"I know! Here you go!" Shinji Ikari sighed, pulled out five or six Fukuzawa Yukichi bills from his wallet, and said with a smile, "That should be enough for an emergency. I'll go get some more money this weekend. Thanks for your help today, Nagisa-nee!"

"Good!" Nagase Nagisa was quite satisfied with Shinji Ikari's attitude. After Danma Ryuji came up, he gave Nagase Nagisa a wink. Their tacit understanding made Nagase Nagisa realize that this matter might not be so simple. She planned to ask Danma Ryuji what the relationship between the girl in front of her and Shinji was when Rei Ayanami went to take a bath. If he really had wronged Ryoko, hehe... she would definitely teach him a lesson.

"Eat up! Come on! Have some more!" Although it was said to be noodles cooked for Rei Ayanami, in reality everyone got a bowl.

"..." Rei Ayanami seemed to have never been treated so warmly before. Everyone around her had a bewildered expression, and she seemed unsure how to respond to such enthusiasm.

"Are you happy?" Shinji Ikari tilted his head and looked at his childhood goddess, who was squinting from the rising steam of the broth. He really never imagined that one day he would be able to sit face to face with her and eat together. This magical experience made Shinji Ikari feel a little emotional.

“Hmm!” Rei Ayanami nodded, her eyes reflecting the bowl of noodles, then she looked up at Shinji Ikari.

"Then try it. If you think it's good, tell her and thank Nagisa-nee! If you think it's bad, tell her not to waste food!" Shinji Ikari said with a mischievous grin, stirring the noodles in front of him. He smiled, and although the ingredients were simple, he still seemed quite serious.

"Shinji! Don't set a bad example for others!!" Nagase Nagase tapped Shinji Ikari on the head and said with displeasure.

"Delicious..." Rei Ayanami picked up a few noodles with her chopsticks and tasted them. The soy sauce brewed by Ryoko Sakaki made the rich aroma of the noodle soup linger on her tongue. Rei Ayanami looked up and said earnestly, "Thank you."

"Don't be so polite, we'll be living together for a while! Let's look after each other! After we finish eating, I'll go to the convenience store with you to buy some emergency toiletries. Shinji, really, you didn't bring anything with you when you came here!" Nagase Nagisa said happily. She had an inexplicable feeling of wanting to take care of this girl who seemed a little strange.

“Okay!” Rei Ayanami nodded, her eyes, which were pure and clear, now held a hint of liveliness.

"Eat up!" Nagase Nagase said with a smile, urging the girl to eat quickly so she could go out shopping.

"Shinji, it's up to you to pack! Let's go, Rei! Let's go out and buy some things." Hearing Nagase Nagase's words, Rei Ayanami looked at Shinji Ikari somewhat blankly. She seemed unsure whether she should go with him, and she seemed to have never gone to a convenience store to buy what she wanted on her own before, because NERV would prepare everything she needed. She didn't need to make a choice, nor did she have any choice at all. In this respect, she was much more monotonous than Kaworu Nagase.

“Okay!” Rei Ayanami saw Shinji Ikari nod at her and decided to go with him. Shinji Ikari got up and started cleaning up the dishes. He had bought a dishwasher, so he only needed to pour out the soup, rinse the dishes briefly, and then put them in the dishwasher.

For Shinji Ikari, the biggest problem in his life was probably Japan's garbage sorting system. Shinji, who wasn't particularly diligent to begin with, really didn't like Japan's garbage sorting system. What a load of nonsense!

And don't listen to what others say, there is actually a lot of trash on the streets of Japan! There are certainly civilized people, but there are also a lot of lazy people, and you won't see any trash cans on the streets!

"All done!" After finishing his work, Shinji Ikari glanced at Ryuji Danma, who was laying out a makeshift bed on the floor. When Ryoko Sakaki came before, Ryuji Danma had already been forced to sleep on the makeshift bed. Before their shop opened, this kind of thing would probably happen many times.

