"You wouldn't just..."

"Why is there still someone here?"

The two of them exclaimed at the same time, and then turned to look at Lin En at the same time.

The two candidate members of the Stargazers still don't know each other's identities.

“Who else do you think it would be? There are no young people in this school who are better than you, right? At least not yet.” Lin En stood up slowly and said as a matter of course, “Euphemia has already told me that you have all passed her test, so I will be your introducer and witness for today’s ceremony.”

"Let's go now."

Chapter 153 Fresh Blood of Stargazer

"Pong"

The emerald light of the fire lit up in Lynn's fireplace. First Doris, then Percy, and finally himself, the three of them walked out one by one and stood in the warm living room.

"Your house is really clean! The air is fresh too!" Doris accepted this reality much faster than Percy and jokingly said, "Is Senior Euphemia here?"

She ran out happily, looking around like a curious baby.

"Excuse me, Chief," Percy said flatly.

"Just be casual and treat it like your own home..."

"Boom"

Lynn was laughing and patting Percy on the back when a clear knocking sound was heard in the distance.

Before he could go over to find out what was going on, Doris had already run back, covering her red forehead, followed by Euphemia, who was already dressed but looked tired.

"She beat me again!" The tearful little witch came up and complained.

Percy showed no sympathy. "You are so rude, Doris. Good morning, Ms. Fox. It's nice to meet you."

He was always so strict with the rules, sometimes even a little inhuman, but he has been getting better recently.

"Good morning, Percy." Euphemia nodded, "Now follow me. It's just me and Lynn here. I'm the initiator of the oath and he's the witness."

He looked as nonchalant as if nothing had happened, not at all like he had just given Doris a blow on the head.

But Lin En could see the emotion behind her slightly shaking fingertips - this crisp head-blasting must feel good.

There was no doubt which way the scales tipped between Euphemia and Doris.

"Hurry up, we can have breakfast together after we're done."

Turning a deaf ear to Doris's report, Lynn walked quickly forward and walked side by side with Euphemia to the reception room, leaving the little Slytherin witch alone to doubt her life.

She didn't understand why both of them liked to hit themselves on the head.

Each one is louder than the other!

-----------------

Stargazers adopts a strict invitation review system. Every new member needs to be recommended by internal members and pass the review and evaluation of the committee before being allowed to join.

This committee has always been headed by Euphemia. Every member is nominated by various groups within the organization. They are both professional and comprehensive, and adhere to the principle of "better to have nothing than to have something unqualified".

In the more than ten years since the organization was founded, the number of new members each year has ranged from a dozen to no more than thirty, covering all industries and fields, including many Muggle thinkers and scientists recommended by Lynn himself. Although they do not possess magical powers, they have considerable influence and are very popular and respected in their respective groups.

In recent years, as the organization's development has been on the right track, the number of new members recommended by Lynn himself has been very small. Even those Beauxbatons graduates were not invited by him, but by another professor who taught at Beauxbatons.

Today, he personally serves as the recommender and witness of the two assistants, which is enough to show his attention and appreciation for these two rising stars.

Doris Foley, who is imaginative and talented, symbolizes vitality and creativity.

Meticulous and rigorous, Percy Weasley represents calmness and execution.

These are exactly the two qualities that are appreciated within the Stargazer organization, representing the two sides.

They sat side by side on the sofa, their expressions serious, and even Doris, who had been acting coquettishly just now, restrained her personality.

"Now we are going to make an unbreakable vow." Euphemia said softly, "Lynn will be the witness of this vow - if you are ready."

"Of course ma'am, I'm ready," Percy said seriously, swallowing.

Doris also nodded solemnly: "Me too, Euphemia-senpai."

Under Lynn's gaze, Doris stood up first, walked to Euphemia's side, knelt on one knee on the soft carpet, and reached out to hold her hand tightly.

"Lynn, get started," Euphemia reminded calmly.

Lynn drew out his wand, stood beside the two of them, and pointed the tip of the wand at their clasped right hands. "Alright, Fei."

