The days at Hogwarts

Snape had it there, there was no doubt about that.
Chapter 64 Sincerity is the eternal nirvana
In the Transfiguration Classroom.
Hermione sat in the front row, listening attentively and taking meticulous notes.
Ron was at the back, occasionally hearing a sentence or two, but most of the time his mind was wandering off to who knows where.
Harry rested his head on the table, his fingers twisting the red button pendant hanging around his neck, grinning like a fool.
Loren couldn't concentrate on the class. Looking at Harry's silly smile, he felt like his conscience was being tortured. It was too tormenting.
Without waiting for this to be over, next week, next week I will really ask Snape for something of Harry's mother, a photo or something.
"The more difficult the Transfiguration, the more magical power is required." Professor McGonagall said on the podium.
Ron pricked up his ears when he heard the word related to magic.
After the troll incident, the magic power of several people increased to varying degrees, and some elementary spells became more handy. Transfiguration class, spell class and even Quirrell's Defense Against the Dark Arts class, many practical related contents became much easier.
Ron thought that his magic power would increase the most and become the most powerful, but after a period of time, the result was not as Ron expected.
Loren practiced with Hermione on weekends. He had a natural talent for correcting spells. He practiced with Flamel in the Book of Fantasy twice a week. He made rapid progress and was able to use basic spells skillfully.
Hermione had a solid theoretical knowledge and had taught herself many spells. With Loren's guidance, she was better than many second-year students.
Harry is simply gifted. He doesn't like studying very much and his theoretical knowledge is just so-so, but once he gets his hands on a wand, he can always cast a spell quickly.
Ron was a little depressed. What kind of monsters were around him? But he was talented, his magic power increased, and after changing his wand, he no longer felt inferior. His level was higher than most first-year students.
After Professor McGonagall finished her theoretical knowledge, she asked the students to turn the matchbox into a snuff box. She said, "This is related to your final exam!"
Hermione gathered her strength and focused all her efforts on the matchbox in front of her, and soon produced a snuff box.
The little witch thought it was not that simple, so she added various hollow patterns and illustrations of various colors to the snuff box.
Loren's mouth twitched. "Okay, it's up to you to improve the class average." He conjured up an ordinary snuff box and continued to slack off without trying again.
Harry and Ron also got the hang of it quickly.
Seamus tried cautiously, the people around him, all old classmates, kept their distance from him.
Success will not disappoint anyone who works hard. After unremitting efforts, Simo finally -
boom!
He blew himself up again and his face turned black.
"Hahaha!" Dean laughed the loudest, and the other little wizards also laughed happily.
This scene is always there when Seamus is around. It has happened in Transfiguration class, Defense Against the Dark Arts class, and Charms class. Seamus will not miss any opportunity.
After the explosion, everyone felt relieved and moved closer to Simo again.
Ron leaned forward, with a proud tone: "Listen to me, don't wave too hard when waving the magic spell, just lift it lightly, and draw a circle, you know?"
"Oh!" Seamus cried, "Ron Weasley, are you going to change your name to Ron Granger? You're even more annoying than Hermione ever was."
"Even more annoying than Malfoy!" Dean added.
Malfoy is the most hated person among Gryffindor wizards, tied with Professor Snape.
The original Hermione always did this kind of thing, and it was changed after the troll incident, and she only taught others when others asked for advice.
This was not the first time Ron had done this. He felt a sense of satisfaction from directing other people's behavior in a condescending tone, which made people feel uncomfortable.
"I, I..." Ron apologized angrily, "I'm sorry."
"You said the same thing in last class." Neville said weakly.
The atmosphere was a little tense, and Ron sat back down next to Harry.
"I, I just couldn't help it." Ron realized that he had become the person he hated.
After Harry finished turning the snuff box into a snuff box, he continued to play with the red button, grinning, "No one will remember it. Isn't Hermione our friend now?"
Ron nodded, "I'll try."
Every time Harry played with the buttons and every time he smiled foolishly, he was torturing Loren's conscience. Loren felt more and more that his behavior of lying about someone else's mother was very bad, worse than any prank he had ever played before, and the flames of guilt consumed Loren.
