They can't be stripped of their clothes and put on them if they don't enter the school gate, since W told him to find clothes at the school.

The two Reunion Movement members guarding the gate felt a chill run down their spines for no apparent reason.

Looking around, apart from the two new students who had already turned and walked into the school, there was nothing wrong.

The two studied it for a while but couldn't find the reason, so they simply put it out of their minds and chatted casually about which store to rob after their shift.

At school, Qi Yan was still pondering how to solve his clothing problem.

Qi Lin glanced at him a few times and couldn't help but ask:

"So what's going on with all of this?"

"Hmm?" Qi Yan thought for a moment and said seriously, "The people of this land always like to compromise and moderate their temperament. For example, if I say that I am a student and want to enter the school, the old man will never believe me. But if I say that I am here for his precious daughter, he will compromise himself and be willing to believe that I am a student."

On Qi Lin's smooth forehead, there were faint blue veins throbbing.

She clenched her teeth, and her voice seemed to be squeezed out from between them:

"What I'm asking is, what exactly is your purpose in coming to Chernobog, and what is the situation in this city? I thought it was just that the outside was surrounded, but how come the city center is also under control?"

"You have so many questions. You came to Chernobog to wait for someone. As for the situation in Chernobog, you've seen it yourself. A violent organization called Reunion is infiltrating and controlling Chernobog, and they want to start a carnival for the infected here."

You know the Reunion Movement, right? They're a group of infected people wandering the frozen wastelands, rebelling against the tyranny of Ursus.

Qi Yan explained casually, as if coaxing a child.

Qi Lin took a deep breath and pressed on with the question:

"So how did you find out about this?"

"Since you keep asking, I have no choice but to tell you the truth."

Qi Yan's expression suddenly turned somewhat melancholy. He slowly raised his head and gazed at the distant horizon.

Qi Lin paused for a moment, then, as if thinking of something, her eyes suddenly darted away, and she began to feel resistance.

"Don't say anything more, I'll listen to whatever you say..."

"These are all things from high school textbooks. Since you hadn't even graduated from junior high when we started our life of wandering, it's hard for me to explain them to you."

The two spoke at the same time, but Qi Yan's voice quickly drowned out Qi Lin's.

"Hmm?" Qi Yan tilted his head in confusion. "What were you trying to say?"

"I told you to go die!"

"I understand, I understand. It's all about being aloof. The younger sister is getting older and doesn't dare to openly like her older brother, so she can only choose to be aloof."

Qi Yan looked at his younger sister with a caring expression, wanting to ruffle her hair.

But Qi Lin avoided it with a look of disgust:

"Your hands are covered in blood and ash, get out of here!"

Qi Yan jogged a few steps and arrived at the school square. He jumped directly into a fountain pool to wash the blood off his body.

"Hey student, could you please come out? Water resources are very precious on campus. If you keep doing this, no one else will be able to drink it."

Just as Qi Yan was washing his face with water, a female voice with a slightly boyish tone came from inside.

Qi Yan looked up and saw a girl in a gray school uniform standing by the fountain, her crimson eyes fixed on him, and her soft gray bear ears twitching slightly.

Qi Yan washed his hands as if nothing had happened and replied:

"It's okay, I'm not drinking anyway."

The girl had never seen anyone as shameless as Qi Yan before, and her expression was somewhat astonished.

"But this is the school's largest water source. If you don't drink here, where else can you drink?"

Qi Yan sat down next to the fountain, took off his shoes, and began washing his feet:

"If I'm thirsty or hungry, I'll just run out of the school to find something to eat. There's such a big city outside, how could I possibly starve to death?"

Little Bear Girl, what's your name?

"What little bear girl? You..." A hint of disgust flashed across the girl's face, but her tone changed. "My name is Zoya. You say you have a way to leave this school?"

"My name is Qi Yan, and this is my younger sister, Qi Lin."

Qi Yan introduced himself casually before answering Zoya's question:

"Leaving is quite simple, but once you get out, you might run into Patriot again, and nine times out of ten you'll be thrown back."

Zoya's expression froze slightly.

She knew about the Patriots; all the students, including herself, were protected by the Patriots and locked up in the school.

However, she had some doubts in her heart, wondering how much of Qi Yan's words were true and how much were false.

In her view, Qi Yan was clearly a child just like herself, so how could he possibly have the ability to come and go freely under the control of the Reunion Movement?

Compared to her hesitation, Qi Yan seemed incredibly familiar with her:

"Little Bear Mom, do you know where I can get clothes?"

"Find me some clothes, and when I sneak out tonight, I'll take you with me. We'll eat and drink well together. Isn't that a good deal?"

Zoya was somewhat unaccustomed to Qi Yan's personality, and her brows furrowed slightly.

In the end, she didn't say much, and turned around to say:

"I'll take you to the academic affairs office; they have some spare school uniforms there."

Chapter 007 Beat Them Up

Soaked to the bone, Qi Yan followed behind Zhuo Ya with his younger sister.

He left footprints on the ground as he walked.

Qi Yan looked at the little bear girl walking ahead, and the corners of his mouth turned up slightly.

