The prophet had a hundred ways to stop Theresa from doing that, but he just gritted his teeth and deleted it for her. This move left not only Priscilla speechless, but Ernst was also speechless.

Ultimately, people just don't want to bear the pressure anymore and find a way to escape through someone else's hands. Precys is also a bit too indulgent, unwilling to be harsh on the Doctor, and out of consideration for both the Doctor and Ernst, he doesn't make things too difficult for Theresa.

Let her reincarnate 365 times, let her know what she did, let her understand what a prophet really means, let her experience the terror of 365 deaths and oblivion, that's enough.

But for some people, it's not that simple.

Theresa is just stupid, not bad. So who is bad?

Ernst didn't ask, but judging from the way Precys looked at the airship, he thought the answer was easy to guess.

Kal'tsit!

Kal'tsit has indeed stirred up quite a few things.

Without her, Theresa wouldn't have been able to dig up Rhodes Island or meet the Doctor. As a demon lord with a humanities background, she would never have learned a programmer's death sentence like "delete the save file and run away."

Counting further back, without seeing her, Theresa wouldn't have had the opportunity to broaden her horizons so much. A person's perception is determined by their living environment and social experiences. Living her entire life in an environment like Kazdel, receiving an education in hatred and suffering, even if Theresa later became the Demon King, she was unlikely to have such an ideal of ruling the world. And the differences between her and Theresis were unlikely to directly lead to the outcome of a civil war.

The "wise man who foresaw the end of the world" indeed provided Theresa with a great deal of access to ideas and knowledge that did not belong to her race or identity.

If we go back even further, Kal'tsit has done even more.

She was present during the Terra Behemoth battle.

She witnessed the chaos and turmoil that plagued the Yan Kingdom.

The true dragon plotted to kill the gods, and she came to guide him.

She was a pioneer in conquering the hot land of Shah.

It can be said that the poem "What Bad Things Has Sun*chuan Done?" from the previous 8th generation can be directly copied over with the geographical and land event terms changed, without any sense of incongruity.

Of course, Kal'tsit may not have actually done all of the above, but she must have seen them. After all, Terra's history may have gaps, but Kal'tsit's lifespan has never been interrupted.

If she simply watched, maintaining the posture of a pre-civilized observer, that would be fine; after all, it had nothing to do with her, and no one could say anything about her.

But as luck would have it, she got itchy and joined the fray.

After watching two highlight reels, the bronze player felt like he was good again!

After working for thousands of years, they realized, hey, it seems like they haven't achieved much. They've made friends with others, boasted a lot, and caused trouble. Now they can only go back to their families to clean up their mess.

what is this?

That's bad!

This is the conclusion that can be drawn from looking at what Kal'tsit did from a macro perspective.

The facts must be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. For example, her approach of organizing the Babel Tower medical clinic and providing education for the Sarkaz was correct. You can't say she did anything bad; you can only say that her initial intentions were good, but her execution was flawed. Such situations are not uncommon in the world.

If we really want to trace the problem back, the root of the problem lies with the PhD himself.

The pet tabby was released into the wild by a professor who no longer wanted to keep her. She ate no food or water, but kept eating Terra food for over 30,000 years. She still remembered her owner's kindness and would dig him out for help when she encountered trouble. However, not long after her owner got up, she managed to find a friend who killed her.

Kids will stay upset for days after their toys are thrown away by their parents.

It can only be said that while the pre-civilization appeared impressive, it still subtly revealed a rough-and-ready, amateurish style. It was only because the level was so high and the work so brutal—each act nearly resulted in Terra whipping them to death—that the brutality became performance art, and the abstract nature wasn't so obvious.

But Kal'tsit was still useful to Ernst, and the two did have some relationship. So, seeing Precys' unfriendly expression, Ernst made a suggestion in a roundabout way.

"Let's scare Kal'tsit and see her reaction."

How to scare them? That's simple.