I am such a piece of shit. Loren decided to go to Snape this Friday to ask for the real thing. If he continued like this, Loren would want to slap himself twice every time Harry smiled.
……
In Potions class.
Snape was writing on the blackboard the process of taking the Water of Life and Death, and the students below were taking notes as fast as Snape was writing.
What Snape wrote on the blackboard was different from what was in the textbook. If you did your homework according to what was in the textbook instead of what Snape wrote on the blackboard, you would be in trouble.
The last person to do this was Michael Corner, who ended up copying the blackboard notes for that class a hundred times.
Snape finished writing and began to explain the theoretical part according to the blackboard. Snape always lectured in a calm tone, with all words sounding the same.
Harry could force himself to listen at first, but after a while his eyes began to wander, his mind drifting away.
He unconsciously put his hand on his chest and pinched the red glass button, thinking about the appearance of his mother in the Mirror of Erised, and thinking about how this button had once been on his mother. It was as if his mother was accompanying him now.
What a sin! Loren couldn't bear to watch this scene. His conscience began to hurt again and he wanted to slap himself twice.
Snape was standing on the podium and immediately saw the silly grinning Harry. He stood out among the serious students. No student had ever laughed happily in his class.
Snape walked down the podium, and as usual, his next step was to roll up his sleeves and slap Harry on the head, asking him to stand up and answer questions that were slightly beyond the scope, and then deduct a few points from Gryffindor.
The students below were also very familiar with this process, and they all looked at Snape expectantly.
Both Gryffindor and Slytherin were looking forward to it. Slytherin was looking forward to their headmaster showing off his power, and Gryffindor was looking forward to Professor Snape getting angry at others, so that the others would be safe for the rest of the class.
Snape walked all the way to Harry, looking at the silly smile on his face, and his hands were itching. Just as he was about to do it, he saw Harry playing with the red glass button in his hand, and he was silent for a moment.
He knew that button well, and the other green one was in his pocket.
Snape couldn't understand why Harry was pinching the buttons with such an indescribable expression.
He turned his head, looked at Loren with a complicated expression, and returned to the podium to continue his lecture.
No points deducted? The other students were very surprised. Did Professor Snape change his personality?
Loren could understand what Snape meant. Snape was asking: What did you do?
Loren couldn't answer, his conscience was being tortured.Tonight, tonight was going to find Snape.
Chapter 65 A Newcomer Comes to the Woods
On the road from the castle to Hagrid's hut, Loren and his three companions shivered as they moved forward in the cold wind.
There were no classes in the afternoon, so Harry didn't continue to torture Loren's conscience. They decided to take this opportunity to visit Hagrid.
There is a fireplace in the castle, and perhaps some warming magic, so it is very warm inside the castle. Now the few people can truly experience the winter in Hogwarts.
The four of them put their hands in their sleeves and held them in front of their bodies. Most of their faces were hidden in their scarves, covering the part below their eyes.
"Ugh!" Ron sighed. "Why are we going to visit Hagrid in this cold weather?"
Harry tensed up. "We haven't been here since the snow. Hagrid must have missed us."
Hermione's teeth chattered. "Hagrid has to guard the Forbidden Forest. We can't leave him alone."
Loren missed the fur blanket in his box. He didn't pay attention to it at the time, but now he thought it was an alchemical item that could keep out the wind and keep warm. He didn't need a bonfire on the snowy mountains at night. Nico took it to set up a stall and wrap books, and it eventually fell into his hands.
What a mistake. I will definitely bring it with me next time I go out.
After walking into the woods, it's a short walk to Hagrid's hut.
Click, click!
Harry stretched out his trembling neck and looked around. "Did you hear any sound?"
"The wind," Ron muttered.
The four of them continued walking forward.
"squeak!"
A huge spider suddenly jumped out from behind the tree in front and hissed at the few people.
Ron's eyes were about to pop out of his sockets. He had been afraid of spiders since he was a child, let alone such a terrifying monster.
The giant spider was about the same size as Hagrid, with thick black hair all over its body. Next to the huge eye on its head were six slightly smaller white eyes, and its claws made a clearly audible clicking sound.
"Acromantula!" Loren recognized it at a glance with such obvious features.