“Yesterday, a guy who often gets his motorcycle repaired at my place died,” Danma Ryuji said softly, leaning against Lancer. “The police said he was speeding and crashed into the roadside.”

"Oh? Since you've told me, there should be a next step?" Shinji Ikari waved his hand. He had already warned Ryuji Danma, so he should have figured it out soon enough.

"I might go and clean this up soon."

"I want to go and see it too!"

"Does Sister Xiaozhu know?"

"……do not know."

"I understand! I'll let you know before the results are available."

"Thank you."

Chapter 50 is such a great deal!

"Hey! I heard you came into the school gate with a beautiful girl today. The same stunning girl who brought you here last time was with you too. Really? Who is she? Which class is she in? I heard she's a super beauty!" Murai Kunio, who was on good terms with Shinji Ikari, and his two friends approached Shinji with smiles and started asking him about the hottest topic in the school news today. Even when Shinji transferred schools, it didn't generate this much buzz.

As expected, pretty girls are the real hot topic for boys and girls whose hormones are surging.

"Yo! My boys!" Onizuka Eikichi burst into the classroom excitedly! "Cheers! We have another transfer student in our class! A super! Invincible! Beautiful girl!" Onizuka Eikichi shouted excitedly, "Next! Please welcome our transfer student, Rei Ayanami!"

"Eh!" The whole class gasped in surprise, followed by cheers. Rei Ayanami walked in expressionlessly, stepping into what others considered a den of iniquity. Although it was during class time, many students from other classes were already craning their necks to look at Class 3-4. Many were lamenting that such a beautiful girl had ended up in such a disastrous class; it was truly unfortunate.

"Hey! What's your relationship with this guy in front of you?" Murai Kunio asked Shinji Ikari in a low voice with an "I knew it" look on his face. His eyes and expression were full of lewdness, making Shinji Ikari want to punch him right on the nose.

“He’s a colleague, and he’s temporarily staying in the dorm upstairs from me.” Shinji Ikari shook his head. “He’ll probably move out once he finds a place to live.”

"Huh? We live upstairs from you!" Murai Kunio and his friends snorted. "Shinji-kun! It's been so long since we've been to your place! Let's go after school today and bother you!"

"Heh, go ahead if you're not afraid of dying!" Shinji Ikari smirked. You guys? Clearly, after learning about Ryuji Danma's imagined version of events last night, Nagase Nagase treated Rei Ayanami like his sister. You guys? Go and harass Rei Ayanami? You'll probably get your teeth knocked out when the berserk angel executive Yasha comes online! Of course, it's more likely that Ryuji Danma, discovering his wife being harassed, will sacrifice you first, since your street fighting skills are nowhere near Ryuji Danma's level.

"Rei Ayanami, nice to meet you." Rei Ayanami's self-introduction was very simple, so simple that it seemed she didn't want to say a single extra word. Then, amidst the class's barrage of questions, Rei Ayanami tilted her head slightly and fell silent.

"Rei Ayanami, you can sit there!" Eikichi Onizuka pointed to the spot diagonally in front of Shinji Ikari. Kunio Murai cheered excitedly because the spot was right next to him. In that instant, Kunio Murai felt like he was blessed by the heavens! Shinji Ikari rolled his eyes at the guy's reaction. You're kidding me. Just don't give me an extra two ounces of orange juice later.

"Oh! What's your relationship with Shinji Ikari?" Kanzaki Reimi twirled her pen, glancing at Rei Ayanami sitting next to her.

“Colleague,” Rei Ayanami replied simply, then took out her textbook from her bag. The pure white book had not been written on at all.

"Colleagues?" Kanzaki Remi, slumped over her desk, turned to look at Shinji Ikari, who was doing his test in class, with an incredulous expression. "Where do you guys work?"

“NERV.” Rei Ayanami’s voice was cold and almost devoid of any emotion.

