Barton instantly deflated like a punctured balloon, his whole demeanor slumping.

"Clean up the scene first, treat the injured, and send the uninjured ones for a check-up," Patton said dryly.

Anthony wasn't going to vent his anger on someone unrelated, even if it was Barton, whom he disliked.

"Thank you, Captain Barton."

Anthony thanked him politely, then turned and carried the unconscious black-haired woman on his back. As he was about to take Qi Yan and the others with him, he was surprised to find that Qi Yan had already dusted off his clothes and stood up.

Not only Qi Yan, but also Kafka and Hermer, and even the female prison guard, all got up as if nothing had happened.

Anthony's lips twitched slightly.

So, apart from the person carrying him on his back, everyone else was just acting!

"Gentlemen, please come with me to the infirmary to have your injuries checked."

Anthony said against his conscience.

He didn't want to look at Qi Yan's wicked face for even a second longer, so he turned and left.

The prison guards dutifully made way for Anthony.

Barton's gaze fell on the female prison guard, his usual imposing manner returning, and he demanded:

"You bunch of useless idiots, how did you manage this? Why is there a group of people targeting Anthony?"

"Captain Patton, they must be highly trained assassins. This was a premeditated assassination."

The female prison guard gently adjusted her hat, her orange dragon eyes lowered slightly, avoiding Barton's gaze: "Those people... are quite strong, I'm no match for them."

Barton was so angry that his breathing quickened, but he had no excuse to make things difficult for the female prison guard, so he had to give up in resentment.

"Clean up the scene immediately, arrest all these killers, and torture them severely."

Robin felt a headache coming on.

Memories flooded her mind uncontrollably, like a tidal wave.

The love my father gave me when I was a child, the little moments between my parents, the pain of my father's company going bankrupt and the family breaking apart, my father's daily drowning of sorrows in alcohol, the notice of my father's critical illness, and the long string of numbers at the bottom of the notice representing medical expenses...

Robin looked as if he had been pulled from the water; his eyes opened, and he gasped for breath.

In her line of sight, there was not the familiar ceiling of her own room, but a dim, cold metal ceiling.

The person beside her was not her familiar parents, but... her assassination target, Anthony.

"you're awake."

Anthony's gaze was somewhat complicated as he stared at the black-haired woman in front of him.

"You're awake! Congratulations, you've become a little girl... Mmm!"

Qi Yan was only halfway through his rambling when Himer raised her hand and covered his mouth tightly.

She looked down at her chest; although it wasn't particularly voluptuous, it should have been quite noticeable.

Robin was momentarily plunged into self-doubt.

“Don’t take his words to heart,” Anthony said, slightly annoyed. “Qi Yan is someone who likes to say outrageous things.”

Anthony put it very tactfully.

In less than ten minutes, he had already witnessed just how outrageous Qi Yan's words were.

Of all the people present, not a single one of them said a word against Qi Yan; they were all so angry that their blood pressure soared.

The key point is that amidst Qi's rambling and incoherent speech, a few important pieces of information would occasionally pop up, making Anthony both love and hate him at the same time.

This includes the true identity of the black-haired woman who just helped him.

Anthony's expression grew increasingly complicated.

Robin struggled to his feet, looked around at his surroundings, and asked:

"Where am I?"

She found that the room she was in looked like a medical room at first glance, with various simple medical instruments neatly arranged.

But considering the neatly arranged coffins in the room, Robin felt it was more like a morgue.

“This is my infirmary,” a Sarkaz woman with long, wine-red hair said to Anthony. “It’s also my morgue. I’m the prison doctor and the mortician.”

Robin looked at the woman with a somewhat gloomy expression. She had a lovely face, but because of her black dress and her expression, she exuded an aura that kept strangers at bay.

Qi Yan broke free from He Mo's grasp and complained:

"This is what you call a one-stop service: surgery, coffin placement, and then casually tossing them out of prison. Perfect."

Himer pounced again and sealed Qi Yan's mouth shut.

Anthony strategically ignored Qi Yan and introduced Robin to the Sarkaz woman:

"This is Miss Duma. She's the one who treated your injuries just now."

"Also, Miss Robin, you must be one of the assassins, right?"

Robin's expression changed, and he instinctively reached for the weapon he had hidden on his body, but found nothing.

She realized that Duma had already searched her body while treating her.

Robin let his hands fall limply to his sides, not denying it, but simply raising his own question:

How do you know my name?

“Duma has a list of prisoners here,” Anthony casually explained, then said seriously, “I have no intention of hurting you. On the contrary, I would like to recruit you. You are quite skilled. Would you like to join my prison break team?”

"You... just like that, you exposed your plan?" Robin was somewhat surprised.

Seeing Anthony's calm face, Robin quickly realized what was going on.

"Yes, you don't need to worry about me. With your status in prison, even if I told anyone, no one would believe a lowly prisoner like me. Instead, it would make me a target of public criticism."

Robin pursed her lips, her expression showing some hesitation as she accepted Anthony's invitation.

She recalled her father's gaunt face lying in the hospital bed, and the critical condition notice that almost crushed her.

She could get a huge reward for assassinating Anthony, and she needed that money.

