Really fragrant!

Chapter 4 Tarot Club

After Lin Nuo adjusted his state through meditation, he took out a crucible and began to make the potion. This step was not difficult for him at all.

According to Lin Nuo's own judgment, any modern person who knows how to cook instant noodles will not make mistakes in this regard.

Add the ingredients in exact quantities one by one, stir them, and that's it.

Lin Nuo glanced at the sky outside. It was about noon, and the golden sunlight shone on the curtains without any trace of crimson.

He placed the statue of the original witch on the desk in front of him and adjusted his spirituality to the best state.

Then he picked up the magic potion in front of him that was as bright as the stars and drank it all.

The cool liquid flowed down the throat and into the stomach, and every cell in the body felt satisfied and full.

Lin Nuo's spirit began to absorb the extraordinary power contained in the astrologer's potion. Everything went so smoothly until he suddenly heard layers of whispers in his ears.

hum~

An illusory crimson moon seemed to appear in front of Lin Nuo's eyes, followed by noisy whispers like a storm and waves.

Lin Nuo knelt on the ground with his forehead covered in pain. His spirit seemed to be pulled out of his body. Every bit of mental power that was integrated into every drop of potion and belonged to every cell had suffered some kind of strong contamination.

His sweat ran down his cheeks and soaked the carpet. His skin began to turn red and emit white steam, like a prawn about to be cooked.

Lin Nuo held his head tightly with both hands. He did not seek the protection of the Original Witch immediately. He knew very well that he could not pin all his hopes on the so-called gods.

"Oh, if that's all."

He sneered, his grey eyes like broken mirrors filled with intense madness.

Lin Nuo's body was still shaking uncontrollably, but he still controlled his body steadily and began to absorb the power contained in the potion. The starlight emanating from his body became weaker and weaker.

The power of the astrologer's potion was finally absorbed by him and did not run wild in his body...

When Lin Nuo breathed a sigh of relief, his spirit suddenly began to give a strong warning, and Lin Nuo's face suddenly became very ugly.

"Why? That's not fair."

He only had time to shout out in resentment before he was drowned out by the repeated whispers in his ears.

Unlike the unclear mumbling before, the thing that frightened Lin Nuo happened again. He found that the overlapping mumbling in his ears seemed to have become more... clearer.

In the extraordinary world, you hear sounds that others cannot hear, see things that others cannot see, and encounter things that others will not encounter.

The stronger the inspiration, the more it will be affected by dangerous things.

Lin Nuo wailed in pain, accompanied by increasingly clear mutterings in his ears. All kinds of complicated hallucinations appeared before his eyes. An illusory light gate seemed to appear in front of him, and the densely packed eyeballs looked like twinkling stars.

"what!"

He banged his forehead against the ground in pain, trying to use the physical pain to dispel the constant mental torture he was suffering. The spiritual energy absorbed from the potion also began to become restless, contaminating and distorting the cells in his body.

"Dong dong!"

"The source of all disasters..."

Lin Nuo climbed up from the ground in pain, with bright red blood running down his forehead and cheeks. He touched the statue of the original witch on the table with a dazed look in his eyes.

All Lin Nuo could see in front of his eyes were patches of flashing colors alternating with each other, and he heard overlapping whispers that came and went, until his palm touched a round object.

The deep red ripples submerged everything in sight like waves.

----

Monday, October 7.

"A fool who does not belong to this era."

"The mysterious master above the gray fog."

"The King of Yellow and Black who controls good luck."

It took Klein Moretti about a whole morning to design a spell directed at himself.

"I'd better experiment with it before the tarot session starts this afternoon."

In order to ensure that there would be no problems with the next Tarot session, Klein silently recited the spell he had prepared, walked four steps backwards, and arrived above the gray fog.

Above the gray fog, in a palace that towered like a giant's residence, Klein sat down at the head of a long bronze table with twenty-two high-backed chairs.

"It seems that my ritual was really successful!"

Klein whispered, tapping his brows as thick grey mist enveloped his entire body.

"Even if Miss Justice became a spectator, she wouldn't be able to see anything because of the gray fog."

It was almost three o'clock in the afternoon, and Klein pointed at the two familiar crimson stars without having time to think about it.

In front of the two crimson stars, a crimson star that was closest to Klein and was constantly expanding and shrinking caught Klein's attention.

As a newly reincarnated time traveler, Klein still had some small habits from the modern era that he hadn’t completely changed.

For example, when he saw a popping prompt box, even if his mind had not yet come to its senses, his hand had already subconsciously clicked on it.

The next moment, three figures shrouded in gray mist appeared in the magnificent palace.

Mr. Fool quickly withdrew his mischievous hand. Under the cover of the gray mist, no one noticed the deep surprise and embarrassment on the face of this mysterious strong man.

