The days at Hogwarts

Ron yelled at the top of his lungs, snot and tears streaming down his face.
He rushed towards the troll, hoping to attract its attention so that his friends could escape.
"Come on, you bastard!"
The foul stench emanating from the giant monster was roasted by the flames into another strange, burnt smell.
But Ron didn't notice anything now. The red-haired Weasley kicked the troll's feet like a madman. He wanted to cause some damage to the troll.
The fists and feet hit the troll's thick skin like hammering on stone, with no effect at all.
Ron was quickly kicked by the troll and flew out, hitting the wall and falling down.
He curled up into a ball, holding his stomach and not moving. He was in so much pain that he couldn't cry out, and bright red blood flowed from his mouth.
Even if I risk my life, I still can't do anything. I'm a waste...
Chapter 49: Halloween Night Closing
Hermione cried quietly, and in such an environment, even her crying had to be suppressed.
Harry's scar prickled slightly and his pupils dilated slightly.
It was as if my ears had sunk into the sea; Hermione's cries and the troll's footsteps became very far away, as if I were listening to the sound of waves underwater. The world became quiet, and everyone else's movements slowed down.
He looked at Ron curled up against the wall and remembered the scene when he saw his family at the train station. They were a noisy family with red hair. It was really interesting.
He watched the troll slowly raise the stick. The texture of the muscles on his forearm, the gaps between the troll's nails, the black dirt on the stick, every detail seemed to be imprinted in his mind.
What a huge monster.
Am I as big as his thumb?
There should be.
The scene of the troll slowly approaching reminded Harry of the time when he was chased by Dudley and his gang in the Muggle school.
I run every time, I run every time, but actually I don’t really want to escape.
Harry felt his muscles loosen their tension and relax.
Bend slightly, bend your knees, and sprint.
He couldn't think of any magic that could solve the current situation, so he could only use what he had always wanted to try when he was being chased - rush into those people's faces!
Before Harry knew what to do when he rushed in front of the troll, his body had already given him the answer.
Like a Bowtruckle climbing a giant tree, Harry moved as if he were climbing a gray-green hill. He nimbly climbed up the troll's waist, dodged the troll's hands, dodged the waving sticks, and rode on the troll's head.
He saw a look of panic in the troll's scarlet eyes.
Harry stretched his shoulders, bent his arms, clenched his fists, and did what Harry had always wanted to do to many people, and punched it hard on the nose.
"Roar!" the giant howled. The punch obviously didn't do any damage, but the giant felt as if something on his body was broken, and he was filled with great panic.
The troll was enraged by the little thing on his head, and it wanted to crush it and smash it to pieces. One hand grabbed Harry's leg and raised it in front of him, and the other hand was about to hit Harry.
"Do something!" Harry shouted, his voice muffled by the congestion in his head due to being hung upside down.
Shadows floated in Loren's eyes, and a blue light lit up from his pupils and spread to the entire eyeball.
In his field of vision, the troll's skin glowed slightly brown, and there was a black, mottled mark on its nose where Harry had punched it.
That's its weakness!
"Hu~" Loren controlled himself and stopped his trembling breath, "Do something."
In his mind, the spell that had been distorted by [Open Door] became clear. He squeezed the strength from every part of his body and poured it into the wand.
Loren heard his own voice:
"[Thunderbolt Piercing]"
A fiery red light emanated from the tip of the wand, shooting straight at the black mark on the troll's nose.
boom!
The red light entered through the nose and shot out from the back of the head, making a loud explosion.
A fist-sized black hole was blown into the troll's brain. His body swayed twice before he fell backwards stiffly.
Harry fell to the ground and cried out in pain, but he seemed to be fine.
Loren pulled a satisfied smile from the corner of his mouth. After casting the spell, he couldn't move a finger. His head was splitting, as if he hadn't slept for three days and three nights. It felt like there were drops of wind oil in his eyes, and it was so cold that he fell down.
He was lying on the ground, vaguely seeing Dumbledore and others coming in, Hermione crying and throwing herself into Professor McGonagall's arms, and Percy walking towards the curled-up Ron...
The world fell into darkness.
Ron's voice: "Run!"
Harry's voice: "Do something!"
Finally, Hermione's voice: "Loren, Loren!"
The sound seemed to be in his ears, but also in a dream. Loren felt limp all over and didn't want to wake up.
I opened my eyes and saw the bright lights, which caused some stinging in my eyes.
There are three beds, white sheets and cabinets in the school infirmary, and it is shiny and clean.
Loren lay in the middle, Ron slept on the innermost, and Harry was near the door.
Harry was counting the squares on the window. "788, 789, 781..."
Loren sat up straight, "Did you realize that you counted wrong?" His voice was hoarse.
Harry exclaimed in surprise: "Thank God, I'm not alone anymore."
Loren drank from the kettle on the bedside table, feeling gravel in his throat.
Harry happily told Lauren what he knew. He woke up early the next morning, and Lauren slept for a day and a night. Ron had broken several ribs and his internal organs were damaged, but Madam Pomfrey said he would be fine in a week.
"But Ron hasn't woken up yet." Harry's voice was a little low.
Harry stayed in bed all day with nothing to do. He felt that he was completely well, but Madam Pomfrey would not allow him to be discharged from the hospital or get out of bed to move around.
Harry kept mumbling:
"Hermione will come after class. Madam Pomfrey said that talking to you would wake you up earlier. Hermione has called your name thousands of times."
"Professor Dumbledore will come over tonight, and he needs to ask you more about the situation."
