The days at Hogwarts

Neville was riding his broom on the grass, flying happily. No one was at the same height as him, and his feet could almost touch the slightly higher grass on the ground.
Loren was already able to take off and land expertly, but he didn't know anything else. He could only move slowly at one altitude and in one direction, almost at a jogging speed.
Although Ron was not as agile as Harry, he was also good. The two of them flew back and forth in the air, playing and laughing happily.
"Loren! Are you playing the snail in the sky?" Ron passed by Loren again, taunting him by doing a 360° spiral up and down, left and right, and front and back.
Loren was not annoyed. He had already accepted his role as a novice broom driver: "Flying is not about speed. If you don't fly properly, your loved ones will shed tears."
After that, he started muttering to himself something weird like don't drive if you're drunk, and don't drive if you're drunk.
Ron didn't understand and flew away with Harry.
Hermione's situation was a little better than Loren's. The little witch had no talent in flying, but she liked the feeling of being a real witch.
Hermione flew over from behind Loren and slowed down to the same speed as Loren: "Flying is not an important subject. It doesn't matter if you are not good at it."
The little witch's face was flushed from exercise, and the sunlight was reflected in her eyes, making them bright.
“Do you like flying?”
"Well, I guess this is just like how I imagined wizards would be."
"So do you like Quidditch?"
“I don’t really like it, I don’t understand it, and it feels a bit barbaric.”
The two people's brooms were not too close or too far away, flying slowly forward at the same speed, chatting occasionally. Loren felt that such sun, such wind and the fragrance of grass were just right for such a scene.
"In fact, when I first discovered that I had no talent for flying, I felt very sad. I couldn't get full marks in this course, and I couldn't be like Professor McGonagall."
"But, seeing you and Neville, I feel like I can enjoy flying a little bit." The little witch squinted her eyes and felt the wind blowing towards her.
Loren looked over and saw Hermione's hair floating in the wind: "You don't sound like you are praising me."
Hermione opened her eyes, and they looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh.
……
Evening, Gryffindor Common Room.
Seamus leaned in front of Ron and Harry with a sad face, "Smell it, do I still smell like garlic?"
Seamus was attacked by evil dark magic in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. He was in a state of depression during lunch. After the flying class in the afternoon, he hurried back to take a shower, which took several hours. Neville brought him dinner.
Harry took a quick sniff and could still smell the garlic, so he quickly moved away: "I think there's more."
After being tortured for a whole day, Ximo almost cried: "I have washed it three times."
Hermione looked up from a Ravenclaw's Defense Against the Dark Arts notes. "Why don't you try Clean Up?"
Ron nodded in agreement and said loudly, "Yeah, that's the same spell my mum used to use all the time."
[Clean Up] As the best cleaning spell, it is popular among many housewives, but they are in the first grade and have not learned this spell yet.
Simo thought it was a good idea and planned to ask for help from senior students. He was a little hesitant about who to ask, and several people around him gave suggestions.
At this time, Loren came back to the lounge from outside. He walked up to Hermione and whispered in her ear, "Hermione, come with me."
Hermione didn't know what was going on, but she nodded and followed Loren out of the common room.
No one noticed that Ron was still loudly advising Seamus: "Don't go to George and Fred, they will add the smell of shit to you..."
Loren took Hermione to the 8th floor, in front of the painting of the troll beating up the stupid Barnabas.
The corridor was dark, and Hermione unconsciously lowered her voice and whispered, "Loren, why did you bring me here?"
Loren didn't answer. Hermione watched him pace back and forth in front of the painting. She tugged at Loren's sleeve and moved closer. "What are you doing? Curfew is coming soon. Let's go back."
"Okay!" Loren also lowered his voice and looked up at the wall in front of him.
Only then did Hermione notice that a black door had appeared on the wall at some point.
"Is this some new secret passage? It leads to..." Before Hermione could finish her question, Loren opened the door and pulled her in.
"Here!" Hermione opened her mouth in surprise. The sofa, TV, and paintings on the wall were the same as at home.
