Shaking her head, Outcast lost her mood for singing and strolling around. She turned around and prepared to sneak off to the bar for a few drinks while no one on Rhodes Island could keep an eye on her.

She had just reached the bar's closed door when, before she could even pry it open, her communicator on her waist went off.

"Huh? We've been discovered?"

Outcast was somewhat surprised and picked up the communicator to answer the call.

A slightly nervous young girl's voice came through the communicator: "Madam, Rhodes Island has been invaded. The intruder is very stealthy. If it weren't for Ms. Saria's upgraded defense system, we wouldn't have been able to detect it."

According to the system's assessment, the opponent is suspected to be the one who followed the Doctor from Iberia. They are very strong; we are no match for them.

Outcast's eyes lit up; after being idle for so long, she finally had her chance to show off her skills!

"Leave it to me, and report the enemy's coordinates immediately!"

"The other party is moving very fast and is approaching the intensive care unit of the medical department!"

Upon hearing this news, Outcast's expression turned serious, and he immediately turned and set off.

The little girl's reports continued incessantly through the communicator.

"The intruders have reached the ICU entrance... and are heading towards Ghost Shark's room!"

"The intruders seem to have realized they've been exposed, and they've increased their speed again!"

"Oh no! The intruders have found Ghost Shark!"

Outcast gritted his teeth, suddenly raised his hand, drew his gun, aimed it at the ceiling above his head, and pulled the trigger.

With a deafening roar, she smashed through the floor, cleanly flipped herself onto the medical department floor, and rushed towards the intensive care unit where Ghost Shark was.

The little girl exclaimed in alarm over the communicator: "A wall has been damaged..."

"I did it."

"No, I mean the walls of the intensive care unit have been breached, and the intruders are trying to escape with Ghost Shark!"

Outcast slammed the door of the intensive care unit open with her shoulder, and the wind blowing in from outside the ship brushed against her face.

Before the breached wall of Rhodes Island, a tall woman with white hair and red eyes held a sleeping Specter Shark in her arms, her gaze icy as she stared at the approaching Outcast.

With just one glance, Outcast was alarmed, realizing that this woman's strength was absolutely terrifying.

Release our agents.

Outcast pointed his gun at the woman.

But she was met with the woman's cold gaze and her unwavering decision to jump out.

Outcast decisively pulled the trigger, but the flames from the gun were not even half as fast as the woman, and in the blink of an eye, the woman disappeared into the gap.

Upon seeing this, Outcast immediately rushed out, ignoring the little girl's warning in the communicator, and relentlessly chased after the woman.

The two figures flew past one after the other across the desolate sands outside Rhodes Island, disappearing from sight in a few breaths.

Chapter 802: Old Age Passion

Two Rhodes Island logistics operators stood silently side by side at the gap in the wall of Specter's room, lost in thought.

The wind, carrying sand and gravel, brushed against their faces, bringing a slight gritty sensation and the unique dryness of the desert.

One of the girls looked at the young man beside her and said blankly:

"Ms. Outcast just went after her like that? Isn't she afraid of the danger?"

"Trust her!" the young man said firmly.

"No... I mean, after she leaves, we'll be in danger without anyone to protect us." The little girl was on the verge of tears. "She's the last survivor on our island. Who will save me when I'm chased and bitten by sandworms?"

The young man immediately patted his chest loudly.

The little girl looked at her with suspicion: "Are you going to sacrifice yourself to feed the sandworms to save me? With your thin arms and legs, you probably can't even feed them until they're seven-tenths full."

Young man: "..."

Just as the young man, his competitive spirit ignited, was about to perform push-ups on the ground, a travel-worn figure appeared at the gap.

“Ms. Outcast, you’re back!” the little girl exclaimed with delight. “Did you catch the intruder?”

"We caught up with them..."

Outcast spat out the sand in her mouth, and before the two logistics operators could even show a hint of joy, she continued:

"But I didn't fight her. I was kicked away by that intruder. She was very fast. I only had time to see the pattern on the sole of her shoe. Hmm, very exquisite. She was a classy enemy."

Two logistics officers: "..."

“When Xiao Qiyan comes back, remember to tell him…” Outcast strode past the two of them and headed toward the Rhodes Island garage. “The intruder said she was going to take Specter to Iberia and that she would save Specter’s condition.”

The truth of this matter is still unknown. I will continue to pursue her; even if I cannot stop her, I can still follow behind her.

"This is too dangerous!"

Two logistics officers immediately spoke up to stop them.

Unfortunately, Outcast didn't stop at all and quickly left the two behind.

From a distance, Outcast casually waved his arm:

"This danger is nothing compared to what I've encountered before. Don't underestimate me just because I'm about to retire."

The little girl called out urgently, but she couldn't stop Outcast from leaving.

When the two arrived at the garage, panting, they saw Outcast not even wait for the ship's elevator hatch to fully close before stepping on the gas and sending the SUV soaring into the distance, billowing exhaust smoke as it sped away amidst the swirling yellow sand.

The little girl scratched her head in frustration and urged the young man beside her:

"Quickly find a way to contact Dr. Kal'tsit and the Doctor, and tell them that Ms. Outcast set herself a big goal before going on her mission!"

"I'm going to find the intelligence officer on the island right now!"

Londinium.

Manfred stood on the street leading to the Shard, looking up at the red Originium that had returned to the sky.

He wasn't sure what kind of confrontation had taken place between the red stone and Qi Yan, but in the end, it was clear that Qi Yan had the upper hand.

