"As expected, I'm still not as skilled at this kind of entrance as a certain clown." However, half a minute later, Marek unzipped a zipper on the shattered wall in the distance and reappeared in front of Beatrix.

Marek smiled, seemingly unperturbed by Betley's earlier actions.

He blew on the muzzle of his gun and gave Betley a deep look.

He had been serious about killing Betley with a single shot, but now it seemed he had been overthinking it.

As expected of someone in a "false god" state, even a mid-to-upper-level silver-tier character would probably be no match for Betley.

With such power, it seems not impossible for Beatrix to single-handedly prevent the world from collapsing.

For a Black Iron-type body to reach such a level is simply unbelievable.

They did not change their own existence, but only reached this level by "cheating" in front of God, or even pretending to be God.

He is a human, but also a false god.

"Is this the girl you brought here to disgust me? You're so naive." Betley mocked Marek mercilessly.

He knew about Marek's relationship with Jonathan, so his displeasure with Jonathan was naturally directed at Marek as well.

“Don’t say that, Mr. Betley. I found this girl by chance; she’s quite precious.” Marek’s nonchalant demeanor made it impossible to discern his true feelings.

Is it just bluffing? Or is there genuine fearlessness?

"To be honest, I thought you had the compassion that everyone should have, so with this girl, who knows, we might see some interesting stories."

"For example, he lost his vigilance towards the girl and was inexplicably stabbed in a vital spot."

"For example, in order to protect this girl, he took a fatal attack."

"What a pity, Mr. Betley, I didn't expect you to be so heartless." Marek shrugged and shook his head, indicating that this melodramatic script should have been a success, but the actors simply wouldn't cooperate.

"In that case, wouldn't all the children I've been so lucky to meet be completely useless?" Marek said, then sighed again.

"The Mathematical Society moved here, Night Frost came here, and the girl appeared here—all for the sake of a drama."

"Of course, if the actor isn't you, the script will be changed."

“It’s not me, it’s Blakeras, right?” Betley revealed the identity of the other actor that Marek was referring to.

Betley really disliked Marek's idea that everyone should be an actor.

"That's right, as expected of a man who reached the 'false god' level through his own efforts, his thinking is indeed insightful." Marek did not hold back his applause and praise.

“Then you should feel really unlucky now, because I’m not as easy to get along with as Bray or Claes,” Beatrix grinned maliciously.

In an instant, a single point, Marek's feet were swallowed by a disgusting shadow.

Blood-red eyes peered intently from the shadows, seemingly fascinated by everything around them.

"You can take this girl and go," Betley said casually, waving to Afrena.

"This girl?"

“The memory has been completely erased,” Beatrix said, having already dealt with the girl while Marek was rambling on.

By not killing the girl and even letting the fallen angel take her away, Betley showed his last act of kindness.

If it were a normal cult member, Betley would have stewed her several times over by now.

"Come back to me when you're done," Afrena said to Betley as she turned to leave.

"I know, but if you don't leave now, you'll be in trouble." Betley couldn't guarantee what kind of damage a fight with Marek would cause.

The abilities of Marek and Jonathan have always been a mystery.

Judging from their appearance, one can roughly guess their level, but if you think about it carefully, with that kind of strength, it's impossible for those two unconventional guys to have survived until now.

We can only guess at their strength as high as possible; we must never underestimate them, or we will be the ones who die.

"Bang!" A gunshot rang out, and the shadow was absorbed by a bullet and vanished without a trace.

After picking up the bullet from the ground, Marek casually bit the bullet tip.

"You did so much while I was speaking; you're quite different from most people." Language is a means of maneuvering; people often can't help but stop when someone reveals important information in order to hear more.

“Because I know everything you said and didn’t say.” Before Marek could react, Betley stepped on the moonlight and appeared in front of Marek.

Betley didn't even have the desire to ask Marek why he knew what his sister looked like.

Intelligence networks are terrifying; as long as there are clues to follow, theoretically anything can be investigated to the end.

Unless you completely hide it, even a small trace is enough for others to find out your true nature.

"I'd rather beat you to a pulp than listen to your nonsense." Before the words were even finished, a fist was already upon him.

Just how fast is that? Within half a second? Within 0.1 seconds? Or even more exaggerated?

Of course, many people feel that they need to go faster and faster, but in reality, going any faster is pointless.

After all, the other party also couldn't react in time.

If it can be measured numerically, then the word "god" is meaningless.

No, it is precisely because it has been quantified that we can more intuitively understand the vast gap between humans and gods.

A 100-meter dash time of three seconds, compared to a two-second or one-second dash, represents an enormous difference in reality.

Every point of difference thereafter represents a new dimension.

Okay, enough of this nonsense. In essence, it can be summarized in one sentence: all of Beattie's performances are enough to call him a "false god".

"BOOM!!!!!" A deafening roar shook the heavens and earth as Marek was shattered to pieces.

But the next second, Marek walked leisurely behind Betley.

His face was deathly pale, indicating that he had just been injured.

However, the fact that he could remain calm and composed in his words and actions also shows that his strength is unfathomable.

Betley didn't hold back at all in that attack just now.

"I see. I have no interest at all, so no matter how much I say, it won't do any good in trying to negotiate, right?"

As Marek spoke, he fired a bullet near the back of the man's head.