There is also an avalanche strawberry cake with candles on it on the coffee table.
Hermione's eyes suddenly turned red. No one in school knew her birthday, and her parents, who usually accompanied her, were not here. She didn't think about her birthday this year.
I was still a little disappointed when I got up this morning, but a friend helped me reserve a seat, and I took my time in the flying lesson, so I was very happy throughout the whole day.
She didn't expect that someone would remember her birthday and prepare such a scene.
It was the first time for a 12-year-old child to be away from home for such a long time. Hermione suddenly thought of her parents and tears fell like beads.
She went forward and hugged Loren, muttering: "Thank you, thank you..."
The fresh scent of the girl entered his nose. Loren was a little at a loss. Feeling the trembling girl in his arms, he comforted her: "Blow out the candles first!"
Hermione then raised her head, and opened her eyes wide, trying to take in the scene before her.
After a while, Hermione ate her strawberry cake and looked around the room in amazement: "So it can manifest the scenes in our minds according to our needs?!"
No one will fail to be moved by the magic of the Room of Requirement, which represents people's most essential longing for magic - whatever you ask for will be granted.
"There are limitations. You can't conjure up food, and some things are just appearances, just like this TV can't be turned on."
"There is also a hidden room here. There are many precious manuscripts in it. I will take you to see it later..."
The two visited the hidden room, and Loren showed her Miranda Goshawk's manuscript.
"Her family environment doesn't look very good, she must be a strong witch." said Hermione.
Hermione was curious about everything here. She had some guesses about the Room of Requirement, and the two chatted until very late.
When I went back, the moonlight shone through the window onto the corridor, like a field of white flowers...
Everyone! If you are watching, please give me a shout!
It's too painful to play alone. If I write something bad, please feel free to humiliate me loudly.
Chapter 37 Sad Potions Class
In the Potions class.
Snape's calm tone may sound hypnotic after listening to it for a long time, but no student dared to sleep in Professor Snape's class.
Today's teaching content is the properties and applications of bezoars. Hermione buried her head and wrote densely in her notebook, trying to fit all the knowledge points into the notebook.
Loren had basically mastered the content of this part. Less than five minutes into the class, Loren's mind was no longer in the classroom. He recalled the conversation he had with Flamel last night.
……
"What exactly is the salvation of desperate souls!" Loren gritted his teeth as he looked at the figure floating in the air.
Riddlers are the most annoying. Before, Nico ran away after finishing his riddle, but now Flamel can't escape.
Flamel spread his hands, looking helpless, "I'm sorry Loren, Nico didn't give me any memory of this, you have to explore it yourself..."
Back in the Potions classroom, Loren muttered to himself.
It should be someone who can save the desperate soul, but who can it be?
The people who died in the later battle with the Death Eaters? It shouldn't be that simple.
Ollivander? Snape? None of them.
It is impossible to redeem Voldemort. With his weak arms and legs, it would be hard to tell who would be the one to suffer the most when facing Voldemort.
Hermione looked at Loren next to her. He had his hands under the table, his eyes empty, staring blankly ahead, and it was obvious that he was not paying attention to the class.
As a good deskmate, of course she should promptly persuade her classmates to study hard. She was about to speak, but then she remembered something and felt embarrassed.
"Could it be because of what happened last night? It's all my fault for being too curious about the wizards' manuscripts and staying up too late chatting with Loren."
The little witch was adding to her own drama, and Snape on the stage also noticed that Loren was obviously distracted.
Snape stopped lecturing and walked behind Loren with a stern face.
The classroom suddenly became quiet and all eyes turned to Loren.
Hermione wanted to reach out and wake up her distracted classmate, but Snape stared at her with eyes like a dead fish. The little witch felt like she was meeting the gaze of some kind of snake, which stares at you intently without any emotion. She was so scared that she dared not move.
In every class, Snape would pull out a Gryffindor student and scold him, then find an excuse to deduct points. Neville had been scolded to tears several times.
Every time they have Potions class, the little Gryffindor lions are always in danger.
