Suspicion, jealousy, and to make matters worse, someone even stole love letters that others had given me—it's laughably stupid.
In fact, Tatsuya Kamio also laughed.
"Moreover, there was someone in this class who actually planned to secretly film the girls' changing room... Didn't some girls not want to be in the same class as the person who took the photos this morning?"
Coincidentally, I had the same thought, except that you lack the ability to do it, while I can.
Tatsuya Kamio didn't mention that Saebashi threatened him with expulsion to help Class D; there was no need for it.
Because based solely on his one-sided statement and the recording in her possession, it would be difficult for her to be exposed; she could easily claim that he was just talking nonsense.
It would be more interesting to let her watch as Class D, which had a chance to be promoted, sink into oblivion forever.
"Now, Horikita, do you still think I have a reason to stay in Class D?"
Horikita opened his mouth, unsure of what to say to persuade Kamio Tatsuya to stay.
Now that things have come to this, no matter who it is or what they say, Tatsuya Kamio can no longer stay in Class D.
Tsk, Horikita, your expression isn't as interesting as I expected.
Shouldn't you have an incredulous look on your face, and then show an expression of utter betrayal?
It's so boring.
"Slap~ slap~ slap!"
Applause rang out in the quiet classroom, and Long Yuan walked out with a satisfied expression.
"I really got to watch a good show, but Kamio, there's something you didn't tell me. You single-handedly caused Class C to lose 400 class points."
Tatsuya Kamio glanced at him but didn't say anything.
The fact that things went so smoothly today is all thanks to Hirata. If that guy hadn't been acting like he was dead, he probably would have jumped out and caused trouble.
It seems that dropping out of school really hit Chi hard, as he hasn't said a word since.
"Alright, now that we've finished talking about Kamio, let's talk about what's between us."
As he spoke, Longyuan produced a contract.
"Here is the contract you signed before. According to the contract, your Class D owes me 5 million personal points. You paid a total of 616,000 points in July and August, and now you still owe 4,384,000."
Then, Long Yuan slammed the contract onto the table.
"While you've just received the points from the preferential treatment test and are still well-funded, please hand over this money."
Four million three hundred and eighty-four thousand, divided among thirty-eight people, would amount to a little over one hundred and fifteen thousand per person.
At this moment, the students in Class D were furious.
They didn't mean to renege on their debt, but being pressured by Longyuan made the students in Class D feel humiliated.
Especially Horikita, because this contract was created because of her.
"Um... Ryuen-kun, could you give us some time? I promise I'll collect the points for you before school ends today."
Kushida was the one who spoke.
Hirata should have stepped forward at this point, but instead, he's like a broken wind-up toy, stuck in a state of self-isolation.
"Alright." Ryuen smiled magnanimously. "For Kikyo's sake, I'll trust you for now. You'd better come up with a plan quickly and give it to me before school ends."
Then, Ryuen looked at Ishizaki and winked at him.
Ishizaki immediately brought Yamada up, and the two of them, one carrying Kamio Tatsuya's desk and the other carrying Kamio Tatsuya's chair, left the D class classroom.
Kamio Tatsuya glanced one last time at Sakura Airi, who looked worried, then at Horikita Suzune, who looked terrible, then at Ayanokouji, who remained expressionless, and then at the D-class homeroom teacher, who looked regretful, and most of the D-class students, before letting out a soft laugh and leaving the D-class classroom.
Goodbye, Class D.
Sports Festival Guidelines
The sports festival was divided into two groups: Class 1 and Class 2D were the Red Group, and Class 3B and Class 4C were the White Group, with scores calculated across grades.
In the battle between the Red Team and the White Team, the loser loses 100 class points, while the winner receives no reward.
Each grade will also have a separate ranking. The class that gets the first place in the overall score will get fifty points, the second place will have its points unchanged, the third place will have fifty points deducted, and the fourth place will have one hundred points deducted.
The competitions can be broadly divided into two categories: all-out competitions and recommended competitions.
In all individual competitions, those who achieve outstanding results will receive rewards, while those who come in last will be penalized.