But she just couldn't bring herself to do it, and even when Anthony was surrounded, she instinctively chose to help him.

"Don't be nervous, little sister."

Qi Yan broke free from He Mo's seal once again and said with a grin, "I know your situation. As long as you join us, I will solve your father's illness."

While I can't guarantee a complete cure, I can at least ensure he leaves in a pleasant state.

That's not what he meant!

Hemer got a little anxious and pounced on Qi Yan's back, using all his strength to cover Qi Yan's mouth. He explained, "I am a doctor, and I know some very famous seniors in the medical field. I am willing to treat your father's illness, and at least control his condition."

Robin stared blankly at the two entangled figures, not understanding how they knew about his situation, nor whether he should trust them.

Anthony gave a wry smile and said:

"Don't make things difficult for yourself. You have plenty of time to think it over. Once you've thought it through, you can come to the infirmary to see Duma anytime."

You don't need to leave right now; you can briefly listen in on our prison break plan.

"You're being way too honest."

Robin felt uncertain, fearing that if she didn't agree to join after hearing the story, one of the coffins in the room would become her final resting place.

Unfortunately, some people didn't give her a chance to refuse.

Qi Yan broke free from Hemer once again and shouted, "Let me explain the prison break plan!"

Chapter 170 Mission Impossible and Mission Impossible

"First, let's gather everyone together, then break down the wall, and then leave!"

Qi Yan shouted, gesturing as he spoke, marking the way he planned to break through the wall of Duma's infirmary.

"That's it?" Anthony was stunned.

He had assumed that Qi Yan had gone to such lengths, personally entering the prison and placing people as guards, that he must have a meticulous escape plan.

The result is that sheer force can overcome any technique!

Duma's gloomy face lowered slightly, and she whispered a reminder:

"Everyone is wearing a suppressor, so they can't use Originium Arts. Although I don't have a suppressor, I'm not good at combat, so no one can break through the prison wall in a short time."

Anthony added, "We're deep in the wilderness, we have no supplies, and escaping means certain death."

"Don't worry, everyone. I have already prepared some pretty awesome transportation for you, and I guarantee that you will be safely taken to the Colombian border."

Qi Yan confidently declared, "You don't need to prepare anything. I'll take action the day after tomorrow... no, tomorrow. I'll first launch an attack on the prison's control center to create chaos, and then I'll have my own way of breaking through the walls so everyone can evacuate safely."

Seeing how certain Qi Yan was, Anthony and Dumar had no choice but to suppress their worries for the time being.

Only Hemer recalled the trouble Qi Yan had caused, and his unease grew stronger.

Before she could ask a question, footsteps could be heard outside the infirmary.

Everyone turned to look and saw that the newcomer was a middle-aged prison guard named Li Boli.

"Mr. Anthony, Captain Patton asked me to inquire about the severity of your injuries," the prison guard asked politely.

Anthony regained his composure and said calmly:

"It's not heavy. Tell him to wait a moment, I'll go find him right away."

The prison guard, all smiles and bowing obsequiously, left.

After the prison guards left, Anthony gave Qi Yan a deep look and said helplessly:

"For now, let's follow Qi Yan's arrangements. I'll deal with Barton. Anyone with news should come to the infirmary to find Duma. This will be our temporary base."

Everyone nodded.

Anthony then turned and left, heading to Barton's office.

The others didn't linger either, leaving the infirmary and returning to their cells under the watchful eye of the prison guard, Liboli.

Qi Yan deliberately put himself last in the list.

Back in his cell, he watched silently as Jeston locked the door with his access privileges, a slight smile playing on his lips, and whispered:

“Jesston, I know you’ve been eavesdropping outside the infirmary. The situation has been set up for you. Don’t let Mr. K and me down now.”

His gaze remained fixed on you.

Jeston suddenly looked up, his pupils contracting sharply.

“So it was you.” Jeston stared at Qi Yan, then his attitude softened after a moment. “Thank you for your help, sir. I will do my best, for the beach umbrella company and for Mr. K.”

Qi Yan looked pleased.

Jeston bowed slightly, turned and walked away quickly, his steps becoming more cheerful.

After leaving Area B, Jeston was clearly in a better mood:

"Now that Mr. K's men have infiltrated Anthony's team, I only need to make a little use of them to complete the mission. It seems I can continue with my own game."

With that, he turned around and headed back to Area A.

In Sector A, Robin stood in his cell, looking at his shadow on the wall, muttering to himself with a complex expression:

"Is it really right to kill someone to save my father?"

And that big guy named Anthony... isn't a bad guy.

Robin recalled Qi Yan and Hemer's promises, and her already wavering resolve swayed even more.

However, because the prison guard's appearance was too coincidental, she didn't have a chance to ask Qi Yan what reward she needed for helping her father with his medical treatment.

This made Robin somewhat hesitant.

Just then, her cell door was opened, and Jeston swaggered in.

Robin recognized the man as the prison guard who had just returned from monitoring her.

“It was me, and not just me.” Jeston’s face was laced with a wicked smile, making no attempt to hide his malice. “I heard your conversation in the infirmary, and I could see you were wavering.”

But I must remind you of something: how do you know that the person who made that promise to you is Anthony's true ally?
