She watched helplessly as Mephisto beckoned and summoned a monster covered in active source stones from a corner of the bookstore.

Mephisto broke off a sharp piece of Originium and held it in front of Vika's face.

Thick blood was slowly dripping from the Originium, and a pungent, bloody smell filled Vika's nostrils.

"no, do not want!"

Vika's piercing screams echoed through the bookstore.

The Reunion Movement members on duty in the bookstore felt a chill run down their spines and turned their heads away in terror, unable to bear looking at the horrific scene.

Even the Reunion Movement squad members passing by quickened their pace and hurried away from the bookstore.

"Vika, why are your eyes red?"

Rosalyn was lying listlessly on her desk when she saw Vika return. The first thing she noticed was that Vika's eyes were clearly wet from crying.

Upon hearing Rosalyn's question, the others in the classroom also looked over.

Anna immediately dropped her notebook and rushed to Vika's side.

Seeing Vika's red and swollen eyes, Anna quickly asked with concern:

"Has someone bullied you? How dare they disobey Qi Yan's orders? Tell me, and I'll go and teach them a lesson!"

Vika flinched slightly, managing a forced smile:

"I'm fine. I just thought about my parents and felt a little sad, so I cried by myself for a while."

Her voice was hoarse, as if something was stuck in her throat.

A hint of suspicion flashed across Anna's face.

Vika pushed her away, clearly not wanting to explain further, and silently returned to her corner to sit down.

Anna and the others exchanged glances, each with concern in their eyes.

In the end, Sonia patted her on the shoulder and advised her:

"Let Vika calm down first, don't force her."

Anna looked somewhat downcast. After hesitating for a moment, she agreed to Sonia's idea.

On the windowsill, Qi Yan crossed his legs and silently watched the little bear girls.

Qi Lin, Zoya, and Natalia did not come forward either.

Qi Lin gestured with her chin toward Vika, who was sitting alone in the corner, and asked in a low voice:

"Qi Yan, what are your thoughts?"

"In my opinion, you should call me 'older brother' instead of calling me by my full name, or you can call me 'onii-chan'."

Qi Yan's irrelevant reply earned him a cold, deathly stare from Qi Lin.

Under the growing threat of the ominous star overhead, Qi Yan clicked his tongue and changed his words:

"My Originium Arts aren't foresight, how am I supposed to guess what Vika's experiences were like? Maybe she secretly ran away and got a nucleic acid test."

"Get a nucleic acid test?"

Qi Lin's face was full of confusion.

Zoya and Natalia were also listening in, their faces equally bewildered.

Seeing that the three did not understand, they said in unison:

"This is a bit difficult to explain. Come with me tonight, and I'll find a secluded spot where Natalia and I will demonstrate it for you."

Upon hearing this, the three of them immediately realized what was happening.

"You bastard, you're always spouting nonsense!"

Qi Lin could no longer tolerate it and immediately chose to strike back.

Chapter 022 Escape and Infiltration

As evening approached, the city of Chernobog was already shrouded in darkness due to the natural disaster.

Standing in front of the Peterheim School wall, Qi Yan rubbed the back of his hand, silently estimating the height.

On the back of his hand, a row of teeth marks was slowly fading.

"No wonder bears have the word 'dog' in their names; they really do bite when they get angry."

Qi Yan shook his hand, and the teeth marks disappeared completely.

He had just finished dinner and, unable to contain his restless heart, went to flirt with Sonia.

As a result, he was chased down two floors by this little bear girl.

If it weren't for the impending natural disaster that triggered his physical reaction, keeping his Golden Eyes at the forefront, he would have been utterly crushed by Sonia.

Even so, Sonia still managed to find an opportunity and bite his hand.

"By the way, if you get bitten by a bear, do you need a rabies vaccine? With everyone on Terra having superhuman physiques, is there even a rabies vaccine?"

Qi Yan felt a sudden panic.

"No, once we get to Rhodes Island, I have to get the old lynx to give me an injection."

Muttering to himself, Qi Yan slightly bent his knees and gently pushed himself over the school wall.

As Qi Yan performed a fancy somersault in the air and landed steadily, several lights shone on him.

"One hundred points, thank you judges!"

Qi Yan smiled and waved his thanks in the direction of the light source.

The Reunion Movement members who surrounded them were immediately dumbfounded.

"What do you mean, 100 points? What's wrong with you, kid?"

"Get back here right now, and don't even think about sneaking away under the cover of night!"

A reprimanding voice came from beneath the masks of the group.

Qi Yan chuckled: "You've misunderstood. I never intended to sneak out. I was planning to break out openly and honestly."

