well-kept secret for many people. Although your connection with the Philosopher's Stone is very weak and Dumbledore may not be able to discover it, I have been with the Philosopher's Stone day and night for more than 600 years."

"Don't worry, don't worry that an old man like me, who won't live for many days, will reveal your secret."

"This seems to be a symbol, child. One Philosopher's Stone is destroyed, and another Philosopher's Stone is born immediately. An old couple gives up the Philosopher's Stone and embraces death. The Philosopher's Stone reappears in the world in the hands of a child..."

"At the same time, this seems to confirm my guess. The success of the Philosopher's Stone is really just a coincidence. But it doesn't seem so coincidental, right? This world is so wonderful."

After handing the elixir and the formula to Adam, Nicolas Flamel said:

"Take this, child. I hope you will not repeat my mistakes and use the life that the Philosopher's Stone has given you for things that you find meaningful."

Chapter 48: The End of Nicolas Flamel

On the third shelf of the cabinet was another very thick book. Nicolas Flamel asked Adam to take it down from the cabinet and put it on the table.

“This is a contact book.”

Nicolas Flamel patted the cover of the book with a hint of nostalgia on his face:

"I heard from Emma that you've just come into contact with the wizarding world, but you should have seen those portraits that can move and talk in Hogwarts, right? Although there are not many, I still made some friends. Some of them were afraid that our lives would be too lonely, so they gave me their portraits."

"It's a pity that I, your elder, have to leave after only meeting you a few times, so I give this book to you, hoping that the friends in the book can provide some help in your life on behalf of Perenelle and me."

Nicolas Flamel nudges the book in Adam's direction:

"Every wizard in this book was once a legend. Their lives were far more exciting than those of an old man like me who has wasted half his life. These portraits took a lot of effort on their part. Although they are not real people, they have the same thinking ability as they do. When you feel lost, you can try to seek help from them - don't be shy, I have already told them about this."

Adam swallowed and touched the cover:

"Are your portraits and your wife's portraits also in this book?"

"I'm sorry, son, we didn't have time to make our own portraits."

"Then maybe I could have a picture of you guys?"

Nicolas Flamel was stunned, and reached out to touch Adam's head:

"of course."

Then Nicolas Flamel seemed to suddenly remember something:

"By the way, the owners of the last two portraits in this book are still alive. If you encounter any danger or problem, you can try to contact them through the portraits - if they have their own portraits with them."

"Two portraits...who are they?"

"One of them is your headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, and the other is also a boy from Hogwarts, you may have heard of his name, his name is Newt Scamander."

Senior Newt?!

Adam's eyes lit up.

Unaware of Adam's mental activity, Nicolas Flamel took Adam back to the sofa.

"And here is this. Take it, child, and open it."

Nicolas Flamel handed Adam a piece of parchment that looked a little old.

Adam unfolded the parchment, which was covered with dense handwriting.

what is this?

"Including this one under our feet. Here are the addresses of my 192 properties around the world. Each one is protected by the Fidelius Charm. I give them to you."

Nicolas Flamel said lightly.

While traveling around the world with his wife, in order to ensure safety, he did not choose to stay in hotels, but instead bought a property directly in each place he arrived at - he was not short of money anyway.

Nicolas Flamel then waved his hand over the parchment, marking a few scattered addresses in red, and added:

"These addresses marked in red are known by others besides Perenelle and me."

No need for too many reminders, one sentence is enough.

Adam nodded, rerolled the parchment and put it away.

Nicolas Flamel's last legacy was a key.

"This is the key to Gringotts Vault 4."

Nicolas Flamel took the key from his pocket and placed it in Adam's hand.

"There's no gold galleons or anything like that in there, but I don't think you'll need it."

Nicolas Flamel smiled at the new owner of the Philosopher's Stone:

"After you open the secret vault, you will see papers that fill up half of it. Those are the manuscripts of my life-long research on alchemy and magic. If you are not interested in them, please donate them to Beauxbatons, my and Perenelle's alma mater."

"The remaining half of the secret vault is filled with some of my collections or inventions... Most of them are not valuable, but they are quite interesting. I hope you like them."

Saying so much in one breath, telling stories and giving away inheritance, obviously put a great burden on Nicolas Flamel, but looking at his shining eyes, he should be very excited.

After giving Adam the last key, Nicolas Flamel let him go back and refused Adam's request to attend their funeral.

"We don't plan to hold a funeral. After meeting you, I have said everything I wanted to say goodbye to. At the end of our lives, please let us enjoy the quiet world of two of us."

