Eriri had drawn and seen this action many times, but when she tried it herself, the shame almost overwhelmed her.

“Good, very conscientious.” Seiji Fujiwara nodded in satisfaction. “I’ve already prepared the names for the next five chapters; they’re on my desk.”

Hearing this, Eriri felt both delighted and speechless.

To everyone's delight, Yamada Aki's editor can finally deliver on her promise, and Anohana can continue its serialization.

Speechless, this bastard was indeed prepared all along, just waiting for her to come to him! He really thought he had her completely under his thumb!

Seiji Fujiwara keenly noticed her fleeting emotion and raised an eyebrow, asking, "What's wrong? Are you dissatisfied?"

"N-no!" Eriri forced a stiff smile.

The girl then bowed her head and began to serve him attentively.

"very good."

As he praised it, Seiji Fujiwara picked up the remote control and pressed the start button.

……

……

The next day at noon, Eriri, dragging her aching back and yawning, faxed the Name that Fujiwara Seiji had drawn to Yamada Aki.

After seeing it, Yamada Aki's face instantly broke into a bright smile.

"This is it! This is the feeling!" She excitedly slapped the table, attracting the attention of her colleagues around her.

She didn't care and immediately called Eriri.

"Ms. Izumi! I received Name!" Yamada Aki's voice was filled with the joy of finding something she had lost. "As expected of the original author, this level of skill and emotional tension is simply perfect! There's nothing that needs to be changed! Thank you for your hard work!"

"Haha, it's no trouble at all..." Eriri replied with a dry laugh as she listened to the phone call.

She worked so hard last night to prepare for these five episodes of Name!

Moreover, the thought of having to continue this kind of "hard work" in the future makes her feel that the world is so dark. Why does drawing a comic have to take such a heavy burden?

"By the way, Ms. Izumi."

After offering her usual praise, Yamada Aki suddenly changed the subject and made a request that Eriri hadn't expected, "Although the problem has been solved, I'm still a little worried... May I ask if I can make a phone call to your partner, the author of the original story?"

"Huh? Why?" Eriri was startled and asked instinctively.

“That’s right,” Yamada Aki explained. “As the editor, I feel it’s necessary to understand the authors under my supervision and confirm their situations so that I can be more at ease taking charge of the follow-up work.”

Her tone was very sincere, full of the responsibility of a professional editor.

"Don't worry, Ms. Yamada, there's no problem anymore!" Eriri immediately patted her flat chest confidently, her voice rising a few decibels. "I promise, this kind of problem won't happen again!"

She practically sold herself out last night, how could there still be a problem!

Thinking of this, Eriri felt incredibly sad again, and her newly risen confidence instantly vanished.

“But I’m still a little worried.” Yamada Aki’s tone was firm. “Izumi-sensei, please, I have to talk to him, just to satisfy my curiosity!”

“But he doesn’t really like interacting with the outside world…” Eriri remembered that Seiji Fujiwara had said he didn’t want to reveal his identity, and hesitated, wanting to refuse, her tone softening.

"Then I'll have to ask Ms. Izumi to persuade him!"

Yamada Aya's tone turned serious, even tinged with a hint of authority, "Izumi-sensei, I'll give you three days. If I can't get in touch with the original author after three days, then I'll have no choice but to travel from Tokyo to Kyoto and pay him a personal visit!"

I thought there was something wrong with the group, it really scared her to death.

I haven't slept well for several days.

beep...beep...beep...

The call was hung up cleanly.

Eriri listened to the busy tone on the receiver, stunned for several seconds before she came to her senses: "Huh, why did it hang up!?"

She immediately sensed something was wrong and rushed out of the studio to find Seiji Fujiwara.

Seiji Fujiwara was sitting on the sofa in the living room, ordering lunch delivery on his phone.

"Oh no! Seiji! Something terrible has happened!" Eriri rushed to him and repeated Yamada Aki's request.

"Oh, you want to talk to me, right..."

Seiji Fujiwara didn't even raise an eyebrow, calmly selecting his lunch.

“Yes, yes, so please…” Eriri nodded vigorously, her eyes shining.

“I’m a very fair person,” Fujiwara Seiji interrupted her, saying slowly, “I have a clear price list and I’m honest with everyone, young and old.”

Hear the words.

Eriri immediately gave her a look of disdain.

That bastard is at it again!

"What are you trying to do now?" She took a half step back warily, crossing her arms in front of her chest, adopting a defensive posture.

"It's nothing." Seiji Fujiwara looked at Eriri with a nostalgic smile on his face. "It's just that recently, I've suddenly been missing the early works of 'Eri Kashiwagi' and I hope you can help me 'remember' them."

"Memories?" Eriri asked, tilting her head in confusion. "My early works, the original drafts are all kept in my studio. You can look at them anytime you want."

“No,” Seiji Fujiwara shook his head, his eyes becoming playful. “I want to ask Ms. Eri Kashiwagi to help me ‘remember’. For example… my debut work, which was called ‘The Night of the Girl Who Was Broken In by a Thief’.”

He deliberately emphasized the pronunciation of the words "personally" and "remember".

Eriri's face flushed red instantly.

Of course she remembered her debut book!

The plot is simple: a young girl living alone has her room broken into by a thief late at night. Afraid of being hurt, she dares not make a sound and can only close her eyes tightly, pretending to be asleep. Unexpectedly, the thief, seeing the girl's beautiful face and the slender figure outlined by the blanket, harbors malicious intentions.

