"Human, I've given you control of the entire nightmare, what are you still afraid of?" A huge figure lay on the clock tower.

The figure was incredibly blurry, as if it might disappear at any moment.

This enormous being is Migorawn, also known as the "Lord of Nightmares" in Owen's words.

Migolavin's head was enormous, resembling the size of a walnut.

The surface of the skull is covered with a net-like pattern, which forms raised folds on the head.

The folds are separated by spaces.

Within these empty spaces are countless eyeballs.

Each eyeball is half the size of Logan.

Compared to this enormous head, Migoravan's body looks very disproportionate.

Thin limbs and long, thin fingers.

Ignoring the various eerie aspects, it still looks fairly human-like overall.

“Your Excellency Migoravan, that man’s power is unimaginable,” Logan said, bowing to Migoravan.

If Logan had previously considered himself an equal to Migora, now he can only submit to her.

The reason is simple: the last time Logan was saved from a nightmare was by Migolavin.

Without Migolavian shutting down the nightmare, Logan would have been killed by Bray.

One can sense death emanating from that jet-black greatsword.

Logan knew very well that if that sword fell on him again, there would be no outcome other than death.

“Your vision is too narrow, human,” Migolavian sneered at Logan.

Migolaw is a native silver species.

However, the silver variety, which should have been hidden all along, has now surfaced.

This is incredibly frustrating.

The silver species should still be in a period of recuperation and should not easily appear on the ground.

Migolavin not only showed up, but also helped Logan intervene in the Black Iron race.

"The strength you speak of is probably just a strong ant to me."

“But it’s enough for me,” Logan sighed.

Logan understood, of course, that the Iron race was as weak as an ant compared to the Silver race.

That adventurer was probably just a weakling in front of Migolavin.

“My esteemed Migoravan, I only need a little bit of time.” Logan pinched his index finger and thumb together.

"It really only takes a little time."

“Everything will be fine as long as that person leaves Knighttown,” Logan said after taking a deep breath.

In this place, Logan is depicted as a monster with a thousand eyes.

Logan's eyes kept darting around as he spoke, which gave everyone the creeps.

However, this appearance was not only not frightening to Migoravan, but even somewhat endearing.

They are also a race with many eyes.

Migolavin's concept was "nightmare".

If Migoravan wanted, nightmares could even affect the real world.

A nightmare shared by countless people, its influence is quite powerful.

Migolavian loves the nightmares that arise when millions of people are in despair.

The nightmare of Knighttown is quite amusing for Migolavin.

“It doesn’t matter.” Migolaw’s head had no mouth, so it was impossible to tell if he was laughing, but judging from his tone, he was quite pleased.

“Just go ahead and experiment.” Migolavian’s fingers pinched Logan’s.

"What are you going to do?" Logan's forehead was covered in cold sweat.

Logan could feel the power emanating from Migolavin's two fingers.

He could be crushed to death by Migorlavin at any moment.

“What an interesting reaction,” Migoravan said casually, his eyes darting around.

“Keep experimenting, keep pursuing the truth you seek,” Migolavian mocked Logan.

Migolavian certainly understood what Logan meant by the pursuit of truth.

It's simply about wanting to grasp the miraculous power of "concepts".

However, Logan did not want to rely on the "Divine Source," because relying on the "Divine Source" would inevitably lead to his death.

Logan wanted to be on equal footing with the Silver Species, not those guys who forced themselves to accept the "concept".

Logan believed that as long as one is inspired enough and glimpses the truth of the world, then "concepts" can naturally be mastered.

Concepts learned through one's own efforts will never have the side effects of "divine inspiration".

"If destroying this town isn't enough, then move on to the next one; if that's not enough, then move on to the one after that."

“Let me see just how far the madness of the Black Iron race can go.” Migoravan flicked his index finger at Logan.

"Let me see if you have the determination to destroy the world, hahahaha."

"That's enough chit-chat. Now get back to what you're supposed to be doing."

Logan, struck by the bullet, vanished instantly from this nightmare.

Migolavian no longer wanted to talk to Logan.

