Hogwarts doesn't need a savior

In the heart that was once occupied by darkness but is gradually regaining its light, the seeds of talent are taking root and sprouting, ready to break through the soil and bloom into bright flowers.
Chapter 249 The Beginning of a New Semester
The first night of the new school term was probably a little difficult for many young wizards to fall asleep.
For example, first-year students who have just entered a new environment find everything new.
Another example is a new Hufflepuff prefect who had gone through a lot before school started and had been given a big shot of chicken blood.
For example, there is the little Slytherin witch who has been bored for a whole summer vacation and has practiced her skills on a dummy target, always ready to find someone to practice with.
But whatever they did, Lynn slept well and dreamed of Euphemia.
This is even better.
-----------------
The next morning, Lynn put on the robe made by his girlfriend and went to the auditorium for dinner.
He didn't get up early, at least among the professors he was the last.
"Come and sit down, and tell us what happened yesterday." Sprout greeted him with a smile.
Hagrid also changed back into his usual coat, looking energetic. He brought a bottle of brandy early in the morning - obviously a good wine from old Tom.
Not far away were Flitwick, who was very friendly and enthusiastic to everyone, and Babbling.
For various reasons, with Lynn as the starting point, their relationship was quite close.
Needless to say, the first important topic today is, of course, the negotiations with the Minister of Magic last night, which is the focus of everyone's concern (gossip).
Seeing such a scene, Lynn couldn't refuse. He smiled and sat in the seat that Flitwick had reserved for him. He took some food and recounted the situation in a lighthearted manner.
Just as they were chatting, the gossip discussed by the little wizards could be heard from the long table of students, and it became more and more weird.
It started off normal with [Cedric fighting Dementors alone to protect younger students], but as the story went on, there were more fantasy versions like [Cedric fighting off an army of Dementors, the overwhelming silver light could be seen clearly through several carriages].
It turned out that the little wizards had rich imaginations, and with the preparations and exaggerations, they soon made the story vivid and attracted a group of people.
Needless to say, the leader was of course Boyce, who was very proud of himself after getting nine certificates, and his inseparable friends who were always there to watch the fun and were never afraid of getting into trouble.
By the time Cedric arrived late into the hall, it was too late.
The roar of laughter suddenly surrounded him, catching this thin-skinned boy off guard.
Listening to the laughter in the distance, and looking at Professor McGonagall who was handing out class schedules, Lynn felt like laughing, not knowing whether he should go over to stop her. He ended the topic with a few words, ate the last bite of vegetable salad, and went to the library early. Taking advantage of the quiet morning, he studied the registration for this year's advanced class.
As early as the end of summer vacation, his office desk at school was piled with letters from students, all of whom wanted to take his advanced class, including some top students from lower grades.
Just a rough calculation shows that the scale of about 60 people last year could not be stopped in any way.
Who to choose and who to not choose, and who to allow to audit the class are all happy worries for teachers.
Another thing that is puzzling is the class times on the timetable.
After a transition in the academic year, the teaching time of Magic Runes and Ancient Magic gradually became like a compulsory course - two classes per week, two standard hours per class, one-third more than last year, which was just right for him and Professor Barbour to each take half.
And in the end, Professor McGonagall spent an entire summer and still was unable to evenly distribute all the courses to meet the needs of some outstanding young wizards who wanted to choose twelve courses.
Therefore, those young wizards who have extremely high demands on themselves still have to get a time converter specially approved by the Ministry of Magic to "expand" their 24 hours a day and increase their study time in a way that is more harmful to their health.
This made Lynn quite dissatisfied, and also made Professor McGonagall gradually have some ideas about educational reform.
As far as Lynn knew, she would put forward an idea at the upcoming professors' meeting.
The "pressure" and "burden" these problems brought to him were, to some extent, no less than those of the "false gods" who had disappeared. After all, Professor McGonagall was sometimes scarier than them.
With the early morning sunshine, he sat by the window writing and drawing, and soon he welcomed the first little wizard to come to the library in the new semester.
There was no doubt about the choice: Gryffindor's top student, Miss Hermione Granger.
"Good morning, professor!" Seeing Lin En, who had arrived earlier than her, she greeted him cheerfully, "Did you sleep well last night?"
"Slept well, Hermione." Lynn looked up and said with a smile, "I remember you have a Muggle Studies class at nine in the morning. Do you still need to come to the library?"