Throughout the ordeal, the thief noticed the girl was fast asleep and became increasingly brazen in his actions; the girl, fearing she would be discovered for pretending to be asleep, could only endure the strange sensations and allow the thief to do as he pleased…

The core appeal of that book lies in the girl's sense of forbearance and humiliation as she "is clearly awake but can only pretend to be asleep" and "her body is violated but she dares not resist".

And now, that bastard Seiji Fujiwara actually wants her to play that patient girl!

Eriri's brain buzzed, and her whole body felt hot.

Shame, absurdity, and a slight, inappropriate excitement welled up from the bottom of her heart.

"What...what kind of things are in your head! Pervert! Vulgar!" Eriri blushed, her eyes widened, and she shouted fiercely.

But the voice was soft and weak, lacking any intimidation; it sounded more like a kitten patting someone with its paws.

Seiji Fujiwara leaned back on the sofa with a nonchalant air and asked leisurely, "So, what's the answer? Is it yes or no?"

Eriri's cursing stopped abruptly.

Looking at Seiji Fujiwara's confident and relaxed demeanor, she felt a surge of anger.

Damn it, that bastard got me all smitten again!

The girl turned her head to the side and answered in a voice barely audible:

"……understood."

Anyway, I played a similar role-playing game last night, and it was the master and maid roles, which were quite embarrassing.

This time, it's not unacceptable that it's a thief and a girl pretending to be asleep.

"Yay!" Seiji Fujiwara's smile instantly became incredibly bright: "I'm really looking forward to tonight's 'script,' Ms. Eri Kashiwagi."

She deliberately called out Eriri's pen name.

The address "Eri Kashiwagi-sensei" was like a feather, gently brushing against Eriri's heart, giving her goosebumps all over her body.

"Shut up!" Eriri glared at him fiercely.

……

Eriri didn't enjoy her lunch at all.

Meanwhile, Seiji Fujiwara was in high spirits and had an exceptionally good appetite. He ate leisurely while admiring Eriri's adorable, restless, and embarrassed expression.

After finishing lunch, Eriri took her phone and handed it to Seiji Fujiwara.

"Call Ms. Yamada...you promised me."

"Don't worry, I won't break my promise."

Seiji Fujiwara took the phone and, in front of her, dialed Aki Yamada's number.

The moment the call connected, his entire demeanor changed.

His previous lazy demeanor disappeared, replaced by a calm, professional, and somewhat aloof reliable aura.

beep...beep...

The call is connected.

Before the other end could speak, Seiji Fujiwara spoke first.

"Hello, is this Editor Yamada? I'm the writer in charge of story and storyboards for the 'Izumi Ei' group." His voice was deliberately lowered, sounding more composed and magnetic than usual.

“Ms. Yamada, this guy is the original author of the story,” Eriri confirmed from the side.

On the other end of the phone.

Yamada Aki was taken aback for a moment, then immediately reacted and excitedly said, "Ah! You...you are another teacher?! Hello, hello! I'm editor Yamada Aki!"

"Yes, hello." Fujiwara Seiji's tone was unhurried. "I heard from Izumi-sensei that you had some concerns?"

"Ah, yes, I'm so sorry, I was overthinking it!" Yamada Aki quickly explained, "It's just that this time the name is so different from the previous style, I was a little..."

“I understand.” Seiji Fujiwara interrupted her, speaking in a convincing tone, “That was just a personal experiment for Ms. Izumi. She wanted to challenge her weakness, and I personally support her. But please rest assured, our group is very stable and there are no problems. I will still take the lead in the subsequent creation to ensure the quality of Anohana. You can completely trust us on that.”

"Is...is that so! That's wonderful!" Yamada Aki breathed a sigh of relief, her tone becoming admiring. "Teacher, you're amazing! I understand! I'll never doubt your collaboration with Izumi-sensei again!"

"That's good." Seiji Fujiwara replied casually.

“Oh, right, teacher…” Yamada Aki suddenly said, “I don’t know if it’s just my imagination, but I feel like I’ve heard your voice somewhere before, it’s very familiar…”

Eriri's heart jumped into her throat.

Seiji Fujiwara remained calm and chuckled lightly, "Is that so? My voice is quite common. Perhaps Ms. Yamada has heard a similar voice before? Well then, if there's nothing else, I'll hang up now. We still need to discuss the next part of the plot."

"Ah! Okay, okay! I won't bother you any longer! Goodbye, teacher!" Ms. Yamada said quickly.

After hanging up the phone, Seiji Fujiwara returned the phone to Eriri.

Chapter 72 Completely Wins Over Eriri, the System's Final Reward! (2/2)

"All done." He winked at Eriri, who was still in shock. "Well then, as a reward, don't disappoint me with tonight's 'memories.'"

"I...I understand!" Eriri replied, blushing.

……

……

Meanwhile, in the editorial department of Shinazugawa Bunko, Yamada Aki finally felt completely relieved after hanging up the phone.

But she couldn't help but rest her chin on her hand and mutter to herself, "That voice... it sounds so familiar... who could it be..."

She racked her brains for a long time, but still couldn't come up with a solution.

In the end, he could only dismiss it as his own imagination, shook his head, and threw himself back into his work.

……

in the afternoon.

Eriri stayed in the art studio as always.

This time, however, what was laid out in front of her was not the original manuscript of "Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day," but her debut doujinshi from many years ago—"The Girl's Night When a Thief Broke In."

Because I'll be playing a role in the movie that night, I need to familiarize myself with the script beforehand.

"Wow, this is actually one of my paintings?"

"It's still her debut work!"
