But as the aftershocks of the explosion gradually subsided, the Blood Demon Lord reappeared in everyone's sight.
His injuries were more severe, blood flowed continuously, dripping onto the ground and staining the earth red. His once exquisite dress was tattered, and even his hands were mutilated.
Even so, the Blood Demon Lord never considered retreating, nor did he consider wasting his power to heal his injuries.
He has only one goal.
Slay Windermere!
"Stop it!"
The blue-clad youth stood in front of the Blood Demon Lord, conjuring numerous tentacles in an attempt to slow him down.
"You are welcome to try to kill me or devour me."
The Blood Demon Lord laughed wildly, manipulating his own flowing blood to transform it into a blood whip that swept across the sky, instantly destroying Shuiyue's tentacles, binding Shuiyue's body, and flinging her high into the heavens.
A jet-black blade fell, striking the Blood Demon Lord's shoulder with full force.
The terrifying power caused the Blood Demon Lord to lose control and kneel on one knee, shattering the ground.
Amiya wielded Shadowy Cloud, her pupils flashing with diamond-shaped magical light, and a mental shock erupted, enveloping the Blood Demon Lord.
Even the Blood Demon Lord, who took the blow head-on, couldn't help but groan and experience a momentary lapse in concentration.
"Now!" Amiya whispered.
The earth trembled and the soil surged, attempting to engulf the figure of the Blood Demon Lord.
Golden chains, crafted from runes, attacked from all directions, piercing the Blood Demon Lord's mangled body and binding him firmly.
Mudrock was enduring the endless erosion of the bloodline, but just this one distraction allowed a swarm of bloodline worms to break through her defenses, attach themselves to her arm, and bite her.
However, the Blood Demon Lord did not show the slightest emotional fluctuation due to Mudrock's injury.
Once he stood there, he never thought of leaving. He acknowledged his greed and accepted the betrayal of others.
Having given up hope of living, he had long since cast aside his fear of death.
Logos broke free from the blood wave, looking disheveled with a trace of blood at the corner of his mouth. He swung his hand and threw a bone pen that transformed into a golden arrow, aiming straight for the Blood Demon Lord's heart.
After doing all this, he was once again swallowed up by the towering blood wave.
Amiya gritted her teeth, the black magical fluctuations around her almost completely obscuring her body, and the Shadow Blade in her hand hummed as it sensed its master's will.
Even so, Amiya was still devastated to find that Shadow Sky, which she had slashed at the Blood Demon Lord's shoulder, could not advance an inch.
"Hehehe, young demon king, you did a good job, you all did a good job."
Half of the Blood Demon Lord's body was swallowed by the mud, and his heart and body were pierced by chains and arrows, yet his aura showed no signs of weakening.
Under Amiya's horrified gaze, the Blood Demon Lord slowly raised his head.
He raised his mutilated hand, and several drops of blood flew from afar, merging into his body.
"This is... the blood of mudstone and Logos!"
Amiya's expression changed.
"The purest banshees, children of earth and stone who embody the power of the earth and the aura of Qi Yan, your power is astonishing."
The Blood Demon Lord laughed wildly: "You have done well. Regardless of your stance, at least I can understand your pursuit, and I acknowledge the home you have found for the Sarkaz."
But unfortunately, this is not where I belong!
Demon King of the alien race, I stand before you. Let me see your resolve, let me see your soul, let me see if you can support the future of the Sarkaz, and this land!
"King! Face me!"
An even more violent power erupted from the Blood Demon Lord's body as he slammed his severed hand into the Shadow Sky Sword with all his might.
The immense force caused Amiya to lose control of Shadow Sky, and as she staggered, Shadow Sky flew out of her grasp.
The Blood Demon Lord struggled to break free from the earth's constraints and his fate, opening his arms to embrace Amiya's petite body.
Endless blood gushed from the Blood Demon Lord's body, forming a cage in an attempt to imprison Amiya.
A strong sense of crisis washed over Amiya, but she forcibly stopped herself from retreating. She raised her small hand, and the ring on her finger flashed brightly.
The crisp sound of shattering echoed across the battlefield.
"I don't agree with your destiny!"
Amiya gave a low shout, and black magic condensed, instantly transforming into a beam of light that pierced through the Blood Demon Lord, shattering the blood cage behind him that had not yet closed.
"...this power..."
The Blood Demon Lord halted his advance.
He vaguely sensed a familiar aura within this complex power.
That was his blood relative, his brother.
The feeling was exactly the same as when his elder brother fell into his arms and his life was ended by his own hand.
“Brother…you haven’t changed, you’re still the same…coward.”
A bitter smile appeared on the Blood Demon Lord's lips, but it was quickly swallowed up by the obsession that erupted in his heart: "I am the master of the Blood Court, and I will lead the Sarkaz to reclaim their glory!"
His steps moved forward again.
Amiya gritted her teeth, continuing to gather magic in her palm.
This time, however, the Blood Demon Lord didn't give her a chance. The scattered blood surged back, forming a cage that locked Amiya in place, before the Blood Demon Lord slapped her away.
After clearing away all obstacles in his path, the Blood Lord dragged his broken body, staggering but determined, toward Windermere, who was also exhausted.
After Kal'tsit injected herself with a painkiller, she gritted her teeth and tried to get M3, who was working hard to reconstruct its body, moving again.
A hand gently rested on Kal'tsit's shoulder.
The Doctor silently stopped Kal'tsit's actions without saying a word.
"Doctor, what exactly are you doing?" Kal'tsit asked.
The doctor said softly, "You and I are both variables, but we have done everything we can. In the end, the only one who can change her fate is herself, who is trapped in it."