"Yes, I'm here to return some books I borrowed before the holiday. I also want to borrow some reference books for the afternoon's Arithmancy. They're not available in the bookstore because they've been out for a long time." Hermione trotted over to Lynn's side, rummaged through her bag, and pulled out a thick notebook. "Professor, these are the notes, questions, and conjectures you asked me to study during the holiday."
"Wow!" Lin En was shocked by the thickness of the book. "You are amazing...Okay, I will hurry up and finish reading it. Also, copy a copy of your class schedule for me so that I can judge your possible work and study time."
"It's on the first page~!" Miss Granger perfectly predicted the professor's reaction, left behind a string of silver bell-like laughter, and disappeared among the bookshelves.
Lin En lowered his head with amusement and turned a page. The handwriting was neat and beautiful, which made people feel relaxed and happy when reading it. It was much better than many sloppy summer homework assignments.
-----------------
After sitting in the library for about two hours, around ten o'clock, Lynn packed up his things and walked into the classroom. Professor Barbour had arrived before him and was organizing her lesson plans.
The first class of the fifth grade was about to begin, with theory first and practice second. All future courses would follow this sequence - this was what he and Barbie had decided during the holidays.
Soon, the young wizards who were about to enter the OWLs year came in one after another, including Fred, George, Cedric, Pavla...
Familiar figures took their seats one after another, except for the twins, who were completely indistinguishable to ordinary people, who were smiling maliciously.
They gathered around Lynn, who was sitting in the last row, and made eye contact.
"Don't tell me you dismantled those two floating guns." Lin En stopped writing and glanced at the two guys who were unwilling to do anything for a profit.
"Hey!"
“You have such a good eye!”
“But this is for research.”
"We have done a lot of scientific research for Dad."
"Like the magic phone."
"And the Iron Armor Curse Doll."
The two brothers worked together perfectly, taking turns talking. They didn't ask for anything, but just showed off their "merits", which made Lin En both angry and amused.
Seeing that these two funny guys had no intention of stopping, he didn't use his wand. He just pointed with two fingers and the chatterbox fell on their restless mouths.
"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...!"
"Be good at attending Professor Babel's class. There will be an OWLs mock exam next weekend. If both of you get an E or above on the written exam, I'll give you another pair. Remember, both of you must get an E or above. Do you understand?"
"Woo!"
"Woo!"
Even though he couldn't speak, his expressive joy said it all - and there was also some secret joy after his plan had succeeded.
The students nearby turned their heads and smiled maliciously.
The most jubilant one was their good brother Lee Jordan.
Chapter 250 Malfoy and Potter
Professor Barbling's classes were always pretty even, and apart from being a little boring occasionally, there was nothing to complain about - this had nothing to do with her ability, but was simply the way it was for a theoretical course focusing on language learning.
Under the dual impetus of Lynn's on-site supervision and the exam in front of them, the twin brothers, who were full of clever ideas, became exceptionally honest. They even took notes for the first time, which made Professor Barbour very happy.
However, expecting them to make any constructive comments or responses in class is obviously more unrealistic than expecting Boyce to get a high score in a written test.
If we really want to talk about dominating the classroom, it has to be the combination of Pavla and Cedric.
Cedric, who had a year of experience in the advanced class and the Stargazer Club and received a customized study plan from Lynn during the summer vacation, went beyond words. Pavla, who had a talent for language, writing and historical knowledge, also made great progress.
There is no doubt that both of them will be qualified to audit the advanced classes, which is more than enough to cope with the theoretical knowledge at the OWLs level.
With the two of them keeping the situation under control, the class went uneventfully, with the only minor hiccups being the booing from his enthusiastic classmates when Cedric stood up to speak.
Soon, the bell for the end of get out of class rang. Except for a few students who gathered around the podium to ask questions, most of the young wizards rushed to the auditorium impatiently to enjoy lunch.
Lin En also packed up his things, walked out of the classroom thoughtfully, and slowly followed the crowd, thinking about this year's teaching plan - the students' foundations are different every year, and the strategies of the previous year can only be used as a reference and emergency response to special circumstances. More targeted plans need to be formulated in the new year to avoid misleading the students.
Halfway down the road, he saw the third graders coming towards him from the Transfiguration classroom.
The noisy little ones were still discussing the death prediction made by Trelawney, which was a regular part of the show every year, but this year was a little different.
Harry looked worried. After all, he had really seen a big black dog when he escaped from Privet Drive, and he was missing a wise classmate when taking this course.
