This is Chinatsu, whom she once felt very close to and who was very capable!

"I remembered?"

Chika smiled and loosened her embrace slightly, but still held onto Tohka's wrist, not letting go completely, as if afraid that if Tohka let go, this flustered little rabbit would run away again.

"You're so clumsy; I'd be heartbroken if you hurt Her Highness!"

She spoke meaningfully, while cleverly using her body and the umbrella that had appeared out of nowhere to shield Tohka from most of the wind and rain.

Upon recognizing the person before her, Tohka's heart was instantly filled with joy, and the shyness from the earlier minor collision was immediately forgotten.

Instead of leaving Chika's embrace, she seemed to have found a source of comfort and pounced even harder, like a spoiled kitten, happily rubbing her cheek against the soft fabric of Chika's chest, completely disregarding the fact that her wet hair would get Chika wet.

"Chika! That's great!"

Tohka's voice, muffled in Chinatsu's arms, was filled with obvious joy.

"I need to see Shido right now! I... I did something really bad to him, and said things that hurt him. I need to go back and apologize to him right away!"

Feeling the girl in her arms' unreserved trust and enthusiasm, a hint of helplessness flashed in Qianxia's eyes, but more than that, a soft indulgence.

She raised her hand and gently ruffled Tohka's long, dark purple hair, which was damp and somewhat messy from the rain, with a tender gesture.

"Yes, I know. Tohka is a good girl. She wants to correct her mistakes as soon as she realizes they are wrong."

Her voice had a soothing magic.

Tohka felt very comfortable being massaged, and unconsciously squinted her eyes, making a soft humming sound like a cat being stroked.

(Sigh, silly girl, I'm waiting for you here so you won't run back in your current state. If you were to stumble upon Shido and Yoshino's "heartwarming scene," wouldn't all of Reine's advice and this silly girl's resolve be wasted?)

Chika's mind raced, but she remained outwardly calm. She pushed Tohka away slightly, placed her hands on Tohka's shoulders, and looked her up and down with her golden eyes, deliberately furrowing her beautiful brows.

“However, Tohka…” her tone carried just the right amount of worry, “are you really planning to go back to see Shido like this?”

Tohka looked down at herself. Her soaked uniform clung tightly to her body, outlining her youthful curves, and her hair was a mess, sticking to her cheeks. She did look rather disheveled.

Chika extended her index finger and gently tapped Tohka's wet forehead hair, then brushed her eyelashes, which were covered in water droplets, her tone persuasive and encouraging.

"Look, you're soaked to the bone, like a drowned rat, and your hair is all messed up. If you run back like this in such a panic and not at all presentable, even if you apologize, it won't leave a good impression on Shido, will it? He might be more worried about your health."

Tohka imagined what Chinatsu was saying and found it to make perfect sense. She nodded vigorously, her eyes becoming serious.

"Yes! Chika is right! I can't go to see Shido like this!"

Seeing that the first step had succeeded in fooling her, Qianxia smiled almost imperceptibly and continued to add to the scheme:

"Right? Apologizing is a very serious matter. Not only does the sincerity matter, but the form is also very important." She gently twirled a strand of Tohka's damp hair with her fingers, her voice full of allure.

"Think about it, if you could dress up nicely and cleanly, carefully prepare a thank-you gift to express your feelings, and then solemnly appear in front of him... wouldn't that apology seem more sincere and make Shido more moved and happy?"

"Oh—! Oh oh oh oh! So that's how it is!"

Tohka's eyes lit up instantly, as if she had opened the door to a new world.

She was only thinking about apologizing immediately and didn't consider these details at all!

Chika's words made her feel enlightened; she realized there was so much to learn about apologizing!

“So,” Chika concluded, her tone light and cheerful.

"Tohka, what you should do right now is not to run home immediately, but to buy a beautiful new outfit, fix your hair and get a nice new hairstyle, and then pick out a suitable gift."

"The correct 'apology process' is to wait until everything is in place before meeting Shido in the most perfect form!"

"That's right! I should do it!"

Tohka was completely convinced, and her enthusiasm instantly ignited. She grabbed Chinatsu's wrist and turned to rush towards the shopping street.

"Let's go now! Chika, you choose for me! You have the best eye!"

"Wait... me?" A crack appeared on Chika's perfect expression. She had only intended to point Tohka in the right direction, not to accompany her herself!

How much time will it take to shop and get her hair done? She just wanted to delay it a bit, but she didn't expect to waste her whole day on it!

"Qianxia..."

Tohka turned around, her purple eyes instantly welling up with tears, looking at her pitifully like a puppy about to be abandoned.

"Is it not allowed? I'm all alone... I don't know what to choose... Please, Chinatsu..."

Faced with the powerful "Tohka-style pitiful beam", Chinatsu's lips twitched, she struggled internally for a moment, and finally gave in.

She sighed helplessly and raised her hand to her forehead.

"Sigh... okay, okay, I really can't do anything with you..." His tone was full of forced pampering and indulgence.

"That's great! Thank you, Chinatsu!"

Tohka's mood instantly brightened, her smile so radiant it seemed to dispel the rain. She clung tightly to Chika's arm, excitedly pulling her along as they strode towards the shopping street.

As Chika was dragged along, she looked at the girl beside her who had regained her vitality and shook her head helplessly, but a hint of a triumphant smile flashed in her golden eyes.

(Let's stall for as long as possible... Hopefully, Shido's situation can be resolved quickly...)

The rain is still falling.

Two figures, one in white and one in purple, nestled intimately under the same umbrella, gradually disappearing around the street corner, temporarily postponing the potential "jealousy storm."