Several Reunion Movement members were stunned for a moment, and couldn't help but wonder if there was something wrong with their ears.

But the next moment, they witnessed the boy in front of them burst forth with golden light in his pupils.

This was the last thing they saw before they lost consciousness.

Qi Yan stood beside the group, slowly closed his eyes, and suppressed the golden pupil state back to normal.

Under the influence of the natural disaster perception, if he hadn't tried his best to suppress it, he would have already entered the state of full golden eyes.

"Phew, time is of the essence. I need to get this done before Patriots finds me."

Qi Yan's pupils returned to black, with only a barely perceptible glimmer of gold occasionally flashing across his eyes.

Not long after Qi Yan left, several more furtive figures slipped out of the school wall.

"Huh? Why are there a few Reunion members who have passed out here?"

One of the figures noticed the situation and was clearly surprised.

His companion, however, spoke with excitement:

"Never mind all that for now, let's seize this opportunity to sneak into the school and rescue the children."

Without further ado, the group quickly bypassed the unconscious Reunion Movement members and scaled the wall.

They jumped into the campus, whispered a few words to each other, and then made their way towards the teaching building.

Unbeknownst to anyone, a pair of golden eyes were fixed on them from inside the teaching building.

“If an outsider sneaks into the school, notify the students to hide.”

Qi Lin turned to Anna and gave her an order.

Anna's expression turned serious, and she quickly left the classroom.

Outside the teaching building, the figures quickly arrived, looked around carefully, pushed open the window of a classroom, and jumped in one by one.

The last person to enter didn't forget to gently close the window behind them.

"Everyone split up and check each classroom to find the students. Be careful not to go to other floors rashly, so as not to cause panic among the students due to insufficient manpower."

The person who was clearly the team leader among them gave the orders.

The other members nodded in agreement.

"Okay, let's begin... hmm?"

Just as the captain was about to give the order, he suddenly realized that something was wrong.

The temperature inside their classroom was dropping rapidly.

"It's Originium Arts, there are Infected individuals, and they are warlocks from the Reunion Movement!"

The captain quickly made a judgment, drew his weapon, and rushed towards the classroom door.

When facing a warlock who has mastered powerful Originium Arts, you must locate the opponent as quickly as possible and engage in close combat to have any chance of winning.

The captain slammed his body against the classroom door.

He felt as if he had crashed into a block of solid ice, the biting cold instantly penetrating his protective suit.

Fortunately, he reacted quickly enough that the classroom door, which wasn't completely frozen, was smashed open by him.

The corridor outside the door was dimly lit.

Only a pair of golden eyes slowly approached in the darkness.

"Instead of running away, you're moving closer to me?"

The captain felt a surge of excitement, gripped his tactical baton tightly, and charged forward with all his might.

When they got close, the captain was surprised to find that the enemy in front of him was actually a petite girl.

Even so, he didn't stop his movements and slammed his hand down hard on the girl's waist.

A muffled thud echoed in the dimly lit corridor.

The captain's figure flew up like a tattered sack before crashing heavily to the ground.

"Cough, aren't you a warlock?" The captain clutched his chest, almost unable to breathe from the pain. "How do you have such strength?"

"Ursus military and police?"

In the darkness, Qi Lin slowly emerged, a flash of hatred crossing her eyes as she looked at the man on the ground.

The captain fell to the ground, looking at the classroom he had rushed out of, only to find it completely silent, with frost already spreading outwards from the classroom door.

The reason is self-evident.

The captain's face showed a hint of despair, but even more so, regret.

He glared at Qi Lin and said hatefully:

"Damn the Reunion Movement, I never thought they would leave behind a strongman like you just to keep an eye on a group of students."

I advise you not to harm these students, otherwise, when the Ursus Third Army arrives, you will witness the true wrath of the Ursus Empire!

“Ursus?” A sharp ice crystal spike slowly condensed in Qi Lin’s hand. “Although I’m not part of Reunion, I don’t have any good feelings towards Ursus either.”

The icy spikes pressed against the captain's brow, the chilling sensation slowly seeping into his skull.

"Get back to the classroom and don't do anything until I contact you."

Qi Lin's voice was colder than ice crystal spikes.

But the captain seemed not to hear, staring in astonishment at what was behind Qi Lin.

There, several figures slowly emerged from the darkness, following Qi Lin.

One of the figures saw him and exclaimed in surprise.

"Father?!"

"Zoya!" The captain's face was filled with astonishment. "Why are you here? Where is your mother?"

Zoya rushed over and threw herself into the captain's arms, clutching his military and police uniform tightly, tears streaming down her face.