"NERV? That UN agency? What are you doing in there?" Kanzaki Reimi raised her eyebrows and looked at the girl in front of her with curiosity. After she returned to school, she had a round of sparring with Shinji Ikari. She was making things difficult for the teacher in class, and Shinji Ikari's words "not on the exam" saved Fuyutsuki-sensei from the predicament. This made him a little interested in teasing Shinji Ikari.

"Yes, you don't have enough permissions." Rei Ayanami glanced at the girl in front of her and said something that made her want to choke.

"..." Kanzaki Reimi was speechless. Well, she didn't want to get into trouble. "So what's your relationship with Shinji Ikari? Are you two high-ranking officials?" She had heard that Shinji Ikari claimed to have a girlfriend, so it seemed possible that Rei Ayanami was one of them! Even Kanzaki Reimi had to admit that her aloof attitude, combined with her appearance, was extremely attractive to men.

"Colleague, you don't have enough permissions for the rest," Rei Ayanami replied, giving a similar response to her previous one.

"..." Kanzaki Reimi was slightly taken aback. "An interesting person." Kanzaki Reimi smoothed her long hair, playing with the ends, and her expression began to show interest as she quickly bombarded Rei Ayanami with questions.

"Your permissions are insufficient." Most of the time, Rei Ayanami would reply coldly, like a heartless, broken record.

Aso Yuu arrived at the newly opened McDonald's in Tokyo-3, the city Shinji Ikari had mentioned, on her motorcycle. "Shinji, that guy, so secretive. He specifically asked me to come to this McDonald's. I wonder what he's up to." Then she sent Shinji a text message on her phone, indicating that she had arrived at McDonald's and would wait for him to come over after he finished get off work.

"Welcome!" As Yuu Aso walked in, she heard the greetings from two female sales clerks. Their voices were clear and pleasant to hear. "I'm sorry, we are currently preparing stock for NERV and do not have any in stock. So if you want to place an order, you may have to wait a while while we make it for you."

"Okay, give me a Sprite first, I'm dying of thirst..." A huge sense of fear suddenly swept over Aso's senses, making him freeze on the spot for a moment. A person with huge spiritual energy fluctuations was standing in front of the French fry machine, hanging up the net bag and shaking it a couple of times to throw out the oil.

“Oh, a guest I haven’t seen before!” Noticing the gaze, Maou Sadao turned around and glanced at Aso Yuu, smiling slightly. “Is he a friend of Shinji-kun?”

"Yes..." For a moment, Asou Yuu felt that he might die. He was facing such a terrifying enemy without any preparation. The instant their eyes met, Asou Yuu felt that he was already a corpse and that he was doomed. But unexpectedly, the other party greeted him politely. His mind relaxed for a moment, and he felt his legs go weak. He subconsciously put his hands on the table to support himself.

"You'd like a Sprite first, right? Is there anything else you'd like to order? I see you've traveled a long way today. How about a Big Mac meal and a serving of Chicken McNuggets? Is there anything else you'd like to eat?" After nodding to Asou Yuu, Maou Sadao replaced the girl who was originally taking his order and, ignoring Asou's attitude, directly took the order for him.

"Do you have a Filet-O-Fish burger set meal? I'll bring one back for Shinji when I see him later," Asou Yuu said with a smile, but inwardly she was thinking fiercely, "This guy is at least an A-rank, and you didn't even give me a hint before making me come here like an idiot? Why don't you just die!" The Filet-O-Fish was indeed for Shinji, but Asou Yuu planned to stuff it into his mouth by "feeding him a patty"!

"Okay! One Sprite, one Big Mac meal, one Filet-O-Fish meal, and one serving of chicken nuggets." Maou Sadao quickly shouted to the person behind him, then turned to look at Aso Yuu in front of him and quickly added, "The Filet-O-Fish to go, right?"

"Yes!" Asou Yuu replied expressionlessly, even though she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket.

"You can sit down first, and we'll bring your food over when it's ready," Sadao Maou said with a smile. "Please feel free to use it; all our food complies with Japanese food laws."

