Sneak attack!

Ducarre turned his head to the side, blood smeared across his face, making his cheeks look refreshed, but his gloomy expression was already dripping with water!

"Fire?" (Note: The remaining text appears to be unrelated and likely spam/advertisement. It includes phrases like "鳩杷2娰彡)" and "林舞".)

He reached out, and a surge of blood extinguished the flames that were about to strike again. A nauseating stench of blood rose up as a large amount of blood evaporated, as if it would cause a rain of blood to fall in Lentinium tomorrow.

But that's not what Ducarre cares about.

He looked toward the source of the attack, at the girl whose bloodline was mixed, yet who was equally powerful.

"Draco? Another one?"

"That's not all!"

Looking up at her clearly defined target, Talulah smiled slightly and stepped aside to make way for Yelena behind her.

"And Carter's too!"

Ducarre was clearly taken aback, seemingly not understanding what Talulah meant.

No, Bozokasti is a pure-blooded Wendigo, and you are a Drak with a very interesting bloodline. The two of you are indeed enough to attract my attention, but what do you mean by specifically jumping out to introduce that Katars?

You don't think I'm too ignorant or have bad eyesight to recognize all of you, do you?

The idea popped into his head for no apparent reason, but Ducarre quickly dismissed it.

No, no, it shouldn't be that bad. Who would have such a foolish idea on the battlefield? What was he thinking?

Interestingly, another Drak has appeared in Lentinium, and he's a crossbreed, with all his bloodlines being very pure!

On the land of Yan, there is more than one dragon. But the family that can truly be called a "true dragon" possesses an equally mysterious and powerful bloodline, which is exactly what Ducarre finds appealing!

That's right, even if you're going to crossbreed, it has to be done this way. A strong alliance is better than crossing with a bunch of mongrels, that would be a real disgrace!

"Yelena, that Blood Demon seems to look down on you."

Talulah frowned, somewhat puzzled.

Yelena rolled her eyes. If it weren't for the fact that they were on the battlefield and she couldn't spare a moment, she would have covered her face.

Do you need me to introduce myself?

Besides, they clearly didn't intend to get to know me, right?

For the first time in her life, Yelena experienced a shame she would never have known before: being dragged out at a banquet by an elder in her family and introduced as "this is my child." Even though Talulah was neither an elder nor Talulah's child!

Oh, what a mess I've made!

"Talulah, just shut up for a bit."

Yelena forced herself to be serious after making a weak remark, and whispered:

"Help me stall for a bit, my altar is set up. Those self-defense forces are fairly reliable."

"Do you remember the operational guidelines that Kal'tsit and Ernst told us?"

Talulah snapped out of her reverie and nodded:

"Of course!"

"To fight the Blood Demon, first dispel his area-of-effect spell!"

Chapter 825 Talulah thinks you're not very smart

The blood evaporated, the blood tide froze.

Wendigo's defenses were impregnable; even without resorting to cannibalistic sorcery, he had other methods at his disposal.

The overall quality of the Londinium Self-Salvation Army is indeed far superior to that of the Reunion Movement members; at least, they remained calm when facing dangerous figures like the Blood Lord.

Those activated Originium altars, combined with Wendigo's ancient sorcery, could indeed suppress Ducarre to some extent.

With the added slowing and support from Yelena's Frost Altar, Talulah, though lacking in strategy, possessed formidable firepower in her flame-breathing attacks, and Ducarre was momentarily unable to subdue the three of them.

The story of the three heroes fighting Lü Bu is an example of this.

Of course, the Blood Lord was not so easy to deal with, and Ducarre did not really take it seriously.

Talulah recalled Kal'tsit's words:

"Ducarre is very concerned about the Sarkaz bloodline, so there is absolutely no way he would use a killing move against the last pure-blooded Wendigo from the very beginning."

"While he changes his mind, you can prepare to retreat."

This is also their current plan.

Ducarre raised his hand, and the blood tide, evaporated and frozen countless times, spread out again from beneath his feet, seemingly endless. Long spears of blood rose from the tide, flying towards Bozocasti's shield under Ducarre's command.

In the past, Bozokasti would have had to dodge these blood-soaked spears at least a little—his shield was brought from the Ursus army and was considered a fine piece back then, but after the ravages of time and endless battles, even the toughest things become fragile.

Not to mention that goods from Ursus are notoriously "prone to problems".

Its otherworldly counterpart, Da Mao, even has a famous scene where "the president inspects a new car and breaks the door handle with one pull!"

But now, Bozokastie shows no sign of backing down.

Blood Demon is improving, but he is, after all, only human, and even the purest Sarkaz bloodline has its limits. Over the long years, his progress has reached its limit, and this quantitative change has not yet led to a qualitative leap.

It is different from the original.

He did not rely on his own bloodline; his armor and the weapons and shields he carried were all products of another kind of power—the crystallization of technological power.

The technologies developed on Terra based on Originium may be flawed, but they are definitely not weak! Nor can you say they have reached their limit!

As a relic from ancient civilizations, the artificial amber, capable of withstanding the wrath of lumberjacks, represents a power that even the Terrans have only explored less than one ten-thousandth of, and it is not something a group of natives can easily challenge!

2 Wendigo raised his shield, and the Originium Arts counter-unit from Ursus began to operate at high speed. A dazzling blue light burst out from it, and a magical shield was formed almost instantly!

9 magic resistance, kid!

Ursus was a nation that participated in the War of the Four Emperors and later launched a great conquest, becoming an invincible military superpower across Terra. How could they not know how terrifying it was when the Witch King directly tore apart the storm of the Gallic vanguard?