Euphemia nodded and spoke in a cold voice.

"Doris Foley, after you join the Stargazers, are you willing to keep the organization secret at all costs and not reveal any information to anyone without permission?"

“I do,” Doris said.

A thin but dazzling flame burst out from Lynn's wand and turned into a burning chain of fire that wrapped around the hands of the two men.

“Are you willing to work hand in hand with all partners in the organization and share your gains in a way that everyone agrees on and gets the same support from your partners?”

“I do,” Doris said.

A second chain of flames burst out from the wand and intertwined with the first. "Finally, my question. On the road of exploring the mystery, are you willing to always do your best and never betray your identity and position no matter what difficulties you face?"

"I do." Dolly nodded without hesitation.

The third chain of fire flashed a bright red light, illuminating the faces of the two people who were close to each other.

-----------------

After Doris came Percy, who looked very serious.

Still the same vows, the same steps.

The chain of fire represents a bond that cannot be broken - unless the sworn one can transcend the boundaries of death or possesses the power to destroy the rules on which the oath is based.

There is no precedent for either one. Even the legendary wizards throughout history cannot find any way to crack it.

Especially when the witness is a top-level powerful person second only to the legendary wizards.

When Lynn retracted her wand, the bright flame disappeared into thin air, and the atmosphere in the living room instantly became relaxed and cheerful.

Even Percy, who was usually serious, showed a rare smile and was teased by Doris.

"Welcome to the Stargazers, Doris, Percy."

Euphemia smiled and said, "Congratulations, you are members No. 209 and No. 210 of our organization. These will be exclusive numbers. I believe that many groups will welcome you to join."

"Number 209? There are so many people here?" Doris asked in surprise, subconsciously stroking the smooth back of her right hand with her left hand.

This was the first time she had taken an unbreakable vow.

It was also the first time she heard news from within the Stargazer organization.

"We currently have 194 members, 196 including you," Lynn said softly.

"What about the remaining people...?" Doris blinked her eyes. She had a rough guess.

"You guessed it right. They are no longer alive." Euphemia nodded. "Three of them died while exploring ancient ruins, and nine of them died while fighting the Dark Lord."

"What about the other two?" Percy asked.

"This is top secret, you can't know it for now." Lin En smiled and reached out to hold the shoulders of the two assistants, "But I can tell you that these two partners are excellent people."

"Now get ready for breakfast. You can have the day off today. I suggest you go to Diagon Alley and buy something you like. Then ask me to reimburse you later."

He spoke in a brisk tone, and with a wave of his wand, steaming breakfast flew in from the kitchen, using the aroma of food to dispel the confusion in the hearts of the two little wizards.

"Also, this is a gift for you." Euphemia took out two small and exquisite badges from her bracelet. Their appearance was not much different from the Stargazer Club badges they were wearing.

They are all bright six-pointed stars. The only difference is that in addition to the pattern, the new badge also has a brilliant starry sky background, and the magical aura is more subtle.

Barnold Hall, Swansea.

At daybreak, Amelia Bones, who had just finished a surprise inspection of dark magic items, arrived here and met Millicent Barnold, who had already packed up.

Besides her, there were many other guests in the manor today, all of whom were officials from the Ministry of Magic.

They gathered at the former minister's home to discuss many unknown matters.

It was not until the evening that these backbone members of the Ministry of Magic who held important positions left one after another, each with a satisfied look on their face.

Chapter 154 Preference

Percy and Doris joining the Stargazers is a small footnote to this busy March.

The two little wizards spent a fulfilling day together in Diagon Alley, and returned to Hogwarts with large bags of books and school supplies - even Percy was uninhibited and bought a lot of magic books that he had been interested in before, and Doris was even more generous.

The next day, Lynn, who received the bill, said goodbye to Euphemia, whose vacation was over, and personally sent her back to Beauxbatons. He also had breakfast with Madame Maxime.

The respectable principal still regrets Lynn's departure to this day, although Euphemia's teaching level leaves her completely impeccable and even full of praise.