Zoya, this name still feels a bit unfamiliar to him. He prefers another name for Little Bear Girl, or rather, her code name, Wormwood.

Otherwise, he wouldn't bother with an insignificant passerby.

Walking through the corridor of the teaching building, Zoya silently stood in front of a room, pointed to the doorplate, and said:

"This is the Academic Affairs Office. There are school uniforms inside. Go in and get them yourself."

Qi Yan shook his silver-white wolf ears and swaggered in through the door.

Qi Lin didn't move, standing silently beside Zhuoya.

"What's in there?" Qi Lin asked.

Zoya glanced at her and explained:

"Several students, all boys, have taken over the administration office. Their parents have some influence, and they are now the strongest gang in the school."

From inside the Academic Affairs Office room, one could hear Qi Yan talking to someone.

The exchange was clearly unpleasant, and the other party soon started swearing.

Qi Lin nodded, accepting the explanation.

This time, it was Zoya's turn to be puzzled:

"Aren't you angry? I was just lying to your brother."

“He definitely needs to find some clothes. He would have run in even if you hadn’t told him,” Qi Lin said calmly. “Besides, you need his actions to demonstrate his abilities and gain your trust. Compared to my disgust at you for lying, I’m more curious about why he chose you.”

Why do you want to run away from this school?

Zoya didn't quite understand the brother and sister's thinking.

Inside the academic affairs office, the sounds of fighting began to emanate, interspersed with the screams of the boys and their eerie "hehehe" laughter.

Zoya pursed her lips, her soft little bear ears twitched, and she began to worry about what would happen to those classmates.

She hesitated for a moment, then confessed:

“I want to leave this school and go to another high school called Peterheim to find my father and tell him about my mother’s…death.”

Qi Lin's expression shifted slightly, and she felt a pang of sympathy for the young girl from Ursus in front of her.

Zoya continued:

“My father is a military police officer in Chernobyl. He should be at Peterheim High School right now, defending against the attacks by those Reunion Movement thugs.”

"Little Bear Mom, if your father is a soldier or policeman, then you're in big trouble."

The noise in the academic affairs office subsided, and Qi Yan walked out dressed in clean clothes:

"As a military police officer, he will face the Patriots' team, as well as the Yeti Squad and the Kingkiller Squad. Choose one of the three ways to die."

Zoya clenched her fists, glaring angrily at Qi Yan:

“My father is very strong, and the military and police in Chernobyl are well-equipped and numerous. The fact that the Reunion Movement has only been able to control the outskirts of Chernobyl for so many days is all thanks to my father’s efforts.”

Qi Yan smiled, unusually refraining from adding fuel to the fire.

The armed forces in Chernobyl were indeed quite disciplined, but unfortunately for them, they were facing the Reunion Movement at its peak.

Chernobyl has not fallen, simply because the Reunion Movement is still waiting.

"Why aren't you wearing your school uniform? You're wearing adult clothes instead."

Qi Lin spoke up to change the subject between the two.

"I wasn't planning to sneak out at night. Wearing the school uniform would be too conspicuous. I just happened to see some other clothes in the registrar's office. They must have been left behind by a teacher."

As Qi Yan was speaking, he heard chaotic footsteps coming from one end of the corridor.

He turned his head and saw a group of students with angry faces.

At the same time he saw those students, those students also saw him.

To be precise, he saw Zoya beside him.

"The fountain in the square has been polluted. Someone said they just saw you, Zoya, passing by there. We need an explanation!"

The students were pointing the finger at Zoya.

When faced with the group of students who came to her door, Zoya's expression changed, and she subconsciously looked at Qi Yan.

Then she froze.

Qi Yan, his face contorted with rage, pointed at the registrar's office door and shouted:

"I know who the culprits are. They're in the academic affairs office. I just went to argue with them, but they still wouldn't listen!"

"You've all arrived just in time! Let's all go together and teach those bastards a lesson!"

The students became even angrier after hearing this.

"I knew Constance and his gang were bastards, no good. They just act tough all the time because their fathers are nobles."

"They've taken over most of the school's food and that's not enough; they've even started to sabotage our water supply. This is intolerable!"

"Beat them up!"

Qi Yan stood at the entrance of the Academic Affairs Office and loudly urged:

"You guys are right, let's rush in and beat them up. I'll guard the gate for you guys, we won't let them escape."

A group of students, blinded by anger or simply venting their emotions in response to the situation, stormed into the academic affairs office.

Soon, screams came from inside again.

Zoya looked stunned; she never dreamed that things could be resolved this way.

At this moment, Qi Yan and his sister looked at her simultaneously and said in unison:

"Why aren't you running? What are you waiting for?"

Zoya was stunned for a moment.

Qi Yan and his sister had already turned and run away, so she quickly took a step and chased after them.

In an empty classroom, the three of them casually moved a chair and sat together.

Zoya was still slightly out of breath. She looked at Qi Yan, who was unharmed but breathing even harder than she was, and her eyes were filled with doubt.

“Your physical strength is even worse than mine, how did you manage to beat Constin and the others?” Zoya asked.