“Then, when Qi Yan and Rhodes Island reappear in this city-state, the dust will settle,” Manfred said softly.

Ducarre leaned against the wall not far from Manfred, gracefully turning the pages of a medical book in his hands.

"Are you flustered?" Ducarre asked calmly.

"Shouldn't I be panicking?" Manfred countered.

"You are the future leader of the Sarkaz."

"At least not now. I am just an ordinary person who has made a choice and is waiting for the most important person in my life to come to an end."

Manfred took a slight breath.

The gloomy weather in Londinium made the air pressure a bit low and stuffy, but compared to the dusty air in Kazdel, it was a rare find of good quality air.

Unfortunately, Manfred was not in the mood to enjoy any of this at the moment.

He looked at the Shard, seemingly wanting to confide in someone, and his mouth never stopped talking:

"The teacher was taken into the Shard by that Sakta a long time ago, why is there still no news?"

Ducarre's lips curled into a slight smile:

"Theresis may have been secretly executed. After all, he was a Sarkaz. It wouldn't be surprising if he did something to the Sarkaz."

Manfred: "..."

Seeing that Manfred wasn't going to take his joke seriously, Ducarre shrugged and continued:

Instead of wasting your time worrying here, I suggest you think about Sarkaz's next situation.

“I understand your meaning,” Manfred nodded. “Once things are settled with the teacher, I will immediately announce the Sarkaz’s defeat and lead the rest of the Sarkaz to retreat while the King of Carrion blocks Victoria.”

Ducarre mocked, "You really are thorough, squeezing every last drop of value from the royal court."

Manfred did not refute, knowing that everything he had done would leave him with endless infamy.

But he understood one thing even more clearly: the Sarkaz were no longer the powerful race that once inspired fear in all races.

The Sarkaz are now targeted by all races. Besides the deeply ingrained evil image of the Sarkaz in the minds of others, they are more like meat on a chopping block, allowing others to find some excuses to cut off their own interests and pocket them.

"When the souls depart, when the royal court departs, when the Sarkaz of Lontinim, who have experienced everything, return to Kazdel, the Sarkaz will truly open their eyes, which have been blinded by the past."

Manfred looked up at the sky and sighed: "While the Sarkaz hesitated in place, the myriad races that we once trampled underfoot had already left the Sarkaz far behind."

Victoria's warships can pierce through natural disasters, Victoria's cannons can destroy airships, and Victoria's army can chase the King of the Royal Court so fiercely that he has to flee in disarray..."

"Is this never going to end?" Ducarre snorted in dissatisfaction.

His interruption failed to stop Manfred from speaking.

Manfred stubbornly continued to state his opinion:

"If the teacher and His Highness can give up everything for the sake of all souls, then what does it matter if I suffer these infamy for the sake of the royal court's departure?"

"Ha, at least he's starting to resemble Theresis." Ducarre closed the book in his hand.

He dusted off his clothes and slowly walked to Manfred's side, where they gazed together at the red Originium in the sky.

“After all you’ve said, have you forgotten something?” Ducarre reminded him, “The Sarkaz are trapped in the heart of Victoria. The surrounding countries may seem to be holding each other back, but in reality, they have formed an encirclement. The Sarkaz have no chance of escaping.”

"Your Highness and your teacher have already prepared the way home for Sarkaz."

"You mean 'Spine of Life'?" Ducarre smirked. "I regret to inform you that, as someone who once killed His physical body, I can clearly sense that His soul has already been destroyed by Qi Yan."

Manfred was suddenly stunned.

He looked at Ducarre in disbelief, trying to see a hint of mockery in the other's eyes.

Unfortunately, Ducarre only showed regret in his eyes, without a trace of joking or mockery.

Manfred took a deep breath, exhaled, inhaled again, and exhaled again.

"No, I, such a great god, suddenly died?!"

Chapter 803 Ascension to God

If it weren't for the difference in their status and strength, Manfred would have already grabbed Ducarre by the collar and shaken him violently.

Ducarre held the book in his arms, one arm around his chest, while the other hand gently stroked his fair chin.

He seemed to really enjoy seeing Manfred look so embarrassed.

While watching the show, Ducarre didn't forget to add fuel to the fire in Manfred's heart:

"Actually, I have a plan."

Manfred: ?

“Anyway, we’re taking the Sarkaz back to Kazdel. Qi Yan’s Kazdel Retirement Home is still Kazdel,” Ducarre said with a smile.

"Hiss... Please allow me to refuse!"

Manfred took a deep breath to calm himself down: "I can accept individual Sarkaz going to a nursing home, but this group of Sarkaz who experienced the Victoria War are a very important spark in Kazdel."

I have to keep some of them and take them back to Kazdel, the one without the nursing home suffix!

“I see. Then I’m afraid I can’t help you.” Ducarre said with a smile of ’regret’. “However, you may not be able to take the Sarkaz that came back from Brentwood Town with you.”

"why?"

Ducarre's smile faded slightly, and he averted his gaze to avoid making eye contact with Manfred.

"Their condition is somewhat poor, which may be a side effect of the long-distance transfer of temporal authority."

I'm having that junior officer nicknamed "Shovel" organize a team; they'll be packing all their belongings soon and heading to a nursing home in hopes of survival.

"Are you sure it's a side effect?" Manfred asked through gritted teeth.

"Are you questioning me?"

Ducarre began to loosen his wrists, warming up for the fight.

Manfred: "..."
