Harvey Dent was indeed in the balcony area with his girlfriend Rachel.

He had just experienced a failed marriage proposal and hadn't even recovered when he heard gunshots in the hall.

The two immediately lost their interest in romance and nervously hid behind a marble pillar.

Harvey instinctively reached for his waist but couldn't find his sidearm—he was attending a high-society party today, and he certainly couldn't bring a weapon in.

Now he's getting his comeuppance; there are thugs outside, but he doesn't have a gun...

The chief prosecutor closed his eyes briefly, groaning, and then never opened them again.

Rachel, who witnessed the whole thing, was instantly overloaded with emotion—

She saw her ex-boyfriend descend from the sky in that terrifying suit of armor, and immediately put his arm around her chokehold, knocking her current boyfriend unconscious.

The process was so fast, it was over in just a few seconds, so fast that she didn't even have time to react.

"What are you doing!?"

She was completely stunned and almost called out Batman's real name, but thankfully she came to her senses and restrained herself.

She was somewhat dazed. Harvey had just finished speaking ill of him, and he suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Was he really that effective?!

"The Joker is coming to kill him."

Batman explained in a low voice, then quickly glanced around.

The balcony is simply furnished with only a table, a few chairs, and a few potted shrubs.

There's nowhere to hide here...

Left with no other choice, he could only drag Harvey toward the corner.

He used the furniture he could find to build them a makeshift shelter and reassured them, "You two stay here and don't go out. We'll talk after I subdue them."

Rachel looked at her unconscious current boyfriend, then at her ex-boyfriend who was about to go to war, and was completely bewildered: "Since we could only hide here, why did you strangle him? Giving him a gun would have given you another ally!"

Batman's retreating figure froze for a moment, before he forced a defense: "He's too righteous; he'll definitely rush out and fight them, which is dangerous."

Only he himself knows whether what he said is true or false.

Perhaps he was so enraged by another outrageous scoundrel that he lost his mind;

Perhaps it was due to some personal grudge, and they just wanted to give Harvey a hard time.

Or perhaps he simply prefers to be a loner and doesn't want to involve others in his "mission" of managing Gotham.

Since it's already done, all we have to do now is put the clown and his gang back in the asylum!

While listening to Alfred's report, Batman used high-tech equipment to suspend himself on the wall directly above the balcony exit.

Whoever is the first to step onto the balcony is going to be in big trouble.

*

Such a lucky person could only be the Joker!

As it turns out, those who stick their neck out never have a good ending.

The clown had just stepped his left foot off the balcony when he heard an unusual sound from the wind above him.

He instinctively looked up and saw Batman gliding through the night sky.

He was so far removed from himself...

The next second, Batman's knees landed on the Joker's shoulders, pulling him to the ground.

With a thud, the clown landed on his back, his lips curling up in a wild, painful grin.

Unlike ordinary thugs, he didn't panic and even tried to fight back when he had the upper hand.

However, the two were worlds apart in fighting skills. Before he could even make a couple of moves, Batman's iron fist was already coming straight at him.

Clang—Thump—

Two muffled thuds followed.

The first sound was from a punch to his face, and the second sound was from the back of his head hitting the ground.

This punch was fueled by both old and new grudges; its power was so great that the Joker immediately straightened up...

Only when their leader fell into a deep sleep did the Joker's henchmen snap out of their daze, squeezing out terrified, hen-like screams: "It's Batman—!"

That's right, it's Batman.

Those who answer correctly will receive a sprint elbow strike.

Batman faced the armed thugs without fear, charging into the crowd and unleashing his full power.

He is proficient in at least 127 martial arts, which he simplified and evolved into various forms of elbow strikes!

Advancing elbow!

Turning elbow!

Charging Elbow!

An elbow strikes a vital point; on average, one elbow can take down a child.

Bang bang bang!

The three henchmen the Joker brought immediately knelt down, suffering at least a moderate concussion.

The women watching gasped in astonishment, their eyes shining as they gazed at the brave and invincible Batman.

The male guests breathed a sigh of relief: everyone knew that with Batman's appearance, the criminals were doomed!

That was indeed the case; the thugs remaining in the hall became chaotic.

Some wanted to turn and run away, some wanted to take hostages, and some even shot at Batman, accumulating bragging rights for themselves in prison.

Batman subdued all the villains in just a few minutes, with the help of Butler.

He was handcuffing them when he suddenly heard a familiar scream coming from the direction of the balcony.

