Alien Executioner

The tentacles kept secreting white liquid, making it look like a white heart. The mucus flowed along the plastic outer layer to the brass container below. The container was very small and looked like a washbasin, but the mucus fell into it as if it was swallowed into the abyss, leaving no trace.
"It's incredible, isn't it? This is the secret of the Eternal Order." The elder said in admiration.
“What on earth is this?” Milo lowered his voice.
"Son of God."
"God's... offspring?"
Milo murmured. He originally thought that cult members were all psychopaths who were against human society, but the scene before him overturned his concept.
The huge piece of meat in the basement is obviously alive. Even if it is Banshang, how can it achieve such a subversive phagocyte form.
Even Naya can't do it. She can cover her entire body with phagocytes and summon thousands of tentacles, but she can't completely lose her human characteristics.
Therefore, the living things before our eyes can only be the relics of God!
The elder calmly took off the mask. Milo took two steps back in shock. It was a strange crow's head. The other cultists also took off their masks, revealing their true faces. They were all the same crow heads... Their eyes were blood red, their beaks were sharp, and their black feathers were shiny and dirty in the firelight.
"You! You are!" Milo was shocked and started to use his phagocytes.
"We are all new people," said the elder.
"Nervous? Haha. We must give the younger generation some time to adapt." Another elder laughed uncertainly.
"Is this guy Milo? He is really young. He inherited his father's handsomeness and his mother's gentleness. His genes are excellent."
"Look at his interesting expression. I wonder what will happen after he evolves into a new citizen. I am looking forward to it..."
The crows were drizzling, their eyes turned back to Milo, he heard some details and frowned.
"Don't be nervous, you just need to adapt." The elder closest to him stretched out his hand and gently pointed at his forehead with his rotten fingertips.
Milo felt pain in his head, discomfort in his body, and all his phagocytes faded.
"Elder, what's going on with Xinmin?" Milo calmed down.
"Are you calm now?" The elder walked up to the giant piece of meat. The crow man in a red robe was tall, yet looked so small.
Milo followed and stood on both sides of the piece of meat with the elder, watching the so-called offspring of God from a close distance.
"The remains of the Shoggoth are already dead, but the remains of their bodies are still alive and well despite the powerful force. This is a miracle."
The elder's frightened crow face was no longer so depressing, but instead looked sad, as if he was standing in front of an ancient sculpture, traveling through time and looking back into the past.
"Milo, ever since you joined the cult, you must have been trying to figure out the true philosophy and purpose of the Eternal Order all the time. This evening, you will know everything."
"Tens of thousands of years ago, long before the meteorite fell four hundred years ago, there were immortal ancients in this land. They used the knowledge and power of the ancients to create the first monsters on Earth. At first, they were just creatures that could be used at will. Gradually, they developed intelligence, resisted, and devoured the ancients who created them, becoming the first gods on Earth."
One of the crow men let out a terrifying laugh. Milo couldn't tell where it was, but he knew it was not far from his right hand.
“Hehehe… But these gods were all swallowed up with the brief arrival of the abyss. Most of them became part of the abyss and became the dead race, but a very small number still exist. Some died, just like the wreckage in front of us, and others hid in the corners, waiting to be summoned.”
Milo understood: "So you want to summon the Shoggoth, and this piece of wreckage is proof of the existence of the Shoggoth."
The crows laughed and admired his sharpness and understanding.
"That's right, but this is not the true purpose of the Eternal Order. We summon the Shoggoths to create a new abyss." said the elder.
"Let us become the second Shang tribe and open the ladder to godhood that belongs only to the ancients." The Crow Man said this crazy idea.
"I see. So you call yourselves the New People, but in fact your counterpart is the Ancient Ones." Milo rolled his green eyes and thought quickly.
He took a deep breath and understood everything from just a few words. This was an idea that could not be crazier.
Summon Shoggoths and use their power to create a racial system similar to the Shang.
The crows at this moment may have already reached the stage of becoming ancient ones. Obviously, they are all half-dead. Gathering twenty-one half-dead at once is simply horrifying.
"You are very smart, worthy of being their descendant. Your parents are the best and are also among the senior elders of the sect. It's a pity that they were wiped out by FACA when they went to the third district to preach. If An Ran hadn't been the leader at the time, there might have been a glimmer of hope."
"So Xinmin doesn't have Banshang's strength." Milo quickly grasped the key point.
The crows laughed, which made him feel a little embarrassed.
"We were all weak alien species, and some were even humans." The Crow Man explained, "Until we relied on the power of this god to become new citizens, we can be considered half dead. Only your parents were surprised. There is an existence in the third district that we can't imagine. They said it was wiped out by FACA, but in fact it was someone else."
