...Well, before I knew it, the basic attribute of the blank value monster that was added fiercely back then,

Now there are so many skills that it’s dizzying!

This is the case when Lin Zhiyu currently has 945 redemption coupons in his pocket and has not made any purchases yet!

However, Lin Zhiyu didn't think about it for too long before he had an idea of how to spend the money next.

First of all, when you cleared "Dark Shegan" for the first time, you unlocked the item "Yata Mirror". Lin Zhiyu had been coveting this thing for a long time, and now he finally saved enough money, so he bought it decisively!

[Yata no Kagami]: A sacred artifact controlled by the Yata no Kagami, it has magical powers such as exorcism, reflecting the human heart, and foreseeing life and death. Price: 500 coupons (80% off, originally 2500 coupons)

You get what you pay for. The actual effect of this artifact, which originally cost 2500 redemption coupons, will probably be even more surprising than what the system describes.

Lin Zhiyu spent 400 of the remaining 445 exchange coupons without hesitation and purchased two "Follower Recruitment Posts (Elden Magic Ring World)".

Now the question is... among the three wives in the French Ring world, Lani, Millicent and Melina, which two should be recruited first?

Lin Zhiyu thought about it and decided to recruit them according to their seniority.

Lani, Millicent, and Melina are sisters who are related by blood.

Let’s start with the older sister. I believe the younger sisters won’t have any objections.

Of course Lin Zhiyu would never admit it. He was worried that Lani would get jealous and lose her temper.

After all, among the three wives, Millicent and Melina are more well-behaved.

Lani is the most cold and arrogant.

However, when Lin Zhiyu decided to use the follower recruitment post on Lani first, the Infinity System unexpectedly gave a response that Lin Zhiyu completely did not expect:

[The target person is detected to be in a special state that cannot be recruited. Please select another target.]

…WTF?

What is the special status of not being able to recruit?

Explain the dog system to me! Translate, what does it mean to be in a special state where you cannot be recruited?

However, no matter how Lin Zhiyu asked the Infinite System, the Infinite System's response remained the same:

[The target person is detected to be in a special state that cannot be recruited. Please select another target.]

I have to admit that this kind of purely tool-based system, which is not "intelligent", can sometimes be quite annoying.

You want to fight it.

That's like hitting cotton with your fist, meaningless.

There was no other choice, so Lin Zhiyu finally chose to designate Millicent and Melina as recruitment targets.

This is not impossible.

Just think of it as the system helping you to screen!

As for how to explain it to Lani later...

Dry!

The worst that could happen is sleeping clothes.

Pulling Millicent and Melina along, they let the two sisters help push their older sister's ass and pound Lani hard!

Summary and reflection at the end of the volume. I’m sorry that this volume is not well written and disappoints everyone (with the book club number attached)

(Written at the very beginning, Afan will open a separate "work related" volume, uploading the personal information chapters of the protagonist and the heroines of the Magic Circle, so that readers who don't like the Magic Circle chapter can skip the Magic Circle chapter and read the subsequent chapters, but they can still have a certain understanding of the new skills of the protagonists of the Magic Circle chapter, so that they can continue to read relatively smoothly later)

------------------

Well, I've finally finished writing the Elden Ring World... I ended it with something close to an outline (bitter smile.jpg)

This volume has ninety-six chapters of main text. Based on the progress made in Chapter Ninety-Five, there are still two major plots to be written: "The Mongwen Dynasty vs. Mong, Saving Mikaela, and Recruiting the Valkyries" and "Fighting the Final Boss: Radagon and the Beast of Elden." There's even a smaller plot involving the Great Rune from Larcade, sent by my mother-in-law. But I told you three weeks ago that I'd finish the Circle arc in two weeks at most, and then I said this week I'd probably finish it by Friday or Saturday... I really don't want to drag it out any longer. So, let's just end it right away!

It's better to have a single dungeon fail than to disappoint everyone again and again. If this dungeon isn't finished, at least I can start over right away and try to finish the next one, right?

When it comes to writing, who can claim to be flawless? The key is to learn from your mistakes and keep improving.

I think I'm pretty good in this regard. To be honest, I have been writing books on Shao Nian Meng for quite a long time (this account is Reincarnation of the Dead). I have written several books on Shao Nian Meng before. The first book had an average of 15, the second book had an average of 50, and the third book had an average of 300. If it weren't for the Dharma Ring chapter that I had to catch up on and read, this book would probably be in a very low price now.

Although the continuous improvement in the performance of several books is definitely related to the increase in website traffic, I know that I am making progress with each of my own books.

And I also believe that readers who have read the Ring of Law arc carefully can feel that compared with the previous two volumes, I really tried hard to write this volume well. At the beginning, I wrote it with a very positive and motivated attitude (but what I actually wrote is just difficult to comment on. I know that some readers have never even come into contact with the Ring of Law. They came for the anime and ended up being confused by my writing about soul wandering) - I have no reason to quibble about this. I admit that it was my own brain failure.