"Really? Thanks a lot then." Asou Yuu moved his numb legs to his seat, then took out his phone and glanced at it. Shinji Ikari had replied to his message, "Surprised?" Asou Yuu read it aloud. He was really surprised, so surprised that his heart was about to jump out of his chest!

"Damn it!" Asou Yuu retorted, then sat down in her seat. After ordering, she went to the back to work, where Maou Sadao was busy. Asou Yuu felt her worldview had been turned upside down. What could possibly make such a powerful person appear in... McDonald's? And seem to be enjoying it so much? Because they needed to prepare hundreds of meals for NERV, the McDonald's kitchen in front of her was operating at full speed, and everyone was busy, even Maou Sadao, who was the acting store manager.

"Looks like you've already seen it." Shinji Ikari's reply came quickly as usual, but it was so bad it made you want to curse.

Yuu Asou slammed her phone on the table in annoyance. This was ridiculous... Hmm? At this moment, Yuu Asou's mind started working. She suddenly realized that Shinji Ikari had obviously already encountered this person from the beginning, and as someone who appeared in a McDonald's in Tokyo-3, it was unlikely that NERV would ignore him. So, was this person stable?

"So it's stable?" Asou Yuu leaned on the table, and a Sprite was placed in front of her... Maou Sadao smiled and nodded to Asou Yuu, then subconsciously responded before suddenly realizing that this was a drink brought to her by an A-level big shot. In that instant, Asou Yuu felt that this Sprite was worth a lot more—it was incredibly good value! No wonder Shinji Ikari wanted to experience it himself!

Chapter 51 Clues and Phone Calls

"It's been a while since we last met!" After dropping Rei Ayanami off at NERV after school, Shinji Ikari asked Misato Katsuragi for leave and then rushed back to meet Yuu Aso, agreeing to pick her up around 10 p.m. to take her back to her place.

After Shinji and Ikari bought some drinks at a convenience store, they headed to a section of road at the edge of the highway. The two of them, like a group of motorcycle enthusiasts, leaned against the roadside and chatted.

"This is this guy's information. It's basically certain that he's very strong, extremely strong, but he also has a strong sense of self and always adheres to his own rules. He's really a strange guy. After all, with his combat power that allows him to easily kill a level two exorcist, he can cause a massacre whenever he wants!" Asou Yuu took a deep drag on his cigarette. He only smoked two cigarettes outside, otherwise he would be scolded to death by Kurosawa Rei when he got home.

“We all know that,” Shinji Ikari said with a regretful expression. He opened the file his friend had handed him, looking at it as he asked, “So he’s not some kind of vengeful spirit, but rather someone seeking revenge on a specific target?” Shinji licked his lips. “But why do you die when you compete against him?”

"It might be related to the black market racing he participated in, page four." Asou Yuu threw the cigarette butt on the road and crushed it out with his toe.

"Hmm..." Shinji Ikari turned to this page. "This is... the underground racing organized by the Ghasts? Hiss, are there many deaths? Or is there only one survivor?" When Shinji first looked at it, he noticed that many people had the Ghasts symbol on their bodies. At the very end, there was a photo of a bunch of corpses being photographed. This photo was already taken by the police. Then he counted the number of motorcyclists and the number of corpses in the photo, and indeed, there was one less than expected.

“I don’t know, because even the survivor is already dead. The police investigated these dead people and found that most of them were good motorcyclists, but they were all lured into accumulating huge debts through various means, and then after this incident, no one bothered to collect the debts.” Aso Yuu sighed. “But this person disappeared.”

"Identity?" Shinji Ikari looked at the person in front of him. "Look at the stickers on this motorcycle, a biker gang?"

“Yes…” Aso Yuu nodded. “The only thing we know right now is that this person was once known as the fastest motorcyclist after Masaki Kyosuke.”

"Kyosuke Masaki?" Shinji Ikari frowned. He hadn't expected this name to come up, especially since he seemed to have just spoken with Kyosuke Masaki not long ago. "Speaking of which, do you know someone at my school who inherited Kyosuke Masaki's motorcycle?"

