Snape, the Sunshine of Hogwarts

Not only him, but also old Lu Ping, who had just gotten out of bed, froze in place, his face turning pale and his eyes filled with disbelief.
Aside from Granger, who was completely bewildered, even Ghost Snape held his breath at this moment.
"Can you feel your arm getting hot?" he couldn't help but ask.
Severus gave a clear answer.
"No, I'm quite sure. Voldemort couldn't possibly be back this quickly, and the reappearance of that skeleton couldn't possibly be something he did to gather his men."
“Don’t call me that name!” Ghost Snape couldn’t help but shout.
"What should I call him? Dark Lord? I'm not that obsequious."
After once again leaving Snape speechless, Severus, without hesitation in reality, put on his robes and stood up.
"Could you introduce me to Mr. Doss?"
Polk naturally did not refuse Severus's request, and they soon met Mr. Dawes, who had just boarded the car, on the first floor.
This was a short, thin wizard wearing glasses.
"Where did you see the Dark Mark?" Severus asked bluntly.
"On that cliff near the coast! My God, the Daily Prophet's people have gone mad! They're saying this was just a minor attack! That's the Black Mark! It's their symbol!"
Mr. Dawes was clearly terrified; he was still trembling.
“If you’re here in Eastbourne for a holiday, I advise you to leave as soon as possible! Those people are wicked and have gotten together again. Who knows what they’re up to!”
Severus simply thanked him, and then got off the bus with old Lupin and Granger.
“It’s definitely related to those werewolves,” Severus said definitively. “Ten years ago, they were Mystic’s mercenaries, but they were always looked down upon by the Death Eaters. Greyback was even called a scavenger. They wouldn’t suddenly and inexplicably put up the Dark Mark now.”
Old Lu Ping frowned and said.
"Could it be that Death Eaters have contacted them?"
"Of the Death Eaters who escaped the Azkaban sentence after that great trial, how many would step forward and do something like this now?"
Severus shook his head. Just as Lucius understood him, he also understood Lucius's group.
This is a bunch of opportunists who won't act until they see results; as long as Voldemort hasn't officially announced his return, they're unlikely to change their stance.
As for the diehards among the Death Eaters, almost all of them were imprisoned in Azkaban to serve as nourishment for the Dementors.
However, just as Severus was thinking about this, he suddenly paused and remembered something from the original story!
Both Lupin the Elder and Granger noticed his unusual behavior and turned to look at him.
"What did you think of?"
"Before coming to investigate this group of werewolves, Minister of Magic Bagno mentioned to me that these werewolves seemed to have spies within the Aurors, and they could know in advance whatever was happening within the Aurors."
Severus's eyes were unreadable, and a mocking smile appeared on his lips.
“I just remembered that a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Magic should be hiding an old acquaintance of mine in his house right now—a Death Eater who should have been dead in Azkaban!”
Granger didn't understand anything when he heard this news; he didn't even know what kind of people the Death Eaters were.
But old Lu Ping was somewhat alarmed.
Is a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Magic hiding a Death Eater?
“But we can’t do this alone.” Severus had already thought of the next step. “Before we go to the sea cliff that Mr. Daws mentioned, we need to find an owl. Kingsley will want to see me write to him.”
Werewolf Camp.
After the Dark Mark lit up last night, Greyback led a portion of his men to the sea cliff cave where the Portkey had been located.
This place is unusually secluded, and the cave has been enchanted, so even if a wizard gets close, he wouldn't be able to detect anything unusual.
Those brought here included the group of children who had been captured, and Lupin, who was now only able to act as a nanny.
Upon arriving at the cave, Lupin remained calm and collected despite his strong suspicions about Harry's identity, as there were other people around.
It wasn't until the next morning, when Lupin brought them breakfast, that he finally had a brief opportunity to be alone with Harry and the others.
Apart from the boy named Jimmy who still had a fever, the other children were also in a lethargic state. They had been frightened for so many days and had not been able to get proper rest.
Harry and Hermione, who had just arrived, seemed to be in good spirits, as evidenced by their appetites during meals.
Lupin ate breakfast with them, pretending to be nonchalant from the start, chatting with Jimmy and the other kids he already knew.
"There will be beef for lunch."
"Is it baked?" One of the boys asked, a rare hint of anticipation in his voice.
"Probably, there's not much else we can do under the current conditions," Lupin replied, then casually added, "Harry, could you pass me the applesauce?"
Harry, who was originally thinking about how to find a chance to escape, and even if he couldn't escape, he wanted to find a way to leave clues for Severus, subconsciously picked up the applesauce next to him.
But the next moment, he realized what was happening, his hair stood on end, and he looked up sharply at the man who had called out his name!
Lupin simply remained silent, looking directly into his eyes.
Chapter 80 Who is your teacher!
"Mr. Peter, I think I misheard you. Are you calling me?"
Harry swallowed hard, his voice becoming hoarse, and asked nervously.
Lupin smiled at him, not pressing Harry for more information, and simply said softly.
"You must have heard me right, I was calling you just now. Aren't you called Dali?"
Harry remained vigilant; he was certain he hadn't misheard.
The man in front of me is clearly calling me "Harry"!
Logically speaking, apart from Dumbledore and Severus, no one should know his name.