In order to counter the terrifying, catastrophic magic in the war against Letania, the Ursus people began developing anti-Originium Arts casting units long ago.

In the years when Bozokasti was still fighting for Ursus, this technology was not yet mature, but in the years after he fled into the tundra, the technology never stopped developing.

This technology has now even been adopted by the military and police at the grassroots level in Ursus. The standard Ursus riot baton uses this technology!

As the leader of the security team under the Human Rights Council of the World Summit and a veteran of Ursus, Fyodor showed considerable magnanimity, voluntarily providing the technology when the shield was made.

This also changed Ernst's opinion of the emperor somewhat.

Regardless of whether his seemingly weak policies were genuine or just for show, at least this man seemed very different from his father, the "former emperor," and was not as "inhuman" and "cold-blooded" as popular legend portrayed him.

Ursus's magical shield lit up, steadily blocking the blood spear from the Sarkaz, while Bodrakasti only took half a step back.

For the first time since they started playing against each other, Ducarre felt a bit tricky.

He frowned, raised his hand again, but this time, instead of summoning a blood tide, he directly targeted the bloodline.

Blood is the transporter inside the human body; all the internal organs depend on blood for nourishment, and the Blood Demon is the master of all blood.

As soon as his spell was cast, Bozokasti's body inevitably staggered.

The feeling of blood being manipulated, attracted, forced to "go against the flow" or even rush out of the body is not pleasant.

He's alright; he's a Sarkaz, and a Wendigo at that, so his physical strength is robust enough. The Blood Lord's influence on his blood, while troublesome, is just a debuff. But what about the others?

Bozokastie turned his gaze to Talulah and Yelena.

Fine beads of sweat had formed on Talulah's forehead.

She had never experienced such a magical attack before.

She can block tangible spells with fire, but what can she use to block spells that directly affect the blood?

In just a few seconds, the flame that had been burning fiercely in her hand began to flicker like a candle.

That was a sign that she was about to lose control.

With almost all her energy focused on dealing with the "rebellion" of her blood, she was no longer able to launch the same attack as before to cover for Bozocas!

And she wasn't even the one who suffered the most.

Yelena is the one.

Katz's body was already fragile, and she was also a patient in the middle to late stages of Oripathy. In that instant when her blood boiled, she almost felt her soul leaving her.

A trickle of crimson blood had already seeped from the corner of her mouth. Yelena had lost control and was kneeling on the ground, supporting her body with her arms.

Yi is unable to breathe, move, or even think.

They underestimated the true strength of the Lord of the Royal Court. Even a seemingly ordinary blood manipulation spell was enough to cripple two of their combatants!

The only remaining member of the ghoul, Bozokasti, is clearly unable to confront the Blood Demon head-on without activating his ghoul sorcery.

In less than half a minute, the battle situation changed from the previous "Three Heroes Fighting Lu Bu" where Qi had a slight advantage to a one-on-one fight between Blood Demon Lord and Bozhuo Kasti!

"Aren't you going to awaken your bloodline yet?"

Ducarre spoke again, beckoning to Bozocasti.

"I can help you. Or do you want to watch this Draco and that little rabbit die right in front of you?"

"I'll drive."

"Stubborn fool! It seems you've been away for too long and have forgotten that the words of the King of the Royal Court are equivalent to the rules... cough cough cough!"

Ducarre's cold declaration abruptly stopped. After a few violent coughs, he looked at Bozocaste with some surprise.

"What did you say?"

“I’ll open it,” Bozokasti repeated, “I’ll use witchcraft on you to release...them.”

A hint of satisfaction flashed across Ducarre's face.

For the first time since arriving in Lentinium, the kitten, Egg Roll, was thoroughly satisfied.

Finally, finally, there are people who won't spout grand principles and then rush up to him with a face that says they're not even afraid of death to defy him!

See? A wise person knows when to yield. What's wrong with blood ties? Why is everyone refusing?

Bozokasti, well done, well done! You're so interesting. If I could beat Niezile, I would have taken you on as my apprentice!

"Hahahaha, Wendigo, this is hilarious!"

A broad smile spread across the Blood Demon Lord's face, and he actually lowered his hand.

"Alright, I've decided to let them go! Come, Bozokasti, let me see your true power, let me witness the revival of the Wendigo court!"

Bozokasti said nothing, but simply waved to Talulah and Yelena.

Talulah swallowed hard, helped Yelena, who was breathing heavily, to her feet, and moved her to Bozokasti's side.

Once the two had stopped, Bozocas, in front of Ducarre, pulled out the square, brightly lit sorcery implement and announced loudly:

"[Small Cube] Activate!"

The next second, right under Ducarre's nose, the small cube disintegrated into countless lifelines, instantly enveloping Bozocaste and his companions. Then, with a soft, almost magical "bang," it vanished, leaving only Talulah with a slightly amused remark:

"Just as Ernst and Kelsey said."

"The Blood Demon Lord doesn't seem very bright."

Si Ducarre: "

"What's wrong, Ducarre? Your face looks redder than the blood on the ground. Should we make you an appointment with a doctor?"

The Shapeshifter's light, airy voice rang out, and Ducarre whirled around, gritting his teeth as he said:

"Who's in a hurry?"

"Who are you cursing at?!"

"I wasn't anxious! How could I be anxious! I clearly won!"

The shapeshifter shrugged: "Classic."

"Shapeshifter! Do you want to die?"

"Hurry. You can't kill us anyway, so we don't even want to fight you."

"Where were you when the fight was going on?! Why were you just watching?!"

"We just arrived." The shapeshifter shrugged again, his expression impeccably innocent.

"Besides, we have our own things to do. Ducarre, stop being so willful. Consider this a lesson learned."
