The man in the center of my sight had a slight smile on his face: "How does it feel to play the 'bad guy'?"

The girl's eyes flickered for a moment, but she finally lowered them as if admitting defeat, and said with a wry smile:

"That's terrible."

……

As much confidence as Toyokawa Shoko has in her own talents, she is also as afraid of the foreseeable future self who will one day be overwhelmed by her infinitely inflated self-esteem.

She didn't know how to avoid that future.

Because she found that since she became conscious, the education she received was helping her become that kind of person - so she could only escape passively, trying hard to adapt to a life she had never experienced, trying hard to keep the little spark in her heart and fight against her layers of accumulated past.

In that case, it would be better to cut everything off before "I enter such a future".

——Let yourself play the role of the only villain, get ahead of the predetermined fate, and become the only reason to break everyone up.

Before losing the patience to wait for them to grow, before the malice from Fengchuan pollutes their talents.

Before that horrific beast chasing after profit pounces on the girls' precious dreams and tears out the flesh and blood called value.

Let them hate themselves. Let them despise themselves. Let them still remember their own power. Let them cast off the shackles of this evil man when their passion is at its peak.

This is the "win-win" solution that Shoko Toyokawa came up with.

She can get rid of the responsibility derived from her previous thoughtless decision, and they can also avoid the result of being dragged into a struggle that does not belong to them by Toyokawa Shoko.

Although someone is bound to be heartbroken in the process, Xiangzi feels that even if they give up music from then on, it is much better than a future where they will be controlled by someone wearing the name of "Toyokawa" like a puppet.

The plan went smoothly.

Whether it was the loss of Deng, Li Xi's anger, or even the indifference shown by Mu, they were all within Xiangzi's expectations.

Even Su Shi's struggle—no, now it seems, that should be called a "counterattack"—was more or less part of Xiangzi's plan, marked with a few asterisks as a problem that must be solved.

The only thing she hadn't counted for was... herself.

Just looking at the lamp, which looked more fragile than glass, she could hardly bear the pain in her heart.

Just hearing Li Xi's questioning, which was colder than ice, she almost couldn't resist the urge to turn around and run away.

Mu's cold words clearly helped her sever her connection with the band, but she felt that the scenes in her mind were still as beautiful as if they were shining brightly. The memories shared by all of them were also split in two by that sentence.

It seemed that from that day on, she really had nothing left.

——Deep down in my heart, I was crying so sadly, my extremely weak self.

I am so hateful for being like that.

The girl tilted her head to look at the bright moon hanging high in the night sky, with lingering sorrow in her eyes.

"Today too, I craved warmth... and betrayed what I should have done."

Half talent, half determination, half planning.

Today, perhaps it is the half-baked result caused by those immaturities.

Even if I continue playing house wine with everyone now, I will have to face the same decision later. As the bond deepens and we accumulate more achievements together, it will not be as easy to separate again.

It is obvious that if we just end all this sooner, we can both get over the pain sooner.

Now, because of her naivety, she has returned to the starting point overnight...

"I, this is really, really ridiculous."

"..."

Baodeng Zheli looked at the mud flower that was blooming unyieldingly under the moonlight. He wanted to smile, but he couldn't find the right expression. He could only shake his head and said softly:

"You're too hard on yourself."

“——————.”

The girl's eyelashes fluttered. She timidly lowered her head and stared at the shadow at her feet for a long time, then finally raised her head.

"...I won't go into the terrible consolation. I'm sure you've convinced yourself countless times."

She had seen him countless times, and could almost draw a picture of his outline based on her impression - at this moment, he was concentrating the moment with a pair of burning and intense eyes, making it completely overlap with a sunny afternoon in her memory, as if he could accompany her to watch over the dream that was shivering in the long night.

"Trust me. ...I have no evidence, no achievements, nothing. But please believe me."

"————I will protect your 'destiny'."

At night, under the moonlight, the man grinned slightly frivolously and tapped his chest.

"So, until you're completely strong, go ahead and act like a spoiled brat. I'm still here."

"..."

Xiangzi opened his mouth and slowly exhaled.

"……I see."

Zhe Li couldn't help but show a relieved expression, "That's good——"

"I finally understand why Sushi-san is so angry."

"…………ah?"

Zhe Li looked at the girl in confusion.

But at this time she had already closed her eyes and walked past him towards home.

……

……

"I'm back--"

"Oh. Xiaoxiang, welcome home."

“——…Huh?”

Before the girl could marvel at the brightly lit house, a man with a haggard face, but who seemed to be trying his best to put on a bright smile, poked his head towards the entrance from what should be the kitchen door.

"Sorry. Um, I bought two bento boxes, but there seems to be something wrong with the microwave?"

"————."

The girl stared at the man's distressed expression in astonishment.

The man paused for a few seconds before slowly walking out the door and looking at his daughter at the entrance from afar.

"Xiaoxiang." He seemed to hesitate for a long time, and in this already overly quiet little room, he whispered in a stiff voice, "Until now... I'm really, really sorry."

"Just a little bit - after dinner, could you listen to me for a moment?"

"..."

Shoko Toyokawa looked at her father.

He seemed to not know what expression to make, and after a long, long moment, he nodded blankly.

