The days at Hogwarts

Loren understood this mentality. It was not to suppress anyone or prove who was better than the other. It was like two good friends walking on the road. If one of them suddenly jumped up and touched a leaf, the other would want to touch a higher leaf. It was a strange competitive mentality that was unique to friends.
Ron remained silent, waiting to see how many mistakes he had made in his Transfiguration homework.
"Um……"
Lauren finished marking Ron's homework and looked at Harry's silly smile. He didn't know how to persuade this silly boy. "Let's wait for Hermione to come back and ask for her opinion."
Loren did not expose Ron. If he exposed Ron, both of them would lose their happiness. However, if he chose to keep it a secret, both of them would continue to be happy. In order to maximize happiness, he finally chose to keep it a secret.
There was still some time before lights out when Hermione slowly came back from outside the common room. When she saw the three people sitting together, her eyes lit up and she ran over to them in small steps, her soft brown curly hair bouncing with her steps.
Hermione sat down next to Loren swiftly, "I can also use the honey jar to hold pebbles!" The little witch was happy about the progress of her traceless stretch spell.
Before Loren could say anything, Harry said, "Hermione, we have an idea for you."
Several people told Hermione about the idea that playing chess could help Hermione relieve her mood.
Hermione pondered for a while, it seems that striving to be the best in everything is not a right hobby, but she is used to doing it. When she was in Muggle school, she had conflicts with her classmates because of these things. It was not until she met Loren at Hogwarts that she was not isolated, and she also made a group of friends who could accept her personality.
"Okay!" Hermione agreed. Regardless of whether it was useful or not, she would just treat it as a leisure game after practicing spells.
Finding the chessboard, Ron used chess pieces that were passed down from his family and were older than him. Harry hesitated for a long time before letting Hermione use his brand new chess pieces.
"Knights, move forward."
"Queen, kill it."
……
The game was deadlocked for a long time, until the end, when both sides had almost exchanged their chess pieces, Ron won with a slight advantage.
Hermione frowned slightly, having a strange feeling that whenever she made a bad move, Ron would make a similarly bad move within a few moves, which led to the stalemate.
Harry was eager to try. In his opinion, there were several opportunities that he could seize and win.
"My turn, my turn!" Harry squeezed Ron to sit in his seat and turned the chessboard around. He used brand new pieces and let Hermione use Ron's old pieces.
Hermione hesitantly started a new game with Harry.
The situation is horrific.
Hermione had just finished a game and was in great shape. Harry had been playing the baby chess that Ron fed him these days, and his level was getting lower and lower.
"Checkmate." Hermione played without feeling anything and ended the game easily.
Harry stared with his mouth open in disbelief at the endgame on the chessboard.
Looking at Hermione opposite him, and then turning around to look at Ron next to him, this is different from what I thought. Harry had a big question mark in his head.
"Chess pieces, Hermione used your chess pieces to beat me, and they are a little bit disobedient to your command." Ron hurriedly spoke to fool Harry. He couldn't let such a good sparring partner understand.
"Is that so?" Harry asked doubtfully.
It's just a matter of winning or losing a game of wizard chess. What's so special about that? Hermione looked at the two men in confusion, then turned to Loren, her eyes expressing "Is there something I don't know about you?"
Loren ignored the big liar and the one who was deceived and crippled, and pulled Hermione's sleeve to the window.
Outside the window, the clouds in the sky were filled with the light of the moon and stars. In the distant forest, there were sparse lights of fire. They were the bonfires of the centaur tribe.
"Chasing after the first place and being strong are not bad habits that need to be changed." Loren looked into the distance.
Hermione knew that he was talking about what happened just now. She rested her head on the windowsill with her hands, and the light from the sky and the forest was reflected in her brown eyes. "Maybe if you change it, you'll be more sociable." Her tone was cheerful.
“You don’t have to change yourself to fit in, just be yourself.”
"Hermione is Hermione, the know-it-all lady who gets an O on every assignment and who seizes every opportunity to catch up with me in the Traceless Stretching Charm. She is such a strong-willed Hermione." Loren looked at the stars around him.
"Yeah." Hermione looked at the firelight against the blue background.
Chapter 90 Harry: Snape wants to harm me!
Today is a rare good day. The dark blue in the clouds is washed away by the clear sunlight, revealing a white color like cotton. The sun is hidden in the clouds, emitting a slightly bright light.