"Clang!" The bullet made a crisp sound as if it had hit steel before bouncing away.

But that doesn't matter, because this is a "concept missile".

"Tsk..." Betley turned around and kicked Marek behind him.

This time, however, Marek dodged it because Betley was much slower. Although the "Concept Bullet" wasn't 100% effective, even one percent of its power was enough.

There are, frankly, quite a few concepts that can achieve the effect of slowing down the target's movement.

But what exactly that concept meant was not important to Marek.

Since this is just a one-time consumable, just a bullet, it's pointless to waste too much energy on a single bullet.

The bullets were enough to achieve his desired result.

However, using a conceptual missile to slow down someone is indeed a rather extravagant approach.

If it were someone else, they would probably just honestly use magic or something similar to slow down Betley's speed.

Of course, it's unclear whether it's effective or not; if we were to delve deeper, it's highly likely to be ineffective.

“Using this concept like this will make anyone who’s always wanted to experience this kind of power cry,” Beatrix said, shaking his empty fist.

"Really? Isn't using concept missiles too extravagant?"

“I’m sorry, I’ve really never thought about that before.” Marek nodded thoughtfully, seemingly genuinely considering Beatley’s words.

“Then we won’t have to think about it anymore,” Beatrix said with a smile.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a smile that moved people's hearts; it was a smile that chilled them to the bone—a sinister smile.

As soon as Betley finished speaking, everything around him began to be vertically crushed.

At the very end of the destruction was where Marek was standing.

Marek smiled expectantly, the purple lotus in his pupils radiating madness.

“It seems the script is finally on track.” Marek’s deep eyes pierced through the wrecked ruins and looked directly at Beatrix.

An extremely complex and loud noise came from the hall.

It wasn't just a loud rumbling sound, nor was it just a crackling or popping sound.

The sound spread outwards, and could be clearly heard in every corner of the vast maze in front of the hall, where one could feel the terrifying destructive power behind the loud noise.

"Boom—" The deafening roar was beyond description and could only be described by these few onomatopoeic words.

At least the sound that reached Bray's ears was indeed a booming sound.

Bray covered his ears expressionlessly, not only unfazed by the shocking sound, but also somewhat annoyed.

"That's the kind of sound a bridge would make if it collapsed." Although he was still complaining, Eric subconsciously became alert.

Could it be that guy who destroyed the maze earlier is causing trouble somewhere else again? If that's the case, Eric really should thank that wild fellow.

We should thank everyone, regardless of whether they are human or not.

"Colonel, it's time to give the superiors the instructions they should give." Alice drew her gun before Eric did and leaned against his back to survey the surroundings.

“Relax, Captain, the sound is coming from far away.” Eric pressed Alice’s hand down.

"You're putting yourself on too much of a nerve."

Vigilance and tension are necessary, but the premise is appropriateness.

Eric was certain there were other people around, so he didn't want Captain Alice to be taken advantage of because she was too tense.

Who are these people? Are they enemies or friends? These are questions that need to be carefully considered.

"Blind man, what's your opinion?" Eric shouted at one of the experts.

“I don’t have any particular thoughts, but someone has already arrived,” Bray said calmly, lowering his hands from his ears.

Bray said someone was there, but he didn't even raise an eyebrow as he spoke, as if it were perfectly normal for someone to suddenly appear.

"Squeak—" A metal zipper appeared out of thin air, the zipper seemingly ready to spring open.

Something is on the other end, trying to unzip the zipper.

Bray took a step, stretched out his left hand, and managed to pull the zipper back up, so that the other end of the zipper was not even visible.

Adhering to the principle of "when in doubt, use a sword," Bray casually chopped off the closed zipper.

Even Eric and Alice were amazed by Bray's smooth and effortless maneuvering.

So this is the correct way to handle a zipper that appears out of nowhere?

"How strange, is it that I'm not doing this right?" While Eric was deep in thought, and under Bray's expressionless gaze, the masked man in a tuxedo muttered to himself in a puzzled tone.

"Marek's entrance at least showed some skill, but how come the little guy's zipper was cut off before he even opened it?"

"Something's definitely not right." Even now, this clown, who never wears clown makeup, is still agonizing over his failed entrance.

Alice frowned, staring at the unfamiliar man, contemplating whether to fire a warning shot.

But Eric raised his hand and stopped Alice.

Both Bray and Eric knew this guy.

"Blind man, do you know this lunatic?"

“I know him,” Bray replied, glancing at Eric as he did so.

"You know him too?"

"I've only met him once, and he didn't leave me with a good impression at all," the colonel said with a shrug.

"I'm so sorry! I left a bad impression on you before, and now I've forgotten to introduce myself!" Jonathan suddenly remembered the important matter after hearing Bray and Eric's conversation.

"I am so incredibly rude." He quickly took off his top hat, bent it at a ninety-degree angle, and apologized to everyone in front of him.

“Although I know a few people, it is really arrogant of me not to introduce myself.” While expressing his apology, Jonathan continued to ramble on.

"I am Jonathan, currently working for the 'Alliance of the Gods'." Jonathan tossed his hat, which then floated lightly onto his head.

"There is a construction site ahead, so I'm here to advise you not to go any further."

"I also came to play a game with Mr. Monk." When he said the word "game," Jonathan's mask instantly revealed an exaggerated smile.