Under such circumstances, Harry certainly couldn't insist that the person in front of him, whom the other werewolves called "Remus Peter," had just called him by his real name, "Harry."
He could only barely suppress his unease and doubts and continue eating his breakfast, while secretly observing this "Mr. Peter".
After receiving the applesauce, the werewolf acted as if he were really calling "Dudley" instead of "Harry," and resumed his normal behavior, chatting with the children around him who had come to trust him about what lunch would be like.
There is nothing unusual about it.
This performance left Harry somewhat confused again.
Could it be that he really misheard?
However, Lupin's true emotions at this moment were far from the calm and relaxed state he appeared to be.
When he tentatively called out "Harry," and the boy, using the alias Dudley, so naturally agreed to hand him the applesauce, he had already made up his mind.
This is James and Lily's son!
This discovery nearly drove him mad.
Lupin couldn't understand why Harry Potter was here!
What on earth was Dumbledore doing that allowed him to be captured by such a group of werewolves?
Such emotional fluctuations made Lupin unable to even control his breathing. If Harry had observed more closely, he would have noticed that even though "Mr. Peter" was still talking and laughing, the panic in his eyes and his rapid breathing were unmistakable.
Breakfast time passed quickly.
The werewolves certainly wouldn't give the children any time to roam freely; they could only stay in the cave camp, at most having Lupin tell them fairy tales like "Babbidi the Rabbit and Her Frog Stump."
Even so, besides Lupin, there were other werewolves watching from the sidelines, and even if Lupin had time alone with the children, it would never exceed two or three minutes.
This situation didn't change until close to noon.
Something seemed to have happened outside the cave, drawing the attention of Greyback and the others. Many werewolves followed him out, causing the cave's security to be relaxed, and Lupin finally had the opportunity to be alone with Harry!
He seized an opening, suddenly covered Harry's mouth, and forcibly pulled him behind a rock that jutted out from the cave.
At that moment, Harry's heart sank!
Harry, who already suspected the werewolf recognized him, was filled with despair until Lupin leaned close to his ear and whispered something urgent.
"Harry Potter! James and Lily's son, I know it's you!"
Harry's pupils visibly constricted for a moment when he heard his parents' names from Lupin.
He looked up in shock at Lupin's face.
Yesterday, he went to Nottingham with Severus. He knew he was going to investigate a group of werewolves with his teacher, but he didn't know that there was a Ministry of Magic mole among the werewolves!
“You! Who are you!”
After Lupin released his hand from Harry's mouth, Harry asked incredulously.
“I used to be your father’s best friend.” Lupin stared into Harry’s eyes and said earnestly, “We were classmates in the same house at Hogwarts, and we were practically inseparable!”
His words didn't immediately convince Harry; instead, Harry took a few steps back, his eyes fixed on Lupin.
"You're lying! You're clearly, clearly a werewolf!"
Lupin was silent for a few seconds, then a wry smile appeared on his face.
"Yes, I am a werewolf, the only werewolf who has ever attended Hogwarts. The reason your father and I became best friends is because they didn't care about my werewolf identity. They even went to great lengths to be with me during the full moon!"
He didn't avoid Harry's gaze, but instead met the boy's eyes directly.
Harry saw sincerity in his eyes, but without any evidence, he still couldn't simply believe Lupin's words!
Lupin also noticed Harry's doubts.
Unable to provide further proof, he could only resort to saying something else entirely.
“You may doubt my relationship with your father, but you should be able to see here that those children trust me because I saved them a week ago.”
"The reason those other werewolves abused me and took my wand was because I protected these children and kept them from harm."
"That's enough to prove I'm different from other werewolves, isn't it?"
When Lupin said these words, his tone even sounded like a humble plea.
Just as Harry refused to believe Lupin because of his werewolf identity, Lupin himself hated himself for being a damn werewolf!
Harry believed these words.
After spending the morning together, he and Hermione learned from the children who had been captured earlier what had happened, and they both understood that Lupin was different from the other werewolves in their eyes.
"I can trust you."
After finally receiving a positive answer from Harry, Lupin smiled genuinely.
He patted Harry on the shoulder.
“You look almost exactly like your father when you were a child, but where is the scar on your forehead? And your eyes, didn’t you inherit your mother’s green eyes?”
His words further confirmed that he had seen Harry at least when Harry was very young.
Upon hearing this, Harry explained.
"It was my teacher who helped me disguise myself when she took me out of Aunt Penny's house. She told me that my identity could not be known to others, so I always referred to myself as Dudley Dursley."
Lupin keenly noticed the title "teacher".
"Who? Who brought you out of your aunt's house?"
Harry hesitated for a moment, but quickly figured it out. Now that this "Mr. Peter" had discovered his true identity, he would know who his teacher was from the newspaper whenever he had the chance to read it.
Therefore, he did not hide it.
"My teacher was Severus Snape."
After hearing this answer, the air fell silent.
Lupin was clearly stunned. He stared at Harry in utter shock, his hands involuntarily gripping Harry's shoulders tightly.
"Who do you think your teacher is?!"
"Severus Snape, the Potions professor at Hogwarts and the head of Slytherin."
Chapter 81 You made me doubt my teacher?
Lupin never imagined he would hear that name from Harry.
Severus Snape, tutoring James's son?