The school will award the first, second, and third place winners in the individual competition with 5,000, 3,000, and 1,000 points respectively, or the equivalent of 3, 2, and 1 points in the written test (the points cannot be given to others).
The last-place finisher will have 1,000 points deducted, and if they don't have enough points left, they will lose one point on the written test.
These points can be used in the next midterm written exam.
After all the competitions are over, the school will tally the scores for each grade and penalize the bottom ten students in each grade. Students with the lowest overall scores will have ten points deducted from their written test scores.
The Sports Festival has a total of thirteen events, four of which are designated as recommended events.
In addition, the student with the highest score in all competitions will be awarded 100,000 personal points by the school, and the three students with the highest scores in each grade will also receive a reward of 10,000 points.
Furthermore, the order of appearance must be prepared in advance and compiled into a form called the "entry form." Once the entry form is closed, no changes are allowed for any of the competition events.
In the recommended matches, participants can be changed by spending 100,000 private points.
There were nine projects in total, with everyone participating.
The races included the 100-meter dash, the 110-meter hurdles race, the men's pole-dropping competition, the women's ball-throwing competition, the men's and women's tug-of-war, the obstacle course race, the three-legged 100-meter race, horseback riding battles, and the final 200-meter race.
There are four recommended projects to participate in.
Borrowing objects competition, four-way tug-of-war, mixed-gender three-legged race, and a 1200-meter relay race for the whole grade.
The winning team receives 500 points.
As for the individual competition, there are far fewer points. First place gets 15 points, second place gets 12 points, third place gets 10 points, fourth place gets 8 points, and the points decrease by one point for each place below fifth place.
Chapter 174 Sports Festival, The Beginning
After leaving Class D, Kamio Tatsuya followed Ryuen's group into Class C's classroom, where Ishizaki had already placed his desk and chair in the last row of the classroom.
"Now I have an announcement to make. Starting today, you will have a new classmate, Tatsuya Kamio from Class D."
On the podium, Banban Shuma calmly announced the matter.
Most of the students in Class C, like the students in Class D we just saw, looked completely bewildered and had no idea what was going on.
However, naturally, some people noticed what was going on.
"Hey! Longyuan, you didn't use the 20 million points you just collected to get this guy transferred to another class, did you?"
Looking at the slicked-back hair of the guy who stood up and questioned Ryuen without any politeness, Kamio Tatsuya suddenly felt that this was what Class C should look like.
Sure enough, there are idiots like this in Class C.
Why did we arrive at this conclusion?
It's simple. Since this guy is so arrogant in Class C, but no one in the grade has heard of him, it means that his ability or reputation is not even enough to get out of Class C.
In short, this guy is definitely very dissatisfied with Longyuan, but he doesn't have the ability to become a leader.
He's the kind of guy who says he can do it, but in reality, he can't.
"Yes, I used those 20 million to bring in outside help for the class. Do you have any questions about that, Shi Ren?"
So that guy with the slicked-back hair is called Shi Ren. I'll remember that and stay away from him in the future, lest I catch his hair styling.
"You still have the nerve to say there's a problem?" Shi Ren's face was contorted with rage. "Those were 2000 million points belonging to the class! And you just selfishly used them up!"
"This is indeed 20 million points for the class, but what does it have to do with you? Did you contribute even a single point to these 20 million?"
In other words, these twenty million have nothing to do with you. So what are you barking about? Watch out, or I'll kill you!
Oh, I see. This guy is an outsider.
However, Longyuan doesn't need to be so wary of me. If you acted the way you always do, you would have just punched him twice!
After being threatened by Long Yuan, Shi Ren sat down with a grim expression.
"Ryuen-kun, I have a question, which is probably a concern for everyone."
Spending 2000 million points from one's own class to buy an outsider is obviously not something that is easy for people to accept.
"Speak, Kaneda, while there's still some time before the next class."
"When you were collecting points this morning, I think a large portion of the people here felt that you were collecting points to prevent unexpected events—such as offsetting withdrawal from school."
