Yulia, after lying in the hospital for three days, fully recovered and was full of energy again. She excitedly went to find Emerald, only to find that there was a new face next to Emerald.

She was a woman with a great figure, wearing a semi-transparent, tight-fitting black robe. Most of her face was covered by the hood of the robe, and only her delicate nose and alluring red lips could be seen.

"You... are you?"

Yulia instinctively felt that the woman in the black robe was somewhat familiar, but she couldn't recognize her at first glance.

"Her name is Anna, and she is my newly recruited magic advisor and personal bodyguard."

Amelie chuckled and gave a brief introduction, then beckoned to the woman in black:

"Come on, Anna, say hello to my heroine... You two may have many opportunities to fight side by side in the future, so it's always good to get to know each other first."

Even through the black hood, Yulia could clearly sense that Anna, the woman in the black robe, looked at her with a very complicated expression for a moment.

But it was only for a moment. Anna was clearly quite obedient in front of Emerald, and quickly stepped forward and extended her hand to Julia:

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Julia. Please take care of me."

"Nice to meet you... Huh?"

Yulia naturally grasped Anna's hand and squeezed it a few times, but those few squeezes seemed to make her realize something.

Yulia withdrew her hand, sniffed it carefully a few times, then made a grasping motion in the air before a look of realization dawned on her. She pointed confidently at Anna:

"I recognize you! You're that arrogant, wicked elf, aren't you? How did you become Amelie's magic advisor and personal bodyguard? Oh, I get it, you must have been captured and severely disciplined by Amelie, and turned into a slave, right? Haha, you deserve it!"

Because her experiences after becoming a mage are very different from those in the original game, Yulia in this world has no pity for elves and only gloats when she sees Viliana's fate.

"I...I didn't, I'm not, you've mistaken me for someone else, don't talk nonsense!"

The woman in black robes' voice trembled noticeably:

"My name is Anna, and I'm human, not some lowly elf!"

"No, you are that wicked elf! Your hood can only cover your face and ears, but your scent and feel can't fool me!"

Julia completely ignored the black-robed woman's excuses, took two steps to Amelie's side, gently nudged Amelie with her shoulder, and winked at her:

"Impressive, Emerald. As expected of a tycoon's daughter who is skilled at manipulating women, you've managed to tame that arrogant and wicked elf so well. Impressive."

"...Okay, Anna."

Seeing that the woman in the black robes was about to say something, Emery sighed and interrupted her directly:

“Take off your hood. Yulia is one of us. There’s no need to hide your identity, and besides, it’s impossible to hide it anyway… You know very well that her senses are quite sharp, don’t you?”

"..."

The woman in the black robes then calmed down, obediently removing her hood to reveal Viliana's beautiful face, white hair, and the long ears that are typical of elves.

"Haha, it really was you, you naughty little devil!"

Seeing this, Julia became even more smug and reached out to grab Viliana's ear:

"Weren't you very arrogant before? Saying that humans are all inferior beings and only elves are the noblest, and that you even wanted to flood Locke City? Why aren't you arrogant now?"

"...Gu, I'm sorry."

Viliana immediately knelt down, answering with somewhat strange, labored breathing:

"I was too ignorant and arrogant before. How could I possibly win against human masters? I couldn't win even if I tried my best. We elves are a lowly species by nature, only fit to be slaves and toys of human masters! If war breaks out again, the entire elven race will surely be defeated and enslaved! Even the queen will eventually become her master's new footstool!"

"Uh……"

This time, it was Yulia's turn to be dumbfounded.

She nudged Ameliette lightly with her shoulder again and pointed at Viliana:

"You didn't ruin her, did you?"

"No, I just helped her recognize her own nature and the true nature of the elves."

Emery shrugged:

"You've studied history, and you've probably spied on a lot of the daily lives of elven slaves, right? Do you think they suffer a lot? That's just how elves are~~"

"Yes, yes, yes~~ This is our elf~~"

Viliana immediately echoed this, and even crawled to Amelie and Julia's feet, kissing each of their boots:

“That’s just how we elves are, born to be trampled underfoot by human adults! I was so ignorant and foolish before, thanks to my master for making me realize my mistakes and giving me a new life.”