The daylight shone into the Charms classroom through the window, making Professor Flitwick's white beard shine.
Professor Flitwick was standing on a pile of thick books, barely supporting himself on the desk, but this did not affect his lively lecture at all.
"The unlocking spell is a classic spell. Around the 17th century, the wizard Elden Esrickel learned this spell from an old African wizard and brought it back to England. From then on, [Open Alaho] replaced the long-standing [Open Sesame] and became the classic unlocking spell."
The young wizards chattered to each other, traveling to mysterious and backward countries to bring back spells that would change the magical world. This experience felt fresh to them.
"I also want to study in Africa after graduation." Simo leaned his hands on the desk, as if he was about to leave.
"It is said that they don't ride brooms, but something called flying carpets." All Harry knew about Quidditch was from Quidditch: The Magic Ball.
"I wish I could be like this Esrickel and discover the magic spell passed down from generation to generation. They would write my name in textbooks and draw my name on chocolate frog pictures." Ron looked up, already imagining such a scene.
As long as his mind is not on the chessboard, he is still a childish and attention-seeking eleven-year-old boy.
Hermione couldn't help rolling her eyes. "If you had done any prep, you wouldn't have said something like 'I want to be like Esrickel'."
Professor Flitwick's voice sounded at the right time, "Of course, Esrickel became a notorious thief and was sentenced to more than ten years in prison..."
Ron shut his mouth. He didn't want to become a thief.
"The Unlocking Spell also indirectly contributed to the invention and popularity of the Locking Spell. As corresponding spells, we will learn these two spells at the same time..."
After the interesting part, Professor Flitwick began to talk about the boring history of spells, their influence, and the relevant laws and regulations.
The young wizards hate this part of the content the most. They can accept it more if Professor Binns teaches it because they can sleep in the History of Magic class, but not in the Charms class.
Professor Flitwick began to chant a long list of theoretical knowledge, and the people below began to distract themselves.
Some people stared at Professor Flitwick, who was giving a lecture, without focusing their eyes. Others stared at the Standard Book of Spells: Elementary on the table, looking at the name of the author, Miranda Goshawk, and trying to draw flowers out of the letters.
Only a few young wizards who were close to Professor Flitwick were forced to listen to the class seriously.
To the right of the podium, Loren and his group sat there, killing time in boredom, folding the corners of books, and drawing messy shapes on parchment. Only Hermione was comparing the preview content and taking notes seriously.
Loren thought about the magic runes that isolated the space in his mind, and his little hands unconsciously folded the corner of the book into a curl, and then smoothed it out. After repeating this several times, he finally pulled off the corner of the page.
He looked around and found that no one was paying attention to him, so he put the torn piece of paper back to its original place, "【Repaired as before】"
He turned the page and looked at it from front to back. Loren nodded with satisfaction. Very good, just like new.
Next to him, Harry was talking to Ron about the Quidditch tournament, where the Gryffindor team would play against the Hufflepuff team next.
"As long as we win this game, our points will surpass Slytherin and win the house cup." Harry suppressed his excitement and voice.
"This is the first time in seven years!" Ron exclaimed.
"Ah."
Loren joked, "Harry Potter, the youngest seeker in history, helped Gryffindor lift the trophy in his first year. Your name will be circulated among the young wizards every year after that, and there will be a section in the book Hogwarts: A History that Hermione reads that specifically records your deeds."
Such compliments made Harry feel a little embarrassed, and an uncontrollable smile appeared on the corners of his mouth.
Even his mood improved, and after returning to school the next school year, he had nightmares for two consecutive nights.
It started with Mom and Dad disappearing in a sudden green light, and there was a loud voice laughing strangely. There seemed to be some scenes of a castle in the trees afterwards, but he couldn't remember the details.
I have no classes this afternoon and the weather is very good, so it's a good day for team training.
After dinner, Harry hadn't rested in the common room for long before he was dragged to training by Wood.
People go there happily and with smiles, and come back exhausted at night.
The twins and Harry came back together, supporting each other.
It was rare to see the twins, who were always full of energy, exhausted. Their hair was wet with sweat and stuck to their scalps. Their faces were pale and looked extremely embarrassed. The three of them lay on the soft chair for a long time, not wanting to move a finger.
People gathered around and asked what had happened.
The three of them didn't have the energy to answer their questions and rested for a long time before they recovered.
"It's terrible. I don't think I'm as tired as I am today in my two years of Quidditch combined." George complained weakly.