When they turned the corner, they happened to meet Lynn.
"Professor Eric."
The three little wizards spoke in unison in tacit understanding.
"Looking at how dejected you two are, maybe our drunk fortune teller has predicted another lucky person who will die this year?" Lynn said jokingly, "I guess it's Harry, after all, he looks the worst."
"But I really saw a big black dog, Professor." Harry sighed.
"There are big black dogs everywhere, why scare yourself?" Lynn said gently, staring at Harry with her bright amber eyes, and then quickly turned to Hermione, "I remember that large black dogs are quite popular in Muggle society."
"Yes, professor, both Rottweiler and Doberman are very popular." said the little witch with a smile.
"That's right. Have fun and eat more at noon. Hagrid will teach you in the afternoon. I guarantee that he will prepare something very interesting for your first class."
Lynn's tone was light and cheerful. As she spoke, symbols of enlightenment lit up in the air. A feeling of joy rose from the bottom of Harry's heart, making him feel warm from the inside out.
-----------------
Harry's good mood lasted until after lunch and the nap.
The tea residue had almost been cleared from his head.
When he left the castle, stepping on the soft and moist grass, he raised his head, looked at the light gray clear sky, took a deep breath, and felt very comfortable.
They were going to Hagrid's Care of Magical Creatures class. Harry had a very special feeling, as if it wasn't real, when he thought about the first good friend he met at school becoming a professor.
Not far away, just as they were about to enter the Forbidden Forest, they saw Malfoy.
After a summer of "being influenced by the environment", Malfoy, who returned to school, seemed to have regained some of the arrogance he had when he first entered school, especially when people around him were praising him.
But compared to his outspokenness back then, he was much calmer now. He didn't even have much interest in arguing with Harry. He just glanced at them coldly, then left chatting and laughing with his friends.
Only then did Harry remember the note on the timetable: they were going to take the Care of Magical Creatures class together with Slytherin House, which might not be good news for Hagrid.
He had already spotted Hagrid, who was waiting by the hut. He had changed into an oversized moleskin coat and shouted in a voice that was so loud that it did not require any magic:
"Hurry up! Come here quickly! We are about to set off!"
Seeing the students approaching one after another, he was very excited. "I have prepared something good for you today. This will be a wonderful class! Now follow me!"
As he spoke, he did not forget to swing the small wooden stick in his hand - even though it was sixteen inches long and made of thick oak.
"Hagrid! Your wand...?" Harry ran up to him in surprise and asked.
"That's right, the Ministry of Magic has restored my wand rights, Harry," Hagrid said excitedly, "all thanks to Lynn. He asked his friend in the Law Enforcement Department to help me, and he also taught me a lot of little knowledge that I will use in class. He is really a considerate person, isn't he?"
"Yeah, that's right," agreed Harry, also thinking about the magic at noon.
As they chatted and laughed, they thought they were going to enter the forbidden forest, but they just walked along the edge for a while and stopped at an empty fence.
"Everyone take out your textbooks - this one looks a little dangerous - and gently stroke its spine with your fingers." Hagrid spoke clearly, completely different from his usual rough appearance. "This will make them behave. Who wants to try it first?"
"I……"
"Let me do it."
Just as Harry was about to volunteer to speak for his good friend, Malfoy walked out of the crowd coldly and interrupted him.
The "Monster Book of Monsters" in his hand was still struggling, trying to break free from the tape that bound him and bite off someone's fingers.
Obviously, this kind of book was not to Malfoy's liking, which made him stand up with a bit of sarcasm and nitpicking - although he himself didn't understand why he suddenly did this seemingly unpleasant thing.
Pansy Parkinson was worried, but he didn't notice the girl who looked like a poodle at all. He just tore off the tape, held the book firmly, and then raised his index finger and slid down from the top of the spine.
With a "swish" sound, the menacing book became obedient, tremblingly opened, revealing its contents.
"Humph... Giving us a sensational book like this is really boring."
Malfoy continued to be harsh in his words, but behind him he heard voices of surprise and delight.
The young wizards are at a stage where they like new things, and they became interested in this book which looks dangerous but is not difficult to deal with once they find the trick.
Before long, there were more and more successful little wizards - except for a few who were really timid and didn't dare to wrestle with these guys, but they soon got help.
Hagrid secretly breathed a sigh of relief, clenched his fists to cheer himself up, recalled Lin En's advice, and said with a smile:
