In a single encounter, they routed its army.

Feuerius seemed to see Venus's mockery in these knights.

You do have more people, but if I send out twelve Gun Saints, how will you deal with them?

Feuerius made a quick decision, ordering the remaining soldiers to self-destruct, attempting to drag the knights down with him.

Aside from their spear skills, their average strength is only at the sixth rank, which may be the only weakness of these Crimson Knights.

"Aren't you tired of using the same trick all the time?!"

Vena saw through Feuerius's plan at a glance and plunged into the army.

A golden light pierced through the dust and smoke, reaching directly in front of the demon of the army.

Just as the golden light was about to pierce through Feuerius's body, the battle-hardened demon uttered a single word: "Release."

Then the world changed color, and the entire mental image barrier began to disintegrate.

The distance that was once so close has been widened once again.

"call!"

Vina, whose sword missed its mark, reappeared on the battlefield.

He swung his sword to repel the surging demon army, but the demon warriors were nowhere to be seen beside him.

Just as he had previously used the mental image barrier to avoid Vena's sword energy, Feuerius used the same trick again, taking advantage of the effect of the mental image barrier being dispelled to widen the distance between himself and Vena once more.

Having thoroughly investigated the academy and the Holy Knights, Feuerius's only goal now is to bring all this information back with him.

As for the sacrifices made for this intelligence... as long as we can retreat to the dungeon, we can replenish them sooner or later.

"Don't even think about running away!"

Just as the Demon of the Army was about to escape back to the dungeon, Vena finally spotted it.

Feuerius turned around, looked at Vina who was still hundreds of meters away, and made a throat-cutting gesture.

Next time we meet, you'll pay the price.

It doesn't care about failing again; it is precisely because it learns from each fall and can get back up that the Demon of the Army exists.

Just as Feuerius was about to turn back to the underground city, an inconspicuous arrow suddenly shot from a distance, aiming straight at its back.

"You want to stop me even with an attack like this?"

Already in a bad mood, Feuerius casually raised his hand, intending to break the insignificant arrow, but his expression changed drastically the moment he touched it.

Two completely different yet equally terrifying forces, ice and fire, suddenly erupted, and the violent energy swept out like a torrent, blasting him into the sky.

And waiting for it there was Vina, who had burned her entire body of magic to the limit, like a blazing sun hanging in the sky.

Chapter 611 Treating New and Old Loves Equally

After evaporating Feus from the world, the power of the Phoenix Cloth has been exhausted to its limit.

The golden light gradually dimmed, eventually transforming into a stream of light and disappearing into the Holy Ring.

Without the protection of his Saint Cloth, Venus fell to the ground like a bird with broken wings.

However, he showed no signs of nervousness; in fact, a relaxed smile even graced his lips.

Because he knew that someone would catch him.

"Feather Fall Technique".

Listy waved her staff, and a soft light instantly enveloped the falling Venus.

His speed suddenly slowed down, and then he landed steadily on the ground.

“Vina, I knew you would come back.”

Lisette's voice was filled with undisguised joy and exhaustion, and her eyes were slightly red.

The arrow that just repelled Feuerius was fired by her and Samif together.

"Yes, you've had a tough time these past few days." Vena looked at Lisette, who looked a little haggard, and couldn't help but feel a pang of heartache.

In just a few days, she seemed to have lost weight, and even the hand holding the staff was trembling.

Unfortunately, the battlefield left no room for the two to reminisce.

The demon soldiers swarmed in again, their roars deafening.

The death of Feus ignited the last vestige of strength in these demons.

Their eyes were bloodshot, and they charged at Vina, ignoring the swords and blades around them, to avenge their commander.

"I know you've been apart for a long time, but at least be mindful of the occasion!"

Felix shouted as he parried left and right, his longsword flashing so fast it was impenetrable, blocking all the attacks.

"Let's deal with these clueless guys first."

Vena took out the Flame Blade Gun and made a suggestion to Lisette.

"Ah."

Lisette nodded in response, and the staff in her hand emitted a soft blue light. Accompanied by a deep chant, tiny ice crystals began to condense in the air.

The three stood back to back, exchanging a knowing glance.

Felix wielded his sword with lightning speed, cutting down the approaching enemies.

Vena then pulled the trigger, calling out one by one the demons behind her who were trying to interrupt Lysette's spellcasting with a sneak attack.

Under the cover of the two, Lisette's spell was finally completed—a wave of frost swept out, freezing the remaining demons in the vicinity into ice sculptures.

The three stopped moving when there was no more demons standing around them, panting heavily as they looked around.

Not just this area, the entire battle is over.

"Are you three all alright?"

Samif arrived on horseback, his tone tinged with concern.

Wiener dusted himself off, looked at the two who were covered in dust but hadn't suffered any further external injuries, and grinned, "I just want to soak in the Silver Wolf Class's hot springs one more time."

"You can still dream now. How dare you ask for so much if the academy doesn't take it back?"

Felix couldn't help but complain, and casually wiped the blood off his face, only to end up with a face full of dirt, making him even dirtier.

"Then let's go to the bar after we take back the academy," Lisette said with a soft laugh.

“You guys…” Samif looked at the three guys who had just fought their way out of a tight encirclement but remained incredibly calm, and shook her head helplessly. “Go back and report to the Dean first.”

-----------------

After a brief rest, Samif led the three to Rhea's tent.

Everyone else in the tent had been cleared out, and even Samif was just standing outside waiting, clearly indicating that this conversation was extremely important.

"Thanks to your timely arrival, Vena." Leia looked at the student in front of her who had grown to be capable of handling things on her own and couldn't help but sigh with emotion.

If it weren't for Vener's intervention, even if we had managed to win this battle with difficulty, we would never have been able to leave behind such a troublesome fellow as the Demon of the Army.

"I'm sorry, Dean, if I had known the academy was in such a crisis, I should have returned much faster."

Wiener bowed his head in apology, his tone tinged with self-reproach.

He only knew that the Holy Knights had returned from the kingdom, but he never imagined that the crisis facing the academy headquarters was even greater than that of the kingdom.

“It’s not your fault,” Leia shook her head, a complex look in her eyes. “If anyone’s to blame, it’s me for not seeing through Juta’s true colors.”

She paused, then asked, "Did you come back alone? Where's Tilisa?"

“Yes, Vena, where’s your master?” Felix had wanted to ask this question for a long time.

"Tilissa's current situation is somewhat special."

After a moment's thought, Wiener decided that it would be more appropriate to call on the person in question to explain directly.

He drew out the Nite Palace Gate and let it fall vertically.

Accompanied by a golden light, Tissa's figure reappeared.

However, the previous battle had clearly exhausted her strength, and her figure was much more ethereal than before.

"Master!" Felix rushed forward without hesitation and hugged him tightly.

Those eyes, which had never dried up even after slaying thousands of demons, now quietly overflowed with tears.

“I thought I would never see you and Vena again…” Felix’s voice choked with emotion.

"Alright, I'm back now." Tilissa gently patted Felix's back to comfort him.

Then she turned to Leia with a serious expression and said, "Dean, the sinner Tilisa begs your forgiveness."

"Is it about Arios?" Rhea seemed to have already sensed it and was just waiting for Tilisa to confess.

“Yes,” Tilisa looked directly at Leia without flinching, “Arios was indeed killed by my own hands.”

"Huh?!" Lisette exclaimed in surprise, wanting to ask more, but Vena grabbed her hand.

He shook his head slightly, signaling the other person to continue listening.

"Although I had considered this possibility, hearing it with my own ears is still heartbreaking." Leia sighed, a hint of regret in her eyes. "Is this the future you see?"

Tilisa nodded and then recounted in detail everything she had experienced.

Upon hearing that Tissa was willing to burn her emblem to reverse time using the power of the Holy Sword, even Lisette was speechless.

“Little Ai can also testify to these things.”

While everyone was still savoring the story told by Tilisa, Vena summoned Escudo as well.

“What she said is true,” Escudo said, his voice clear and unwavering. “Apart from Master Citri, every hero mentioned by later generations comes from a world outside of Fodor.”

“This is—” Rhea looked at Vina, a hint of doubt flashing in her eyes. She sensed a very special power emanating from this girl.

“She is the holy sword Escudo,” Vena briefly introduced.

"I see." Leia nodded in relief.

"The Holy Sword is actually such a young girl?"

Felix stared at Escudo in shock, his mind filled with the suffering he had endured during the trials because of her.

"In terms of age, I'm much older than you."

Escudo glared at him with an unfriendly expression, clearly displeased with being called "little girl".

If it were Vena who addressed him that way, it would be one thing, but what right does a sword that's so young and inexperienced have to call itself that?

“What’s the use of comparing ages? I’ve been with Viner for much longer than you. You’re still a newcomer.”

Felix crossed his arms, looking smug.

Speechless after being rebuked, Escudo could only hug Vina and complain, "He yelled at me!"

"You two better behave yourselves!"

Wiener struck with both hands, giving each of them a blow to the head.

The two little ones then covered their heads and obediently shut up.

Chapter 612 The Last Hero

“I’m not sure if this approach is correct. But the future has certainly changed.” Tilisa looked at Vina.

If the kingdom's betrayal and the empire's internal strife were the punishment she received for trying to change history.

Then, the appearance of Venus became her only salvation.

“If it weren’t for that, the academy wouldn’t have fallen to this state. I am willing to accept the academy’s punishment.” Tissa lowered her head.

Although her figure was ethereal, it appeared exceptionally resolute, as if she had long been prepared to face all the consequences.

"Does anyone else know about this?" Leia asked slowly.