"We are waiting for you to become a new citizen and create a new abyss with us." The elder extended his hand, but Milo did not accept it.
"Your idea is too crazy. Besides, I don't even know what the abyss is, let alone creating a new abyss."
"As for the so-called abyss, we will tell you later. You just need to understand that we will eventually stand shoulder to shoulder with the Shang Clan."
"Putting aside whether the abyss can be created, are you sure that the new abyss you are going to create is similar to the existing abyss?" Milo winked.
The elder lowered his head and was silent for a while, then raised his head and opened his crow's beak.
"Actually, we're not too sure. The Abyss should be the source of Shang's power. We think so."
"If I become a new citizen, will I become a crow-head like you?" Milo took a step back, preparing to back out.
"Is this important?"
“My dear elder, I actually prefer this face of mine. Although I firmly believe that even if I turn it into a crow head, it will be a very good-looking crow head, but I still can’t get used to it.” Milo completely gave up on this group of crazy people and just wanted to cut off ties with this cult.
"It's up to you. For your parents' sake, we won't force you." The elder turned around and looked at the six sacrifices, clapping his hands.
"Let's start the ceremony first. I'll give you some time to think about it. If you choose to give up, you will no longer have anything to do with the path to becoming a god."
Under the gaze of everyone, the six women serving as sacrifices were brought to the piece of meat, and black tentacles surged out excitedly and swept it away.
It only took a few seconds to end the ceremony, and there was no more movement.
"This month's ritual has failed again. How can the remnants with only eating instinct understand our needs?" A Crow man hung his head.
Through the frustrated conversations of this group of Crows, Milo understood the so-called rituals of the Eternal Order, which attempted to satisfy the mindless pieces of flesh with sacrifices, thereby establishing contact with other complete Shoggoths and summoning them into reality.
They failed again, but never gave up. When the piece of meat gave them strength with white mucus, these guys believed it firmly.
Milo narrowed his eyes, sensing something was wrong.
The piece of meat seemed to be wriggling, and the crows noticed this keenly, and the basement became quiet in an instant.
The piece of meat started to twist and tremble slightly, then began to wriggle wildly, expanding at a speed visible to the naked eye, foreshadowing that something was about to break through and be born.
The elders breathed rapidly, their beaks trembling up and down, waiting for a miracle.
As everyone waited with suffocation, the piece of meat exploded violently and fragments scattered everywhere.
The Son of God is completely dead.
The crows looked at each other, their eyes wide open, and saw a confused man standing where the piece of meat had been.
The man was wearing a suit and was covered in sticky stuff. He saw where he was, surrounded by candlelight, and thought it was a dream.
"You... who are you?" The Crow Man probed.
Lalo rubbed his eyes, then did something no one expected, slapping himself repeatedly until his face turned red.
"What's going on?" Lalo's face turned pale.
"Who are you! Who are you!" After a long silence, the crows roared. They wanted to summon a monster, but a different species appeared.
"The miracle is gone! The great wreckage is gone!" The Crow Man pounced on the debris on the ground, trying to save something.
Lalo hadn't figured out what was going on yet. He saw these weirdos with bird heads kneeling on the ground picking up scraps of meat. Suddenly, a strong hand pulled him away. It was a man with short gray hair. The two of them quickly fled the scene.
"Don't talk, just follow me!" Milo said in an unquestionable tone.
"Catch up with them! Catch up with them!" the Crows behind roared.
The next second, they fell into chaos.
"Oh my god! What is this! Black and red tentacles..."
After running out of the basement, Milo stopped at the door and signaled with his eyes. Although Lalo didn't know the situation, he understood when he saw the gas tank in the man's hand. He tactfully handed over a lighter and took out two cigars from his pocket to conceal his identity.
He saw the man pour gasoline on the wooden door and the ground, kick away the gatekeeper woman who rushed over, and use a lighter to ignite a sea of fire.
Chapter 26 Enemies of Crows (IV)
The basement fell into chaos. Worms that came out from nowhere were wreaking havoc. The elders decisively gave up chasing the two men. In comparison, dealing with the current situation was the most important thing.
The fat big worms rushed around, knocking away the vessels that stored the blood of Shoggoth, and biting off almost everything they could. This was the most severe situation that the Eternal Cult of the New Eaters had ever encountered. The Crows were chased all over the ground by several worms.
The elder raised his head, and above him hung dense black and red tentacles, like a spider web. Deep inside was a pair of terrifying bloody eyes, staring coldly.