"Uh... fine, whatever makes you happy."

Yulia suddenly became a little afraid of Viliana again. She was afraid that the perversion was contagious and also developed a deeper stereotype about the elf race.

"Well, Emerald, you and your new pet have fun. I'm going to work now~~"

"and many more!"

After Julia finished speaking, she tried to leave, but Amélie grabbed her shoulder.

"Um, Emery, is there something else?"

Yulia was somewhat puzzled.

"Of course."

A mischievous smile suddenly appeared on Emerald's face:

"I just wanted to remind you that your debt needs to be recalculated."

"...Debt? What debt?"

Yulia suddenly felt guilty and quickly looked away, trying to play dumb.

"Trying to pull this on me, huh?"

Emery grabbed Julia's face without hesitation, forcing her to look into her eyes:

"Your heroic act of stopping the flood and saving Locke City was really cool, but do you know how expensive that magical costume I tailored for you was? You just used it like a disposable item?"

"You should know that the ownership of that magical costume doesn't belong to you, but to the company, right? You're just the user... huh?"

"Waaah, I'm so sorry~~"

Seeing that she couldn't get away with being cute, Yulia had no choice but to dejectedly admit defeat.

"I will obediently pay back the money; just add it to my existing debt."

Chapter 93 Let's Learn Elf Magic Together

"How...how much?"

Even though she was mentally prepared, Yulia was still stunned and her legs went weak when she saw the long string of zeros after her debt amount.

She looked at Emerald with suspicion:

"Are you kidding me? That magical costume is that expensive? I talked to the M22 team when we were training together, and their total equipment usually only costs between 200 million and 500 million. This is more than ten times that."

“You yourself are a magic craftswoman, Julia.”

Emery simply shrugged:

"Then you should know the difference between mass-produced goods and personalized customization, not to mention that this is tailor-made for you by Merson's top team... Do you know how many mages would rather spend more money to buy this kind of service but can't get it?"

"Goo~~~~"

Yulia let out an extremely lazy cry, slumped into the chair, and spread her legs apart, which were encased in white stockings and thigh-high boots:

"But this debt is too much, I could never pay it off in my lifetime... Why don't you just take me home and let me sleep with you, Emerald?"

"In your dreams!"

Emery rolled her eyes:

"You really think your sleeping with me is worth that much money? The only way you can pay off your debt is to obediently work like a slave for me!"

“...Damn capitalists.”

Yulia puffed out her cheeks and muttered something, but like a dried mushroom soaked in water, she slowly regained her energy, got up from the chair, and prepared to leave:

"Then I'll go get to work... I spent a few days in the hospital before, and I don't know how many people who needed my help were in trouble."

"Wait first!"

Emerald grabbed Julia's cloak and pointed to Viliana beside her:

“Anna is mine now, isn’t she? I talked to her before and found out that there’s a relatively uncommon elven magic that would be perfect for you. You can learn magic first before you start working.”

"Huh? Learn elven magic? Me?"

Yulia paused, then pointed to her face:

"Are you kidding me, boss? I'm the kind of person who forgets to use magic devices when I get into a fight. You want me to learn elven magic? Are you sure I can learn it?"

"You have to learn it even if you can't! That's my order as the boss!"

Emery, unusually stern, adopted a domineering CEO-like demeanor in front of Julia:

"There's no room for discussion on this. Let's go to the training ground."

"Goo~~"

Julia felt uncomfortable under Amelie's imposing aura and stretched her neck, twisting her body:

"What if...what if I can't learn it?"

"If you can't learn it, I'll force you to pay back the money!"

Amelie sneered:

"If you can't pay it back, I'll drag you home and make you sleep with me! Even if I do that, I still won't be able to pay back the principal, but I can still collect some interest first."

"You really are an evil capitalist! You only know how to bully honest people like me!"