Except for Hermione and Loren, these two people can basically answer all the questions and make potions without making mistakes.
Harry and his classmates sighed, but cheered in their hearts: Great! Loren is the one who is unlucky today, so they should be safe.
“Some people, when they happen to accomplish something, become complacent and self-righteous.”
Snape was talking about Peter Pettigrew, but the case was too broad, it had been too long, and some procedures had not been completed, so it had not been announced to the public.
Only a few people in Loren's dormitory knew about this, and they did not tell anyone under Loren's warning (intimidation) in the name of Dumbledore.
The students all thought that Snape was referring to the fact that Loren and Hermione performed perfectly in class and had never been caught wrong.
"But, in Potions class, you have to follow my rules!"
Snape raised his hand, straightened his sleeves, and hit Loren hard on the back of his head.
"Mr. Morgan, answer my question!"
Loren, who was in the center of the storm, was suddenly hit on the back of the head and was a little startled, but it didn't hurt much, and the old hand was not panicked at all.
"If your friend Harry is poisoned and you don't have a prepared antidote, what should you do?"
Harry in the front row felt very innocent and said, "Thank you for taking me with you."
"I think we should ask the professors for help, Professor Snape."
Hermione's eyes went dark, and she wanted to pull Loren's collar and yell: What are you doing! This is Potions class!
Loren was very proud, wow, perfect answer.
If a classmate is poisoned, the first thing to do is to report it to the teacher. If the victim is Harry, reporting it to Dumbledore first is definitely the best option.
Snape's face darkened: "No Professor, you handle it yourself!"
Hermione thought Loren must not be paying attention to the class, so she reminded Loren in what she thought was a very quiet voice: "Beggar, beeggar."
Loren sighed in his heart, what a silly witch.
"Put a piece of fecal stone in your throat. Fecal stone has a good detoxifying effect on some common poisons, but for poisons that are too strong, other materials need to be added to prepare a more powerful antidote."
Snape said nothing and returned to the stage: "Miss Granger may think she knows everything, but this cannot be a reason for you to disrupt the class."
"Five points from Gryffindor for Miss Know-It-All."
None of the little Gryffindor lions cared about the deduction. Professor Snape would always find opportunities to deduct points from Gryffindor. They were used to it, and Hermione had earned much more points than this.
Hermione felt a little aggrieved, but she did do something tricky. Loren obviously knew the answer, and she was being too smart for her own good. In the end, she could only blame herself for the mistake.
This result obviously did not make Hermione feel good, and the more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt.
By the end of the get out of class, Loren could tell that her voice had a distinct nasal tone.
"Loren Morgan, come to me after dinner." Snape felt a little annoyed when he thought of the conversation with Dumbledore.
Dumbledore was also a riddle man. He talked to him for most of the day, talking about love, family, and a lot of other things, but the last sentence was the key point: "Loren needs your help. For the sake of an old man like me, please help him."
If Loren knew what Snape was thinking, he would definitely agree. Older people like this tune.
……
Loren and his group accompanied Hermione in the corridor, and everyone noticed that Hermione was in a bad mood.
Harry couldn't stand it any longer. He was targeted the most and felt that he had the right to speak. "Hermione, don't take it too seriously. Snape always has reasons to deduct points. It's just that you were unlucky this time."
Lauren was actually wondering how much Dumbledore had told Snape, but there were obviously more important things to do at the moment. "Indeed, you have earned enough points for him to deduct several times."
Neville said, "I thought it was Loren's turn this time."
Ron was indignant. "I think Dumbledore should have banned the old bat from deducting points from Gryffindor."
Some people think that if points are deducted, it’s normal.
The little witch obviously had no intention of going along with this group of people. She sniffed and said, "I have to go add another three inches to my Transfiguration homework. I hope Professor McGonagall can give me some extra points." After that, she quickly walked away towards the library.
Ron looked at the receding figure and murmured, "Didn't Professor McGonagall only ask for 3 inches?"
Loren smacked his lips, this is the King of Rolls!