It's Rachel's voice!

Batman moved instantly—first delivering a punch to the still-conscious thug, then turning and rushing towards the balcony!

From a distance, the spot where the clown fell was deserted.

He wasn't knocked out by such a heavy attack!?

Batman felt a long-lost shiver run through his heart; he could hardly imagine what the Joker would do to Rachel and Harvey after he woke up!

boom!

The sudden gunshot caused his heart to stop.

Fortunately, the scene that appeared before my eyes was not so cruel.

It's Rachel!

She was clutching a shotgun tightly in her hand, struggling with the clown who was bleeding from the nose and in poor condition.

Detective Batman only needed to glance at their postures and states to reconstruct the crime scene—Rachel must have wanted to pick up the Joker's gun for self-defense, but the Joker woke up, leading to this scene of fighting over the weapon.

Thankfully, it's not too late!

Batman's heart finally settled down.

Rachel breathed a sigh of relief when she saw him.

pity……

You breathed a sigh of relief too soon.

The moment she relaxed, the clown seized the opportunity, using all his strength to snatch the gun and press it diagonally against her temple.

"Hahaha, ahahahaha!"

He laughed so hard he almost fell over, completely oblivious to the blood spurting from his nose.

"Batman, you've lost—!"

Batman was only a few meters away from him, but he hesitated to take a step.

The clown kidnapped Rachel and dragged her backward until her back was against the railing.

The cold evening wind ruffled his disheveled hair, but it couldn't extinguish the smile on his lips.

"Put the gun down!"

Batman's whispers contained a barely perceptible hint of anxiety.

Most people might not notice, but... that's the clown.

"Whoa, aha, oh ho ho, you seem a bit anxious, little bat. What, I've caught a suitable hostage, and you care about her?"

The clown looked down at Rachel provocatively.

I didn't expect her to be so fierce. Even with a gun pointed at her head, she dared to fight back—she bent her arm and elbowed him in the ribs.

"Hiss..." The clown gasped in pain, but his face remained smiling. "Hahaha, I like women with fiery tempers. Unfortunately, I'm more interested in the little bat's true identity."

He grabbed Rachel's hair forcefully, forcing her to look at Batman.

"Now, take off your mask and let everyone see who you are. Otherwise, I'll throw her down!"

Batman looked into Rachel's eyes and recalled the bittersweet memories they shared.

He knew he couldn't agree to the clown's demands.

From the moment he put on the Batsuit, he was no longer Bruce Wayne, he was—Batman!

It's just Batman!!

"Let her go!"

Batman's voice was filled with extreme anger, even carrying a hint of murderous intent.

But that's exactly what the Joker wants!

"You really don't know how to talk."

"Ha ha ha ha--"

The clown laughed maniacally, grabbed Rachel's waist from behind, and yanked her backward with all his might.

Poor Rachel lost her balance and flipped over the railing headfirst, falling to her death.

"you--!"

Batman roared and charged forward without hesitation.

The Joker tried to stop him, but the distance was too great. The gun in his hand became a stick, and he could only hit Batman a few times with all his might.

He was then knocked to the ground again by the iron fist.

The fight between the two was intense and fierce, starting and ending in an instant.

Ignoring the Joker's cries of pain as he lay on the ground, Batman leaped off the top floor of the building.

The howling evening wind blew in my face, bringing a bone-chilling cold.

He looked down—

Thankfully, the top few floors of the building are cone-shaped, with a sloping glass roof below the balconies. Although still slippery, they provide a valuable buffer zone.

Rachel let out a terrible scream and thrashed wildly against the glass.

Her high heels played a crucial role, breaking at the cost of slowing her descent and allowing her to successfully wait for Batman's help.

Batman, headfirst and feet up, slid rapidly down the glass and successfully grabbed Rachel's hands at the edge of the "cliff".

He adjusted his position in mid-air, hugged Rachel from behind, and unfolded the hang glider on his cape.

The two slowed their descent, but the single-person hang glider was clearly unable to support their weight and could only serve as a small parachute.

So the two continued to fall, freefalling from a height of 100 meters.

Leo, who arrived just in time, witnessed this iconic scene. He exclaimed "Wow!" and patted every pocket on his body.

Oh no... he doesn't have a phone.

I originally wanted to record a video, or at least take a photo to remember the moment, but now I can only watch it.

"Pure White, do you think we should go catch them? What if their landing point changes and they hit the ground directly? Even Batman would be turned into bat-chan by now, right?"