Furong, who had been away for many days, also happily came to the dining table where the two of them were, and half-reservedly and half-boastfully showed Lin En the results of her studies over the past few months.

She is already good at fine magic and has an extraordinary talent in the field of rune magic. Although she is only in the fifth grade, she has mastered seven kinds of magic that do not require metal runes - this is close to the top level among stargazers.

Although her magic power is not yet enough to fully unleash the powerful force of these magics, the accumulation of this quantitative change is only a matter of training intensity and time.

Both Madame Maxime and Euphemia thought highly of this outstanding little witch - especially Madame Maxime. After learning that the Triwizard Tournament, which would most likely be resumed, would soon welcome new participating schools, she paid special attention to this outstanding student of the right age.

Historically, Beauxbatons and Hogwarts have had similar records in the Triwizard Tournament, with Beauxbatons winning 62 times only slightly behind Hogwarts' 63 times.

After hundreds of years, this competition was resumed again. As the headmaster, she naturally did not want to be inferior to Hogwarts again, so she put in her full motivation.

In a sense, this may be another reason why she feels regretful.

Naturally, her level was far inferior to that of Dumbledore, and even slightly inferior to that of Professor McGonagall, but she had a keen eye and had long seen the potential of rune magic.

Lynn's return to Hogwarts to teach means that in future competitions, her students will also face challenges from opponents who are equally skilled in rune magic.

Even though she was confident in Furong's talent, she did not dare to be careless.

But the young little witch didn't know what the principal and professors were thinking. She just showed everything she had learned and returned to her companions like a proud little swan.

"I will ask Nico and Euphemia to focus on training her, Lynn." Looking at Fleur's back, Madam Maxime said softly, "Beauxbatons will definitely win this time."

Lynn smiled and nodded, "I also believe that Fleur will be very good, Headmaster. However, there are many outstanding young people in Hogwarts. There are many talented people in this era."

He thought of Cedric and Professor Sprout's frequent instructions.

Since they were all students he had personally brought up, he couldn't make any conclusions. He just silently raised the juice in his glass and gently clinked it with the extra-large glass that was used exclusively by the principal.

-----------------

"Lin, your vacation this time is really not short."

Back at Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall's serious face pulled Lynn back to reality from the romantic French manor - in just a few months, he had already been away from school for a week twice, which was considered excessive in the eyes of the vice-headmaster.

Especially this time two students were taken away.

"I'm sorry, Professor McGonagall. I have some urgent matters to deal with. I will try my best to adjust my schedule and limit the length of my leave."

Under the suppression of his blood, Lin En had no choice but to lower his head obediently and listen carefully to the Vice Principal's cycle - for a full half an hour, and this was the result of his good attitude.

It was not until Professor McGonagall's mouth was dry and her ears were almost callused that Lynn finally seized the opportunity to slip away. She ran out of the office with a sad face and quickly returned to her office.

He was delayed for nearly a week due to Bill's matter, and asked Professor Barbour to take over a few classes, so he had a lot of work to do.

There are also the ancient magic copied from Herbo's tomb that need to be studied, so his work is extremely busy.

Fortunately, he has three reliable assistants, especially Percy and Hermione, who can help a lot with the complicated work. With their presence, Lin En feels that he is becoming more and more lazy.

Almost as good as Doris.

Time passes day by day, plain and fulfilling.

The annual meeting of the Society of Magic and Ancient Magic was approaching, and Lin En chose to only submit a paper for the meeting, and asked Professor Barbling to give a presentation on his behalf - he really didn't want to waste time with those magic scholars who were just buried in piles of ancient books.

Many clichés that have been outdated for who knows how many years will only make him drowsy, so it is better to just have some peace and quiet, out of sight and out of mind.

More importantly, this conference was held in North America this year. When he thought of the pain of jet lag, he no longer had any psychological burden and directly handed the thick paper to the kind-looking old lady, Mrs. Barbling.

However, this can be done for academic conferences, but the annual meeting of stargazers cannot be neglected.