"Hahahaha, this is really interesting." Migorawen, coiled atop the clock tower, let out a sinister laugh.

"The unrealistic desires of the Black Iron type can truly trigger countless incidents."

Most living beings have desires, and for the sake of desires, they may even do inhuman things.

Logan's actions were driven by desire, as were Migolav's.

"Buzz buzz buzz—" The sound of electricity rang out in my nightmare.

A massive vortex appeared in the dark red sky, with lightning roaring within it.

"Migoravan, when are you going to stop playing around?" A deep male voice rang out in the sky.

“Don’t just wander into my world,” Migolavian said.

"So what exactly are you doing? Have you forgotten your mission?"

“I’m doing serious business. Can’t you see that the ‘Wall of the World’ is already showing signs of being shaken?” Migoravan looked up and said with displeasure.

"If you're doing something worthwhile, that's fine. I don't like you being like that idiot Rammel, all talk and no action," the voice in the sky said coldly.

“Ramel? That piece of trash.” Migoravan sneered.

Migolavin already knew that Ramer had been sealed away.

Moreover, he was sealed away by an elven queen.

To be beaten so badly by a Black Iron race, Lamell is truly a disgrace to the Silver race.

"Stop with small-scale operations; one small town isn't enough," the voice continued.

“Of course I know, this is just the beginning,” Migoravan replied.

"We have plenty of time to plan."

“A hundred years, a thousand years, or even ten thousand years doesn’t matter.” Migoravan’s eyes darted around excitedly.

"The 'wall of the world' will one day crumble."

“The annoying inferior species will be wiped out.”

"The world will return to the great First Age."

Migoravan grinned maliciously, his laughter echoing through the crimson world. Logan, kicked out of the nightmare, covered his face, looking utterly pained.

Being forcibly driven out of a nightmare can severely impact one's mental well-being.

Unfortunately, Migolavin doesn't care about Logan's feelings at all.

Do whatever is convenient for you.

"Damn it..." Logan slammed his fist on the floor and stood up, covered in cold sweat.

It's no longer night, but early morning.

Nightmares don't have to happen at night.

It's true that more people fall asleep at night, making it easier to create dreams.

"Hoo..." Logan took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

When he opened his eyes, William's personality emerged.

Logan's true personality lies hidden behind this, silently manipulating everything.

"Knock knock—" There was a knock on William's door.

"What is it?" William called out.

Who came looking for him so early in the morning?

"Mr. William, the commission you asked me to post has already been posted at the Adventurers' Guild," someone said to William as they opened the door.

"It's already released? Well done." William paused for a moment, then smiled.

The sooner the commission is issued, the better.

There isn't one in Knight Town; you have to go to the nearest city to find the Adventurers' Guild.

It takes a while to travel to and from the city.

The commission was issued in just two or three days, which was more than twice as fast as William had imagined.

"Thank you for your hard work." William nodded slightly.

"Also, it seems those adventurers are leaving today," the person who posted the commission added.

"Are they leaving?" William asked, somewhat surprised.

William was somewhat surprised to hear that Bray and his companions had stayed in town for quite some time.

Although it had been mentioned before that adventurers would be brought over, William did not particularly intend to get rid of Bray and the others.

In any case, the adventurers, including Bray, helped Knight Town a lot.

“Where are they now?” William asked.

"They're probably looking for a carriage," the guy who posted the request said somewhat uncertainly.

"They should be at the town gate. I'll go see them off now." William hurriedly straightened his clothes.

"Mr. William, if there's nothing else, I'll be going now."

"Okay, you can go now." William waved casually.

Not long after that person left, William also went out.

However, William was a little puzzled as to why he hadn't changed his clothes all night.

It's really strange to sleep in formal attire.

I was probably too tired yesterday, so I just went to sleep without even changing my clothes.

After William stepped out the door, he tugged at his sleeves and headed towards the town gate.

But he didn't notice that a faint smile had appeared on one corner of his mouth.

“The carriages are too expensive, let’s walk instead,” said Bray at the entrance to Knight Town.

“…” Naruko looked at Bray coldly.