Julia pouted even more, but faced with Emery, her major creditor, she could only obediently comply.

"Fine, I'll learn it! I was a top student in school, you'll learn this mere elven magic in no time! Humph!"

Viliana's little fairy magic class soon began.

As a member of the Elven Royal Guard, Viliana is now not only not opposed to teaching humans the secret arts of the Elven race, but is actually very happy about it.

“We lowly elves are born to be slaves of human masters! Any wealth of a slave should belong to the master, and magical knowledge is no exception.”

As Viliana spoke, she unhesitatingly imparted to Amelie, Julia, and Marcy a great deal of elven magical knowledge that even ordinary elves could not access.

Of course, Viliana's knowledge of elves was accumulated little by little through hard work in the Royal Guard training camp since childhood. Even if Amelie and the others were geniuses, they couldn't possibly learn it all in just a few days.

Amelie instructed Viliana to teach them only one spell first, the obscure spell she had long coveted—[Mana Absorption Inscription].

This magic is not only another advantage for Julia, but when combined with her cultivation techniques, it is like adding wings to a tiger, greatly enhancing Amelie's abilities as well.

In the original game, after Viliana was severely punished and became a member of the main character group, she also revealed all her knowledge of elven magic. Each member of the main character group could choose to learn several elven magic spells that matched their skill tree, which was a necessary stage for the entire group to strengthen themselves in the game.

Emery was no exception.

Although she cannot be a playable character in the original game, she used elven magic in the story, specifically the [Mana Absorption Rune].

[Mana Absorption Inscription] This elven magic, according to the original game's text description, allows you to absorb the enemy's mana through hand-to-hand melee combat. It's restricted to hand-to-hand combat and melee; using cold weapons or activating it from a distance has no effect. It's practically a skill tailor-made for Yulia.

However, in a later part of the original game, Emerald demonstrated an adaptability to this niche elven magic that was comparable to Julia's.

In the original game, it was a cutscene between two chapters. The gist of it was that a female assassin infiltrated the main characters' group to assassinate one of them, but was caught by Emery. The two then engaged in a battle during the cutscene.

It was during that battle that Emerald used the [Mana Absorption Rune]. After binding the female assassin with an invisible ribbon, she almost instantly drained all of the assassin's magic power, and finally sent the subdued assassin to Julia's bed.

Normally this is impossible, because the power of the [Mana Absorption Inscription] is not high. Even Yulia can only use this spell to continuously stack attributes to make herself stronger as she fights. She cannot instantly absorb all the enemy's magic power. That level of absorption power is not something that can be achieved through fist and foot contact. At the very least, the whole body must be pressed together.

However, when Emerald drained the female assassin's magic, she didn't even touch the assassin's body; she simply wrapped the assassin up with an invisible ribbon from a distance.

Clearly, it's hard to say whether Emerald's invisible ribbon-like innate magic can be considered her substitute. However, according to the rules of magic, those invisible ribbons are considered part of Emerald's body. She can use the invisible ribbons to activate the [Magic Absorption Rune], binding enemies and then instantly draining their magic power.

This is also the main reason why Emerald is determined to have Viliana. Not only does Julia need to learn the [Mana Absorption Inscription] elven magic, but she also has to learn it.

Moreover, Viliana knows a great many elven spells, indeed over a thousand, and there might even be some obscure spells among them that could work in conjunction with Amelie's innate magic to produce effects comparable to the [Mana Absorption Inscription].

Chapter 94 The Bad Heiress Bullies the Cat

It is very difficult for humans to systematically learn elven magic; this is a matter of racial innate ability.

If humans could easily become magicians, they wouldn't have been exploited as a enslaved race until they developed magical technology.

However, it is very difficult to learn thousands of spells like a formal elven mage, but humans can learn just a few elven spells, without even needing to master too much of the basic theory of elven magic.

Just like elementary school students on Earth memorizing ancient poems, there are some poems that don't need to be understood. You can still participate in recitation competitions by simply memorizing them until you know them by heart.