I was wrong, really wrong.

In fact, I realized something was wrong when I finished writing the battle festival of this volume (about 40 chapters). After all, the content of the Circle of Magic is so much and the map is so large. It took me more than 40 chapters to finish the battle festival of Galide. So, doesn’t it mean that I have to write at least 200 chapters to finish the Circle of Magic?

So I started writing about the protagonist's "parkour" and began to intentionally speed up the advancement of the plot, but this further reduced the watchability of the Ring of Magic chapter.

It's a vicious cycle, damn!

By the end of chapters 95 and 96, I was exhausted. Just let it go! I was telling myself: Why are you still writing about these battles? Just give the heroines their endings, and then finish the story!

I still feel guilty about not being able to fully write this emotional arc, because I ended up fast-forwarding through the story. But I really like the character of Millicent, so I feel really bad for not being able to fully write this arc.

Originally, I planned to have four heroines in the Circle of Faith arc (Melina, Millicent, Lani, and Cerrien). To speed up the storyline, I had already laid the groundwork for Cerrien's arc, but I abruptly cut it. So, the four heroines became three. And then there was Lani's arc, which was too heavily focused on map-pushing and parkour, and lacked much emotional interaction with Lani. So, the writing wasn't very good, and the content wasn't very rich.

The only thing that I felt was okay was Melina's storyline. I wouldn't say it was very well written, but at least it had a beginning and an end.

In my opinion, Melina has never been a "wooden" character. Perhaps that woodiness is just a disguise. She simply closes her heart from the beginning, unwilling to develop a romantic relationship with the protagonist. The precedents of two would-be kings, Vic and Bernard, clearly demonstrate that witches cannot develop feelings for heroes.

But when Lin Zhiyu, willing to sacrifice his precious fire, risk having his flame drained from the cauldron, or even his own life, in exchange for Melina's life, Melina could no longer maintain her disguise as wood. If Lin Zhiyu died, all her previous disguises would become meaningless. The mission she had insisted on completing would end in a way that was no less painful for her than the arrival of a mad fire.

All in all, of the four original female protagonists and four love lines in The Circle of Justice, only Melina's line was not completely ruined by me (although it wasn't much better either).

And as for the new companions added to the world this time… damn, they're a complete mess. Laura barely gets a scene, and Evelyn only gets a brief succubus characterization with the protagonist, including a brief confrontation and a driving scene. Theresa (Bayonetta) was okay at first. Actually, writing her as a child was just to set the stage for recruiting Bayonetta later. After all, given Bayonetta's character, recruiting her would be incredibly difficult without starting with her childhood. Unfortunately, to keep up with the plot, Theresa, like Laura, disappeared. This shows that when I say my writing is a mess, I'm not being self-deprecating. I'm really aware of my many flaws.

All in all, I will learn from the lessons of this Elden Ring chapter and try to write the next chapters well.

The next world hasn't been decided yet. I actually have plans for subsequent worlds in my outline, but given the current writing process and the major issues with the Circle arc, I'm considering some adjustments. For example, I already planned to write "Makai Knight Ingrid (Taimanin Universe)", but this world will be put later in the order. I'm currently debating whether to write Makai Knight right away. Some friends have also suggested I write Black Beast or High School... Right now, I'm having a hard time deciding which one is best.

Of course, there will be some transitional chapters about daily life, driving, and love, which are not only to enrich the emotional lines between the male protagonist and the female characters in the harem, but also to give myself more time to determine the next world and write a detailed outline.

Finally, I believe that the book friends who can see this are also sincerely willing to support Afen, or are the book friends who have subscribed all the way to the present.

Afen originally didn't want to set up a book club, but after thinking about it, I decided to set up one. This way, everyone can encourage Afen and give Afen some suggestions on story creation, world selection, heroine selection, etc. In addition, Afen may also write some extra stories during the Chinese New Year and put them in the book club.

Volume 4 Vacation

Chapter 1: Flesh-colored stockings, red high heels, and a butt-length coat~

In the evening, the city lights come on.

After returning from the Infinite World, Lin Zhiyu cooked instant noodles at home. God knows what he had eaten in the Elden Ring World before. It was either compressed biscuits exchanged from the Infinite Mall or barbecued meat made from a random sheep killed in the wilderness. The smell was so strong that it was unremarkable, and it had nothing to do with deliciousness.

Comparing these before and after, instant noodles really are a delicacy!

When Lin Zhiyu brought a big bowl of instant noodles from the kitchen to the coffee table in the living room, and then sat down to enjoy it.

"Huh? This is..."

On the sofa next to Lin Zhiyu, Millicent looked at the steaming bowl of instant noodles curiously, and her nose couldn't help twitching.

