Wow, I'm going to be covered with gauze—

I thought so.

But, it's still a secret.

What to say?

Lao Xu's level is definitely higher than mine even if he collapses. After all, he was already a well-known author before I started writing books, and he was a full-time author at that.

Because he is a full-time author, I have no chance of winning. But I didn’t expect that it is precisely because he is a full-time author that…

Alas, it’s still a bit of a pity.

Let’s talk about this book.

I had many ideas for this book at the beginning, and what you see now is the result of my hard work in making choices and cutting down on them.

So, let’s talk about what I chose.

First, it's lonely rock

Although I still like Lonely Rock, Hongxia and Boqi, the last book already sewed Lonely Rock into it in a way that doesn’t fit the worldview ()

Well, speaking of the last book, I didn’t listen to the advice of my friends in the group and insisted on sewing so much, and in the end I really didn’t have the ability to collect all of it ()

But anyway, my inspiration for Lonely Rock was used up in that book.

And as long as you click on my resume as an author, you will know how wonderful it is...

Real Teaching (not signed), Collapse (first signed), Battle (Gu), Real Teaching (signed), Qing Fei Ri (signed), and then this one...

I am a very improvisational writer—

Just write whatever you want to write.

And what I’ve seen recently will have a great influence on my writing.

For example, I read "滚" before I started the previous book, so I added "滚" to the previous book.

I finished reading A Certain Magical Index before Honshu, so Honshu, Moon, and the battle that Gu Le had a strong flavor of A Certain Magical Index...

And in preparation for the previous book, I had just finished reading Umineko, so I also sewed some Umineko… I’ll talk about the Umineko in this book later.

Then, once you finish writing a topic, you won’t touch it again for a short period of time…

The next abandoned structure is Kengan Ashura.

The reason is self-evident, Kengan and Bang can never get along together!

The remnant of this setting is the protagonist's Jeet Kune Do (). Why is it retained? Because I was influenced by the ancient military novels and like to set the protagonist's fighting power.

However, I once thought that Kengan's world actually exists, but it is a setting that has nothing to do with the mainstream worldview.

For example, the eldest brother of the protagonist's gym is the one whose arm was broken and he couldn't play for the whole game. The Starfall that the protagonist used to beat Ozawa Misaki was taught by Hatsumi Izumi after he paid for a can of beer...

Although the second tiger flow finally came out.

Speaking of this, the protagonist's talent is actually a comprehensive upgraded version of the evolution of the Turtle King. I think everyone should have seen this, right?

Anyway, I abandoned this setting.

Then the third abandoned setting... This should not be called an abandoned "setting", but rather an abandoned path.

There is a January anime in 24 called "Sasaki and the Bird of Paradise", which tells the story of an uncle named Sasaki who meets a magician from another world, the Sage of the Stars. After signing a contract, he can learn magic, and then make a fortune by selling things back and forth between the other world and the real world...

Of course, everyone's impression of this show may only be that yandere JC...

This setting is quite interesting, isn’t it?

On the one hand, this satisfied my pursuit of the protagonist's fighting power, and on the other hand, by selling the small things here, I could get precious metals from the other world as coins. Those coins were recast into gold bars and brought to reality, and the protagonist then cooperated with Xiangzi to sell gold...

It can also solve the problem of teachers going bankrupt.

This is even a completely different general direction, and it is also quite worth writing about.

As for the reason for this abandonment, the first reason is that "Sasaki and the Bird-chan" was too flopped.

Except for the yandere JC who has a bit of fame, this work has no popularity at all. Even if mygo is popular, it can't save this book.

(Of course I didn’t plan to write about the old group at that time)

The other is a problem with the light novel itself.

The setting of this book is too noisy.

In addition to the alternate world, this anime also has a superpower plot, where superpowers affiliated with the government fight against illegal superpower organizations.

There is a magical girl line. There are several magical girls who have signed contracts with elves and are hostile to the psychics...

There is an angel-demon line. After the angels and demons make a contract with humans, they fight each other through human apostles, and that JC is the contractor of the demon side...

And there are aliens behind...

Although I have thought about forming a band with birds of prey, people from another world, people with special abilities, magical girls, etc., I gave up because the level is definitely not enough and there is no popularity ()

One of the settings that remains from this general direction is the protagonist’s emptiness.

The protagonist who cannot feel reality because of his excessive talent, learns magic and gradually changes himself by getting along with the magic genius Wenniao Sage who truly loves magic. This was the original plot, but in the end it was cut to a protagonist who cannot feel reality because of his excessive talent...

Of course, the protagonist will change in the end, but it is hard to say how he will change.

As for the other remaining setting... I can't say, but I think it's not difficult to guess.

This is also the main plot of this book... I saw someone said that my main plot is unclear. Well, I have always had a clear concept of the main plot, but the current situation of the protagonist can only be described as negative. Even the chapter I am writing now cannot be said to have officially opened the main plot.

I might as well tell you that what the protagonist has been doing so far is actually "reconciliation."

Make peace with your past, make peace with your heart...

Only after reconciling with someone can the main storyline officially begin.

Now that I have talked about the discarded settings, let’s talk about the settings that I retained.

K-ON!

Actually, I thought about writing about K-ON! in my previous book, but when I was catching up on K-ON!, that book had already been started, so I had to give up with regret.

In fact, when the setting of this book was finalized, I thought at least three times whether to remove K-ON!. Doesn't the protagonist's experience in Hirasawa's family seem a bit redundant? Shouldn't it be enough to just set the protagonist to be adopted by the Yamabuki family?