"I know, I've already investigated. Onizuka Eikichi, one of the former executives of the Berserk Angels, and ultimately the destroyer of the Berserk Angels." Aso Yuu said with a hint of helplessness, "That era is truly nostalgic, carefree. When walking on the street, the only worry was encountering some thugs, not those damned demons and monsters!"

"Not everyone is like you, running into a female ghost as soon as they step out the door..." Shinji Ikari said with a smile. His encounter with Yuu Aso was because Yuu Aso somehow possessed a weak spiritual power and could occasionally see the existence of some spirits. Then one day, she mistook a female ghost for a normal person. She was supposed to be hit by a car and die, but she ended up meeting Shinji Ikari.

Then Shinji Ikari crushed the evil spirit that wanted to commit the crime, saving its life. And this man who didn't want to be a kept man became Shinji's teammate from then on.

“Let me check first… If nothing unexpected happens, we can prepare to go find this guy tomorrow…” Shinji Ikari was speaking when he heard a booming sound coming from afar. Shinji tilted his head and glanced over, then twitched his lips. “The protagonist has arrived.”

"Bosozoku?" Aso Yuu frowned. If street thugs were categorized, bosozoku would be at the very bottom. However, they were relatively simple-minded. Many of them worked during the day and then went out at night with friends who were also struggling at the bottom to drink a couple of the cheapest beers and laugh together, forgetting the pain of their lives.

“Yes, the first one was my homeroom teacher.” Shinji Ikari looked at the traffic rushing past in the distance and a smile crept onto his lips.

"Pfft..." Asou Yuu burst out laughing. "Teachers at your school? Is this school bullying?"

"No, it should be considered... a personality correction? Perhaps a bit of venting anger?" Shinji Ikari shook his head. Only by seeing it with his own eyes could he truly understand what it meant to destroy an academy. This madwoman was no longer targeting the teachers, but was indiscriminately wreaking havoc on the entire campus, just short of setting it on fire.

"Hmm?" Asou Yuu recalled the scene she had just witnessed: a girl was "pitifully" tied to the handlebars of a motorcycle, with several burning candles strapped to her head, looking utterly miserable. "This really isn't school bullying?"

"No, really. That girl almost demolished the school today. If someone's willing to teach her a lesson, at least I might be able to attend class properly tomorrow." Shinji Ikari shook his head. Was she unlucky? No, it was hard to say whether she or Eikichi Onizuka was more unlucky or lucky. "We don't need to worry about it. Their relationship is rather unusual. If we get involved, it might not be to our advantage."

"Got it, they actually finished it all, damn it. How's work at NERV?" Asou Yuu glanced at her plastic bag and shook her head. The two of them had actually finished their drinks. She glanced at the departing convoy. Since it was a special kind of extracurricular teaching by the teacher, she didn't need to help. Those naughty kids definitely needed guidance, otherwise it was only a matter of time before they went astray. And by the time they realized their lives were ruined, it would be too late.

“It’s terrible. The situation at NERV is more complicated than we imagined. They wield terrifying power, but those above them are constantly eyeing this massive corporation with a strange look.” Shinji Ikari shook his head. “Moreover, the thoughts of those above them might be a bit complicated.” Shinji’s expression remained quite serious. He hadn’t been with the company long enough and hadn’t been exposed to much, but he was probably the one who knew the most.

"Hey, it seems your initial idea wasn't so easy after all. We weren't blind last time." Asou Yuu shook her head; she and her companions had witnessed a battle that left a deep impression on them.

By the time they received the intelligence and rushed over, it was too late. When they arrived nearby, someone was already fighting the monster. So Shinji Ikari and his companions watched from a distance. The enemy was a group of exorcists led by a curse master. After they used a series of methods to kill the monster, Shinji and his friends shrugged and decided to go to a nearby night market for a late-night snack. They were already there, so they couldn't leave empty-handed, right?