The flame of the overturned candle was rippled, and the blood could be vaguely seen around it. It was a girl's face, beautiful and charming, with a bit of immaturity.
The elder calmly bent down to pick up the candle and raised it above his head so that he could see the figure in the tentacles more clearly. It was indeed a girl, wearing a blood-stained white dress, a tall figure, and a pair of black high heels. She showed a hateful smile, and as she looked into the blood-red eyes, she uttered chaotic mutterings.
“How is this possible!” The elder was horrified and stepped back in panic, hugging his crow head to try to drive away the mumbling.
The whispers of the Eternal Archon linger around.
The solemn transformation into horror is the most joyful madness, driven by some irrepressible desire.
Anya hooked her finger, and all the destructive worms stopped their movements and slowly moved towards their master. The crows gathered around the leading elder and dragged him back a dozen meters, keeping a relatively safe distance from the mysterious girl.
As the mumbling faded away, Elder Crow's eye membrane returned to normal, and he felt for a moment that he was enveloped in a strange gray-white world.
The crows rolled their red eyes, sizing up the girl's identity.
"Shoggoth?" A Crow suddenly said this name.
"Is she a Shoggoth?"
"The summoning ritual was successful?"
With the appearance of the name Shoggoth, the Eternal followers became excited. This might be the only truth that could explain it.
"Are you the Shoggoth?" The leading elder walked slowly forward with the help of others.
The believers could not tell whether the girl was a Shoggoth or another god. The girl's face was so vivid and soft, but slightly pale, like a creature beyond humans and aliens. She tilted her head and yawned, and her moist red lips had the texture of ice.
The girl did not respond. The elder stared at Anya's face and said, "You are the great Shoggoth, or the god of the abyss."
The god of the abyss is Shang. In the minds of the Crow people, gods are divided into two systems: the Abyss and the Ancients. The former is bred by the power of the Abyss, while the latter is the creation of the Ancients.
They don't care whether the other party is Shang or not now, they only care whether he is summoned by the ritual. Even if it is Shang, it doesn't matter. This group of Eternal followers are very good at adapting. As long as they can maintain control over a god, changing their beliefs is not a big deal.
"Shoggoth?" the girl uttered slowly, her voice ethereal and vague.
"It's Shang!" The Crow Man suddenly realized.
"Why are you so ugly?" Anya hated these bird people. She crawled out of the sewer and was originally planning to tease the super aliens hiding deep inside, but she accidentally encountered the ceremony site of a group of cult lunatics.
If it was the cults in the past, it would be fine. They were just some rats and ants who accidentally came into contact with traces and clues of Shang and wanted to spy on the secrets of God. They could just arrange for executive officers to attack them and that would be the end of the matter. But this time it was completely different. She was facing a cult that was doing something.
Not only has this evil cult achieved something, it is even possible that it has already touched the ladder to godhood and transformed into a crow head through some means.
Anya was only interested in three things. First, how did they become crow heads? Second, would their meat taste better after becoming crows? And finally, whether there was Shang hiding deep in this evil cult.
The leading elder opened his beak slightly, signaling his companions to step back.
He took a few steps forward alone, closing the distance between him and the god.
He lowered his posture and placed his right hand on his chest: "Mysterious and noble Blood-red Lord, we are the new people cannibals of the eternal sect..."
Anya interrupted Crow's self-introduction impatiently, as if she already knew it.
"I don't care who you are. You must have made a mistake. I am not any of the gods you are looking for, and there are no gods in this world."
"Some of them look familiar." The elder murmured, and as the girl walked out from the cluster of tentacles, the firelight completely illuminated her face.
"You are... you are..."
"I will devour all the gods in this world. Anyone who believes in and is contaminated by miracles will be my enemy." Anya smiled and stretched out her tentacles in front of the elder's face.
She stared into the Crow Man's eyes and sneered, finally reminding the Eternal Church members of the identity of this monster.
"No wonder you look so familiar, you are Naya." The elder showed no fear.
"It's interesting, isn't it? You wanted to summon something like God, but what you got was a monster that feeds on God."
"The rumors may be true. Naya is a monster of the An family."
The elder stepped back and clapped softly.
"It's a pity that this is District 1, not the An family's territory. You are such a greedy monster. I was almost deceived by you. You even disrupted our ceremony. You will pay the price for this."
In his eyes, Anya is a true Half-Sang, but that's all. The Eternal Church members have all evolved into new people and are all able to compete with Half-Sang.
Seeing the girl's cunning smile, the elder felt a chill on his back and felt vaguely uneasy.
"That's a very courageous statement. I won't take it as a provocation. I just think you are ignorant." Anya looked past the elder.
"Why don't you look behind you."
