Chloris rubbed her eyes and peeked halfway out from under the covers.
"Tranquility? What are you doing here?"
Chloris recognized her at a glance.
"sister!"
When Jingmi saw that Chloris had woken up, she immediately switched to a sweet, girlish voice.
"That's a bit too fast of a change of heart, isn't it?"
Seeing that Jingmi and Chloris knew each other, Li Ang didn't make things difficult for her any further and released his grip on her arm.
Jingmi didn't continue her attack on Li Ang. She jumped onto the bed, hugged Chloris tightly, and then glared angrily at Li Ang.
"You shameless man, how dare you show your face to my elder sister?"
"Quiet, don't do that, it's a little itchy!"
Chloris struggled a few times but to no avail, and could only adjust her body into a relatively comfortable position.
"I never expected you to have developed such a hobby."
Chloris sighed helplessly, "I never expected this child to be so clingy."
"She's okay because she was holding you?"
Chloris knew what Leon was asking, "Do you think I, as the Goddess of Flowers, would be poisoned?"
"...I get it. She's jealous."
Li Ang winked at Jing Mi and gave her a friendly smile.
"Little sister, hello there. I'm your older sister's ex... current boyfriend."
"Get lost, you stinky man!"
Jingmi revealed a "super fierce" expression.
So...you know me?
"My older sister has told me about you."
Jingmi puffed out her cheeks. "Who do you think you are? You just left without a word! And now you're only coming back? Do you think your older sister is some mistress you're keeping?"
"I really thought so back then..." the man muttered to himself.
"Ok?"
"What I mean is, your older sister is very important to me, but I just... had no choice. Now that I'm back, aren't I?"
Chloris scoffed, glancing sideways at Li Ang: "Don't leave again someday."
"I would never do that! I'll take you with me wherever I go."
Li Ang was completely unaware that he had set a huge goal for himself.
"That's what you said."
Chloris laughed and tossed the white dress into Li Ang's hands.
"Help me get dressed."
Chloris yawned lazily.
"This one……"
"You were quite skilled at taking off your clothes last night. Don't tell me you can only take them off but not put them on."
Li Ang glanced at Jing Mi, who was still tightly hugging Chloris, and sighed: "Your cat doesn't want me to come near you."
Chloris rested her hands on the bed frame, closing her eyes to relax.
"That's not my problem. But if you don't hurry, the others will wake up."
"I see."
Li Ang let out a long sigh of relief, grabbed his clothes, and collapsed onto the bed.
"Hey! Stop scratching me! Are you really a cat?!"
Listening to Li Ang and Jing Mi's playful banter, Chloris smiled slightly.
--------------------------
Li Ang felt incredibly fortunate that he hadn't lost focus during Odin's lessons; otherwise, he would definitely be dead today.
The poison of the Tranquil Ones was indeed very strange; he almost fell victim to it.
Fortunately, Jingmi had enough self-awareness to avoid damaging Chloris's long dress when she made her move.
Otherwise, Li Ang estimated that he would have to kneel on a washboard to eat breakfast this morning.
"This is the servant who is by my side, Assasn Tranquility."
At the dining table, Chloris introduced the tranquility to everyone in Chaldea.
"Hello everyone, I am Jingmi."
She greeted Mash, Ritsuka, and the others with quiet elegance, looking like a well-mannered young lady, a stark contrast to her attitude towards Li Ang.
"Hello, Miss Tranquility."
Mashu and Ritsuka quickly returned the greeting.
"You must be the Master of Chaldea."
After receiving Ritsuka's affirmative reply, Jingmi said, "I will help you repair the singularity, which is why I responded to the summons."
"Then I'll trouble you, Miss Tranquility."
Mashu was very happy; one more Heroic Spirit meant one more fighting force.
"Tranquility, you went to collect information on the other Descended Servants, right? How is it going?"
"Yes, my dear sister."
Jingmi took out a map and spread it out on the table.
"As far as I know, there are four other heroic spirits besides myself who have descended. One of them is currently traveling around Greece and his whereabouts are unknown."
Li Ang crossed his arms and asked, "Do you know who it is?"
"According to other descriptions of this Heroic Spirit, he is a servant with long green hair and likes to use chains as weapons."
A person immediately appeared in Li Ang's mind.
"Enkidu? Where is he?"
