The Pokémon Strider, Infernape, and Mightyena, whose strength was boosted by Professor Nanbo's forced anger through radio waves, are either Dark-type or have a bad temper.

Dr. Nanbo's manipulation was based solely on general instructions.

These Pokémon, driven by rage, fight purely on instinct, and are at a significant disadvantage in terms of skill compared to Pokémon carefully nurtured by their trainers.

Even though the South Wind's elves were three or four levels lower than them, the elemental advantage and skillful counterplay made it a one-sided massacre.

It only took two minutes.

All of Athena and Dr. Nanbo's spirits were wiped out.

Athena didn't just bring three elves; she brought six.

The other two were Vileplume and Roserade. They were then brutally beaten to the ground by Mega Gardevoir's Psychic attack.

Her only Dark Raven couldn't withstand a single "Dazzling Spell".

"To raise a Pokémon, you need at least a 4-star stat, plus good move combinations and dedicated training under my guidance."

"They already possess strength far exceeding what they should have for their level. I suggest that level 70 dungeons can be cleared with ease from now on." Looking at the mess, Nanfeng couldn't help but feel proud.

I thought Athena would be a formidable opponent, as all her Pokémon were of good levels, but they were all Poison-type. Facing a Mega Gardevoir with a Gracietia Flower, no matter what tactics I used, the outcome was the same.

This classification is based on strength level and recommendation level.

Nanfeng was thinking that once his Pokémon reached level 70, he might be able to complete the Hoenn region's Team Magma and Team Aqua bases.

Looking around, he realized he had already defeated Athena, but the dungeon was not yet over.

There are 53 seconds left before A-du arrives in front of him.

"Is there anything left undone?" Nanfeng asked, puzzled. "Could it be that the highest leader of Team Rocket's base in Kagi Town isn't Athena?"

That shouldn't be the case....

Nanfeng thought about it, but had no clue.

Athena, as one of Team Rocket's four generals, is the highest-ranking officer. If even she is not the highest-ranking leader of Team Rocket's base in Kagi Town, then she is not the highest-ranking officer.

Then who should it be?

Apollo?

Could it be Giovanni?

Nanfeng thought it was impossible; such research would likely be overseen by Sakaki himself.

She shook her head slightly. If she couldn't figure it out, she wouldn't think about it. Maybe there would be some follow-up plot when A-Du came over.

While waiting, Nanfeng casually took out his "treasure detector," which he hadn't used in a long time, to see if there were any treasures at Team Rocket's base.

"Buzz!" The treasure detector immediately deflected.

The direction locked is behind Nanfeng, and it is exceptionally firm. Judging from the strength of its firmness, it should be a legendary item!

"Is there another legendary item here?"

The south wind turned around, and behind it was a wall.

"Could it be like Water City, a space behind a wall?" Just as Nanfeng was starting to have doubts, cracks immediately appeared in the wall.

"Boom!" The wall shattered, and a fat arm emerged.

The next second, the entire wall shattered, and Dragonite emerged from it with Lance.

"Athena?" Awatari had just entered when he saw Athena lying on the ground, hypnotized, and was immediately shocked. "You actually defeated and captured her!"

Nanfeng ignored Adu, his gaze still fixed on the Treasure Detector. The direction the Treasure Detector pointed in did not change because of Adu and Dragonite's arrival; it still pointed to the passage that Dragonite had forcibly created behind the wall.

This indicates that the legendary Pokémon items are not on Lance and Dragonite. The legendary Pokémon items on them already belong to someone, and the Treasure Detector wouldn't have detected them.

It seems that the legendary Pokémon item is still somewhere at Team Rocket's base!

Nanfeng didn't even bother exchanging pleasantries with Adu. He immediately recalled all his Pokémon and had Mega Gardevoir take him to find the legendary Pokémon item.

But the south wind shifted by a mere hundred meters in an instant.

When Adu captured Athena in the hall, the scenery before Nanfeng's eyes changed, and he returned to his secret base.

On the handheld console in his hand, the protagonist also returned to the entrance of Team Rocket's base.

The dungeon reward notification is currently displayed above...

[Completed the dungeon "Team Rocket Base - Kaji Town", rewards are as follows:]

[1. Random high-level spirit item]

[2. Rare Skill Cooldown]

【3. Random Team Pokémon MEGA Evolution Stone】(Special reward for first completion)

[4. Random Team Spirit Exclusive Item] (Defeat Athena before Awata arrives to obtain a special reward)

The rewards were all pretty good, but Nanfeng was more concerned about the legendary spirit item that he hadn't had time to get before being teleported out of the dungeon.

Upon attempting to re-enter the Team Rocket base instance, a prompt immediately appears.

[Dungeon Cooldown: 30 days]

It will take a month...

"I wonder if that legendary elf item will still be there when I enter a month from now," Nanfeng thought to himself, feeling a little uncertain.

It's hard to say about the spirit items in the dungeon.

I obtained "Divine Treasure Thunder" in the dungeon. Other spirit items would still refresh, but Divine Treasure never appeared.

"Next time, no matter what dungeon I enter, I'll take out the treasure-hunting device immediately."

Unfortunately, since I can only enter again in a month, I can only wait a month before entering the Team Rocket base instance again.

Check the rewards given by the dungeon.

Random high-level spirit items are equivalent to 0.8 secret treasure-level spirit items.

Morning Light Fire Stone: Can evolve certain Pokémon. When held, all stats increase by 10%, HP recovery speed is doubled, Fire-type move power is increased by 10%, and the effect of Sunny Day is doubled.

"A legendary Fire Stone? That would be perfect for Growlithe."

