Harry rubbed the scar on his forehead: "So shall we go now?"
-
"Is this their home?" Harry looked around and found it really strange.
Ron and the others saw the three signs on the gate at a glance.
First block:
Editor-in-Chief of The Quibbler: X. Lovegood
Second block:
Pick your own bouquet of mistletoe
The third block:
Don't Touch the Airship Lee
"Does this mean we're welcome to come in?" Ron hesitated, not knowing whether he should push open the gate.
Fred and George pushed open the gate.
"Of course!" "Newspaper editors love new things."
What appeared before them was a winding path.
There were all kinds of strange plants growing on both sides, and there was a bush full of orange-red carrot-shaped fruits hanging upside down.
"That's the airship Lee," Fred and George warned. "We'd better not touch it."
Ron followed behind, looking around. "Where's the mistletoe? He wants us to pick one. I think it's best to do as he says."
"Here." A vague voice floated by, followed by a white arm, pointing to a heavy black door.
Two old crabapple trees bent by the wind stood on either side of the gate. Their leaves had fallen, but they were still covered with small red fruits and large canopies of mistletoe crowns adorned with white beads.
A little owl with a slightly flattened head, a bit like an eagle's head, was peering at them from a branch.
"Thank you." Ron said subconsciously and was about to pick it.
But the next second, "Ahhhhh! Ghost!"
The vague voice sounded again.
Ron looked down.
It's a little girl.
She had unkempt, dirty, waist-length blond hair, very light eyebrows, and bulging eyes that gave her a perpetually surprised expression.
Even more bizarre was her attire.
Butterbeer cork necklace, Zeppelin earrings, bare feet.
There was no doubt that she was the crazy girl.
Ron: "Hello, crazy girl. No no. Lovegood, I'm Ginny's brother."
Fred and George: "You are so rude Ron! Hi, I'm George." "Hello, I'm Fred."
Harry: "Hello, I'm—"
Hush! The girl made a gesture to shut up, "I know you are Harry Potter!"
"And you, tall and skinny, but looking silly, definitely not Percy, that's Ron."
"As for you two, you are actually Fred and you are George!"
"I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Luna, Luna Lovegood. I don't recommend you calling me a crazy girl."
Ron wrinkled his nose. "Silly? Is that what Ginny said about me?"
Fred and George: "You're so clever!" "Sometimes Mum can't tell us apart!"
Harry: "Hello, we have something to ask you. Do you recognize this symbol?"
As he spoke, he took out an apple.
It was just used as a Quidditch prop, but now it has the triangular eye symbol engraved on it.
Luna narrowed her eyes, staring at the symbol, "I'm not sure. But my dad definitely knows it. He knows a lot!"
She knocked three times on the heavy black door, which had round iron nails and an eagle-shaped knocker.
In less than ten seconds, the door opened and a man appeared.
He had cross-eyed eyes, cotton candy-like white hair that fell on his shoulders, a hat with golden tassels that hung down to his nose, and he was wearing a bright green robe that was eye-catching.
He had a necklace made of butterbeer corks around his neck and was also barefoot.
Seeing such a bustling scene in front of the door, he was stunned for a moment, then immediately looked at the symbol on the apple.
"I see! You are explorers!"
Then he focused his attention on their appearance.
"Well, the Weasleys, and... Harry Potter!"

Chapter 137 Fred: "You like her too?"
"Hello my name is Xenophilius Lovegood and this is my daughter Luna."
The man said this, and he seemed a little nervous. "Luna, go catch some more ball fish. I'll take care of the guests."
And the man's daughter just raised her eyebrows, "Dad you don't want me to know about the symbol? Okay, I'll pick some goldigans first."
Immediately, she left with a thump.
Xenophilius wiped the sweat off his forehead. "My daughter is always so sharp that I can never hide anything from her. I'm sure she'll get into Ravenclaw."
"Come in, you guys."
Harry and the others nodded.
I have to say that although Fred and George are naughty, they are very polite.
Because the interior of this house is just as strange as the Lovegood home.
The first floor is the kitchen.
The room is a standard round shape, and it feels like staying in a giant pepper shaker.
Everything was curved to match the walls: stove, sink, cupboards, and painted with flowers, insects, and birds in bright primary colors. The effect was a little too intense for such an enclosed space.
In the past, they would have made fun of this.
Xenophilius looked around. "Better go upstairs."
In the middle of the room, a cast-iron spiral staircase led to the upper floor, from which came clattering and ping-pong sounds.
He leads the way.
Harry and the others followed quietly behind.
The room above seems to be both a living room and a workroom, so it is even messier than the kitchen.
Aunt Petunia would go crazy if she saw this. It was a mess she could never imagine in her life.
Every surface was covered with piles of books and papers.