Ernst lay down on the ground and pretended to be dead. Precys then laid out Originium and created some scenery to make the scene look real. Then, when Kal'tsit arrived, Precys would find an opportunity to appear and subtly express the intention that "Ernst is rebellious and dared to steal my Originium. I will kill him." Then, he would observe Kal'tsit's reaction.

If Kal'tsit remains silent, completely intimidated, and lets Priscilla do as she pleases, then it proves she is indeed evil. Because the Londinium incident is essentially a follow-up to Kal'tsit awakening the Doctor; without the Doctor's awakening as a prerequisite, Theresis would never have been able to obtain a way to repair the Shards.

Whether it's the Victorians or Ernst, they are essentially cleaning up the mess left by Kelsey's decision made on a whim back then.

Now that Priscilla, the second parent, has woken up, she wants to punish the person who cleaned up her mess. If Kal'tsit doesn't step up now, she'll be nothing but a spoiled brat, showing no sense of responsibility for the trouble she caused, and Ernst won't be able to save her.

Prestis will make her realize the price she will pay for all of this: as a servant, as a creation of a previous civilization, as a prophet and one of her keepsakes, she has done so many abstract things and even caused the prophet to lose her memory.

If Kal'tsit intervenes.

That means that although she's bad, she's not completely bad, not bad to the core. She's different from that kind of cat that poops in the closet and then dares to scratch people.

At least she knew what she had done, knew that Ernst was taking responsibility for her, and knew that one cannot shirk one's responsibilities, much less repay kindness with enmity and harm others.

Then Ernst could at least say a word for Kal'tsit.

Of course, there's also the last possibility: Kal'tsit might see Prissis and just "ho" over him.

And ★)偲;林死叁!俉路缌刺蝟∠折…代购:这这种别算。

This indicates that the Ama-10 did indeed have an internal malfunction due to the prolonged lack of repairs by Precys and the Doctor. That makes things rather complicated.

The malfunction is definitely not a problem with the machine itself; machines don't malfunction on their own. It must be a problem with the people who manufactured it. Therefore, if Kal'tsit is now abstract, then Precys is to blame.

They're producing counterfeit and substandard products, using substandard parts, and products past their expiration date!

Ernst wouldn't speak up for Kal'tsit, but Precys probably wouldn't scrap Kal'tsit directly; he'd likely send her back for repairs.

After all, Ama-10 was a keepsake between her and the Doctor; these were the few remaining anchor points of their memories, and it's a real shame to destroy it like this.

As it turns out, Kal'tsit did provide a boost in the dire situation.

Ernst lay down on the ground, nearly bursting out of his wits because of Kelsey's godlike "slapping him in the nose" maneuver.

Precys came to the rescue just in time, but before she could even utter any harsh words, Kal'tsit bravely stepped up!

No riddles, no showing off, just pure bravery! She actually shouted "mon3tr," picked up Ernst, and ran, then rushed up and hugged Precys!

Is this still Kal'tsit?!

Not to mention Ernst, even Priscilla was shocked. So much so that when Kal'tsit held her, she didn't push him away, not because she couldn't break free, but because she genuinely didn't have time to react!

She looked down at Kal'tsit and met her gaze. She wasn't trying to scare her, but was genuinely examining her to see if this was really her lynx.

But undeniably, this act of courage did indeed bring her the most precious "sustainable chance"!

However, Ernst never expected this.

Looking at Kal'tsit's unfocused pupils and her motionless body, Ernst couldn't help but pinch her cheek and asked Precys beside him:

"What's wrong with her?"

Unexpectedly, Precys stroked his chin, frowned, and shook his head:

"I do not know."

"It looks like it crashed, but theoretically it shouldn't be like that."

Kal'tsit's technology is incredibly advanced, incorporating human civilization's consciousness uploading technology, body downloading technology, soul computing technology, and so on. If Prestis and the Doctor had given her an encyclopedia of human civilization instead of astronomical knowledge, Kal'tsit might be sitting on a golden toilet right now.

How can this thing crash?

Precys couldn't understand, so Ernst reminded him:

"This isn't the first or second time; Kal'tsit has fainted frequently before."

"Why?" Precys asked curiously. Why did this happen so often? Was it such a big problem?

Ernst shrugged. "I was scared."

The air was silent for a few seconds, then Priscilla couldn't help but laugh.

It turns out that people can actually laugh when they're speechless, even people from pre-civilization times.

Why did you scare my cat like that?

Oh right, this time it was you who suggested scaring Kal'tsit. Your fetish is quite strange. How come I never noticed it before?

Ernst met Precys's amused gaze and awkwardly looked away.

He didn't mean it.

At least not the first time, and not the second time either.

"Ahem, so what do we do now? Can you fix it?"

Ernst asked,

"Don't scrap it if you can't fix it. Send it back. Kal'tsit and I are quite close. You can't always follow me around. With her around, I won't be completely clueless about human civilization. It saves me some trouble."

Although Kal'tsit isn't very reliable, her knowledge is very useful.

Ernst didn't need Kal'tsit's help. He had already discovered Kal'tsit's true purpose in Letania: finding routes and collecting information.

It would be too wasteful to scrap it, and releasing it back into the wild isn't a good idea either. I've finally found a home for it, and since Lao Bo doesn't want it, I'll adopt it!

Precys glanced at Kal'tsit, then at Ernst, and shrugged helplessly.

Ernst is right. She can't stay here forever. There are still many problems inside Originium that she needs to deal with, and she needs to keep a close eye on the situation.

Unless something unexpected happens, they might not see each other again until the doctor wakes up.

With Kelsey around, Ernst can indeed save a lot of trouble.

But punishment is inevitable.

Precys circled behind Kal'tsit, reached out, lifted her clothes, grabbed her little tail that looked more like a decoration, and tugged at it.

Kal'tsit's eyes gradually cleared.

Ernst was astounded!

Oh, so you guys even had a restart button! I thought I'd have to call Ascalon to pinch my philtrum!

When she opened her eyes again, a look of confusion flashed across Kal'tsit's face.

She saw Ernst standing not far in front of her, a living, breathing man.

I saw the bright red Anana in Ernst's hand.

I also saw the Originium fragments scattered all over the ground.

All of this reminded her that what had just happened was not a dream.

Since Ernst was in front of her, where was that other person?

Also, before she lost consciousness, she seemed to hear Precys call out Ernst something.

"Ama-10."

A call snapped Kal'tsit out of her daze. She looked at Ernst, because it was Ernst who had called out "Ama-10".

Ernst heard it from Precys while he was lying on the ground.

"Ama-10, how does it feel?"

"Um... Ernst, please don't do that. How do you know that's what you call him?"

"My treasure! Didn't I tell you about it a long time ago?"

Ernst shrugged, smiled, and said again, "Nine..."

"I even held you in my arms when you were little. You were so tiny back then~"

"Ho-"

Precys: "

She gave Ernst a rare glare, somewhat reproachfully.

You weren't lying, Ama-10 is in this terrible state now, and it's all your fault! Go ahead and scare her; cats can really die from stress!

Well, I restarted for nothing!

Precys did not restart it again. She beckoned to Ernst, trying to summon Anana.

Then it failed.

Ernst handed it over voluntarily.

Precys wasn't angry. He used Anana to generate a cloud of Originium, skipped the cooldown, and started with zero frames. Right in front of Ernst, he slashed Kal'tsit.

The next second, Kal'tsit's body was covered by Originium crystals.

Then it exploded.

"There's no need for lightning to strike."

Ernst wiped away a non-existent cold sweat.

"This is faster. Anyway, her body has some problems, so I can quickly create a new body. It'll also be a good opportunity to check if there are any issues with her soul."
