Just arrived at Marvel, the system rewards the Man of Steel

Clint Barton, the co-pilot, was fiddling with his compound bow and chuckled. "I bet five bucks it's a retirement plan."

Adam looked away from the window and tapped his knuckles against his knee.

His eyes were calm, almost indifferent.

"He mentioned someone."

"Who?" Natasha raised her eyebrows.

"Superman."

The car was silent for a few seconds as Adam uttered the word.

"Fury said he could blow up buildings with one punch, shoot lasers from his eyes, and freeze entire streets with his freeze breath." He paused.

"It sounds like something out of a comic book."

Clint whistled. "Welcome to the club. Until last week, I was still skeptical it was some projection prank by Stark. Who knew he'd show up around the globe just two days ago?"

"Also participated in Stark's council."

"So, Adam, you're here after all," Natasha pointed out.

Adam's eyes narrowed. "Because if such people really exist, the world either needs more guardians."

He raised his hand, and suddenly a faint blue energy wave appeared in his palm. "If this person is not capable, then a check and balance will be needed."

“But it seems to be good.”

Chapter 53 Blue Marvel vs. Hulk

"According to satellite thermal imaging, Banner's cabin is in the valley two kilometers ahead."

Clint Barton adjusted the tiny display on his watch, his compound bow resting across his lap.

"The military's last search was three days ago. He should still be there."

Adam withdrew his gaze from the window and said, "Are you sure you want to do this? It's not a wise choice to anger the Hulk."

"Fury's orders." Natasha turned the steering wheel and the vehicle turned into a dirt road almost covered by weeds.

"And we have you, don't we? Mr. Former Strongest Human."

The car was silent for a few seconds. Adam's mouth twitched slightly. "That title is long gone."

The vehicle suddenly jolted, and a dilapidated wooden house appeared in the woods ahead, with wisps of white smoke rising from the chimney.

"Here we are."

Natasha turned off the engine and the three of them checked their equipment in tacit understanding.

Clint strapped on his quiver, while Adam simply adjusted his jacket; he never needed a weapon.

The open space in front of the wooden house was overgrown with weeds. A squirrel was startled and quickly jumped up a pine tree.

Natasha walked in front and raised her hand to signal the other two to keep their distance.

She knocked gently on the wooden door, and there was a flurry of hurried noises from inside the house.

"Who?" Banner's hoarse voice came through the door.

"Dr. Banner, I'm Natasha Romanoff from S.H.I.E.L.D. We have no ill will, we just want to talk."

After a long silence, the door opened a crack.

Banner's haggard face appeared through the crack in the door, his eyes bloodshot behind his glasses: "S.H.I.E.L.D.? What's the difference between you and the military?"

Natasha gave him a reassuring smile. "That's a big difference. We're not here to arrest you. We want to help."

Banner's gaze swept over the two men behind her, lingering on Adam for a few seconds: "Bringing armed men to help? How thoughtful."

"Necessary precautions, Doc," Clint shrugged.

"We all know that the friend inside you has a bad temper."

Banner's frown deepened, but he still moved aside to open the door: "Five minutes. Leave when you're done."

The wooden house was simple but tidy, with the walls covered with handwritten formulas and drawings.

A small generator hummed in the corner, powering a few rudimentary instruments.

Banner gestured for them to sit down, while he leaned against the table, keeping a safe distance.

"Just tell me, what do you want?" Banner said straight to the point.

Natasha leaned forward. "A research position, safe housing, and, when appropriate, assistance, or, like us, joining the Avengers."

"assist?"

Banner looked at them calmly, "You want to turn me into a weapon."

"No, it's a precaution."

Adam suddenly spoke in a low voice, "There are more and more people like Superman. The world needs balance."

Banner's pupils shrank slightly. "Have you seen him? The guy flying around in a black battle suit?"

"Fury has seen it."

Clint interjected, "He also became Stark's partner. So Fury felt it was time to form his own insurance."

Banner's fingers tapped the table unconsciously: "To be honest, I'm not very interested.

Even if I agree, how can you guarantee that the military won't come to trouble me again? General Ross treats me as his white whale."

"Fury has his ways," Natasha said confidently.

"By special authorization of the President, all cases against you have been sealed."

Banner suddenly stood up and paced back and forth in the small space. "You don't understand. This isn't a legal issue. The Hulk is getting harder to control. The last time he transformed, I nearly killed a whole team of soldiers."

His voice began to tremble. "I can't take any chances!"

Adam keenly noticed that Banner's breathing became rapid and his fingers began to twitch involuntarily, which was a sign of transformation.

"Doc, calm down." He stood up and made a soothing gesture with his hands.

"Take a deep breath."

But it was too late.

Banner bent over in pain, an unnatural green color appearing under his skin: "Go... You must... leave..."

The air in the cabin seemed to freeze.

Natasha and Clint quickly retreated, while Adam stood in front of them, and blue energy began to flow around him.

"Roar!!!"

Amidst a deafening roar, Banner's body swelled and deformed, his clothes were torn, and Hulk broke out of his body!

The wooden house was shattered into pieces by the huge impact, and wood chips and glass fragments flew everywhere!

Natasha did a backflip and jumped out of the danger zone. Clint had already drawn his bow and arrow on the bowstring: "Dr. Banner! Calm down!"

But what responded to him was a huge green fist, roaring towards him with a strong wind!

Adam blocked with both hands and took the punch head-on. The air was compressed to the limit, making a sharp explosion!

The dark blue antimatter energy formed a barrier in front of him.

The moment the two forces collided, the shock wave spread in a spherical shape, the trees within a radius of 100 meters were uprooted, and spider-web-like cracks appeared on the ground!

Adam's feet sank deeply into the ground and he slid back more than ten meters before he came to a stop.