Loren pulled Hermione, Harry pulled Ron, and the four of them quickly retreated, not wanting to have any contact with such a dangerous magical creature.
Harry felt that Ron was as stiff as if he were under a binding spell.
But the giant spider kept staring at the direction of the four people's footsteps, and it was targeting this group of little wizards.
"We're friends of Hagrid, let's go!"
Loren backed away and spoke tentatively.
Acromantulas are able to communicate, and their intelligence is not much lower than that of humans.
"Humans have awakened my hibernation, and you will pay the price for it!" The voice of the eight-eyed giant spider was so distorted that it was impossible to tell whether it was male or female. Its head was always facing the direction of the four people.
"[Legs stand stiff and dead]"
"[Burning flames]"
Loren and Hermione took their positions and cast spells one after another.
Loren's communication was just a test, he never believed in the beast. Hermione was familiar with Loren's spellcasting, so she reacted quickly and followed suit.
Harry also quickly added a [Petrify All] move, and only Ron was still standing there in a daze.
The Leg-Locking Curse hit the Acromantula, immediately binding five of its eight legs together, leaving the spider balancing on only three legs. Hermione's Fire Curse ignited the black hair on the spider's body, and the flames quickly spread all over its body. Finally, the spider fell to the ground under the effect of the Binding Curse.
The group slowly retreated while observing the situation. Compared to the giant monster with thick skin and almost immune to magic, the controllable eight-eyed giant spider seemed less scary. Except for Ron, the others were not so panicked.
After the flame burned all the black hair on the giant spider's body, it failed to ignite its limbs and quickly went out. The eight-eyed giant spider also broke free from the binding spell and the leg-locking spell.
"Go to hell!" The eight-eyed giant spider shook its limbs and crawled towards the few people quickly with a clattering sound.
Loren, Hermione and Harry pointed their wands at the eight-eyed giant spider, but before they could chant the spell, a dull sound suddenly came from the woods.
Boom!Boom!Boom!
Swish! A huge figure rushed out from the bushes, leaving a small groove-like scratch on the snow, and Yaya followed behind.
"Hagrid!" cried Harry delightedly.
Hagrid was huge, and he came running at Harry without even looking at him, charging at the Acromantula.
Bang, bang, bang, a series of loud noises. Hagrid knocked down seven or eight trees in a row with the giant spider before he stopped.
Harry and the other three hurried over to check what was going on.
The eight-eyed giant spider fell to the ground, most of its limbs were smashed, several large holes were broken in its abdomen, and white spider web mucus sprayed out and condensed into sticky balls and silk webs. It didn't even have time to scream.
"Hey, are you all right?" Hagrid asked in a muffled voice, a little out of breath, and his fur coat was torn.
The scene just now was too shocking, and Loren and Hermione had not yet recovered. One was a huge spider monster, and the other was a huge humanoid warrior. A simple, direct, and clean collision quickly resolved the battle.
It was totally different from any magical battle they had ever imagined. No wonder Hagrid could live in the Forbidden Forest. There were not many people in the entire forest who could withstand such a brutal attack.
Ron was stunned from beginning to end. It was the first time he had seen such a big spider and his brain was still frozen.
Harry shook his head. "How did you know we were here?"
Hagrid started talking about the situation. Fang suddenly became manic and barked anxiously, pulling Hagrid outside. When they were nearby, Hagrid saw the situation of Harry and the others. He was too worried and rushed over in a hurry.
"Why is there a giant eight-eyed spider on the edge of the Forbidden Forest? It just said that someone woke it up from hibernation." Hermione wanted to know the reason. Something was wrong today.
Hagrid said with some sadness, "These are Aragog's children. They should stay in their nests during the winter. No one in the forest will bother them."
The seven-eyed giant spiders are the children of his friend Aragog. When he saw Harry was in danger just now, he didn't care about anything else for a moment. Now he feels sorry for Aragog.
"There must be other people with bad intentions entering the depths of the Forbidden Forest." Loren reminded.
Quirrell's body was much weaker than at the beginning of this semester. It was probably because they went into the forest to look for blood and disturbed the hibernating eight-eyed giant spider.
"Come with me to the house and warm up first," Hagrid called a few people and said as they walked, "I will go and notify the centaur tribe in the evening."