But then, a sharp gunshot ripped through the night sky, and suddenly a unit appeared, seemingly clad in armor and wielding machine guns. Whether it was power armor or something else, these guys possessed immense strength. Shinji Ikari witnessed the enemy's jutsu users launch an attack, but unsurprisingly, it caused absolutely no damage.

"Those people... are actually easy to find... NATO military-grade ammunition, including heavy weaponry such as grenade launchers, large-caliber sniper rifles, and general-purpose machine guns. The latter two are weapons that ordinary humans cannot easily use. And whether it's power armor or cyborgs, there is no other powerful family in Japan that can equip themselves with such gear. As for those with rich combat experience, who can obviously catch and kill the fleeing exorcists in the dark, then there is only one family left." Shinji Ikari looked at the bright moonlight in the night.

“Your deduction is undeniable, but it also means… it will be more difficult to investigate them.” Aso Yuu shook her head. “Anyway, I will continue to look for them, and I will contact you if I find them.”

“Don’t investigate them yet. I have a feeling,” Shinji Ikari said with a smile, flicking the documents in his hand. “They’re definitely connected to these bastards.” The document Shinji flicked was exactly where the information about the Ghasts was on the photo.

"Them? They can contact something at such a high level?" Shinji Ikari's guess was not new.

“You know, the B-rank incident I encountered on Mount Kintoki before, the other party cleaned it up very thoroughly, obviously it wasn’t the first time they’d encountered something similar.” Shinji Ikari tucked the documents into his leather jacket. He planned to go back and study the documents here carefully, and see if he could find anything.

"..." Aso Yuu glanced at Ikari Shinji, "Speaking of which, did you know? The Metropolitan Police Department's exorcist queen seized a yacht a couple of days ago and took her entourage for a few rounds in Tokyo Bay, seemingly without finding anything."

"Tokyo Bay? What could be there?" Shinji Ikari clutched his helmet, a skeptical look on his face. "Ever since Tokyo was encased in an egg, not many people have lived around Tokyo anymore, which led to the establishment of the Second and Third New Tokyo City..." What are the people inside planning to do? Shinji looked on with suspicion. "Do you have any more detailed information?"

"Details? All I know is that the ship was leased by the Evil Souls Group, but it's very clean and there are no illegal items on board."

"That's the biggest inconsistency. But since they were caught by Yakushiji, they must have detained them along with their families. Is it possible to find any information on these people?"

"can!"

"Buzz!"

"Huh? My homeroom teacher is calling me at this time?"

Chapter 52 Life and death are irrelevant, speed is king!

"Shinji! It seems we've run into the Headless Horseman you mentioned..." Shinji Ikari answered the phone and heard Eikichi Onizuka's slightly fearful voice. It was hard to imagine that such a fearless man would have a slight tremor in his voice when he spoke.

"Where are you?!" Shinji Ikari immediately stood up. Damn it! Their activity range has already reached the vicinity of Tokyo-3?! I just saw them go by! In the short time I was chatting with Yuu Aso, they had probably only ridden about twenty or thirty kilometers! Wasn't that guy supposed to be active along the Tokyo Bay Expressway? How come they've already moved here?

“We’re here at the riverside park now.” The people near Onizuka Eikichi didn’t seem too worried. Shinji Ikari could clearly hear the cheers from the people around him. They seemed not afraid at all about encountering a legend, but rather very happy.

"Stay put, I'm on my way." Shinji Ikari didn't bother with any of the usual "Are you safe?" questions. If they had really encountered the Headless Horseman, it would undoubtedly have been a matter of death or serious injury. The fact that Eikichi Onizuka was calling him meant he had already escaped the situation safely; otherwise, he wouldn't have called Shinji. "Let's go!"

While Shinji Ikari was still on the phone, he had already given Yuu Aso a wink. The moment Shinji finished giving his instructions, Aso hung up the phone. The two of them immediately jumped onto the motorcycle and set off. After starting the engine, they floored the accelerator, and the motorcycle roared off in an instant.

