Sayuri laughed out loud, and her dark purple lips looked particularly strange.

"Kato Megumi, don't say you are an ordinary person. In fact, you are very charming. Anyone in front of you will unconsciously trust you and it is easy for you to trick them into telling you something."

The explosions and gunfire continued, and bright fireworks sounded for the final ceremony.

"Okay, it's about time. The hero will rescue you soon. Well, even though I can't see you, I still wish you and your child safety."

Sayuri walked up to Kato Megumi and took off her necklace: "Lend it to me. You may not think so, but this breakfast is the most enjoyable one I have had in all these years."

Kato Megumi grabbed Sayuri's hand and said, "Ms. Sayuri."

Sayuri gently shook it off: "Well, I have to thank you for being friends with my stupid daughter. Even if you are jealous in the future, you have to give in to her."

With that, Sayuri walked out, leaving Kato Megumi alone, with the sunlight shining on her face.

..........................................

In half a day, Yawata used Shiwa's grandfather's channels to contact the black market arms dealer, modified the vehicle, drove to the front of the villa, opened the compartment, and fired ten RPG rounds in a row.

The earth was shaking and half of the villa was in ruins. He rushed in with both a gun and a sword. Although he encountered fierce resistance, he was able to beat the guards back in the end.

What surprised him was that the intensity of the counterattack he encountered was much lower than he had imagined.

Until he met Dorothy Windsor. Although she was past her prime, her appearance was still unaffected by the passage of time.

Dorothy tried to raise her gun, but the next moment, it was knocked down by Hachiman.

"Where's Kato Megumi?"

“Behind the door there is everything you could want,” said Dorothy.

Hachiman passed Dorothy and heard her mutter, "I will grant your wish, Sayuri, as long as it is your wish."

Hachiman continued walking forward, but saw Eriri standing in front of him with lifeless eyes.

As Hachiman walked by, Eriri's hand tugged at the corner of his shirt, but he gently shook it off.

Ying Lili squatted down, not knowing how to accept all this.

He pushed open the door and walked in. In the middle of the huge living room, like an iron throne, there was a luxurious chair. That was the seat of the head of the family.

Sayuri, wearing a luxurious dress, sat on it, looking like a queen.

Sayuri stood up and threw a bloody necklace in front of Hachiman.

Hachiman picked it up and held Kato Megumi's necklace tightly.

"Is this the end? You still need someone to take the blame for killing the Spencer family. Only in this way can you successfully become the only widow of the Spencer family, and I am the most suitable person to take the blame."

Sayuri is a very cunning and meticulous person. She has been planning this revenge for twenty years and it is impossible for her to miss anything at the end.

Sayuri walked down, pointed the gun at him and said, "Kato Megumi is behind the door. If you act quickly, maybe... you can still save the big one?"

She smiled beautifully, a flash of pain crossed Hachiman's face, and then he raised his gun.

Bang, bang, bang, bang...all the bullets in the entire magazine were fired, and the throne behind Sayuri was smashed to pieces.

The bullet grazed Sayuri's ear and passed through.

Sayuri's eyes turned cold: "What does this mean, Hikigaya Hachiman?"

Hachiman dropped his gun and said, "This is my last move on your chessboard."

Sayuri laughed again, tears in her eyes: "Why are you still unwilling to kill me after all this?"

He looked coldly at the thoughtful woman in front of him: "As long as you bear all the sins and are killed for the fear of sin, Eriri can inherit everything. And with Dorothy and my care, she will have a smooth journey."

Her final move on the chessboard was to use herself as a chess piece to end it all.

Sayuri laughed grimly: "As expected, if I let someone as smart as you join the game, I won't be able to completely control you."

Sayuri stood there blankly, and Hachiman started walking, intending to pass her and bring back Kato Megumi.

"But, Hachiman-kun, let me teach you another lesson. The so-called plan requires two preparations."