So now you've bought a student from another class. Perhaps you have your reasons for this, but what I want to know is, what do you plan to do if one day a student in our class faces the risk of dropping out?
That's right, this is the question that the students who submitted their points to Longyuan today are most concerned about right now. They submitted their points in the hope that they would have a margin of error.
In the blink of an eye, that margin for error was gone. If Longyuan doesn't provide a reasonable explanation, it will be difficult for them to accept it with a clear conscience.
“I understand your concerns, Kinda, but don’t worry. Since you’ve paid me today, I will naturally provide you with 2000 million private points to prevent you from dropping out when you face the risk of expulsion.”
Then, Longyuan produced a contract, which he had signed with Ban on the deserted island. It stipulated that Ban must pay him 800,000 points every month.
“In an emergency, I will waive this contract and demand points from Ban, so you can rest assured now.”
Then, Long Yuan looked at Shi Ren, who had a slicked-back hairstyle, with a wicked grin on his face.
"Oh, right, you're not included, Shi Ren."
"Humph!"
Shi Ren snorted coldly and said nothing.
Most of the students in Class C accepted this explanation; what else could they do but accept it, since the money had already been spent?
Now they only hope that Longyuan will keep his word and that he will really sacrifice that contract to get points from Ban and then gather 2000 million private points.
Actually, it's not difficult at all.
Longyuan will soon receive a large sum of points from Class D. Combined with the points he currently has, not counting the class's contributions, he will have more than 500 million points.
Then there's the contract for the class. Together, the two contracts will earn you 280 million private points per month.
It will only take six months, until February of next year, for him to have 2000 million points again.
Even if the crisis of dropping out of school comes early and you urgently need points, it doesn't matter, because Tatsuya Kamio still has 700 million private points.
Even if all else fails, as Long Yuan just said, he can still exchange the contracts he has for private points. It's not impossible for Long Yuan to come up with 2000 million right now.
However, the returns would certainly not be as good as the returns over the long term.
Most importantly, Class C currently doesn't have enough class points (less than 300), so even if they have enough personal points, it's meaningless.
Therefore, what Class C should be focusing on right now is not individual points, but class points.
"It's about time, we should go to the stadium and make an appearance."
The sports festival is something that Tatsuya Kamio is very interested in, but the rewards are really a bit of a rip-off.
After putting his schoolbag on the table, Kamio Tatsuya left Class C's classroom. Just as he stepped out of the classroom, Shiina chased after him from inside.
"Please take care of me from now on, Tatsuya."
"Yes, nice to meet you, Hiyori." Kamio Tatsuya smiled. "I had considered this, but I didn't expect it to go so smoothly."
As they were talking, someone from Class D came out of the classroom. It was Chabashira Sae, and her expression was not good.
Seeing her unpleasant expression, Kamio Tatsuya smiled.
You're not happy? That's wonderful.
Your unhappiness makes me happy!
A few minutes later, Kamio Tatsuya and the students of Class C moved to the gymnasium, where students from all three grades, as well as some teachers, quickly gathered.
However, the school's gymnasium is quite large, so it didn't feel crowded. Then, the students sat down in their seats as instructed by their teachers.
After things quieted down a bit, several third-grade students stood up from the crowd and went to the front of the class on the podium.
"I am Fujimaki from Class 3, and I will be the commander-in-chief of the Red Team this time."
It's surprising that Horikita Manabu isn't the one explaining; is he slacking off? ... However, with the start of the semester and the sports festival, the student council is indeed quite busy.
"Before the sports festival begins, I want to give the first-year students a piece of advice, which some of you may think is meddling..."
However, the Sports Festival is indeed a very important event, please keep that in mind, and the experience gained at the Sports Festival will certainly be applied to other opportunities.
Fujimaki's words were practically a tacit indication. As a student who had worked hard at this school for three years, his words were full of experience, which was invaluable information for first-year students who had just enrolled.
"In future exams, many will seem like games at first glance. But no matter which one, they will all become crucial battles for survival in school."