The riverside park where Onizuka Eikichi was located wasn't too far, just a few kilometers away. The two of them arrived on their motorcycles in no time. When they arrived, the group of bikers who were with Onizuka Eikichi had already found some gasoline drums in the park and lit a fire. Shinji Ikari could see them from a great distance.

"Oh!" Onizuka Eikichi, shirtless and smoking, waved at Shinji Ikari's familiar motorcycle. He had probably calmed down, and his expression returned to its previous cheerful state. Meanwhile, Kanzaki Reimi, wearing a berserk outfit, looked a little shaken.

"Is the special extracurricular education over?" Shinji Ikari kicked off the footrest, then got off the motorcycle and hung his helmet on the rearview mirror.

"It's over! It's over! Kanzaki is a good girl, she just used to be a bit of a prankster!" Onizuka Eikichi looked at Ikari Shinji with a smile, while Aso Yuu took out a few packages from the waist bag on her motorcycle, made a simple cup of realgar wine to ward off evil spirits, and made the other thugs drink it. Hearing that there was free wine, the thugs were very happy to come over and picked up the small wine cups to drink one after another.

"Is it here for you or for you?" Shinji Ikari asked quickly, his expression very serious. He really hadn't expected that Eikichi Onizuka, who usually liked to play tricks, would actually encounter such a ghost!

"Ah! Probably, but he hadn't caught up with me yet. I rushed straight onto the bridge, and then..." Onizuka Eikichi said with a cheerful smile as he puffed on his cigarette.

"A bridge?" Shinji Ikari was taken aback. They had a bridge with a demon here, but it was an unfinished, broken bridge. Hmm, that did fit the plot of Eikichi Onizuka's manga.

"Yeah, we flew across the bridge. It didn't have time to catch up, and the motorcycle fell off and exploded." Onizuka Eikichi said with a grin. He felt that he was quite lucky. He had encountered such a deadly urban legend and was still able to escape. Onizuka Eikichi really felt that he was very lucky to be alive!

“Perhaps…” Shinji Ikari sighed, his hand supporting his forehead, a bitter smile on his face. Eikichi Onizuka had underestimated things. “You didn’t escape…” The roar of a motorcycle slowly approached from afar. “He left a mark on you.” A bright spotlight shone on Eikichi Onizuka and Reimi Kanzaki’s faces.

"Am I going to die?" Kanzaki Reimi was still just a young female student after all. Facing two different kinds of life-and-death crises in a row was a heavy burden that a girl her age could not bear. Tears flowed like a burst dam.

"What?! If I remember correctly, it's about racing cars, right?!" Onizuka Eikichi, a cigarette dangling from his lips, stood up and ruffled the girl's hair. "I, Onizuka Eikichi! 22 years old! Single! A great teacher!" He struck a muscular pose! "Protecting each of my students is what I should do!"

Kanzaki Reimi looked at Onizuka Eikichi with teary eyes. His back became blurred through her tears. She rubbed her eyes hard, but the tears kept flowing and blurring her vision. Kanzaki Reimi rubbed her eyes until they were red and swollen. Finally, she could see a man with his back to her, who was climbing onto a used motorcycle that had appeared out of nowhere. He was giving the middle finger to the headless rider of Tokyo Bay, who was almost always dead in the urban legend.

In an instant, Kanzaki Reimi's tears flowed down like a burst dam.

"Is this the car you were talking about?" Asou Yuu looked at the headless rider who had stopped on the highway, then glanced at Onizuka Eikichi beside him. Although Asou Yuu claimed his psychic abilities weren't particularly strong, he genuinely hadn't detected any ghostly spiritual power on Onizuka Eikichi. He could only see the headless rider because the rider had left a mark on him! "Has this guy gone mad?"

"Give the order, I'll follow!" Shinji Ikari sighed. Although his skill level was decent, it was still far from the level Kyosuke Naruto had shown that day. Even a casual pointer from the master was incredibly helpful to him.
