At that moment, they only regretted that their parents hadn't given them two more legs.

Many people tripped and fell in the chaos, and then someone grabbed them by the tail and forcibly dragged them along.

Qi Yan finished counting the last word with a grin, then flicked his wrist, and a thin line of blood snaked forward, lifting a person's calf and swinging it upward.

The man screamed and flew high into the sky, disappearing from everyone's sight.

Only Theresa vaguely sensed that the person had been thrown into an out-of-control turbulent current by Qi Yan and teleported away once again.

"Is that why you just flew up there?"

Theresa unconsciously transformed herself a bit.

While she was distracted, Qi Yan below threw several more unlucky guys away, then slowly watched the remaining people flee the scene.

Qi Yan then ignored them and climbed back up the cliff to Theresa.

"what a pity."

As soon as he climbed up, Qi Yan couldn't help but exclaim.

"What's there to regret?" Theresa asked, puzzled.

"There was no wind around you when I was climbing up, so I deliberately slowed down."

Theresa took a moment to react before quickly covering her long dress.

"I was even imagining being blown away by the wind, and then you rush up and grab me, and we put on a touching scene of life and death separation, vowing never to let go."

After Qi Yan finished speaking, she asked innocently, "Why are you covering your skirt?"

Realizing she had been tricked, Theresa released her grip and said expressionlessly, "If the wind can blow you away, I guarantee I'll run as far away as possible the moment I encounter it."

"But only you can blow this kind of wind," Qi Yan said, looking aggrieved.

"What wind?"

"It's all from pillow talk."

"........."

Theresa turned and left.

Qi Yan hurriedly followed with an embarrassed smile, trying to hold Theresa's little hand, but was shaken off.

He then reached for Theresa's hair.

Before he could even touch those soft pink strands of hair, a pea-sized magic crystal flew over and hit him precisely on the forehead.

Qi Yan clutched his forehead and let out a mournful cry. Theresa took the opportunity to step into another temporal turbulence without looking back and disappeared.

When Qi Yan caught up with Theresa and arrived at a new area, he found that it was still a small battlefield.

Unlike before, this time the Victoria soldiers retrieved a mobile Originium cannon and were chasing the Sarkaz forces all over the place.

Theresa stood outside the battlefield, silently watching as the Sarkaz team's Originium Arts barrier was torn apart and the team was blasted apart by Originium cannons.

"Aren't you going to help?" Qi Yan asked, standing next to Theresa.

“I can’t save everyone,” Theresa said regretfully. “This war broke out to make the Sarkaz realize some things.”

"Is this your opinion?"

"That's Sarkaz's opinion."

Qi Yan nodded and strode into the battle area once again.

The scene, almost identical to the one before, played out again. Qi Yan chuckled and mingled into the crowd, wielding his bloodline and sending both sides of the battle fleeing in terror.

When Qi Yan returned, Theresa stared at him intently.

Qi Yan felt a chill run down his spine from being stared at, and quickly looked down to check if he had any dirt on him.

“I don’t understand, why did you do this?” Theresa suddenly asked.

"I just wanted to show off in front of you," Qi Yan said with a grin. "Am I kind?"

"If you don't like seeing life disappear, why didn't you stop the war in the first place?" Theresa pressed.

"Is that something I can stop?" Qi Yan retorted.

Theresa nodded: "That's true. This is a war that Theresis and I started. I shouldn't be asking you this kind of question."

“Even without you and Theresis, there would be Theresis East, Theresis Northwest, or Theresis Southwest.”

Qi Yan said dismissively, "The world is a place where unity will eventually lead to division, and division will eventually lead to unity. History is a history of war."

Theresa smiled:

"It seems like all you can say are these kinds of grand principles."

Qi Yan shrugged: "Because this is not my forte. If you want to talk about such profound topics, you should go find Lao Bo, who is flying freely in the sky."

Do you need me to elbow him down?

"It's so relaxing being with you."

Theresa turned around again, without looking back, and greeted Qi Yan, "I sense some presences; they are your friends."

Qi Yan followed along happily, casually saying:

"Male or female, female leaves ID, male self-reliant."

"Luckily, they were a group of young girls."

Chapter 716 The Escape Trio

Vina's vision blurred, and a deafening buzzing sound echoed in her ears.

She was somewhat dazed, feeling her thoughts were scattered, and could only vaguely hear someone calling her from afar.

Gradually, Vina's lost senses returned, and she found herself being carried on someone's shoulders and moved quickly.

The sound of wind returned, along with the roar of various Originium Arts.

"Vina, wake up!"

Vina's vision cleared up, only to find that the person in front of her was not Morgan.

"Mandela, what are you doing?"

"Have you been blown senseless by the explosion?"

Mandra, carrying Vina, looked annoyed when she heard the question: "You were ambushed by Sarkaz witchcraft and flew up, really high!"

"If I hadn't stopped you with the stone pillar in time, you would have been swept away by the turbulent current and lost forever. You might have even fallen into the Sarkaz's lair."

“What about Morgan?” Vina asked.

“I’m here,” Morgan caught up from behind. “I just used Originium explosives to hold off the Sarkaz pursuers, but it won’t last long.”