Jingmi shook her head: "I don't know the exact location. From the information I have, he was last seen in Sparta. However, this servant often appears to help ordinary people. If we start from Sparta and follow his legend, we should be able to find him."
"What about the other four Servants?"
“One of them was employed by the Greek gods and is now in Troy.”
Ritsuka quickly pressed, "In Troy? Why?"
"I don't know. Although we Servants came here in response to the summons, how we act is ultimately up to our own wishes."
"Has that heroic spirit already chosen which side to stand on?"
"I don't know. There are too many gods in Troy; I don't dare get close," Jingmi replied dejectedly. "If only I were a little stronger..."
Mashu quickly reassured her, "It's alright, Miss Tranquility, the information you provided was already very useful."
"What about the remaining three Servants?"
“They are at sea,” Tranquility replied. “One of the Servants’ Noble Phantasms is related to ships, which allows them to stay at sea indefinitely.”
"A ship...?"
There are quite a few Servants in FGO who are related to ships, such as Drake, Blackbeard, Jason, Roberts, and so on.
If we're only talking about the boat, Li Ang really can't be sure who it is.
"Is the silence enough to pinpoint their location?"
"Yes, I have already found out before I set out that the follower's ship will arrive in Athens in three days."
Jingmi replied quietly, "If I hadn't run into you, I would have planned to meet with them first. This was just a coincidence."
"Then let's wait for them to arrive here at Chloris's place, and then decide what to do next."
Li Ang made the final decision.
"I'm afraid it's not that optimistic."
Romani in Chaldea still appeared worried.
"The Greek gods are a bunch of incredibly stubborn people; we're very likely to end up in a military conflict with them. But the gods..."
Although Romani didn't finish his sentence, the implication was clear: they couldn't win.
Quietly, head bowed, she dejectedly agreed, "Indeed, my ability is poison, which is completely ineffective against gods. Perhaps other Hassans could find a way."
"No, even the other Hassans are basically powerless against the gods. You are completely useless except for 'Go and invite the First Lord'."
Li Ang's criticism was harsh, but it was true. That's precisely why Jing Mi was even more angry!
Jingmi bit her lip and cursed, "The first thing the First Lord did after he came out was to kill you."
"Don't talk about such terrible things..."
Li Ang didn't want to meet that big shot who walked around with a built-in bell; it would give him nightmares.
“But even if we can’t do it, we still have to do it, right?” Ritsuka encouraged everyone. “After all, we have a reason why we have to fight.”
“Actually, the issue of combat power isn’t unsolvable,” Li Ang said, stroking his chin. “In order to deal with a certain emperor who is invincible just by standing on his territory, I tried to develop a magic that separates generals from dragon veins.”
"The results of it?"
The Chaldeans quickly pressed for an answer.
"It didn't work; the person's ties to the country were too close."
Even if it exists, it's impossible to say.
Li Ang added in his mind.
"What a useless man."
He said quietly and coldly.
"However, I have figured out a magic method to strengthen Heroic Spirits using the local dragon veins. Even weak Assassins can be of some use in battle."
Li Ang looked at Jing Mi with disdain.
"You filthy man..."
If Chloris hadn't been holding her back, Tranquility probably would have pounced on her again.
"Leon, how much can you enhance a Servant?"
Romani is more concerned about the level of improvement that Li Ang has achieved.
"Someone as serene as her should be able to meet the threshold for participating in the Trojan War... If she were a servant who was already quite powerful, she might even be able to fight against the main god."
Li Ang's words served as a powerful calming agent for the anxious Chaldea members.
Unfortunately, the gap between ideals and reality can sometimes be quite large.
Queen, Greek port.
Li Ang's lips twitched as he looked at the three Servants standing in front of him.
"Oh, so you're the Master of Chaldea? Hello."
“Vlad III, I report for duty. Are you the Mast who will offer me his blood?”
"Ahem, hello everyone, I am Okita Souji, the captain of the first squad of the Shinsengumi."
[Well, so there's a one-eyed man, an old man, a sickly man, and the little girl beside the host—the old, the weak, the sick, and the disabled are all here.]
Captain Drake isn't one-eyed at all; he just has a scar.
[Is it possible that such a large wound, spanning the entire face, wouldn't have affected eyesight in that era?]
Hey system, have some decency in your speech.