Hanging from the ceiling were elaborate models of animals Harry didn't recognize, all flapping their wings or moving their beaks.
The thing making the noises was a wooden thing with lots of gears that turned by magic.
It looked like a monstrous cross between a workbench and a bunch of old shelves, but after a moment Harry figured out that it was an old printing press, because it was spitting out copies of newspapers.
Ron found a topic. "Is this The Quibbler? What's on the news today?"
Harry and the others also came over.
Gilderoy Lockhart: Hero or Liar?
An adventurer who solves dangers everywhere or a shameless person who steals other people's stories
Recently, thanks to Rita Skeeter's reporting, it is widely believed that Gilderoy Lockhart, the best-selling author and adventurer, is a fraud who uses the Memory Charm to erase the memories of true heroes and claim their deeds as his own.
Since Skeeter could provide a lot of 'evidence', most people believed it firmly.
But is this really the case?
Startling new evidence has emerged that Gilderoy Lockhart may not have been guilty of the crimes for which he was sent to Azkaban.
But no one could have imagined that this was actually related to Fudge.
"He is not that simple," said an employee inside the Ministry of Magic. "He and his secret lover Umbridge both know an evil spell. They put the body into a deep sleep and communicate with their secret department through dreams."
"Those who follow them may have noticed that at the end of last year, around Christmas, they fell into a coma for no apparent reason several times, and they lied that they were cursed."
"But as far as my friends at St. Mungo's know, no traces of any spells were found on them."
Another employee of the Ministry of Magic was outraged. "Fudge wanted to become the de facto Prime Minister of the British Ministry of Magic. To this end, he secretly set up the Memory Police (the police are the Aurors among Muggles) department, and gained their support and funds by modifying the memories of wizards one by one."
"Lockhart suddenly went from being a hero to a criminal because he discovered something was wrong. As a result, his memory was modified and he became a criminal."
Doris Purkiss of 18 Thornleaf Road, Little Norton, said that in reality, the real Sirius Black had died long ago.
The person who has been vindicated now is not him at all.
"What people don't realise," said Mrs Purkiss, "is that the guy they think is Sirius Black is actually Stumpy Boardman, the lead singer of the popular singing group The Naughty Pixies."
"Retired from public life about fifteen years ago after being hit on the ear by a carrot at a concert in the Little Norton church hall."
“I recognized him immediately when I saw his picture in the newspaper.”
"It is impossible for Fatty to have committed those crimes because he happened to be enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner with me that day."
"But with 'Sirius' in prison, the fatheads disappeared."
"I have reason to believe that Chubby was named 'Sirius' and Fudge's memory police used this to seize Chubby's property and support."
"Because Chubby Boardman is very popular, our naughty goblins have fans all over the wizarding world."】
After reading it, the four of them stared at the article in disbelief.
Ron smacked his lips. "Mother might be pleased to see this. She has always believed that Gilderoy Lockhart is innocent."
Harry doubted his life, "This is a joke magazine, right?"
Fred and George, "It was funny." "Especially the part about Chubby."
Xenophilius paid no attention to their conversation. He immediately ran to a curved cabinet and arranged the busts on it.
She is a beautiful but stern-looking witch.
The headdress she wore was extremely weird. There was a pair of curved golden hearing aid-like things extending from both sides. A pair of sparkling blue wings were inserted into the leather belt on the top of her head, and there was a flying ship on the other hoop on her forehead.
It took him a while to come back to his senses.
"Ah, you have discovered my loveliest invention (Ron hid the newspaper behind his back and threw it out), shaped to fit the beautiful Rowena Ravenclaw's head. The greatest wealth of mankind is intelligence!"
He pointed at the hearing aid-like object.
"This is the harassment fly siphon - it can eliminate everything that disturbs the thinker's surrounding area. This," he pointed to the small wings, "is the aura thruster, which can lead to a higher state of mind. Finally," he pointed to the orange carrot, "this is the airship Lee, which can improve the ability to accept abnormal things."
"Excuse me," Ron snatched the apple from Harry's hand, "that's not what we're asking. You know the symbol."
Xenophilius slapped his thigh, "I'm almost done! I need to discuss the Tale of the Three Brothers with you before Luna returns."
Ron frowned. "The Tale of the Three Brothers? No way, you don't let your daughter read The Tales of Beedle the Bard?"
"All the old stories were made up by Beedle the Bard. Where can you hide?"
Xenophilius shook his head solemnly. "Only The Tale of the Three Brothers."
"I guess you've discovered this too. The three props in this story are real."
"The invincible Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone that brings the dead back to life, the Invisibility Cloak that evades death."
"But I don't want my little Luna to put her hopes on this before I find the Resurrection Stone."
Harry and the other three looked at each other in horror.
Harry: "Excuse me, I think we need to go!"