Miss Justice also saw the new member and was about to greet him enthusiastically.

But the keen observation given by the audience allowed Miss Justice to discover that something was wrong.

The unknown gentleman rested his hands on the mottled ancient bronze table, his hands gently pressing on both sides of his temples, and his breathing was a little heavy.

"Hush, he's not in a good state. He seems to be losing control."

"The Hanged Man" Alger narrowed his eyes slightly. He glanced at the silent Fool who was at the top of the bronze table, and whispered a reminder to Miss Justice.

Oh my god.

"Justice" Audrey covered her mouth in surprise. She didn't make any sound, but just looked at the poor man with sympathy.

In the previous Tarot meeting, Audrey heard Mr. "The Hanged Man" repeatedly emphasize how dangerous it would be if a supernatural being lost control.

But when she took the potion herself, it went smoothly and she didn't seem to feel any danger...

Not until she saw it with her own eyes did Miss Justice suppress her excitement and pride in becoming a transcendent.

After a long silence, Lin Nuo opened his tightly closed eyes. After losing the interference of the overlapping whispers from the outside world, he calmed down the restless spirit in his body.

He looked around in confusion and bewilderment.

"Where is this?"

"The goddess's kingdom? Or am I dreaming now?"

Chapter 5 Mr. Lover

Lin Nuo looked at the mysterious palace around him that was as ancient and magnificent as a giant's residence, and realized that he had now left his body and was living safely as a spirit, so he couldn't help but ask.

He didn't think that other than the Original Witch, there would be any other god who would be so 'kind' as to help him.

After Mr. Fool and Miss Justice heard Lin Nuo mention the words "goddess" and "kingdom of God", they looked at him with much friendlier eyes.

The goddess mentioned in Loen language is naturally the goddess of night.

The two believers of the night never thought of any other possibilities.

"I'm sorry to tell you sir, you're not dreaming."

Miss Justice smiled and stood up and asked the Fool for instructions.

“Mr. Fool, please allow me to introduce our Tarot Club to our new members.”

The Fool nodded in an unfathomable manner, quite like a big boss.

"Sir, this is the Tarot Club."

"You can choose a tarot card as your code name."

"We are a friendly organization that exchanges intelligence and paranormal materials."

Miss Justice introduced the current situation to Lin Nuo with a sense of ownership.

"Oh."

Lin Nuo nodded and listened to Miss Justice's introduction, while silently reciting the honorable name of the Original Witch in his heart.

"The source of all disasters."

"A symbol of destruction and doom."

"The witch who controls chaos."

After Miss Justice's introduction, he knew very well that he might be targeted by some evil god.

Compared to this unknown evil god, the original witch that we currently believe in is more reliable.

"So sir, what code name would you choose?"

Miss Justice asked curiously.

Lin Nuo looked at Miss Justice's curious gaze, feeling that his prayers had not been answered at all.

He felt like he might have been abandoned by the original witch.

What is more likely is that this unknown space could hinder his prayers to the outside world.

"Lovers!"

He replied expressionlessly.

"what?"

Miss Justice asked again in some surprise.

Klein the Fool and Alger the Hanged Man also looked at Mr. Lover strangely.

“I think this card is very interesting.”

"The Lovers card symbolizes choice and commitment, as well as love, cooperation, and intimate relationships."

Lin Nuo didn't understand why this organization used Tarot cards as its code name.

But he had read Emperor Roselle's diary, and he knew very well that Emperor Roselle had created a set of blasphemous cards.

Tarot cards can usually be used for divination, which may be used to write articles in the field of mysticism.

So Lin Nuo did not choose the most appropriate Magician card, but instead randomly picked a card that was not strongly related.

Lovers card!

He maintains unclear relationships with many members of the Witch Cult.

So this card can point to him to a certain extent in mysticism.

But the connection is the least close in terms of love luck.

"The appearance of the Lovers card means that we need to pay attention to the issue of trust between people."

"My choice of this card also shows my determination to integrate into the Tarot Club."

Lin Nuo smiled at everyone in the Tarot Club.

Klein glanced at the light gate pattern that appeared on the chair behind his lover, but he had not yet figured out what the mysterious symbol represented.

The Hanged Man Alger smiled silently, obviously not believing what the lover said.

Only Justice Audrey was somewhat happy with Lin Nuo's answer. She felt that she also had a share of the credit for Mr. Lover being able to integrate so quickly.

"Ma'am, sir, have you found Roselle's diary?"

Klein didn't continue to dwell on Mr. Lover's question. He tapped his brows and asked with a smile.

"I found two pages of Russell's diary and memorized its contents."

“I only memorized one page.”

Hearing Mr. Fool talking about serious matters, the Hanged Man and Justice also became more serious.

"very good!"