Sayuri looked at Hachiman and smiled, with blood oozing from the corner of her mouth. Hachiman suddenly grabbed her, as if he remembered something, and pried her mouth open.

There was a poison pill bitten in her back tooth socket, which was used by agents to commit suicide in order to prevent being tortured when caught.

Hachiman laid her down flat. Sayuri kept spitting out blood. Not far away, she heard Eriri's shouting and Kato Megumi pushing the door and running over.

Finally, the only thing she could see was Hachiman's hazy face.

In this life, there is no room for any emotion except revenge in her life.

Her life should end with revenge. She gently stroked Hachiman's cheek, but the sound of cicadas in the summer of her childhood rang in her ears.

...............................................

A month later, due to various things, Hachiman and his companions were delayed in returning home.

Kato Megumi's belly is already six months old, and the bulge is already very obvious. Occasionally, she can even feel the little one kicking inside her belly.

"Have you packed your things?" Hachiman asked.

"Well, they are all in the car." Kato Megumi smiled gently.

Kasumigaoka Utaha rolled her eyes: "I told you guys to stop showing me your love even when you are not moving, okay?"

Hachiman laughed and asked the two girls to get in the car: "That's great, let's go to the hospital for another B-ultrasound before leaving."

Kato Megumi remained silent and nodded.

Kasumigaoka Utaha looked at the two of them with some confusion, because she didn't understand the inside story. She just watched the two of them return safely without asking too many questions.

"Hey, Kasumi Shiko."

"What's wrong?" Shiyu was puzzled.

"Let me introduce you to a girl who's great at drawing. Since you're writing a light novel, let her help you draw illustrations. The relationship between you two will definitely be very good... No, it should definitely be very bad, right?"

"What the hell? I don't understand." Shiyu hates people who tell riddles the most.

Kato Megumi laughed softly.

When she arrived at the hospital, Shiyu found that it was not the one that Kato Megumi usually went to.

What surprised her even more was the person who came down to pick them up.

Even if he had never killed a pig, he had seen a pig run. Having lived in Ying Country for so many years, he must know what the royal family members looked like.

"Your Highness...Princess?" Shiyu said in shock.

Dorothy put her finger gently to her lips. "Hush, I just sneaked out today."

Then Dorothy looked at Hachiman and said, "Come on, I'll take you in."

Kato Megumi is sensible because she knows when to give space to those who need to speak.

So she pulled Shiyu, who was still in confusion, behind her.

Hachiman looked at Dorothy's face, thought for a moment, and asked, "Why did you agree to help Sayuri realize such a wish?"

Dorothy looked over, her face soft. "Because I love her. Even if her wish is to die, I love her and want to fulfill her wish."

"This love is so heavy~" Hachiman sighed.

"Of course, the person who loves her the most in this world is me, and no one else can take this title away from me."

Fanatic chefs are terrible.

Soon after, Dorothy stopped in front of a ward: "Here we are."

Hachiman paused for a moment, pushed the door open, and heard the sound of conversation and laughter from inside.

"Oh, really? I don't believe it." A laugh as light as a magpie.

It was a bright ward filled with sunlight. Two girls were sitting and chatting on the sofa in the ward.

One of them was Eriri. She heard the door open, looked over, and when she saw it was Hachiman, she fell silent.

The other girl was a little surprised and followed Ying Lili's gaze. When she saw that it was a strange man, she tilted her head slightly and smiled as if she had thought of something.

"Ah, are you the Mr. Hikigaya that Eriri mentioned?"

The blonde girl said, then she stood up and spoke very politely.

"Hello, Mr. Hikigaya, I'm Eriri's sister, Lily Spencer. It's our first meeting, thank you for your guidance."

She said briskly with lively eyes.

Hachiman was silent for a moment until the girl felt strange: "What were you talking about just now?"

"Ah, that's right. Eriri said the sound of cicadas in Japan is very nice. Unfortunately, it's spring in China now. But there aren't many cicadas here in the summer. I always feel like I've heard it somewhere before."