Nanfeng had long since stopped caring about the Treasure-level Fire Stone; his Steelix evolved using the Mystic-level Metal Coat. He had originally planned to ask his teacher if anyone had one, and then trade it with him for a Mystic-level item. Now, he'd saved himself that trouble.

However, Southwind is not planning to evolve Growlithe right now.

For Pokémon that require items to evolve, you need to fully utilize their potential at this stage before evolving them. This way, their potential and strength will be much higher after evolution!

261. Eurythmic Ribbon

The skill cooldown is "Sunfire".

Sunfire: Power 120, requires charging.

As a Grass-type move, Solar Beam is indeed a powerful move.

However, it has the drawback of needing to charge up, and its power is only 120.

"It's alright, at least it's a Grass-type ultimate move, which is a killing move in sunny weather." Nanfeng put it into his pocket. He had picked up three of the same move with the same cooldown before.

One was found in the Hoenn Safari Zone, one was found on Route 27 in the Johto region, and one was found on Route 21 in the Kalos region.

However, all three South Winds were used on their own elves.

Pokémon that can learn Solar Beam during its cooldown period are Blaziken, Aggron, and Slako. Venusaur learns it automatically, so it doesn't need to waste Solar Beam's cooldown.

Save this skill cooldown for Arcanine. For Blaziken, Aggron, and Arcanine, this is their key trump card against Water-type Pokémon.

Another unscientific move has been added.

Aside from the level 17 treasure spirit item and skill cooldown.

Team Rocket's base dungeon also gives you Mega Stones and exclusive items, which can only be used by Pokémon that are already in your team.

The Mega Stone you obtained is for Blaziken.

Blaziken's position as Southwind's first Pokémon is actually somewhat awkward.

Nanfeng doesn't usually use it, not because it's weak, but because the other companions are too strong.

In the battle against Merage, Nanfeng even defeated it and replaced it with Mega Blaziken. Now that Blaziken can undergo Mega Evolution, its combat power can increase significantly. It can return to the top tier of the team.

The exclusive Pokémon item obtained is Tyranitar's exclusive item, "Ragnaros Ribbon".

Larvitar Ribbon: When held, there is a 15% chance to inflict Flinch when attacking an opponent whose level is 5 levels higher than yours. After 100 Flinchs, the item evolves. (Exclusive to Larvitar, Sargenta, and Tyranitar; does not work when held by other Pokémon)

The effect is so-so, not as good as the "King's Proof" that Nanfeng gave Greninja. Not only is the probability low, but the effect only works on Pokémon whose level is no more than 5 levels higher than its own.

However, this exclusive item can evolve!

This was something Nanfeng hadn't expected!

Tyranitar is currently carrying the Pokémon item Erosion Sand Rock, which has the following effect: extends Sandstorm weather to 15 turns, and reduces Physical and Special Defense by 1% each time it takes Sandstorm damage, stacking up to 20 times.

Having only recently acquired it, Tyranitar has not yet fully absorbed the power within this treasure-level item.

Let's wait and see.

After Tyranitar has absorbed all the nutrients, South Wind will give Tyranitar the "Younggiras Ribbon".

We look forward to seeing how it performs after it evolves.

The rewards from this Team Rocket raid were quite satisfying, and importantly, it means I'll get one more Mystery-level Pokémon item every month from now on.

in addition.....

"I was given the exclusive spirit item by Athena before Adu arrived. If I can defeat Athena before Adu arrives again next time, will I be able to get another exclusive spirit item?" Nanfeng pondered.

I didn't see any mention that the entire reward was a one-time event.

I'll know when I try to defeat Athena again next time.

They went to the Pokémon Center in Kaji Town for treatment, and then Nanfeng took out Flygon and flew to Wakaba Town.

Head east from New Leaf Town and use Red Gyarados to Surf forward to Metropolitan Falls.

There aren't many Pokémon that inhabit the Capital Falls; most are common ones like Magikarp and Goldeen, but you can occasionally see Slowpoke.

We could catch some and raise them in the shop.

I've heard that Slowpoke's tail is a delicious dish...

Ahem, the main thing is that Slowpoke can evolve into Slowbro and then Mega Evolve. If you don't take the Mega Evolution route, it can also evolve into Slowking.

After passing through the Chengdu Waterfall, Nanfeng arrived at the Champion's Road.

Unexpectedly, I haven't even been to the Champion Road in the Hoenn region yet, but I've already come to the Champion Road in the Kanto region.

We haven't encountered any NPC opponents yet.

Nanfeng then witnessed the powerful elves here.

Machamp, Onix, Golem, Rhyhorn, Crobat. Trying to use a sweet scent didn't change the appearance of any of the Pokémon.

The average level of the elves is 46.

This is the highest average level of any Pokémon Nanfeng encountered in the wild. They were probably honed by the trainers who attempted to challenge the Elite Four. Surviving on the Champion Road will be a tremendous test for them.

Nanfeng tries to battle the NPC trainers on Champion Road.

As Nanfeng expected, they were carrying six spirits, each of which was between level 75 and 70.

Their combat power is higher than the standard level 70 of a Gym Leader. But can we say that their strength is absolutely greater than that of a Gym Leader?

That’s not necessarily the case.

Gym Leaders typically use only three Pokémon, and their types are relatively fixed. You can try to defeat these Gym Leaders with a team that has Pokémon that are super effective against them, but against a 0/50 Gym Leader like Nanfeng, who has Pokémon of various types, it won't be so easy to win.

However, with a full team of level 70 Pokémon, Nanfeng's battles against each opponent took 15 to 30 minutes. There's no "choose four out of six" in the game; it's all six-on-six battles.

It was really tiring, but the leveling effect was really good!

The experience gained from one NPC on the Path of Champions is equivalent to that from two Gym Leaders.