For the Flamel couple, they chose the date of their own death, so they were very calm when dealing with their funeral affairs. They could even say goodbye to everyone they wanted to say goodbye to, so there was no need for a funeral.

After telling Adam the date of his death and where his grave would be, and giving Adam a photo of him and his wife as he had promised, Nicolas Flamel closed the door.

Adam stared at the door in a daze. He knew that this was the last time he would see Nicolas Flamel.

"What happened to Adam?"

While eating the cake, Xiaoke looked at Adam and couldn't help asking Sibi beside him.

"If you ask me, who should I ask?"

Sibi rolled his eyes:

"Why don't you put down your fork and ask?"

"I won't! Otherwise you will definitely eat all the remaining cake at once!"

"You are slandering!"

Hearing the noise of the two sealed beasts making a fuss, Adam came back to his senses and couldn't help laughing as he looked at the furry balls fighting each other.

The story of Nicolas Flamel has come to a successful conclusion, but his story has just begun, hasn't it?

"Justice from heaven!"

A cat who is a little too big for the energy-saving Xiao Ke and Spi joined the battlefield.

……

"Hey! Adam! Over here!"

The energetic Colon is always the most active one in the dormitory, and Adam heard his call as soon as he arrived at the airport.

When we got there, Bernard and Colon were already there. Colon was accompanied by a lady, but there was no one beside Bernard.

"My parents have clients who have made appointments long ago, and it's not convenient for two ordinary people like them to go."

Sure enough, it was similar to Adam’s consideration.

"Adam, long time no see~ My parents are also busy, this is my sister Kelly, this is the Adam I mentioned~"

"Hello."

Kelly looked Adam up and down, obviously curious about this roommate who was very magical in her brother's words.

"Hello."

After politely greeting Kelly, Adam also introduced his grandfather - perhaps because Emma was a little upset about the Flamel couple's matter, she did not come with Adam.

"Now only Eugene is left...Oh! Here he comes!"

Cologne just stretched out his hand and greeted him, then he was surprised:

"Eugene's outfit... wow~"

"haven't seen you for a long time."

Wearing an expedition suit that looked like something you'd see in a movie, carrying a large backpack, and leading an old woman dressed similarly, Eugene walked over and nodded to everyone:

"My parents are not available, this is my grandmother."

"Hello everyone."

Eugene's grandmother looks very kind, and from Eugene's personality one can roughly guess what kind of person this grandmother who raised him is.

Everyone in the group arrived, but as expected, the plane was delayed.

"Would you guys like something to eat?"

At lunch time, Adam opened his backpack, which had been expanded with the wheel card, and took out a bunch of packed rice balls:

“There are four flavors: teriyaki eel, black pepper beef, honey barbecued pork, and vegetable mayonnaise~”

Chapter 49 Journey to Egypt

The generous portion of beef without any fishy smell and the rice with the right softness and hardness collide between the lips and teeth.

The rice steamed with vegetable juice provides nutrition without affecting the pleasure of eating meat. The perfect black pepper sauce adds a soul-like embellishment to the rice balls.

All the ingredients of the rice ball are perfectly mixed together to compose an intoxicating symphony of food.

"Mmm! Mmmmm--"

After swallowing a large mouthful of black pepper beef rice ball, Kelly patted her brother's shoulder excitedly:

"You're right! Adam's cooking skills are amazing - will he really open a shop in Hogsmeade? When?"

"Hey, Kelly, stop tapping my shoulder! The rice balls are going to break up! At least wait until after graduation!"

"Hey, why can't you graduate right away?"

Kelly sighed regretfully.

Eugene and his grandmother both love fish, and teriyaki eel rice balls, which are sweet and bone-free, are very much to their liking.

"Oh my god Adam, your cooking skills are even better than your parents!"

It was also the first time for Old Reed to eat food made by his grandson.

"It's a pity that underage wizards can't cast spells at home, otherwise I could make more delicious food."

Adam sighed. It was a pity that his parents' home was not listed as a wizard residence by the Ministry of Magic. Otherwise, it wouldn't matter if he cast spells at home.

"It's a shame Uther isn't here."

Cologne sighed regretfully:

"Come to think of it, when we go to Egypt, do we have to eat Egyptian food? I don't think it will be as delicious as what Adam cooks."

"But at least it's Egyptian. I'm looking forward to it."

Time passed quickly as everyone was chatting, and the plane that was two hours late finally arrived at Cairo International Airport three hours later.

"Here~"

Adam and his family's flight information was no secret to Uther's family, so they were waiting at the airport early.

The five people in the dormitory successfully met together!

"Ah, so Uther you dress like this at home."

Cologne looked at Uther and sighed.