In the instant the two were speaking, Windermere had no intention of running away. He resolutely faced the enemy, brandishing his sword and engaging the Blood Lord in close combat.
The two one-eyed lords engage in their final battle amidst the natural disaster.
Two men facing death engage in a final struggle for their respective ideals.
Ignoring the blade piercing his mangled body, the Blood Lord's arm plunged deep into Windermere's chest.
This battle will bring Victoria both internal and external troubles, and is crucial for Sarkaz's journey home.
He's had enough of the name Sarkaz.
He longed for the era known as Tikkaz to return.
Windermere let her chest be pierced, knowing that in her current physical condition she could not contend with a king who was determined to die.
What she needs to do is find a key.
The sharp blade swept across the Blood Demon's body, blood spilling from Windermere's mouth and nose. She used her last bit of strength to swing her sword.
A drop of the purest blood was pierced by the tip of the blade and left the Blood Demon Lord's body.
Sensing the Blood Demon Lord's aura irresistibly weakening, Windermere managed a weak smile.
This battle was a great victory for Victoria!
Chapter 729 The Shapeshifters Arrive
When the blood of Tikkaz leaves the Blood Lord's body, he is irreversibly headed for his demise.
The black magic severed the blood cage, and Amiya broke free. Mudrock swung his hammer in a wide arc, sweeping away the lifeless blood worms beside him.
The two men's expressions darkened when they saw that the battle between the Blood Lord and Windermere had come to an end.
On the other side, Logos struggled to break free from the blood wave, his face also looking rather grim. He waved his hand to summon the bone pen he had thrown, which transformed into several chains that bound together the blood of Tikkaz and the Blood Demon Lord.
He then pulled hard, flinging the Blood Demon Lord's mangled body away and sending it crashing into a crater left by a lightning strike.
The Blood Demon Lord did not resist, letting himself fall heavily to the ground, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth once more.
His gaze swept across the battlefield.
Behind them, the Duke of Caesar's fleet was poised to set sail. Although Logos and his men were in a sorry state, they still had the strength to continue fighting. Further away, the scattered Victorian soldiers were rushing back with the weapons they had scoured.
Further away, towards Silverstone Cliff, the Blood Lord saw Victoria's steel torrent instead of the rendezvous Manfred had promised, and he was not surprised at all.
I also felt no anger whatsoever.
“Manfred, you have guts, but I can’t admit you have enough guts.”
The Blood Demon Lord murmured softly, his eyes already showing signs of impending death: "Only by making decisive choices can you achieve the future of Sarkaz. If you cannot bear to see your mentor leave now, how will you cope when you take charge of Sarkaz in the future and face even more separations?"
Without a royal court, without true strength, how can you withstand all races?
As he muttered to himself, the Blood Demon Lord's gaze fell upon the drop of blood sealed in the palm of Logos.
His mangled hand rose again.
A maniacal smile returned to the Blood Demon Lord's face.
"I can die, but the future of the Sarkaz cannot!"
The blood of Tikkaz sensed the call of its master and trembled wildly in Logos's palm, causing Logos's expression to change slightly.
The Blood Demon Lord's already pale face turned even more ashen, and the blood in his body boiled continuously, as if on fire.
He will ignite his own soul, ignite his own life, and transform it into the final power to send away the blood of Tikkaz!
Logos noticed that the drop of blood in his palm was trembling more violently, and seemed to be tearing through the void and escaping. He quickly drew more runes to try to resist it.
Mudrock and Amiya also sensed something was wrong.
Amiya rushed to Logos and joined him in the final struggle against the Blood Lord.
Mudstone gripped the hammer tightly, his eyes filled with determination, and raised it high before smashing it down on the Blood Demon Lord.
As the hammer fell, the Blood Demon Lord raised his other arm to try and block it, but it was easily broken.
The hammer struck the Blood Demon Lord's chest with irresistible force, but only a small amount of blood splattered.
"You should aim for my head..."
The Blood Demon Lord, who had burned away most of his blood, revealed a victorious smile.
Mudrock had a bad feeling. He turned around and saw Tikaz Blood break free from Logos's restraints and transform into a red meteor, disappearing into the void.
The three fell silent, looking at the Blood Demon Lord whose life force was irreversibly fading away.
Amiya and her companions felt regret for not being able to preserve the blood of the Sarkaz, but they couldn't feel any resentment towards the Sarkaz lord who was going to his death.
The two sides' ideas and positions are destined to be incompatible; the Blood Demon Lord is simply fulfilling his own beliefs.
Logos slowly walked up to the Blood Demon Lord and took out an exquisite bone whistle.
The royal court, under the death knell, decided to deliver a final lament to those facing death.
The Blood Demon Lord's dim, single eye silently watched the young man before him.
The bone whistle gently landed on the succubus's blood-stained lips.
But instead of the mournful tolling of the bell, a sound of wings flapping in the air descended from above.
Green birds arrived on the battlefield.
After a brief moment of surprise, Logos, Amiya, and the others immediately realized who this bird was who could appear in such a place.
The bird landed and transformed back into its original shape as a shapeshifter.
Everyone once again showed wary expressions, watching the shapeshifter with tension.
"Please don't make a move. We're here to choose our roles." The shapeshifter smiled, his gaze sweeping across the room. "A healer who saves lives might be a good fit for us right now."
His clothes gradually changed, eventually becoming the uniform of a Rhodes Island medical operator.
Amidst the bewildered gazes of everyone, the shapeshifter approached Kal'tsit and stared at the dying Windermir in her arms.
The wound on his chest had stopped bleeding, and his heart, which should have been a symbol of the source of life, had long been crushed by the Blood Demon Lord.
Even Kal'tsit couldn't save Windermir from such injuries on the battlefield.