"That spell of yours is so cool, it can actually penetrate the troll's head!"
At this point, Harry asked, "Why not use it sooner?"
Loren could tell that there was no accusation in these words, just pure doubt.
Loren looked at Harry, "My spell only works because of you."
"Me?" Harry recalled the scene. "I was in a strange state at the time. I rushed over without thinking."
"That's weird, why would I rush up there?"
Only then did Harry notice the difference. "And Ron, he seemed a little strange at the time, too."
Before the two could come to a conclusion, Madam Pomfrey pushed the door open.
"Lie down! And keep quiet!" she yelled at Harry.
Harry didn't dare to resist, so he shut up and lay down obediently.
Madam Pomfrey fed Lauren a mint-flavored potion.
After drinking it, Loren felt his head cool and comfortable, and his body warm and comfortable.
"You have almost drained your magic power!" Pomfrey looked at Loren seriously, "This is a very serious matter for a young wizard!"
Although her tone was stern, there was tender concern in Madam Pomfrey's eyes.
Without giving Loren time to answer, she continued, "If it weren't at Hogwarts, this might cause your magic to go out of control and you would never be able to perform magic again."
"Have a good rest and don't make any noise!" Madam Pomfrey said and went out.
Watching the doctor close the door, Harry sat up, "I think we have--"
"Quiet!" Madam Pomfrey shouted from outside.
Harry curled his lips and counted slowly towards the window again, "1, 2, 3..."
In the evening, Hermione came with Dumbledore.
The little witch changed into a clean and tidy Gryffindor robe, long white socks and small leather shoes. Her cute appearance did not reveal the majestic look of her when she was waving her wand to block the troll.
When Hermione walked in, she saw Loren sitting up, grinning, revealing her two white front teeth, and there was a look of joy in her eyes.
"Loren!" Hermione called happily, and then took out a notebook from her bag, "I have written down the notes of these classes in my notebook. You can refer to my notes and ask me if you don't understand."
"Thank you!" Loren was speechless. He took the notebook and looked at Dumbledore behind Hermione.
Dumbledore had a gentle smile on his face. He did not interrupt his friend's meeting. He spoke only when Loren looked at him. "You always see things that others cannot see. I want to see your perspective."
The white-bearded principal took out a bag of candy from the sleeves of his white robe and said, "No one would refuse a friend who brings candy to visit a patient."
"Yeah!" Harry cheered, and Loren began to share his perspective of that night.
…When Harry was about to be hammered, Loren’s innate vision was activated, and he saw that the troll was covered with a brown barrier, with only the black mark left by Harry on its nose. Loren cast a spell along that mark…
"Also, I vaguely saw red light on Harry and Ron." This is what Loren saw before he fell into a coma.
Chapter 50 Magical Riot
Black mark.
Dumbledore thought about this and looked at Harry's scar, his eyes becoming deep.
Voldemort's influence on Harry was deeper than he thought, and the connection between the two seemed closer.
He suspected that the black mark that broke the troll's skin was the result of Harry inadvertently using the power left in the scar by Voldemort.
Dumbledore had some thoughts about the scar, but he didn't show it on his face. Perhaps he should make some changes to his plan regarding Quirrell.
“A wonderful encounter!”
Dumbledore turned to look at Hermione, Ron, and Harry in turn and praised: "Wisdom, sacrifice, courage, even if I only listen to your retelling, I can see the brilliance of these qualities."
Harry and Hermione blushed when they heard this.
Loren tutted, unimpressed, "Are there any rewards?"
Dumbledore did not respond to this question and looked into Loren's eyes. "I have an unclear guess about the strange light you saw."
Several people looked at Dumbledore curiously.
"A wizard's magic is closely related to his soul and emotions. I think that when you first discovered that you were unusual, your emotions were also unusual."
Harry recalled some of his own magical experiences, such as being chased by Dudley and his gang, and flying up the chimney. In the zoo, he wanted to give Dudley a little help, so he made the glass disappear and released the python.
Hermione recalled that when she was a child, she would read fairy tales and when she came to an exciting part, she would be so excited that her whole body would float up along with the book.
Loren thought of his magical eyes. He felt that his awakening of magic started from his eyes.
Dumbledore waited quietly for them to wake up from their memories, and then said, "The soul of the little wizard is not very stable. When his emotions are turbulent, his magic is more likely to riot."
Generally speaking, young wizards below the third grade are at the lowest level, and their magic power is not enough to cast even slightly more advanced spells.
As they grow older, senior students can be exposed to more complex spells that require higher magic power, such as Patronus and Apparition. In addition to the wizard's understanding of magic, magic power is also a limiting factor.
Adult wizards vary too much from one another to be categorized.
There is a gap between ordinary wizards and Aurors, a gap between Aurors and Hogwarts professors, a gap between dueling champions like Flitwick and professors like Quirrell, and above that is a realm where only a few people exist.
The growth of magic power is not just a simple quantitative relationship, it is not how many spells a young wizard can cast and how many spells an adult wizard can cast.
There is also a quality issue. Different qualities of magic power can cast the same magic with completely different effects. There are many factors involved, and no one can explain it clearly.
When Loren is playing around, he can release [Open Door] continuously for a long time. When fighting a giant monster, he can be hollowed out by just one flame.
Loren asked: "Principal Dumbledore, why can emotions promote the growth of magic?"
"I don't know, Loren." Dumbledore ran a hand through his beard.
This answer surprised several people. There was something that the famous Dumbledore didn't know.