Beside Millicent, Melina silently observed the cutlery in Lin Zhiyu's hand - they were two long, thin wooden sticks. Why don't people in this world use knives and forks to eat?

Lin Zhiyu couldn't help but smile when he found that the two wives he had brought out from the Magic Circle World using the recruitment post were both curious. He slurped and happily ate a big mouthful of instant noodles before he said to his two wives leisurely:

"This is called instant noodles! How is it? Doesn't it smell delicious? Humph, I asked you if you were hungry just now, and you said you weren't. Are you craving it again now?"

“…” Melina remained silent.

Millicent hunched over, tilted her head forward, and supported her chin with her right hand. She looked at Lin Zhiyu with a gentle expression and said softly:

"I'm really not hungry, please eat quickly."

The corners of the girl's lips curled up slightly, forming a smile.

She loved these peaceful, homely moments.

Isn’t it great to have no corruption, no fighting, and still be able to be with the person you love?

"Tsk! Then when you're hungry later, I'll take you out for a feast! Don't think these instant noodles are delicious. In fact, in this world, this food called instant noodles only has the effect of satisfying hunger. If we really want to talk about delicious food, I can talk to you for three days and three nights and still never finish!"

Suck it~

As he finished speaking, Lin Zhiyu swallowed another big mouthful of instant noodles.

Melina silently observed how Lin Zhiyu used chopsticks. After just a short observation, she understood the convenience of chopsticks as a tableware. She couldn't help but think about the advantages and disadvantages of chopsticks and knives and forks.

How could Lin Zhiyu have imagined that Melina had been looking at him, actually looking at the chopsticks in his hand?

Just when Lin Zhiyu wanted to talk to Melina because Melina had been silent.

"Squeak~"

The half-closed door was opened.

Rin Uehara and Michelle Lee, carrying several shopping bags, walked into the house one after the other.

"We bought the clothes back~!"

After entering the house, Li Meifeng walked quickly to Lin Zhiyu with the shopping bags, gave him a mischievous smile, and then glanced at Millicent and Melina inconspicuously.

Uehara Rin arrived shortly after. She placed her shopping bag on the empty space on the sofa and noticed Lin Zhiyu eating alone. She then started to complain about Lin Zhiyu, asking why he didn't give Millicent and Melina two bowls of instant noodles as well.

"They are not hungry." Lin Zhiyu replied to Uehara Rin, then looked at Li Meifeng and asked her how the clothes she bought were.

"Don't worry, it will definitely suit Millicent and Melina's figures, and they both look very beautiful and very 'private'~" Li Meifeng said meaningfully to Lin Zhiyu.

"Okay! I'll go brush my teeth and rinse my mouth! Then I'll change Millicent and Melina's clothes right away! Since we've come to the modern world, their clothes must be modern clothes!" Lin Zhiyu patted his legs happily, then got up and went to the bathroom.

Uehara Rin stared at Lin Zhiyu as he walked towards the bathroom with a strange look on his face, and whispered to himself, "Why do some people brush their teeth and rinse their mouths right after eating..."

Li Meifeng covered her mouth and smiled, then whispered beside Uehara Rin's head:

"If you were left alone with Lin Zhiyu, would you want him to have a mouth full of the taste of instant noodles?"

Although this is not said particularly directly.

But Rin Uehara immediately understood what Maggie Lee wanted to express.

Thinking of the clothes that Li Meifeng picked, Uehara Rin couldn't help but frowned, labeling Lin Zhiyu and Li Meifeng as slutty in his heart, and then looked at Millicent and Melina.

Meanwhile, Melina and Millicent, feeling lost in the modern world for the first time, sat quietly on the sofa, observing Uehara Rin and Li Meifeng with naive eyes. They were both demigods, so of course they could hear what Li Meifeng had just said to Uehara Rin, but they were still young and inexperienced, and still couldn't figure out why Lin Zhiyu had suddenly gotten up to brush his teeth.

Later.

Lin Zhiyu walked out of the bathroom, went to the living room to pick up several shopping bags filled with various clothes, called Millicent, and took Millicent into his bedroom.

“Snap! Snap!”

As soon as he entered the bedroom, Lin Zhiyu immediately closed the door and locked it.

When Millicent heard the sound of Lin Zhiyu locking the door, she felt inexplicably anxious.

"I...what are we going to do?" The red-haired girl asked Lin Zhiyu with a little restraint.

Actually, the word "girl" might not be the most appropriate to describe Millicent right now. After all, her complete body, now fused with the Great Rune, stood over two meters tall, and at first glance, she didn't even look like a girl.

Moreover, her body is curvy where it should be curvy and twisted where it should be twisted. She is basically a big, plump car that only exists in books!

"Ahem, didn't I just tell you that I would change you and Melina into clothes that suit the style of this world?" Lin Zhiyu approached Millicent and raised his hand to stroke Millicent's hair.