However, the protagonist needs to go through a process of constantly learning, constantly learning and getting tired, and then realizing that his heart is empty. The Yamabuki family has several children, and Yamabuki's mother is in poor health, so they cannot provide this condition...

In addition, because I, the author, like Hirasawa Yu very much, the setting of K-ON! was retained.

Then it’s the sea cat.

I think everyone must be curious why this book has sea cats sewn on it.

This is something that only my small circle knows about. People in my small circle have always said that ave mujica is very similar to Umineko and is the spiritual sequel to Umineko.

In addition to some settings, such as the fact that the Toyokawa family and the Umineko mansion have the same prototype, the circle I am in has always joked that Shoko is Beatrice and Soyo is Kinzo.

soyo: Oh oh oh, let me see your smile again, Toyokawa Shoko!

Then, there is some subtle fate.

The voice actress of Hatsuka, Lizi Sasaki, sang a song for Umineko, and the voice actress of Umineko, Haruna Aoki, played the role of Zhu Zhixiang in the stage play...

Of course, the most important thing is that after the PV of Ave Mujica came out, the mural of Xiangzi was recognizable as Umineko at first glance.

I also copied an inscription myself and posted it in the comment section, you can go and take a look.

cough cough.

In fact, I tried to incorporate Umineko in my previous book, but I couldn't write it well in the end...

But actually, what I need most for Umineko is the background of Ushiromiya. As everyone knows, it is easier to have a harem if you have a chaebol background, and I also like Enju, so I have this setting.

Then, I think many of the Umineko fans got into the game through Higurashi, right? I did too.

By the way, this is not a waste of time - the protagonist has indeed participated in Higurashi's story in countless past lives and has become the key to breaking the deadlock... This may be mentioned later, so let's put it aside for now.

However, I have thought about letting Rika Furude and Satoko come down to play - they happen to be the incarnations of Beren and Lambda.

But this is useless and will not happen.

Then I seem to have mentioned before that the original name of this book was "The Male Student in the Moon Forest, Aspiring to Become a Meal Substitute"?

This was the original name of this book, because as you can see, the protagonist joined the Ushiromiya family and was forced to give up his inner self. So the original intention was to highlight his behavior of diverting his attention to eating substitutes...

As a result, after writing about chapter 20, when I wrote about Hirasawa Yu, I realized that I had deviated from the original theme.

The protagonist is not overly obsessed with meal replacements.

The original introduction was this.

Ushiromiya Katsuto, formerly known as Hirasawa Ei, was originally an adopted son of the Hirasawa family. He lived a quiet and happy life in Sakuragaoka with his two sisters.

However, his life was disrupted by the family's inheritance investigation and someone who inexplicably quit the band.

He lost everything and was even asked by his family to become the only male student in the famous girls' school, Tsukinomori.

However, things don't seem that bad.

The cute and silly eldest sister and the virtuous second sister, don’t you think they are very similar to the woman who talks about the leaping stars all day long and the daughter of the bakery manager?

Crychic disbanded? No problem, I can go to Morfonica, the higher-ranking version of Crychic, and it just so happens that my childhood friend is the lead singer.

They are all meal replacements though.

"As we all know, cucumbers are a must-have meal replacement for people who want to lose weight. Miss Yuezhisen grows them herself, and they are green and organic. Facts have proven that meal replacements are more delicious than regular meals... Mu, what are Xiaobai and Deng fighting about?"

"They are fighting over who is whose meal replacement."

I plan to use the collision between Xiaobai and the lamp as the biggest selling point (of course it still exists now).

Then, between changing the topic and revising a manuscript that already had tens of thousands of words, I chose to change the topic...

Then there is the Hercules presented at the beginning.

I actually think the title Hercules is a good one. After all, the protagonist’s name comes from Hercules, and his life will be like that of this great hero, constantly overcoming trials and finally becoming a god.

but……

I also think the Jujutsu Kaisen-style introduction is pretty good... but several people said that they didn't want to read it after reading the title and introduction, so I was forced to change it...

Hey.

As for Bang, I naturally got into Bang after watching mygo, but I still prefer kirakiradokidokidoki's Poppin Party.

That’s the idea of the setting, let’s change the topic.

I have said before that this book was a big challenge for me.

Why? Because everyone knows what the Mygo fan fiction is all about. Isn't it just a twisted love story?

I have always had trouble writing romance scenes.

In fact, when I wrote the previous book "Beyond Heaven", I had already learned the method of conceiving event-based writing - but I still didn't know how to drive the story mainly with the emotional line.

So, I want to challenge myself.

I tried to write a good emotional line... but it didn't feel very good.

I cannot guarantee how reasonable the emotional line of this book is or how well it is written. I can only say that I will take every emotional line and every female character seriously and try my best to write them well and reasonably.

Then let’s talk about the book itself.

Let me first talk about my definition of the protagonist.

If we want to talk about the protagonist, the first thing we have to talk about is naturally the void.

The emptiness brought by his excessive talent made him feel unreal. He didn't know how to fill the emptiness in his heart, and could only get temporary satisfaction by learning new things and overcoming difficulties again and again.

There is a feeling of self-paralysis.

However, my other definition of it is a white hole.

The gravity is different from the black holes we are familiar with.

The protagonist realizes the emptiness in his heart and realizes that if he allows himself to be too close to others, he will definitely hurt others.

Just like what Shengren and Nanami said, "If you know you'll get bored of a relationship, then don't do it."

Although he is empty inside, he has not lost the most basic values of kindness. He knows that when getting along with others, he cannot learn things by himself and throw them away if they become boring.