Hachiman laughed, "Yes, in a few months, the cicadas in Neon will be the best."

The girl showed an expectant look and nodded vigorously: "Yeah."

This volume is finished.

End of volume and update time of next volume

Well, whether you are satisfied or not, the plot of the third volume has ended. The ending was a bit hasty, but it basically expressed everything I wanted to write.

So let's talk about the controversial part.

First of all, some readers have made very good suggestions. The last part of the plot, due to too many twists and turns, is actually more suitable to be written out in one go. I haven't thought this through. Of course, even if I have thought it through, because of the problem of typing speed, in practice I will probably stop updating for a few days and update it all at once.

But in fact, this is not the point of the problem. Whether it is talking about my New Year update of such a plot, or investigating the rationality of Sayuri's mother selling herself, including shouting for Sayuri to die and my parents in Zaan, the core problem is just one, that is, I wrote a female protagonist in a novel with a male protagonist.

That’s right, the core contradiction is actually just this, and the others are just channels for venting the “unhappy” emotions generated by it.

The protagonist in this volume is actually a tool, and the chess player is Sayuri.

In fact, this kind of plot will inevitably be controversial once it is written, so why should I write it this way?

Because of the fatigue of the climax points, the repetitiveness of the plot, and the aesthetic fatigue, this is one point.

Of course I could write about the protagonist sweeping through the Spencer house to rescue Sayuri, but I would be writing it painfully because there would be no resonance at all.

I would rather some people abandon the book with curses than readers forget it with indifference. (It’s okay to curse my parents, it’s not easy for them to give birth to me and raise me.)

The second point is that it feels great to write like this, and I feel great anyway.

A woman endured for twenty years, doing everything she could to deceive and exploit others, and her life goal was just four words: to avenge her mother.

What I wrote was a pure avenger. Family and love were not a big deal until she completed her revenge.

Cleanse? Wash your ass.

I respect a woman like this as a man.

So she must die, because this is a novel with a male protagonist.

Sayuri's first amnesia was unclear whether it was true or not, so you could think she was pretending. But this time, it was real amnesia, so some indignant readers could just think she was dead.

This ending is the one I am more satisfied with, rather than compatriotism.

In addition, except for the core parts of this volume, many parts are not very complete. This is a fact. For example, my original positioning of Sayuri's parents was somewhat similar to the relationship between Secretary Gao and Gao Xiaofeng in "In the Name of People". Unfortunately, it was not expressed very well. After all, if I wrote more details, I would be scolded for a few more days, and my mentality was not good.

My creative philosophy has always been that apart from a clear bottom line (that is, cuckold, cuckold and cuckold), any plot that can arouse emotional resonance can be tried. It would be painful for me to write the same old plot of picking up girls. Giving female characters more interesting souls is the core of my creation. Of course, how to balance it with reading pleasure has always been a topic.

Finally, I don’t know when the next volume will be updated.

Because this volume is fast-forwarded, the plot of the next volume only has an outline. Apart from the general introduction, development, climax and ending, the plot has not yet been conceived.

In order to avoid the problems in this volume, these outlines will be more detailed.

All I can say is, as soon as possible.

But I can give you a spoiler: the core heroine of the next volume is Yukino.

You've been a bit lazy, and I can totally understand why you gave up on the book, but if you're still interested in this fat fish.

See you in the next volume.

I'm too busy at the end of the year, I'll update later this month

Let me say this first, so that you don’t accuse me of being a eunuch again...................................................................................

Chapter 1: First meeting, mother, I am your daughter

At dusk, the severe cold winter suddenly passed, and the sunshine of early spring made people feel a sense of vitality. The ivy entangled in the sunshine on the second floor of the mansion under the snow seemed to have the energy to sprout again.

Since the hostess here likes the quaint greenness of the ivy wrapped around the guardrails, she lets them grow wildly.

On the soft and warm big bed, the head of the Yukinoshita family, Lord Kiyoyuki, is taking a lazily and comfortable nap.