Vina patted her fluffy head hard, finally regaining her fragmented memories.

After she boarded the Windermere warship with the Doctor, the Doctor seemed to have forgotten about her and did not continue to assign her action instructions.

Mandela had a similar experience.

On the Windermere warship, one was the crown prince wielding the national sword, and the other was a Deeppool man who intended to divide Victoria. Although the soldiers of Windermere did not give them special treatment, they still intentionally or unintentionally kept their distance.

Morgan and his companions were also implicated as a result, and the group chatted idly on the warship until the war broke out. They were then evacuated from the main ship under Windermere's command.

Not long after, a power that Vina couldn't comprehend erupted in the canyon where the airship crashed, teleporting everyone away, including herself.

In this place where the rules were completely chaotic, Vina dared not make any big moves, fearing that she would be sent flying to an altitude of 10,000 meters and then freefall at any moment.

However, she was also lucky. After wandering around cautiously for a while, she encountered Mandra and Morgan. The three of them met up and were about to go find the others when they were ambushed by a Sarkaz.

With that, Vina exhaled a breath of stale air, and her weak body gradually regained its strength.

“This can’t go on. We have to find a way to get rid of the Sarkaz.”

Vina was carried on Mandela's shoulder, and she tried her best to turn her head to observe the pursuers behind her.

Mandela, annoyed by Vina's fidgeting, pinched the soft flesh of her thigh:

"Stop spouting this nonsense. You're not one of those high and mighty figures anymore. Either offer some useful advice, or stay put and don't move."

Vina gasped in pain.

Morgan casually tossed down another Originium bomb and asked:

"Mandela, can't you fly?"

“Now?” Mandela’s eyes widened. “Who knows what strange things will happen if I fly? I don’t want to end up plunging into a rock.”

"Make a large-scale explosion," Vina suddenly said.

"What do you mean?"

Mandela was puzzled, but Morgan, who was beside her, immediately understood Vina's plan.

"Use explosions to figure out the rules of the chaos in the vicinity?" Morgan frowned. "But that could easily affect us and attract other Sarkaz teams."

Small-scale battles are to the Sarkaz's advantage; now the Sarkaz are actively seeking us out.

Vina said firmly, "But if we continue to stalemate, we will be caught up by the Sarkaz sooner or later. Making a commotion will not only help us find our way forward, but may also attract Victoria's team."

Continuing to flee will only delay our death. We must take a gamble, on the efficiency of Victoria's soldiers. Windermere is the Duke of the Frontier, and her warriors will not be easily defeated.

I believe they have amassed a sufficient force, gathered weapons, and are looking for an opportunity to retaliate!

“You’re gambling with your life!” Mandela said, displeased.

"We've now entered a situation where we have to gamble with our lives!"

Mandela took a deep breath and said angrily, "I've had enough of you! So what if you made a little noise? Keep your bombs!"

She tossed Vina to Morgan, then gripped her cane and activated Originium Arts.

The surrounding sand and gravel, as if summoned, automatically gathered around Mandela, lifting her up to a near-ground height.

"Let me go!"

With a low shout from Mandela, a sandstorm rapidly spread outwards from her center.

To ensure the sandstorm spread to a sufficiently large scale, Mandela sacrificed its lethality; the sand and gravel that blew against people would at most cause some pain, but it spread at an alarming speed.

Amidst the swirling sandstorm, eerie holes of all sizes appeared, swallowing up all the approaching dust and sand without a trace.

Before Mandela could even show a hint of joy, a crossbow bolt pierced the sandstorm and grazed her shoulder.

Mandela was instantly terrified and broke out in a cold sweat.

As she made her move, her position was completely exposed to the Sarkaz who were chasing after her.

"I can't let myself be the only target!"

Mandra complained, then waved his hand to conjure a stone pillar that lifted Vina and the other woman, and carried them away quickly.

The Sarkaz behind kept firing crossbow bolts in an attempt to shoot down Mandra, but Morgan cut them all down.

When Vina realized that the hammer she had been holding when she fell unconscious was nowhere to be found, she had no choice but to remove the Breath of Kings and temporarily use it as a weapon to help Morgan share the burden.

"The situation seems worse than I thought."

After Vina deflected another crossbow bolt, she observed the pursuers behind her and the turbulent spaces whose positions had been revealed by the sandstorm, her expression somewhat grim:

“These turbulent currents actually change over time, constantly expanding and even giving rise to new individuals. Mandela, how long can you hold on?”

“I’m going to call Qi Yan in five minutes,” Mandela said with a dark face.

Vina and Morgan understood what she meant, and while fending off the arrows, they fell into deep thought.

Just as Vina slashed the arrow again, she suddenly felt her body tilt to one side and almost get thrown out.

"what happened?"

"...See for yourself."

Mandra stopped at the stone pillar and let out a desperate sigh.

Vina followed Mandela's gaze, and then her golden pupils suddenly contracted.

In her vision, the vast expanse of yellow sand seemed to be swallowed by an invisible maw, and this maw was expanding toward the three of them.

Morgan watched as the Sarkaz squad that had been chasing them turned and fled, then sheathed her weapons and looked back at the temporal turbulence that was closing in on her.