"Me too. Wood is crazy about winning the championship. He is becoming a training maniac," Fred echoed.
Harry was younger than them and was a little malnourished before coming to Hogwarts. After half a day of high-intensity exercise, his voice became even weaker. "Although I am very tired, I support Wood. Only in this way can we defeat the Slytherin team in the College Cup Championship."
"Yes, at the cost of our lives," groaned George.
"Come on George, we should go take a shower."
The two of them stood up tremblingly, supporting each other and walked away.
With Ron's support, Harry went to wash up slowly and steadily.
Loren clicked his tongue and said, “Young Harry, even if you come last in Quidditch, there will still be free points at the end of the semester that will make you the champion.”
Hermione couldn't stand Loren's mischief and slapped him on the arm.
The horrific training continued. The twins were miserable, but Harry enjoyed it.
In the Potions class on Friday morning, Snape seemed to remember that he had not deducted points before the holiday, and in this first Potions class of the next school year, he deducted 20 points from Gryffindor in one go, which was equivalent to a month's worth of points in the past.
The reasons were: the potion made by Neville was pink, the potion made by Eloise Midgen was purple, and Harry and Ron at the table next to them did not remind them when they made mistakes.
After class, a group of Gryffindors walked along the corridor beside the courtyard.
"Damn it! This old bat just wants to maintain Slytherin's house cup by deducting Gryffindor's points." If Snape appeared in front of Ron now, he would definitely spit on Snape's greasy head.
Loren breathed in the slightly moist air. Seeing Snape so angry, he guessed that Dumbledore might have teased Snape. Harry regarded Snape as a suspect in stealing the Philosopher's Stone, and Snape was so angry that he implicated Gryffindor.
Neville lowered his head, his mood was as bad as the gloomy and cloudy weather outside.
Gryffindor lost points because of him again. He was the reason Snape used the most to lose points. His friends were also deducted points because of him. The gloomy sky made Neville feel a little breathless.
The snow had not yet melted and the cold wind was howling outside the castle.
"That's why we have to win in front of them!" Harry said loudly. He was inspired to punch those Slytherin guys in the face with the house cup.
As if in response to Harry's words, heavy rain began to fall outside. The weather in the UK is always so unstable. It was sunny and bright the previous two days.
Loren looked at the heavy rain, "Someone's training is going to be in vain."
To Harry's surprise, he was dragged away by the twins at the door of the Gryffindor common room.
George and Fred each said:
"Let's go, our Seeker."
"Wood said that we can't stop training even if it's rainy."
The two cried out in unison: "Poor Quidditch players!"
The three disappeared from Loren and the others' sight.
At noon, the three of them reappeared at the long table in the restaurant, all soaked.
The twins looked very tired, stuffing bread and steak into their mouths expressionlessly. Under the table, the corners of the magic robe left a series of water marks on the floor.
Harry was the same, except that he looked less depressed and was eating actively. He was happy to train on rainy days, which helped win the game.
In addition, Harry also found that every time he finished training and was exhausted, he always slept soundly and did not have nightmares.
Hermione strongly objected to such behavior. She raised her eyebrows and reprimanded several people, "You will catch a cold. Can't you wait until the rain stops before training?"
The little witch took out her wand to deal with their wet clothes, and Loren also took out his wand.
The twins waved their hands to reject the two's kindness, and their voices sounded a little more energetic:
"Don't waste your efforts."
"We still have to go to the stadium later."
"what?"
Hermione screamed. She really couldn't accept this kind of training method that was harmful to the body. "I don't know if you can win the competition like this, but if you catch a cold, you will definitely get scolded by Madam Pomfrey!"
"Don't worry, kind Hermione."
"We can't wait to taste the stimulant!"
The twins ate and regained their vitality, even in the mood to joke.
The spirit-boosting potion is a medicine that can cure common colds. After drinking it, wizards will usually have white smoke coming out of their ears like a train boiler for the next few hours. This has great appeal to the twins.
There is a huge difference between wizards' and Muggles' views on health, due to the fact that wizards can easily treat diseases that seem difficult for Muggles to treat.
After dinner, Harry and the twins didn't even go back to the common room. They ran towards the Quidditch pitch in the heavy rain.
The rain had left a trail of wet streaks along the corridor, and Filch would have wanted to hang them up if he had seen them.
Hermione looked at the three people walking away and said angrily, "I just remembered a very useful waterproof spell that I forgot to tell them."