"Ah."

Chapter of Lost Stars, Act 1, Summer Time Record: Postscript

Friends meeting for the first time, meeting for the first time.

Long time no see, my friend, long time no see.

I am January 7th.

The story of CRYCHIC has finally come to an end. What do you think?

As described in the introduction, this work itself intends to imitate "A Serious Chef, No Drugs!" (original name: "Gentlemen's Night Diner"), using a restaurant as a relay station to tell a heartwarming story of getting to know characters from different worlds.

In this game, the restaurant is changed into a cafe, but the core elements remain the same, and the theme is naturally just as positive.

Originally, this story should have started from Kivotos. One day, women without halos gradually appeared in Xia Lai's coffee shop, and the lowly women began to compete with each other in wits and courage (?), telling such a chaotic and happy daily life.

But later on, I felt that adding more characters wasn't appropriate for the Chicken Coop series. Kivotos alone was enough to carry the entire series, so I reluctantly gave it up. Otherwise, it would have been quite interesting to see the muscular gorilla Mika Seizono transform into Cross-Z, or the cold arithmetic user Yuuka Hayase transform into the war god Tantan.

I would like to write about it if I have the chance in the future.

Anyway, after I abandoned the idea of BA, when I was thinking about what kind of world and what kind of character the male protagonist should encounter at the beginning, to set an anchor for all his subsequent performances in various different worlds, I watched an animation called "BanG Dream It's MyGO!!!!!".

Thus, a story about a male protagonist designed specifically for Nagasaki Motoyo, and the two of them working together to save CRYCHIC after influencing and growing with each other, came to mind.

Everyone likes to say that Su Shi lacks love and that she is easy to deal with, but I don’t think this character can be understood so one-sidedly.

Although she lacked love in her life, she never asked Crychik for it. She still respected and loved her mother. Even if her mother was busy or dependent on her, she would take her efforts for granted as a sign of love. However, that kind of life still made her feel suffocated and she wanted to withdraw from it.

However, in the story of MyGO, what she tried her best to keep was just a place to live where she could breathe without having to conform to anyone's expectations.

Just this alone took a lot of effort for her, she was just such a poor child.

Such a poor child, when he was almost unable to protect himself, was still willing to lend a helping hand to others and act as a lubricant in the team.

That inherent tenderness, the blind confidence that hard work will inevitably pay off, possesses both the maturity of an adult and the naiveté of a child. It is precisely this pure humanity that is so captivating. I wanted to write a simple story about a child who receives rewards for their hard work.

Because of this, I chose to make the first volume a "pure" MyGO fan fiction.

The elements that existed in the introduction are not even hinted at in this volume.

Even for people who are not interested in double-door and infinite-style games, I hope they can read this story.

A simple story of a boy meeting a girl, infecting the people around him with their enthusiasm, allowing everyone to muster up the courage to make a little change and decorate their own lives with hope.

May this inspire you in your life too.

PS.

It's too tiring to finish the end of the volume, I should go and catch up on the accumulated game progress.

Closed for the weekend. Next update will be on Tuesday at 6:00 AM.

Chapter of the Box, Act 1, Autumn Frost, Falling Maple Leaves, Snow Clears, and the Camellia Sees the Light: Prologue Cat

It's raining.

“Pada da da da…”

The girl's brisk footsteps created a bright sound on the waterlogged stone road, which echoed amid the soundless raindrops falling to the ground. It even sounded gentle and pleasant, as if it could sweep away the accumulated dark clouds.

When pedestrians holding paper umbrellas saw this, they hurriedly called out to the girl, "Little girl, why don't you hold an umbrella?"

"Ah——" The girl stopped in her tracks.

In the drizzle, she could only barely cover her head with her hands. The pair of ribbons that tied up her high ponytail at the back of her head, which should have looked like cat ears, were now wet and deflated in the rain.

"I still have one last family to deliver! Thank you for your concern~"

"Send?" The passerby was stunned for a moment, then he noticed a pair of tails swinging behind the girl as she walked away, and suddenly he understood.

Rumor has it that Komagariya, a well-known courier company in Inazuma, recently hired a young employee with a tail.

She is a "nekomata" named Kirara.

Inazuma was a land where youkai lived, so seeing a youkai in human form wasn't something to be surprised about. It wasn't a common sight, though—most youkai didn't appear in cities.

For example, the "outlying islands" serve as Inazuma's external communication port, and the security forces are particularly stubborn. Ordinary little monsters would not think of provoking the officers and soldiers if they have any brains.

Because she was so rare, people initially discussed this "monster" courier secretly. However, as she became more and more famous for her good service attitude and excellent work skills, even people who had never had her deliveries heard about her deeds.

Now it seems that he is really dedicated.

The passerby looked up at the sky and saw thicker cumulonimbus clouds rushing towards the island on the sea not far away.

"Hey, I hope the little girl doesn't get soaked to the skin later."

……

The rain turned into a curtain, bringing an end to what should have been the afternoon in the alley, and ushering in the long night ahead of time.

The girl looked at the water flowing down the eaves in distress. Occasionally, the cold rain splashed on her, making her shrink back with a "Meow!?"
